I had an issue with a recall on my 2003 Honda Civic LX that had supposedly been repaired already but seemed to have failed. My car was smoking from the steering column and had a strong burning smell. I called a Honda dealership closer to where I live in Richmond, twice, and was basically told to go somewhere else because I didn t purchase the car there and hadn t had it serviced there. They were also flat out rude both times I spoke to someone in the phone. I then called Pearson Honda and not only were they super friendly, polite, knowledgeable and accommodating, they fit me in the next day, AND they found out that the recall fix that had been documented as having been done by another Honda dealer also in VA (Fredericksburg/Stafford ) was actually NOT done only checked but the faulty parts were NOT repaired (isn t that the whole purpose of a recall?! To
FIX the issue that s causing a problem?!). Pearson figured that out, called the other dealership to confirm, fixed the issue associated with the recall on my car (it involved smoke, burning and a potential FIRE in the turn signal/headlight assembly!) Every single one of the people I dealt with at Pearson was super friendly, knowledgeable and a complete pleasure to deal with. The HECK with the Honda dealerships on Broad Street in Richmond (flat out rude and refused to help me) AND the one in Fburg/Stafford (who said they had fixed my recall issue but never actually did)...I am a new and very grateful Pearson customer and will give ALL my future Honda related business to them. Oh, and I did not purchase my car there or had I had it serviced there previously...no matter...they welcomed me with open arms! So grateful for being treated SO WELL on all counts by EVERYONE I dealt with at Pearson. YOU GUYS *ALL* ROCK!!!! Ten stars and two thumbs WAY UP!!!!
