I've been bringing my MB into this dealership for 17 months, since I bought it. From day 1, I've had the same problem with my head unit and Mercedes has told me it's my problem to figure out. 4 phones later and the finally publish a TSB, but basically with the same guidance, not our problem, you should hard reset your phone every time iOS updates. Even Ford has this figured out! I should have saved myself 30k and bought a Ford SUV!

I love my new car! My sales associate, Omid, was very professional and helpful throughout the process. He answered all of my questions clearly, and I did not feel pressured nor rushed during my visits. Omid is knowledable, passionate, and truly wants the best for his clients. The finance manager, Fernando, was also informative and supportive. He is personable, professional, and helps make the financial aspect as easy as possible. I am beyond satisfied with the service that I received and with my second car purchase through Mercedes Benz. I highly recommend this dealership. You won t regret it.

Bought a used car from a small dealership and had ...

Bought a used car from a small dealership and had MB of KC do a pre-purchase inspection before I bought it. They noted a few things, nothing too major (visor missing mirror, fender liners torn, small oil leak to be expected for the age of the car). I've owned it for a little over 2 months and have come across a number of things I was very disappointed they didn't find.

1) The car has dynamic seats, but the drivers has a leak in the bladder so doesn't function. They didn't note this.

2) 3rd brake light had most of the LEDs out

3) Recently discovered there is no anti-freeze in the system, it was just straight water.

4) Gas tank was leaking which would cause the interior of the car to smell so badly of fuel I'd have to drive with the windows down all the time. Thankfully that was covered under extended warranty after I bought the vehicle and it's already been fixed by my own local dealership (not Kansas City).

Though I paid for the inspection I did not receive a copy of the report from MB of KC. They gave it to the owner of the dealership I bought it from. When they called I asked for details of the report and they seemed mostly concerned about getting my credit card number because the owner of the car was standing there waiting to go. I felt he wasn't giving me as detailed of information.

Edit:
Spoke with the service manager and he was very kind. He explained that there are two types of inspections, the brief general "used car" one I paid for that takes about an hour, and a more thorough one they do, like for certified preowned cars. I was never made aware of this more thorough option. Other dealerships I've had inspections done at do a more thorough job, like checking functions of the seats, so I anticipated MB would have done the same. In the end, I was partially refunded for the misunderstanding. He was great to talk to and though I wish I would have got the initial service I thought I was getting, I think we had a fair compromise.

I purchased new tires from them in July. In February, I noticed I had a flat tire from what I thought was a slow leak. The leak ended up being a hole and the tire was ruined. They ordered a new tire, once it came in a couple days later, they installed it at a minimal cost to me and washed my car! I have always had great service here

I just purchased my first Mercedes-Benz at this dealership and had an amazing experience. One thing right off the bat that I really liked was how you are able to test drive the car you are looking at purchasing without feeling like you are in drivers ed all over again with the salesman sitting right next you. They told me take it for a spin and be back in about 30 minutes, it was great! Also, every person I've been in contact with there has been very knowledgeable and easy to work with. They know how to do custom service at this dealership. I am a very satisfied customer and will definitely be back in the future.

I recently moved to the Lee's Summit area from Southern California. I had a great relationship with my former Mercedes Benz dealership and brought my vehicle to them for ALL my service and maintenance needs. When my Mercedes was due for scheduled maintenance, I called around to retrieve numerous quotes for this service. The costs varied tremendously between dealerships and independent automotive mechanics, so be aware of this. Ultimately, I decided to take my vehicle to Mercedes Benz of Kansas City, because quite frankly, I prefer mechanics with propitiatory Mercedes Benz factory equipment and software working on my cars. My Service Advisor was TJ. He was extremely professional and provided to me the Five Star level of service I have always been accustomed to with my former MBZ dealership. TJ made sure this service was completed in a timely manner and at a very reasonable price. I know individual experiences vary widely; however, my experience was very positive and I highly recommend this dealership to all discerning Mercedes Benz owners who are accustom to premier service at the utmost reasonable prices. FIVE STARS for Mercedes Benz of Kansas City and to my Service Advisor TJ! Keep up the good work; I will definitely be back.

