So So very disappointed in Them , 45 minutes to set up a wedding for 200 people or pay 225.00 additional per hour on top of a HUGE amount to rent facility seriously . I respect the officer who patrol but those behind the desk making these rules do not consider the average hard working community ..

This makes the second time this has happened to me; a very embarrassing and unpleasant experience to say the least. I went to Dodge pool and was approached by the manager Brian who actually exhibits sexist behavior toward women and homophobia! He refused to allow me in the pool with a tshirt on but when I was leaving there were more than a few MEN who had on tshirts! He was very unprofessional is Parks and Recreation Department that desperate they can't get better help?!

I ve had both of my children involved with the recreation programs for 20 months, I am continually impressed by the professionalism of teachers and variety of activities available. I ve done swimming, bike riding lessons, pottery, gymnastics, golf, tennis and soccer. The parks areas and pools are well maintained and the playgrounds across Columbus are fantastic! Good luck finding another city with the amenities of Columbus Recreation and Parks Department.

Consistently mismanaged adult sports registration process, especially basketball. Would be one thing if cheap/free, but to charge hundreds of dollars and then not put in any effort is disrespectful to the community.

Columbus Parks and Recreation hosted a Back to School Bash at Blackburn Recreation and Community Center to get area kids ready to go back to school. The event was organized by two fraternal organizations from Ohio State and had bounce houses, games, and over 1000 backpacks and school supplies for kids to go back to school. OSU sports figures were there and Brutus Buckeye and a DJ. For 4 hours kids and families had an AMAZING time - no arguments, just playing, dancing, food and fun. The park manager does an excellent job of building programs for kids and we are looking forward to this event next year!
