Purchasing a car from Heritage Hyundai was the best experience buying a car that I have ever had. My salesman Bristol answered all of my questions, was very patient. In the end I got a car I love and had no problem fitting it into my budget. I definitely recommend Heritage Hyundai to everyone I know.

We have been around to a few other dealers in the DMV and haven't found any that treated us with the respect and straightforward attitude as the folks at Heritage Hyundai Towson.

Bristol was very attentive, understanding, and receptive to what we were looking for without pushing us to go after any particular car too hard.

I definitely would recommend this place for anyone that wants to avoid the bait and switch tactics that most other dealers operate with in the area. Great price, great service, great experience.

I had a really great experience with Heritage Hyundai. Ibrahim Kassim gave outstanding customer service. Although I was skeptical of buying a new car because I am a first time buyer, Ibrahim guided me every step of the way answering every question I had and make me feel comfortable with my purchase of a 2017 Hyundai Elantra. I love the car and color! I never thought I would ever buy a brand new car but Ibrahim was excellent at assisting me. I was always a die hard Nissan fan, not anymore. :)

I purchased a 2013 Hyundai Elantra from Heritage Hyundai this past weekend. Jennifer, my salesperson, had the car pulled up right outside the showroom ready for me to test drive when I arrived.
No high pressure sales, no run around with negotiating a deal. The entire buying process was very smooth. They were all very friendly and professional. I'll definitely buy my next vehicle from Heritage.
I wish I would have started my new vehicle search here and not wasted my time at the other Hyundai dealerships.

I purchased a Hyundai Genesis Coupe 2.0 Turbo in M...

I purchased a Hyundai Genesis Coupe 2.0 Turbo in March of 2010 from the Hyundai dealership in Bethesda because they were the only dealership in the area with a manual transmission 2.0 turbo model. However, this dealership, located in Towson is closer so I had the warranty work done there. This place is atrocious to say the least! I took the vehicle into the dealership in June of 2010 because there was a loud creaking noise in the back of the vehicle that they said was due to faulty welding, they kept my vehicle for a week and when I got it back the creaking was actually worse than before! In July 2012 the transmission began to slip when accelerating onto highways and from a stop so I took it back to the dealership in Towson and their mechanic said that the vehicle was running smoothly and that there was no need to diagnose a problem that didn't exist. The transmission began to get worse in September of 2012 and so I took it back a second time for the same problem and they gave me the same answer but stated that my alignment was off, so I gave them the okay to fix it at the cost of $100. After charging me for the alignment they told me that the passenger side control arm was bent and that it would cost $420 dollars to fix and then ANOTHER $100 for another 4 wheel alignment! These people clearly have no idea what they're doing and I felt like I was being taken advantage of by this service department. Nonetheless they have lost a customer and I actually regret buying a Hyundai in the first place.

No hidden fees, everything what was offered originally to me was granted without any buts... Very satisfied with the experience I had, starting with the salesman (Stan) till the the last minute I drove away. Want a $30,000 paperweight sitting in your driveway? That's what Mike Ruth, the service manager at Heritage Hyundai in Towson, calls the 20, yup, that's what he said, 20 Hyundais sitting on his lot in towson waiting for replacement engines - paperweights. My Hyundai, with under 40,000 miles on it , is one of them - a paperweight. Want a paperweight? Run right to Heritage. Want something that runs, steer clear.

After quite a bit of hassle- getting the warranty approved, getting a rental car, waiting for the engine to be shipped to the dealer etc., a new engine was installed in my Elantra. Eight thousand miles later the new engine developed major problems, starting with a cracked valve cover - the problems went on and on adding up to thousands of dollars. I called the service manager at Heritage, he didn't return my call. This dealership is a hotspot of incompetency. Avoid it. Heritage will make your wallet sick a dog.

