Great customer service, they work with you, no pressure

My car was serviced Wednesday 11/11/21 and Keith was my service technician. He was awesome to work with and made the process much easier then I anticipated. Thank you Keith for your great customer service it was greatly appreciated.

I spent 45 minutes on that location waiting for a salesperson I never get one so after an hour I left not going again

Unfortunately, I did not have the same experience as others. 1st: How many times do u have to tell a new salesman, Kevin R, that u do not like a car he is desperately trying to sell you? This tells me you are more concerned about your sell than my needs. My refusal to drive the car should have been the biggest clue but it wasnt. NOTHING is worse than being pushed into a major purchase u dont want and a salesman who ignores your direct requests because he is "trained" to do otherwise. 2nd: I spent hours looking at 2018 models they wanted me to buy and getting a tour of a service center I didnt ask to see after a long work day. Everytime I stated what I desired he told me what he needed to do or say bc he was in training. So no one trained this guy on reflective listening. I HATE being stuck with the trainee who doesnt have natural closing skills. Last, I was surprised at the limited inventory and colors available. But, thanx to one deaf trainee I ended up financing the SAME make, year and model from another GMC dealership in the far suburbs for $8k less than what Mike Haggerty tried putting me on the hook for. So my advice is...avoid the new sales guy who's only interested in pleasn the bosses and only visit this dealership if u want to be overpriced for a 2018 model.

I and my wife have been purchasing vehicles from Haggerty GMC since 2005 with our first vehicle a Pontiac G6, Since that date including our recent purchase yesterday (December 08, 2018) we have bought 6 vehicles from them. The sales department is great, our salesman for this purchase (2019 GMC Terrain Denali) was Bruce Ary. My wife and I met him and Katie Haggerty when we stopped in to look at the vehicles, there was no pressure during our quick look.

Once we left, I had a conversation with Bruce later that day and I told him the car model and amities I wanted for my purchase. He went through the dealer s inventory and emailed me two vehicles that exactly met my requirements. A few days after we spoke I went into the dealership and met with Bruce and one of the sales managers John Red. I asked if I could take a similar vehicle out for an extended test drive and they were more than happy to allow my wife and I to fully evaluate the vehicle.

During the test drive were sold and definitely wanted to purchase it that day. Once we returned we started our negotiations which included a price on the trade in that we also purchased from Haggerty GMC new in 2010. The process was hassle free with no stress. We received a very good price on our trade-in along with the rebates, we signed to purchase.

Every one we spoke to that day was extremely professional and knowledgeable from the General Manager Bill Haggerty the sales manager John Redelsperger (John Red for short) especially our salesman Bruce Ary and the Finance Manager Paul Bednarz. They made the purchase smooth and tension free.

I would very highly recommend Haggery GMC for anyone looking for a great experience and a great deal. On a final note the service department is also one of the reasons we keep coming back, professional service writers and very qualified mechanics. You wont go wrong with Haggery GMC!!

Very disappointed. My boyfriend bought a used BMW three weeks ago and the engine light came on. Mike Haggerty alleged they were unable to look at the car so my boyfriend took the car to a BMW dealership. He then received a call stating that there were $3000 worth of repairs that needed to done to the car, the most expensive being an oil drip into the engine. My boyfriend immediately called Mike Haggerty and they alleged the used car sales manager was out of the office and didn't know when he would be available. They admitted that they did not look at the engine since the engine light was not one at the time of sale. But, that was the extent of assistance they could provide.

It's a shame such a reputable car dealership would put someone in this predicament. I have previously recommended this dealership to people I know, but I definitely will no longer be recommending my clients, friends, and family to this dealership. If you're looking to buy here, especially used, PLEASE ERR ON THE SIDE OF CAUTION.

Thomas knew a lot about the features of the car I was interested in. He was very polite and easy going. Everyone there that worked with me throughout the process was very knowledgeable and helpful. They all made me feel assured of my purchase and answered every question I had very well.