Jesse the auto concierge presented a complete review of the amazing features of this car. Every time I come into Mercedes Benz of Kansas City I have a positive experience. Being a first time car buyer, I was anxious of what I was walking in to. Shervin spent a substantial amount of time with me in order to find a car that was perfect for me and I appreciate his understanding in my indecisive behavior.
Fernando in finance was very kind, and patient while answering all of my questions and helping me to understand all of my concerns. Due to all of these factors I was able to walk out of Mercedes Benz of Kansas City pleased with my overall experience and ecstatic about my new purchase!

One of the worst experiences I have had with a dealer. Our salesperson did a good job but downhill after that.
My spouse was treated like an inconvenience during orientation to her new car. To make matters worse, they forged her initials on some of the delivery paperwork. I called the GM about this and never got a return call, so I suppose we didn t lease an expensive enough car to make it worth his time.
I ve bought and leased cars from BMW, Volvo, Infinity, Acura, Ford, and used car dealers. Of all these experiences, Mercedes Benz of Kansas City was the worst experience I have every had.

Had the AEM recall work done on our 2014 Sprint 3500 based Winnebago View. Also had them replace the SAM module so I now have functioning passenger side door locks. Everything worked great, it was ready when they said it would be, drop-off and pickup were quick. Unit was nice and clean inside (seat was covered with plastic when they drove it up) and everything worked.

If you want a dealer to give you false promises a mile long just to make the sale and not follow through with any of them, this is your dealership. The worst management of a business ever and unprofessional sales staff in every sense of the word. One example of many--waited over 4 months to get a second set of keys and a front license plate bracket to be legal in MO. Strongly consider buying anywhere else!

We were recently broken down in Kansas City and Johnny and the entire staff at Mercedes Benz were terrific. It was an extensive repair and they made a very bad situation so much easier. From explaining what was required, what our options were and what the cost would be, to handling the insurance adjuster, to helping us with the car rental, to accommodating us getting stuff out of our van, throughout the process they were amazing. Highly recommend! Wish they were closer so I could work with them for all our maintenance on our Sprinter Van.

Ritchie and the entire team at Mercedes-Benz of Kansas City far exceed customer service levels of any dealership I have ever worked with and truly care about not only their products, workmanship, and services provided, but most importantly - they VALUE their customers. It doesn t matter if you are there for a flat tire, to purchase a new car, lease a car or seeking a used car. There is ZERO pressure and they will help you get into a vehicle that s right for you and your circumstances. Avoid this dealership for used cars, they don't stand behind what they sell.
I bought a used G-Wagon and had it delivered out of state. Given the age (8 years old) and buying this sight unseen, I was very worried about the condition. I read the car fax, asked the salesman a lot of questions to make sure everything was in working order and in condition, and did everything I could to make sure I knew what I was buying.
Either they don't inspect the used vehicles or they lied about the condition. The vehicle received has several undisclosed dents, and substantial rust. I've also now spent over $10k to repair things that were broken upon delivery. When I pushed the dealer about the defects, they offered to pay for a new battery ($445 of the $10k), but none of the other items, and simply said that that it was sold "as is".
I bought this from a Mercedes dealership, not Joe's car lot. I expect them to thoroughly inspect every used car, even if it's not "certified". What I got was someone else's deferred maintenance headache!
It came to me with a bad alternator $1100, bad batteries $445, bad AC condenser (the system already had dye, so someone clearly knew about it) $2500, bad ignition starter $1300, broken rear gate clamps $262, broken driver seat cooler and controls $500, bad front and rear shocks $2000, Bluetooth inop $500 for software update and reset, 3rd party remote start not working $750, illegal tint $600, moisture in break lines $150. And i still have not addressed the rust or the dents.
Bottom line, I will not ever buy a used vehicle from this dealership every again.

