I've used these guys on several occasions to pay for my European purchases. They were efficient, fast, honest and much cheaper than the banks.

OFX used to be a good transfer company BUT no longer. Having placed dozens of transfers with them in the past to the same recipient without issue, on my last transfer my recipient was SHORT PAID a large amount. After raising the issue with their customer service, their reply was that it was not their problem and they have no control over if one of their transfer banks decides to charge a fee. Upon further asking them how I could cover any extrea fees that will be charged , their response was they could not tell what any additiaonl fee amounts might be, so I should just PAY AN EXTRA AMOUNT to cover any fees that might be charged even though OFX cannot give me any indication what these amounts might be. So basically OFX cannot guarntee my recipient will be paid in full. COMPLETE FARCE.

Terrible customer experience. OFX requested funds were transferred to them up front and then held on to them, refusing to process the transaction, coming up with multiple changing requests for documentation. will never use them again

Extremely slow international transfer service. I placed a transfer with OFX on Friday 31/01/2020 as a matter of a family emergency and my mother is still yet to receive the funds and it has been almost 2 weeks, I have requested a refund. Their customer service is OK and I'm glad it isn't an off-shore call centre, however, OFX need to put something in place that allows transfers to happen in a maximum of 2-3 business days. Most other places can do it same day or 2 business days but are currently being investigated with the Westpac scandal.

consistant exemplary service , I have been a customer for over 10 years never had an issue , they are tremendously helpful and patient and give competeitive rates

Decent. But lack understanding how non-Australian banks operate, and also seem to 'hold' your funds (in my case over their estimated 24 hours) even though they have cleared at their foreign recipient bank (intermediate).

NEVER CONFESS YOUR MONEY. INEFFICIENT, ABUSIVE. THEY PLAY WITH PEOPLE AND WITH THEIR MONEY.

Really easy and quick to send money overseas. Create a free signon so you can save your details. Create a trade either based on how much source or target currency you need. Who pays the fee and you're done.. then simply Bpay the amount to OxForex and your done. Last time I did this it cost $32 for the deal and I got murdered on the rate from the bank. This time with OzForex I got a great rate and only a $15 fee..... And I did not have to waste time and visit the bank all done from my Mac.

Poor Conflicting advice and insufficient disclosure of hidden 3rd party fees make this a more expensive service than the "quote" the give you.
Support do not know their own PDS and TOS. They are also condecending and rude. There are better alternatives in my opinion.

Don't ever EVER!! use their currency services!! Made a transfer more than 2 weeks ago which was cancelled and I'm still waiting for them to return my money. Every time I call I have to explain the situation again and again and again. They keep asking me for documentation and no one is able to tell when I am going to receive the money.

Their rates are great, i love being able to pick the moment to transfer (unlike banks which i reckon give you the worst rate of the day) and no fees! Plus their call center is really helpful.

Arrogant, slow, rude staff. They re are so many better and quicker services out there.

f there is 6 or more stars, I will give the highest! I should have used them years ago. Just because its not the big 5 banks, I have thought it won't be that good. But boy....this is my 1st time using them. The rate (I compared to banks), the communications (before, during and after transfer), the Apps, the speed to reach the other end (I transferred to Singapore) are better then excellent!
At first, I was really worry even after reading majority of reviews online were very good but still with some, commenting so badly, and especially I transferred quite reasonable big amount thru them the 1st time! But from now, I will stick to use them. I hope they can also provide such excellent service when I need inward transfer from overseas. One thing for sure, do quote the reference number and once you send your money to them, let them know by email with your proof, so both side keep informed. Thank you OFX!! You have a new customer now (and may be more when I tell all my circles).

Failed to transfer the funds to Europe claiming that we need to be only from specific race to do so.

They're okay. Most of the time everything works - certainly I've never had money go missing. But adding a new recipient is frequently hard work - their search functionalities often don't work. I've honestly given up on them now. Plus they charge a $15 fee with every transfer up to $10k.

Phoned and specifically requested that a trade be put on hold so that the recipient not be paid out, we had a major concern with the item being purchased in overseas currency and wanted to check this out as a matter of urgency before the trade was paid out. I was told no problem the day has been put back a day so nothing will be paid out only to find that same afternoon the money was paid out to the recipient. The answer I received was oh sorry I did not realise that when funds are received in our bank the system auto corrects and pays the money out. What a lame excuse, when you call and speak to someone and are assured the system has been updated not to pay out and then it does so against your specific request, well what kind of system do they have, a very poor one! To make matters WORSE, I have appended to this genuine feedback for this company as I felt the need to let other prospective customers know what could be in store for them, I sent a complaint to the Customer Service Department within OZForex there I was asked to send a complaint to a Manager, well you know when a culture is rotten from the TOP - DOWN, no reply not even a acknowledgment email, there are other businesses that offer this service. From our experience go elsewhere.