I went to Mike Haggerty Buick GMC after having a horrible experience earlier that day at a different dealership and was quite pleased by the reception I received. My salesman Jimmy took very good care of me and my friend and I ended up getting a spectacular deal on a brand new 2018 GMC Acadia. We shut the place down that night making the deal. We had the BEST CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE we've ever had, working with Mike Haggerty Buick GMC to purchase a 2020 GMC Terrain, Elevation Edition. After visiting multiple dealerships in the area (either finding their offers or how they treated us to be unsatisfactory), we finally found our way to Mike Haggerty Buick GMC. We started our discussions through email with Katie Haggerty and Sabrina Haggerty. We felt that we were treated with patience, honestly, and openness throughout the whole email discussion process. When we arrived in person, we were met by Katie and Sabrina, in person, as well as by the salesperson who worked with us through the purchase, Mike Pendleton. They honored the price they discussed with us through email and treated us with the utmost kindness and respect. Mike was easy to work with, honest, and friendly. He did not cause us to feel any undue pressure (too much pressure can be a pervasive problem when buying cars and working with salespeople), but, instead, he made us feel welcome and cared for. We also did not feel pressure or uncomfortable when working with their finance department. Paul was kind and explained everything clearly. He was gracious and open when we had a lot of questions and asked to double check everything (we have been mistreated while working with dealers before, so we were being very cautious). OVERALL THIS WAS A FANTASTIC AND VERY SATISFYING CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE!

Very disappointed. Scheduled an appointment on June 10th online and requested a loaner vehicle for 11am on June 14th. Appointment was confirmed by email and the service department called me on Monday the 12th to confirm the appointment. During the phone call to confirm the appoint for the 14th, I was transferred over to a "service advisor" to confirm the loaner vehicle was available, since I have the extanded warranty that I purchased with the vehicle. Advisor told me I was all set for the loaner when I arrive for my appointment and took all my contact information down. I show up for the appointment on the 14th and the service representative at the service counter, very polite guy, told me there was no loaner available. I left work, hoping to drop the vehicle off and return to work, to find out there was no loaner scheduled for me. They said they can shuttle me back to work. When I told them where work was they said no that's too far. I called off work. I called the Cadillac dealer less then 1/2 a mile away in Oak Lawn. Shirey Cadillac of Oak Lawn told me I can bring the vehicle in and they will give me a loaner vehicle or they will get me a rental vehicle after they diagnosed the vehicle. I rarely leave comments, but this place really frustrated me, wasted my time, and was a disappointment for a for a Yukon Denali that is less then 2yrs old and purchased less then a year ago.

I have to give them 5 stars after everything they did for me. I was recently in an accident where my vehicle was totaled. I was just browsing when I entered the dealership but they were so welcoming that I had to return to purchase my new vehicle. I am loving my new Buick!

Please BEWARE of the financial department they will blatantly lie in order to make more money upon a sale. I was convinced to purchase the extended warranty even though I denied it at first. However a man by the name of Abid convince me it would last the duration of my car alone. Also my extended warranty wasn t supposed to start until my manufacture warranty was OVER!. This was a flat out lie. Now I find out that I wasted $3000 on something that I can t even use now. Don t trust them. Read everything even if it takes you hours before signing anything. Never purchase their extended warranty it s a waste of money.

Great experience....in and out quickly and allowing scheduling appointments for weekends is great for those with busy weekdays.

It was a long process for our car to be serviced and some of it was beyond this dealership's control. We had to wait on warranty approval. After warranty approval and engine being replaced there were several hiccups before the vehicle was to our satisfaction. The service department was patient and worked with us through this process. Pedro assured us that he would not stop until the vehicle was up to par, manager Ken was helpful as well. Overall, everyone was professional, except customer service employee Kayla, she was rude and even at one point told us "Your vehicle is a 2008" as if because it was older, we had to settle for shoddy work. I mentioned this to Ken and he said that he would take care of it, but we never followed up. This was a very stressful situation and if not for Pedro I'm sure it would have been worse. I would really like to send a heartfelt thank you to him for getting us through this difficult time.

It's okay. My salesman was patient. But he and another person unknowingly offended my husband by calling him Pops. If he had been the buyer he would have walked out. The dealership does not give incentives for referrals.

Stay away from Mike Haggerty! Transmission went out on my wife s 2017. They refused to give her a loan vehicle... they also tried to trick her into paying $3k. For warranties that the vehicle is already under.... I ll be in Chicago next week. Y all be ready to hear me out.