We arrived at the Heritage Hyundai Dealership a few months ago with the thought of maybe buying a new car. As it turned out we did buy a new car that day, but with no appreciation from this Dealerships sales people. We will explain why; let s start with our entering the building, after looking around for a while, we found that we were utterly being ignored. It took some doing to get the attention of somebody there, anybody. Then we finally were assigned to a sales person named Ben, we were taken on a lengthy ride to go see a couple of cars. This is a time of Covid-19, so we don t want to be to close to anyone for too long. We traveled about 2 miles to see two cars, Ben didn t want to tell us the price of the cars, until we came back to the office.We felt dissatis

Thanks to John, the manager, Jackie, my sales rep, and Janelle, the finance manager, I was able to drive off the lot in a brand new vehicle; plates and all! It was a one stop shop for me. I work in the automotive industry and have heard horror stories of people's experiences at dealerships. Heritage listened to my needs, were attentive, and went the extra mile to get the best deal possible. From start to finish (tags, titles, and all) it took only 7 hours at the dealership over the course of 2 days.

If you have less than perfect credit, I'd highly recommend giving Heritage Hyundai/Mile One a call.

First, I ll be buying another car here. This was by far the best dealer I have been to. They worked hard to put me in the car I wanted and keep it within budget. Mike Eaves was my salesman and he was very knowledgeable about the brand and just made my experience pleasurable. The Finanance dept works magic. I dealt with Garrett in finance and he explained what everything was and what was covered under all the warranties and worked with me on the prices. This dealer will do what they can. Best Car Buying experience I have ever had. The team of: Jason Sponseller, (General Manager), Jackie Coco, (Sales) and Latonya Fowlkes, (Finance) were great to work with. Everyone was very clear and understandable and did their best to make me feel comfortable. Everyone had quick answers to questions. I feel that I paid a very fair price for the vehicle. I felt they went out of their way to make sure I was treated fairly and got quick service. Seemed as they understood my needs and were able to fulfill. I will probably never buy another vehicle from anywhere other than Heritage Auto Group and Mile one.

When it comes to purchasing a vehicle, Stan has been my go to Guy!!! Not only does he have Excellent Customer Service, he's extremely patient!!! Even though I had previously driven the Veloster N, Stan offered yet another test drive to ensure I was truly satisfied!! He also encouraged me to place my daughter's child seat in the car to ensure there was enough space in this vehicle to accommodate her. I previously purchased cars from Stan so I reached out to him by text in which he stated he was off and he was so good that as bad as I wanted this car, I would've waited to come in when he was available in the office. He insisted that he come in on his off day to show me the vehicle with no problem at al!!! Additionally he came in the next day (another off day) to ensure I was ok upon closing the deal. When they drove my newly purchased car which looked perfect from detail, Stan was outside checking every inch of the car as if it was being delivered to him, Lol. If you go to this dealership and not ask for Stan, I'm sorry to say it's your lost. Also, the sales manager John Holliday did an impeccable job of closing this deal quickly with no back and forth. Great guys, great dealership!!!!!!

The whole team at the Hyundai of Towson welcomed me with a high degree of professionalism, specially I brahim treated me excellently and everything went well. Even in the middle of the lockdown that we are experiencing I was able to come and in the same day was able to take out my car. The only minus would be that it took a while to do because there was a high volume of people coming to buy their cars this day, but it is not something that could be blamed on them.

I brought my friends car in for an oil change and multipoint. The advisor had written down my phone number properly, but for some reason she couldn t reach me . I had to call my friend to see if her car was finished so I could pick it up. I had replaced my cabin air filter and engine filter a few weeks before the appointment. This service dept lied on the multi point vehicle inspection and said both filters were dirty. My service advisor was away from her desk when I came to get the car. Another service advisor helped me so I could get the car, while looking over the multi point inspection results, I noticed the tech was trying to say that my engine filter and cabin filter needed to be replaced and marked them red. While the other service advisor was helping me, I pulled out my cabin filter and asked does this look dirty ? He said uh no, no it s not dirty is it . I said no, it s not, it s recently been replaced. They basically tried to get me to spend $100+ on new filters, which cost $8-$17 each, brand new, aftermarket filters. Takes about 1-2 minutes to put the filters in. ANYONE can do this, please watch a simple YouTube video for replacing engine filter/air cabin filter. They also said fluids are dirty, but i don t remember them stating which one. All the fluids are good, they had all recently been exchanged.
Bottom line, I wouldn t trust this service department. The techs will lie and say your vehicle needs stuff when it does not. Unless you have a maintenance plan or if your vehicle is under warranty, I wouldn t recommend bringing your car to them.