I have to say that I am so appreciative to 'Eddie', the young man that picked up my LOANER and brought my car back to me post service. I had left my $2500 hearing aid in the cup holder of the loaner and he called me so I could come back and get it! LIFESAVER!! Anyway, MBKC is the best, this is my 3rd car from them. Once this car is old, I will buy a new one from them! Love em!

I had my car towed to the shop on New Year s Eve and they diagnosed the problem and ordered the VIN specific part that day and had my car finished and detailed by the morning of January third. Johnny Kartsonis was my service advisor and he was he was on point from the first phone call to the last handshake. I will be having all of my service done here.

Exceptional experience. I was greeted by three different employees with a smile and an obvious desire to help me. They started and finished the work on time. They diagnosed and corrected the problem precisely how it needed to be managed. The final bill for the repairs was less than the estimate. Finally, I was informed about the findings and repairs, as well as future service needs, without once feeling I was being sold on doing anything. I am very pleased.

The sales guy that helped us, Brad Fajardo, really was helpful in explaining the car to us and showing us everything it can do. I especially liked that he first asked us questions about what we wanted instead of trying to sell us something. We ended up with exactly what we were looking for and are very happy with the car.

Additionally, I was moving out of town in 2 weeks. Matt got the airbag in the following week and he worked me into the schedule so the work could be completed before I left town. Thanks again Matt!

Great experience with Mercedes-Benz of Kansas City. I had to have my A2 service done on my e-class and all the way from the initial phone call to set up the appointment to the pricing to the service being completed they were awesome. I first spoke with Chris on the phone and he gave me a breakdown of exactly everything that they were going to do and how much it would cost me and even an estimate of how long it would take. I live two hours away so he let me know that I could drop off the evening before and they would put me in a courtesy loaner to avoid having to get up so early to be able to drop it off by 7:30am. When I arrived my service advisor was John Kartsonis due to Chris being booked already. He was really nice he explained to me the process again and made sure that if I had any other questions they were answered before I left. He also went over pricing which came out to be a little bit less than I was initially told which was a plus. The loaner car was readily waiting for me when I arrived also. After having the service completed I went to pick up my car and everything had went great John let me know of anything the service team found anything that needed attention which they did not. I was able to get back into my car and no time and before I left I had them show me another car they had on the lot. I was able to test drive it without any kind of pressure from the salesman. Overall I have a GREAT experience with these guys and I will be going here from now on whenever I need a service done.

Great place for service. Warm, welcoming, and the staff is well trained and the experience shows. They sorted out a problem for me that three other service departments failed to do. I now have great confidence in their abilities. Their prices seem fair, and the follow up is excellent. As special call out to John Kartsonis, Service Advisor. You can sense his authentic care, and you can trust what he tells you. I travel a lot, and have used many other dealerships around the country for service. When possible, I save my service needs for MBKC when I am in KC.

Service rarely answers the phone, takes sometimes more than 24 hrs to call back, took 9 days to replace windshield, replace a key, and to address the information button not working. If that is not bad enough the button still does not work an I'm on my third call this AM trying to make yet another appointment on my day off. My advice is to only use Mercedes Benz of Kansas City if you have a lot of extra time and patience...neither of which I have.

As always, great service - I usually cringe when I have to go to any dealer - knowing I won't get out for under $300 - but must say, their work is always top quality, and they do understand the customer experience -- the "complimentary" car wash/vac while a minimal effort on their part, is a nice touch and appreciated!

Very professional and friendly service. Chris in the service department was efficient and had me back on the road in quickly. When I arrived there was a person to greet me and register my car into the system, another person walked me over to Chris where he took notes and asked if I had any additional questions. They had a loaner car waiting for me when I left Chris's office. Very impressive. This is the top notch kind of service I would expect with my Mercedes.

Flawless execution and easiest car deal we have ever had. I was contacted immediately by our salesman, Chris. The vehicle was clean and ready to test drive the moment we arrived. We were also treated to lunch and were treated as guests throughout the visit. By the time the test drive was over, they provided our quote on the trade as well as applying all rebates/discounts to the new vehicle. We were on our way in about 2 1/2 hours (it took some time to learn about the features on the car.)
These guys could not have done any better.