The child was simply saying how bad we as African Americans are treated by the police, so the cop overheard him and proceeded to call the young man all kinds of inappropriate names, so the fact that a so called professional who is suppose to serve and protect can get a child fired from his job, is a disgrace. Worst. Experience. Ever! These are some clowns that trying to get you in their door to "fool" you to buy cars. They actually think you "need" them. Which is absolutely hilarious! I've been talking over the last couple of days with Isamar Toledo who said that my offer for a Jeep Liberty was "reasonable". Mind you that my offer included my trade in, taxes, etc. So I agreed to come to the dealership so that I can come buy the Jeep that I was looking at. But I told them many times that a deal is dependent on them not low-balling my trade in. Darrell Simmons agreed that they would appraise my vehicle first as I didn't want to waste anyone time, including mine since I drove 45 minutes to get there.

When I get there, I was met Darrel who then connected me with a Salesman (Vince) who I have no complaints about. As discussed before, I gave Vince my key to appraise my vehicle, he then gave the keys to a "sales manager" named "John Red" to appraise the vehicle while we looked at their vehicle. I told them first hand that I didn't want to test drive the vehicle until they appraise mine as the deal was dependent on the price they were offering. As I walked out with Vince, "John Red" followed us, to the potential vehicle. They crowded me trying to pressure me to test drive their vehicle. Remember, I came 45 minutes with an agreement that they would appraise my vehicle and then we'll get to their vehicle. They were not having that. "John Red" slammed his hand on their vehicle's hood and said "you want to buy a vehicle that you don't want to test drive?" I'm like "what does that mean?" They kept saying it.

So we go on and on, and I'm not budging until they appraise my car as agreed, but they didn't want to do it. This tells me they either wanted to low-ball me or they were just lying about my reasonable deal. I asked for my keys back and called Darrel Simmons. He talked to "John Red" and then came outside. Guess what he thought he was going to have me do. Yes, test drive their vehicle without appraising mine. LOL. So I took my business elsewhere. NAPERVILLE CHRYSLER JEEP DODGE IS THE BEST!!!!

So I followed up with Isamar to tell her how slimy and disrespectful their dealership was, and she responded with the phrase "We apologize that things didn't go according to your process." LOL. Are you serious? She also informed me that I spoke with BILL HAGGERTY/General Manager. She called him the "BIG BOSS". I have no idea what professional organization that's looking to keep/attract customers that calls their general manager "Big Boss". This is crazy and unprofessional. These people are slimy.

THESE PEOPLE ARE CLOWNS!!! STAY AWAY. THEY SAY THEY ARE REAL MANAGERS, BUT NO ONE COULD MAKE THE SIMPLE DECISION TO APPRAISE MY VEHICLE. THEY ARE SCAMMERS THAT ARE TRYING TO GET YOU INTO THE DOOR.

Worst experience I have ever had I've been here twice for a mechanical issue within 2 months. TWICE having the same problems and symptoms.
I continue to tell them what's wrong and they continue to ignore me and fix things that aren't causing the problem because again today I am still having the same exact problem a month later once again and they continue to want to charge me when they never fixed the issue the first 2 times. All they care about is a pay check. Most lazy unprofessional shop I have ever been to and heard of.

I took my vehicle in for an oil change, Pedro was very nice and helpful. He took time to help me set up my buick app and onstar. They maintained covid regulations. Every one was wearing masks. I had an overall good experience today, thank you Pedro!

I had a great experience at this dealership! I owned a 2016 Ford Focus and was upside down a lot. Vince, Pauly and lavonse did a great job to get me out of that car. No one would help me. Every time I went to a dealership to try and get out of the Ford Focus everyone told me it was impossible!! Well this dealership proved them all WRONG! I recommend this dealership to anyone that has a hard time getting financed or are looking for true and honest people to help you.

Worst experience ever,the credit application person lied to me and screwed me with the Interest rate (i contacted the bank afterwards and they confirmed that i should have got 1,5% lower rate).I tried to switch the credit application to my Company Name and He was ignoring my calls for a week (left 10 messages to front desk),i contacted Buick Headquarters and they promised to resolve the Issue but the local dealer didn't do anything.They suppose to install few missing covers and never called or shipped them to me.
I would never recommend this Dealership to Anyone.Strongly advise to be extremely careful with them.