This dealership does not have the customer s best ...

This dealership does not have the customer s best interest in mind. Our experience buying from them was misleading. They led us to believe our approved credit union interest rate could be beat by their finance team, and rather than working to find a lower rate during the hours they told us they were doing so while we were completing other aspects of the sale, they did nothing until our credit union closed and then quoted us a higher rate as our lowest option. We had to sign a holding contract to buy the car that put us at risk of paying a higher rate.

The car had been dented and scratched on the lot before the sale, and they committed to repairing it in about an hour s time that Monday. When I arrived for the appointment, they were inadequately prepared for it. They nearly sent me home but were able to find someone to come fix the dent and I remained at the dealership for 5 hours with two toddlers, my husband had to leave work early, and we had to inconvenience another parent to pick up my daughter from school.

Most enraging of all, the car has been vibrating while coasting and creaking during right hand turns since purchase. The Towson service director approved us bringing the car to the Westminster location as it is more convenient to us for the repair under warranty. Westminster found the right strut to be bad and 2 rear engine mounts. Towson disagreed that this much repair would be necessary claiming they had already repaired 2 engine mounts and were hoping if the same ones were bad they wouldn t have to pay the repair themselves due to the part warranty. They put my husband in the middle of a back and forth dispute between dealerships costing him another day of work. Towson tried to feed us that Westminster s assessment was an attempt to upsell us, and they didn t think the repair necessary (under their dollar, I am sure). Then, Towson, preferring to repair in their shop, took the van. They did the bare minimum, replacing only one engine mount under warranty with zero communication to us and no other repair, and returned the car to Westminster for us to pick up. The strut, according to Westminster, is going bad. To me, this is a clear lack of responsibility on the part of the dealership with concern for doing the minimum to get past the 1000 mile warranty until we must cover a strut replacement and another possible engine mount on our own.

In each exchange, the employees of this dealership have addressed our concerns as our own misunderstanding. It has been belittling and ridiculous. I will never buy there again and highly advise that others consider another dealership. Deal with the Westminster Heritage Honda if you have the option. They are better.

My wife and I purchased a 2021 Kona EV from Kevin Kolesa at Heritage Hyundai of Towson. Excellent experience from start to finish. Of course he is well-versed in the product, but it was the little touches that stood out from other salesmen I've worked with. Asking for permission before emailing, blocking traffic so we can safely exit the dealership on our road test-- even helping my hungry wife find a bite to eat while we waited for finance.

The experience was zero-pressure. We came in with an idea of what our highest price would be as well as what we'd like to spend. GSM Walter McDonald worked with us on pricing to meet us in the budget. We both appreciated the no back-and-forth. We were reasonable, they were flexible, and a car was sold!

Finance Director Roman was as honest and transparent as any of the better finance staff I've worked with. No pressure to buy add-ons, able to answer questions regarding coverage, and no nonsense.

I've spent 14 years in the auto business (Audi, MOPAR, Hyundai). I've seen the best and worst of sales people, sales managers, and financiers. Heritage Hyundai met or exceeded all of my expectations. My wife and I recommend the team we worked with very much!

TL;DR: Great experience, flexible, professional, and transparent. Will earn our business for future EV purchases! Thanks, Heritage Hyundai!