I used OFX for over a million dollars of my company's forex transfers for just over a year.

The customer dis-service was so dire that I thought it easiest to illustrate with one example:
A member of their customer dis-service team was clearly not trained and I have my doubts about their suitability for such a role. After finally managing to get transferred to her manager, my request to ask for the call's recording to be reviewed was met with a 'no' by Vani.
I escalated this to a more senior member of staff called Ryan. Rather than addressing their customer dis-service failure, Ryan said that he would review my call, and then failed to.
Ryan then went on to accuse me as having had a 'derogatory manner'. When I asked Ryan to substantiate, he failed to. I embrace constructive criticism on my own performance and that of my team. There's nothing we can do with general accusations, especially when the accuser is given the chance to substantiate themselves and then fails to. Unprofessional to the extreme.

System failures are never rectified and I doubt ever investigated. Not one of my internal transfers (client payments) ever triggered an auto email from OFX. I reported this for about a year on and off, and eventually gave up.

Outstanding customer service, great exchange rates. Been a happy customer for several years, but it wasn't until I tried something a little unusual that required handling, their customer service really shined. Couldn't recommend OFX highly enough.

Yesterday afternoon I waited 40 min to speak to a customer service representative for a deal and subsequently missed my banks cut off time for next day transfer to have funds available for the deal.

What kind of a money transfers organisation lets customers wait 40 min on the phone at such a crucial time of the day?! This should never happen and is absolutely appalling and completely unacceptable!

To make things worse, when I then asked for them to make up from this appalling customer experience and acknowledge the payment through me providing a proof of transfer, they declined.

When you screw people at least try to make amends for what has been done.

In addition, when I called to make a complaint and speak to the manager they were "in a meeting" so I was asked to email the complaint through instead...these guys are completely gutless too!

Very bad...It takes a long time to input data to add a Beneficiary. After save, it pushed me log out. When I login again, no Beneficiary saved. It happened 3 times.
If it remains the same, I will not use its service anymore.

If I could choose no stars I would. Terrible service, poor communication, they waste your time and rip you off. Go to a bank, STAY AWAY FROM OFX

If you want fraud in your life, then go with OFX. OFX welcomes fraud apparently, as they don t bother to change any practices within their organisaton once fraud occurs. After allowing tens of thousands of dollars to be transferred to mexico on multiple occasions without my consent a few years ago, I placed certain security questions on my account to prevent this from occurring again. Not once have these security questions been asked by the representatives at OFX. This company is hopeless at best at managing international transfers.

For 10yrs I've experienced Great Service from OZ Forex. OFX continued giving me a promised top rate Top Rate. I had a Poor Experience last time Transfering $155,000 Aus.
Not my Fault, the Banks. Now They have Changed the Rules & I have to Ring them to get a Rate. Poor service for a Old Customer.

Hassle to deal with from the very beginning! Had challenges setting up my account - required multiple phone calls. Finally made a transfer and it was confirmed, later to be cancelled as they said they tried to contact me. Which they didn't. Have then had to go through the process of ringing them back to find out what the issue is and where my funds are as I had transferred the funds to them when I received the email. Eventually had to rebook it all in over the phone - that is not efficient! If just transferring the money was an issue and required multiple emails and a call- I can only imagine how difficult it would have been to get the money refunded to me. Don't use - plenty other transfer companies out there.

My company has been using OzForex for two years. Prior to this we used a bank. The savings with OzForex are substantial and the transaction simple and quick. The service level is first class. I have been introduced to forward contracts and my occasional midnight transactions handled cheerfully by a dealer in London.

Stay Away, terrible customer service, rude staff. Don t use them. Use other service providers.

Nothing simpler. Probably done upwards of 30 transactions to the UK, Philippines, China and Germany. Nothing gone wrong anywhere and I love being able to book transfers overnight or on weekends when it suits me.

By far the best money transfer service I have used .. seem to have great rates and great service which is hard to find, and since they have been around I am willing to trust them with my money.

Relatively easy to use for overseas money transfers and fees much cheaper than the banks (provided its over $1k)!

I always give OFX a call to do my money transfers and they are the nicest and most efficient people to deal with. I've done 4 or 5 transfers already and they always help me to get the best rates and make the process so seamless! Thanks OFX :)

You would be crazy to use anyone else, especially bank's to transfer fund's OS. Have been using OzForex for over 5 years & strongly recommend them.

I had the displeasure of using OFX to transfer money from Australia to Egypt.It took 14 days for the money to be deposited into my account in Egypt. I phoned them several times and I sent them numerous emails, but they did nothing to solve the problem. I will never use their service again.

This place isnt open 24 hours, neither theres someone to pick up their phone and say so, even though they put u on hold for like half an hour to pretend if there is!

