What is up with the elevators? It felt like it was taking 10-15 minutes for the elevator to reach our floor, and by the time it got there, there was already a huge group of people inside, forcing us to cram in awkwardly or wait another forever for the next one. Parking is kind of annoying with how there are two separate towers and you can only valet in one of them. I'm not positive, but it seemed like the only option we had was to use valet which, again, is really annoying. I'd much rather park my own car rather than waiting for someone to run and fetch it every time I felt like going somewhere.

The room itself nice - clean and spacious. It's a shame that "basic" wifi wasn't included with the cost of the room. The best things going for this place were the location, with convenient, walkable access to the park, aquarium, tons of museums, and the football stadium. I guess that explains why it's so expensive to stay here despite the mediocre hotel experience.

This place was a huge disappointment. The elevators take hours to arrive, and the escalators were broken; there is no reason it should take 20 minutes to go up one floor. Also, after a giant concert there is no reason your public restrooms should be without basic amenities such as toilet paper and paper towels. If you are the primary place for concert goers please be prepared to accommodate them.

Just ok.

Many good food choices! The restaurant is great, and the area is clean. Went to see Kiss at the State farm arena, and was NOT disappointed! They are phenomenal and really know how to put on a show! The pyrotechnics were amazing in the laser show was out-of-this-world! Would highly recommend going to see concerts or other events at this arena. It's inside, air-conditioned, and there really isn't a bad seat. It can't get any better than that in Hotlanta

Stayed at the Omni for an event at the Mercedes Benz Stadium, which was a very easy walk and therefore very convenient. My room smelled heavily of smoke, but upon pointing it out, they quickly got me another room and an upgrade. Very good service, and the second room was good. The hotel will be due for some updates sometime soon, but the location is still worth it. I plan to return.

The bell hop guy deserves a raise or something of great appreciation. If it wasn't for him, I would have not found my room nor got the help I called down from my room to the desk for. The staff was m.i.a...I only give stars for cleanliness, location, view, great bell hop, and beauty of hotel. But staff was not much help and valet price was a bit too much.

Put in South tower. Does not feel like a 4star hotel. (Room is a little older and messier, bathroom is small, and pool is outdoor.) Nice that downtown Atlanta attractions are within walking distance. Staff is super nice. On premise parking is Valet only, to the tune of $35 a night. Wonder if North Tower is different?...

In the center of it all in downtown Atlanta! Service is professional and courteous. Rooms are clean spacious and comfortable. Plenty of amenities, food options, and services all in one amazing locale. I'm already planning my next stay here!

The only reason I give the Omni Atlanta any stars ...

The only reason I give the Omni Atlanta any stars is that the room and lobby areas were clean, spotless and the staff friendly and helpful. But the rest of our three day experience was brutal. The street noise on the 11th floor, sirens at 4 am and 6 am, a noisy Air/Conditioner and bed pillows with hardly any stuffing, made sleeping a challenge. The very small bathroom had a faucet that sprayed water when it shut down and a running toilet that Maintenance fixed promptly the second day when we complained.. What was worse, we lost our cable TV signal for most channels for two days. We couldn't even get CNN which is, ironically, next door!
Maintenance told us the whole South Tower was out, and they were trying to fix it... We checked out of the hotel a day early in a planned 4-day stay, and thankful that the Omni did not charge us for the 4th day.

Very nice hotel, nice, clean, spacious rooms, good spacious bath rooms, nice shower, nice and convenient location in the heart of downtown right next to CNN, very nice banquet facilities, comfortable lounges, extremely friendly staff who are always eager to help. Enjoyed our stay. Definitely would recommend.

Hospitality:

Hospitality:

I was acknowledged upon coming in to the lobby. I was told if I needed any help to let anyone know and they would be happy to serve me.

Hotel Quality:

This hotel surpasses many of it's kind. With a classic design, escalators, genuine furniture, and servants, I enjoyed my stay.

Cleanliness:

Floors were spotless, waxed, and mopped, and swept clean. I could smell the clean scent in the air. The restroom was spotless and smelled fresh.

My only complaint is that the main escalator was broken. Besides that I highly recommend staying.

we arrived on Feb 16th they did not have the room we had payed for inadvance on November the 9th paid in full with no cancellation available. They told me their check in was at 3:00 since it was late all they could offer me was a king and bring in a rollaway bed. Than in the morning they could moved us to a double if available. so been late we took it. Walked to the room and it was dirty. They move us to an other room that was also dirty. It was about 3:40am so we didn't ask at that moment to be moved. Morning i was told no double since they where all reserved hmmm my was reserved too. Well they said they would clean the room and sure they came in and made the bed jajaja. Not only how much you pay but the inconvenience, and stress that can not be taken away. So upsetting. Am marking one star because you have to if not you can't post. But this is a no star hotel...

The Omni is really an exceptional hotel. I loved the classic decor and feeling of the lobbies, elevators, and rooms. I don t know why people complain about it being dated . Not every hotel has to have hip and trendy modern decor, which can look very tacky in my opinion. This place is truly a historic staple in Atlanta. As another reviewer noted, you feel like you are wrapped in luxury. The entire place is impeccably clean. An ever bigger plus is that if you stay in the north tower you ll have an amazing view of the Atlanta skyline and Centennial Park. The staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant had an impressive breakfast selection and was not overpriced. The only downside is that valet parking is required if you drive in, but that isn t really specific to this hotel since almost every hotel in downtown is like this. This place will definitely be my first go to when staying downtown.

The service that I received was worth the stay! I did a stay cation by myself this past weekend and enjoyed it. Samuel, Christian and Lena were very helpful, the night bar staff looked out for me and my room service server was nice as well. My only con was there weren t enough bed linens. I mean what ever happened to comforters or duvet?

Ok

Great hotel and great people! We asked for a room on the higher level and when we got to the room the view was the CNN center. We kindly called and asked for a park view and Samuel came quickly with new keys, a ballon and a birthday card. It made me feel so special and the stay that much better! Bed was comfortable and shower pressure was great! We walked to dinner and the Ferris wheel. Great area. Overall wonderful. Parking pay is kinda pricey, but they are quick and nice!

The main issue we had was the entire 27th floor reeked of marijuana. We asked to have our room moved. They called back and was going to move us in the room next door. That really defeats the purpose. Then we never heard anything else about moving to a different floor. When we checked out the next morning, the front desk couldn t find us in our room, she looked it up by name and found they moved us in the computer but never told us.

Ok

The hotel is nice, but I have serious questions about their maintenance and service. Half of the elevators we're out of service during a busy conference, which is unacceptable. Our housekeeper forgot to replace towels, and there was a water leak from the room above.

This may not deserve a 1 star, but for the rates they charge and to be consistent with the Omni brand, it deserves 1 star. While the lobby looks nice, rooms were severely outdated. In addition to being outdated, a general state of disrepair was present. All furniture was 1970's ish. Large TV cabinet occupying too much floor space only to house a 32in TV. Bed lines that were ripped. Wallpaper that was peeling off the wall. White vents that had black dust/mold. Poorly executed paint jobs. All of this was noted on the survey. They did reach out to me after the fact, simply stating they were sorry, but offering no remediation. Stated that the south tower will be renovated in 2018. I would not book here until 2019 then. Even then, there are too many other options.