Horrible Sales Manager. Lied right to my face about the interest. When caught in the lie he got angry and stormed off. Was very close to buying but hell no now. Too many Hyundai dealerships in the area to deal with his level of professionalism. Sales guy was nice and this manager screwed his sale after 2 hours. Manager was Korean, but I forget his name. I assume they will comment shortly after they see this and I imagine will be a very cookie cutter response. We take pride blah blah blah. Stay away.

Great experience overall. Got me a great car without trying to take advantage of me as someone not very knowledgeable about cars. Great quality & price. Only complaint was that the buying process took longer than i had wanted, as i had to wait for the finance manager to get through multiple other clients before finishing my paperwork. Maybe aim to go during non-peak hours so they re less busy!

My Sonata was serviced timely. Some of the work was serviced under a warranty extended by Hyundai because a part was wearing prematurely. I really appreciate the service rep pointing that fact out and Hyundai for extending the warranty on a known issue.

It gives me confidence towards buying Hyundai's in the future as well as confidence in continuing to use this dealership for service.

Let me start by saying that, I have purchased about 5 cars in my life from a dealership, each time, just made me hate dealers more and more, but this place is not your average dealership. I ve literally purchased my car via emails. I had a quote for a price. I walked in, not 1 penny more on the price I was given. Tom was very professional, and just made me change my mind about all dealerships being crooks. Not only your price was more than reasonable, you just made this buying process as easy as anyone could ever imagine. I was in and out of your place in an hour and half. My wife and I had a very positive experience buying our Santa Fe at Heritage Hyundai last week (3/8/14).

We were met on the lot by Lisa and she helped us all the way through the process. She showed us what we wanted and did not pressure us into what we did not want.

The dealership was very fair with the trade in on our beloved 2009 Santa Fe and made it much easier to trade in for a new 2014 Santa Fe.

Sam, in the business office, was also great to work with. He reviewed the options we had, answered our questions with a trusting level of experience and never pressured us to purchase add-ons we really did not need.

I had a great experience at Heritage Hyundai Towson, and will absolutely be recommending them to friends and family. After speaking with John on the phone (who was extremely helpful) I stopped in to take a test drive and was immediately assisted by Bristol Jordan. We sat down, briefly discussed some options, then headed out to test drive a Hyundai Sonata. Bristol was kind, courteous and extremely knowledgeable about the vehicle as well as the warranty offered by the dealership. I had been shopping for 2 weeks and Bristol was by far the most helpful salesman I had dealt with. I didn't even plan on buying a car that day, but Bristol did everything I could possibly ask for, and ended up earning my business that afternoon. I'm extremely pleased with the deal I got, and have nothing but good things to say about Bristol and Heritage Hyundai Towson. 5/5, A+!

I had a great experience purchasing my 2013 Veloster. Tom was my sales person, and he had the entire deal prepared when I got there, financing ready etc. All I had to do when I walked in was to sign my name! This was the easiest, lowest hassle purchase of anything major I think I have ever made. I was shown the car, every possible feature, given access to cool Hyundai programs, and everything was made simple and enjoyable. I would definitely go again.

One of the best car buying experiences I've had. I visiting 5 other dealerships, mostly on Rt. 40 west of the beltway. None compared. Very friendly and will work to get you the best price on a new car. Scott, specifically, was very helpful and delivered on everything he promised. I chose Heritage Hyundai because of the customer service and trust, despite living in southern Baltimore County.

Hands down the best car buying experience we have ever had. Lisa Lescalleet was exceptional and is the reason Heritage Hyundai is getting 5 stars from us. Lisa made it a great experience. Follow-up review. After 3 months the new GM finally took care of me the best way possible. The used Chrysler I bought had the engine light issue that not only came on again but the car died leaving stuck at work! I had the car towed from DC to Towson and Heritage covered half the cost. John Holiday, the new GM picking up all the outstanding issues, had spent the entire day trying to get me financed again. By the time I arrived, the brand new 2018 Elantra was waiting for me and the paperwork was being finalized. They did the right thing buying the Chrysler back at the price paid and working a good deal on the new vehicle considering my limitations. Perry, my original sales person, stuck by me the entire time again (he is awesome) making sure all was done fairly and to my satisfaction. Thank you Heritage for making it up to me. Glad to know the entire dealer knows me by now. I may have to send a fruit basket for Christmas ;) And thank you John Holiday for the efforts made. Good luck !