OzForex is the most streamlined, reliable money exchange and transfer service I have dealt with, you will not find a better transfer rate or efficiency of transfer times. Also you will make considerable savings when compared to your bank transfer rates. I cannot recommend OzForex highly enough!

While still undecided I signed up to further explore their offerings. I received a pressuring phone call within 25 minutes urging me to finish my registration. The caller was obviously from overseas judging by the delay on the line. I explained in no uncertain terms that they were never to call me again.

In addition I've received emails urging me to finish registering and use their service.

I'm not interested in such tactics, and as a result I will not be using them.

Used their Moneygram service 3 times. The first 2 times it worked well. But the last time was horrible. They confirmed my transfer. I transferred the money into their account. In about one hour they called me to let me know that they are unable to perform the confirmed transfer citing a nonsensical reason. And the challenge of getting my money back from them took about 3 days. They seemed rather incompetent while dealing with some glitch in their system. I still don't understand the reason why they couldn't make the transfer or why it took so long to return the money. I'm not going to use any OzForex services anymore.

After a very successful experience sending $5000 to the US, trying to send $500 was a trial & I have gone elsewhere! After being directed to Tranzfers, I have been unable to use my Ozforex login and registering with Tranzfers was prevented as I am already have an email regisrered with Ozforex. Frustrating.

Excellent service, no fees. Wouldn't transfer money any other way. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Well done team.

No doubt a good service overall but Oz needs to lift its game with App software particularly the email alerts which I have found either don't happen or unreliable which is worse. Example, I recently set alerts for GBP for 0.48 and 0.47 when at the time it was at 0.475. First it rose some way above the upper mark without any alert message and has since gone down below the low point, again without the expected warning. That experience has cost me over $100!

Another less costly but annoying bug in the App is if under the Rates tab you want to see a rate for GBP, you need to actually press USD and for USD, press AUD. I have sent off a message about this a couple of times to no avail.

So bouquets for the transfer process and rates but brickbats for the clunky unreliable support services.

DO NOT bother with the OZFOREX Travel Card. Called the contact number 5 times over a 2 hour period, even tried the international number, only response "thank you for waiting. We will attend to your call as soon as possible and your call will be attended to by the first available consultant". My call remained unanswered, no available consultants obviously. AMEX offer a much better service

Dont like the hidden fees. Not only that, Transferwire business model of not converting money via the FX market means they are able to beat any spread offered by OFX.

I have been using Ozforex to transfer funds since 2007. From the very first day we moved to Australia from New Zealand. It is still the best and most convenient way to go.

Right up there with the best rates you'll find and most importantly, excellent customer service. Tried another company that was 0.0035% cheaper and had stresses. You can actually talk to a person with OFX to help sort out any issues.

Shocking service with this card. Web site doesn't open and then freezes, using both Explorer and Google browsers. Waited 45 minutes having to listen to same message every minute in order to get through on phone. Eventually on another line was told I would be called back and am still waiting. AVOID!!!!

I have been with OFX for more than 6 yrs. They are not as good as they used to be. Terrible customer Service, on top of it their rates are lower than my bank and their transfer fee more than double what my bank charged, hence I sent money overseas through my bank now. Check your bank rates and fees before you proceed with OFX.

They don't know about their own corresponding bank & their charges as per their own tie up banks. Don't have any ways with them to ensure that other side receive the specific amount. Why a currency provider can't quote the exact charges as per location. Their website shows only good rate but not the charges. That's shameful & cheating the customer.

Absolutely terrible customer service and the service doesn't work. I transferred money with them. The money never arrived at the designated bank account. They were unable to trace the money nor prepared to take responsibility. I have launched a case with the AFCA however am very very dissatisfied. I would never use them again and am very frustrated and disappointed.

I have been using Ozforex for a couple of years. Their service is efficient and their rates are keen. We had used two other forex providers prior to moving to OzForex. Others have tried to woo us away since, but they cant better the rates we are getting, and at best I think they could only match the service level, so we are staying put.

Have been using Ozforex now for several years. Great Exchange Rates Fast Service and no delays so our buying process is fast.

Worst money transfer company i ve ever dealt with. Lack of professionalism in all aspects.

1- they didn t bother to follow up with me when bank asked for further transfer reasons they just realized this when i called to follow up after 2 weeks (they say 2 business days lead-time for transfer).

2- after transfer refused by recipient bank first time, they confirmed transfer was sent on the 16th of Feb and should take between 3-5 business days.

3- after 5 days (18th of Feb) i requested fund tracing request. They confirmed by email it takes 1 business day.

4- on 28 Feb (11 business days from transfer date and 6 business days from fund tracing request), i get same response from customer service reps who read from script and just ask their supervisor.

I am definitely giving them worst feedback everywhere and i highly recommend to never use them

Without doubt, the best and most efficient way to transfer funds internationally. Excellent rates and outstanding customer service. I continually recommend OzForex to all my colleagues.