Purchased my 2nd vehicle from here. I am very pleased with all the help and assistance I received from ALL the staff. For the last year I had come to realize that I was taken advantage of when I bought my very first vehicle from somewhere else. The car wasn t worth what I was paying for it. I had been looking to do a trade in but couldn t decide where to go. They say god has a plan for everything and everyone. Brought the car in to fix a problem with the right suspension , and was told that the right strut was bent which was causing the problem . He told me that it would take one and a half hours to fix it, and that is was it took. Very good service.

Absolutely the worst car buying experience! UNETHICAL, SHADY and straight up RUDE people to deal with. DISTASTEFUL customer service. Bill Haggerty was UNAPOLOGETIC after finding out about one of his salesman's (Roger) shady antics... Was unbelievably DISRESPECTFUL and literally laughing on the phone stating "well what do you want me to do about?" ... In reference to a vehicle they sold to me which I was told to come pick up today.... After completing all the financing with my bank and everything . I tried picking it up days ago but was told "not to come" because "the paperwork wasn't ready" and I should come today instead. Had a bad feeling about the whole deal so I called while en route to pick up my new vehicle only to find out they sold it to someone else... On the very day i was supposed to pick it up in the first place when "the paperwork" wasn't ready! Was even told they had a sold sign on it and it was taken off the lot. All lies. And to top it all off no one bothered to inform either when it was sold. I've never taken to the Internet to write bad reviews ... But this experience has left me so sick to stomach to think people operate a business and treat their customers like this... Already made calls to GMC and the Better Business Bureau .. I am that DISGUSTED by their unethical behavior.

I have been going to Haggerty for many years because of their fairness, honesty, knowledge and attention to details from the moment I walked in the front door to servicing my vehicle. I have been more than happy with Haggerty and will not go anywhere else.

I would normally rather get teeth pulled than deal with shopping for a car, but the guys at Haggerty Buick/GMC somehow made the experience less painful lol.

Fresh out of college I was totally out of my zone buying my first car so I brought along my experienced grandparents. But I knew exactly what I wanted and what I could afford to pay. And once I explained that to Tom Keane he was determined to get me into a truck that I would not only afford but love. Whether he was talking to me, my sweet grandmother, or my tough as nails grandfather he was always attentive and helpful. Everything was handled in house from financing to the insurance. I'm in LOVE with my truck and was very pleased with the sevice provided by Tom and the whole team.

Could not believe the shady actions at this dealer. I had been searching the internet for a few days and seen a vehicle I was interested in on their website. After looking around I checked their website once again and the vehicle was still listed. So I drove right over to have a look, it's literally a half mile down the road took me all of 5 minutes to get there. One of the first things I was asked is did you see the vehicle on our website, I said no just to see if they were on the up and up. I liked the vehicle so we sit down to talk numbers and suddenly the vehicle is $16,000 more than the internet price. I tell them that's way too high and suddenly some manager appears and magically drops the price $16,000!! At that point I seen what kind of place they were so I check the website on my phone but now it's listed $12,000 higher then before hmmmmm so they changed it when I said I didn't see it online. So I left and when I get home I searched the vehicle on the other car sites they advertise on and sure enough it's listed at the original price I had seen!!! Shady business practices and I would not recommend them to anyone!! They lost me as a customer and hopefully anyone that reads this review not to mention any word of mouth among family and friends. I have used their service dept for years and will no longer do so!

Extremely attentive salesperson, need computer at each desk

I came in to get an oil change on August 21, 2014, I came in at 10:04 am, and have not left until 12;30PM
over two hours for oil change, just because they FORGOTto call me when my car was ready.
After I finally got my car back and paid for the service, the manager called me in his office to apologize, and offered me FREE oil change next time.
Well, today 11/25/2014 was my next visit. I NEVER GOT MY FREE OIL CHANGE
Service person told me there was no notes in the system. Also was not too friendly or nice.
i will NOT be coming back the service my car at that place never again.

BAIT and SWITCH!!!

Spoke to the Haggerty sales reps multiple times on the phone going over the specific type of SUV we were looking for. They comfirmed they had it, sent a link to the car and agreed to a price. Ended up they did not have what we requested when we went 3 hours later. They just tried to sell us on anything they on the lot.

Wanted to take a shower after dealing with them.

Salesman, Michael Pendleton is the greatest! Michael went far and beyond to assure me about my 2017 Buick Envision. He got me the right price and right auto for me.