First Review....I drove 3 hours that Saturday to arrive at 6pm; I was signing 20 minutes later. The staff was very nice and pleasant. The Finance Manager Pablo Gonzales was a shark, if you know what I mean, but he was nice. He let my son borrow his personal tablet to watch cartoons while we signed paperwork. BUT the car had an issue (a few); the engine light was on. We added a clause to the documents stating Heritage Hyundai would cover all expenses associated with the repair (s) of the engine light. Perry let me know that I could take the vehicle to any Mile One service center, so that I did not have to drive 3 hours to Towson again. The light went off after filling up the gas tank, so we thought it had been the gas cap. Unfortunately, the light came back on while driving back home. The next morning and to my surprise, I also spotted mold in the back interior, the oil change seemed to not have been changed based on the sticker on the windshield, and there were spider webs on the interior of the doors (car was not detailed). Monday morning I called Mile One and the closest one was 1.5 hours away (figures), so I scheduled a Wednesday drop off. Tuesday night I called to confirm, and the service person was surprised to know I was taking my Chrysler there since they didn t have the necessary equipment to check Chryslers (telling me after 2 calls!). They ended up taking my car in and providing me with a rental from enterprise (at their expense). After many excuses and follow-ups, my car was returned 1 month later on July 19 with 560 miles added to the car and in FILTHY condition!! The driver felt so embarrassed that he took the car to the closest carwash and came back that evening around 7pm. But even worst, after inspecting the car I noticed it had two HUGE TEARS on the cloth of the back seat. You could see the inside stuffing of the seat. I have been in communication with Perry since; and even though he seems to be trying to get a resolution, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING has been done. I have called every two days and spoke with Perry, Justin Skinner various times, the new Finance Manager once, but still Mike Yoon (previous GM) nor John Holiday (new GM) have done nothing to address my issue.

I went to Heritage Hyundai in Towson in order to buy a 2018 Hyundai Elantra car on Labor Day weekend. The salesmen Greg and Rich were really helpful and nice, but the manager Doug was extremely rude to me and my mom. Every time we asked a question, he scoffed and yelled questions like "Are you going to buy the car today or not?". I'm pretty sure customers have the right to ask any questions before paying $20,000+. I guess he may have had a long day? Who knows! But he didn't even look at us when he talked to us and we felt extremely offended and uncomfortable. I ended up buying my car at Antwerpen Hyundai in Clarksville with a significantly lower price, so if you want to be respected and buy a nice car with a great deal, go to Antwerpen Hyundai in Clarksville, NOT Heritage Hyundai in Towson. It was such an awful experience for my family and I. Very unprofessional!

The week old (but brand new) Hyundai s windshield washers would not spray. Sad but true so I visited Towson Hyundai to introduce myself to the service writers as I would become their new customer despite not having bought my Palisade at Towson. Mike the Manager overheard my plight on the windshield sprayer and grabbed Mike the Tech and promptly walked to my car on the street, popped the hood and began a look-around with his flashlight. By the third diagnostic minute, Mike the Tech popped a plastic sleeve off, reconnected the fluid supply line to the nipple and the system functioned properly. Mike the Tech s crowning gesture was to refill the washer fluid reservoir and send me on my way. Thoughtful, courteous, and professional. Elapsed time: Six minutes.

Lots of business lessons here: Don t make the simple complicated. Help if you are able. Realize you can cement a customer relationship at any moment. Pivot when you can.

In a world of gloomy service stories, my first Towson Hyundai experience was positive and exemplary.

They paid my down payment for me, $500, that was a first and pretty cool. But the process took about 5hours! They swore it wasn't normal and had a few unexpected problems. But eventually we got the deal done and got a brand new 2018 Elantra for $255 a month. So the deal was great! But the experience was awful. If your willing to be patient for sometime, the deal will be a good one. If your time is more valuable to you then money, look elsewhere. We ended up finally getting out of there at about 9:50pm. But very happy with the purchase. Just hated the transaction process and duration.

I was very nervous that I wouldn t be able to get a loan on my own but Karl Smith quickly proved I was in good hands. Karl let me know that purchasing my car was a team effort and he made sure I understood what was happening. Everyone I encountered at Heritage Hyundai was warm and friendly and I d like to thank them all ! I am 25 years old, still young enough to where buy...

I am 25 years old, still young enough to where buying a few cars in the future is realistic. I can honestly say I would never go back for various reasons. The car itself is okay, brand new 2013 hyundai elantra, minus a few things being wrong, but more of the problem being the the service. So Lets first talk about the service!

-Salesman was fine and very polite the entire time. He did not pressure me at all which is what I liked.
-The deal was if I purchased a car my my mother would get a 100 or 200 dollar check or prepaid gift card since they referred me (they had just purchased a brand new sonata there). This gift card was never paid. I will come back to this later :)
-When it came to the loan I put down 6 grand and financed the rest. So as I spoke with the lady who arranged the loan, I gave her my bank info and she said she would contact them to get the loan through them. She comes back literally 5 minutes later and says their hotline was not available. So best alternative was a high interest rate from some unknown bank. So a week later I go to my bank and ask to refinance so I could get the loan through them. My bank told me i should have been able to get the loan through them in the first place and the hotline to set everything up is always 24/7 for these kinds of services, similar to every other bank. Guess this lady gets a kickback for setting loan up at that bank she assigned me to?
-So about 8 months go by and I need my first oil change. I tell the guy my seat has already worn out and I work in a business setting with very little travel sso its strange it wore so quickly. Guy takes a look at it and says sure we will replace it and takes pics and sends to hyundai and says he will put in for replacement park either way. It was about a month and no call back after he said they would replace it. I call them and was told service manager would call me in a few hours. 3 Days go by and no call so I go and call again and finally get a hold of him. He says part is still on backorder. So 5ish more months go by and nothing. I go in for my next oil change and what do you know the guy who was arranging my oil change says there was no record of it. So i tell him the story and he says service manager was fired. I say okay not my problem you would replace it so he says okay and gets me the new service manager. He says fine we will replace it and takes pics as well. Then says I am putting in the order for the seat cover to replace it. So another 3 months go by and I again need an oil change as it was getting close. So I come in and say to the guy you were suppose to call me to replace this and the guy says its on backorder but says we will have it in a week. He says come back next Friday and we will replace the cover but we cant give loaner. I said sure, so I take off and come in Friday and worker says sorry but its still on back order. So me being so mad but polite say okay just call me when it comes in then. Right when I leave I called corporate and got a hold of a lady who said she would contact service manager. So she does and he calls me and obviously I was mad so as I explained the situation to him with frustration for taking off and wasting time and money, he acts like I am the bad guy for calling corporate and being upset. So I wait a week and I get a call to come in that part is here and they will give me rental.. SO i sit in lobby for 2 hours waiting for rental and it turns out rental guy heard the service guy say honda not hyundai (not sure whos fault but yet another problem). So i get rental and come back next day to see only top seat cover was replaced despite what original service manager promised.. I gave up there for this seat. I go in to dealer and talk to head guy there and tell him they owe my mom a 100 or 200 dollar check and he said he will send it out..5 months later and still nothing..

Also, car trembles at idle and occasionally doesnt start on first key turn, service guy said they couldnt do anything until check engine light came on to find problem..

My first new car experience... you get the point.
