Hugh room with cozy decor, valet parking service is excellent, left 3 bottles of water and granola bars! What a pleasant surprise! Definitely will come back.

Great location to nearby grocery shopping if roo.s have kitchen area. Our 1 bedroom was spacious. Guest services has nightly adult DIY things that are fun. Staff was pleasant and knowledgeable.

Horrible experience trying to check-in to this property. I stay at dozens of Marriott Properties to the extent of achieving Elite Status and have never had such a difficult time with the front desk personnel. I understand when you are having a bad day, it is easy to take it out on customers, but please remember, we are the ones paying your paychecks, at the end of the day. Clark was very disrespectful, from beginning to end. We gladly drove another 30 miles in the middle of the night and took our business to another Property that actually appreciated our business.

Great food, Marriott quality accommodations. Very well maintained. Quite expensive overall.

I stayed at the grand residence in spring of 2019 in a two bedroom condo. The hotel has great access to the mountain. However, I ran into many service, safety and security issues during my stay. First, The valet is not set up for the number of guests. It took over 45 minutes to get my car on day one, and one hour and 45 minutes to get my car on day two, all when the hotel suggested 15 minutes advance notice. Second, when checking out, the valet staff put all of my items in a unlocked room in the lobby area. They gave us access to this room with many others completely unprotected. Third and final, there is no lock in the men s and women s locker rooms, and I had a significant theft from a locked locker at this property. What I learned is that the hotel is not responsible for any stolen property on premise. In summary, great location but unsafe environment and therefore I would not be willing to take my family to this location. I am also not convinced the hotel leadership is aware or concerned about the safety issues.

Please stay away from this hotel, its hot the hotel thats bad its the management that is so unprofessional we booked a 2 night stay for new years but due to stay at home order that came out due to covid, we decided not to go, eventually they charged us even after i canceled and they refuse to refund us or even give us another day, they basically took our money and put it in their pocket

Service was great, the rooms were clean and the layout with two bedrooms divided by the living room and kitchen worked out splendidly. however, the bed was not as comfortable as we expected compared to previous Marriott's we stayed in. The shower head could also be better.

Really nice hotel near shops and restaurants. Our room is spacious with all the amenities. Hotel staff is awesome.

Highly recommend a visit to ride the gondola. I was confused finding this place from 35 years ago, but the man outside said "This is it!" for the gondola. A very nice gal at the gondola line explained to me that "None of this existed 35 years ago." So that explained it! What Marriott has built is beautiful and bustling. We came on a Saturday in mid September. Lots of activity, beer tents, and bands. Since I was staying in North Tahoe this time, I wanted my friend to see "Heavenly" where I was before. The gondola ride is very special. Views stunning. At the top is an Adventure Park for all ages. My friend wants to bring her children/grandchildren. Lake Tahoe is a wonderful place to vacation. We LOVED it!

A great time with plenty to do and top notch customer service thru out the resort village here. Definitely coming again soon!

A Nice relaxing hotel. Only down side is parking $29 a day.

Do not leave personal items in trust of their valet service. The Towne Park employees were left to take care of my luggage and an $800 camera was stolen out of my bag. I have not seen any sort of reimbursement for this. TERRIBLY IRRESONSIBLE.

Marriott never fails to impress! The lobby is very elegant and welcoming. Conveniently located on the border of Nevada and California, you're just walking distance from gambling, shopping, restaurants, Northstar Village. Nearby beaches such as Regan Beach, Nevada beach, and Pines beach.

Great setup here, next to the gondola and ski rental, supermarket next door. Great for families that want to cook their own food. Staff cleaned dishes every morning. I will be back.

The Grand Residence is the epitome of time shares in South Lake Tahoe. Great location near to the lake and great amenities. Movie theater is next to it as well as a shopping center directly located across the street. Walking distance to the Heavenly chair lift for skiers as well as Harrah's Casino and Harvey's Casino. If you enjoy being in the heart of South Lake Tahoe, Grand Residences by Marriott is it.

Our one bedroom unit is great for the four of us. There is a sofa bed and a Murphy bed in the living room and a king size bed in the bedroom. Our unit has a complete kitchen with granite countertops and two fireplaces, one each in the living room and bedroom.

I am a Marriott points owner for their timeshare and have never been disappointed. Marriott has locations everywhere we want to go.

Great place at South Shore. Next to the Gondola and steps from the casinos. Rooms are really nice with lots of amenities.

Gorgeous rooms, beautiful pool, great view. So much to do in Heavenly Village. Easy access to the Mountain, which has a lot to do in winter and summer. Short walk to beach and hotel gives you free passes. Lots of activities to do for all ages. Can't wait to go back someday

For the price, cannot beat the location and the amenities! I am definitely used to paying more for ski in ski out access at a large resort for just basic accommodations, but here, I stayed in the studio with a kitchen and a bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub for 140/night, just steps from heavenly gondola. Nicely appointed condos with everything...

This is a beautiful resort surrounded by spectacular views and so many things to do. The rooms are well layed out and I just love having a fireplace in the bedroom and front room.

A great location with quality restaurants and shops!

For being a 4 star resort, my wife and me were very disappointed. The room description was misleading, few amenaties are offered, and I would not recommend this hotel. You can do better elsewhere. Some of the staff was also very rude and we made the decision to leave early.

The stay itself was nice, however money is all that matters to this Marriott location. I needed to leave a day early due to storm that was hitting the area Sunday evening. I wanted to make it home safely and leaving on Monday would have been dangerous. I checked out before 3pm on Sunday and was told by the check out person that I would receive a full refund for the unstayed night. He said I just needed to call and it would not be an issue. I spent 2 hours on the phone only to have the manager, Nate, tell me a refund was not possible because house keeping could not get to my room in time... so I guess their schedule is my fault and cost me $319. He said he had to make sure the owners got their money. Will never stay with Marriott again.

Beds are a bit firm, and all the kitchen utensils weren't there but overall a good place.

Decent Place to stay, BUT Do Not give them your real Phone number!! Your number will be used for promotions and time share sales and Sold to other resorts. Seriously, I stayed here in September, and ever since I get 3-4 calls a day from Marriott & now Wyndham wanting to give me a free stay if I spend 90 minutes in a Time Share sales presentation. Pressing 2 to be added to the do not call list will not work!!!!

It is a great place to relax and have fun with family. Very spacious rooms and good facilities. My kids had a good time during our stay here.

The Grand Residences by Marriott at Lake Tahoe is the perfect place to stay when visiting Heavenly Ski Resort

Holy molly this place is beautiful and has activities for everyone, never a dull moment.

We stay at the Grand Residences every summer for a week and love it here. Great pools, lake and hikes for my wife and 2 kids ( 5 & 7 ). If you ask, you can also get access to Timber Lodge pool too.

Almost perfect ... wish they had some sort of mini convenience store at lobby ... great service ... definitely better fit for residence owners

Super quiet and relaxing place to stay. Right in the middle of Heavenly Village so it's in a perfect location. Great pool and hot tubs.

Although it s in a pretty busy location, you re really close to a mall, lots of shops, restaurants, etc. We were lucky enough to get a one-bedroom with not one, but two bathrooms. The kitchen was new with modern appliances. There was a spa bathtub in one of our bathrooms. All your essential amenities are there; nice pool (only 4ft deep!) with poolside service, gym, spa, etc. It s very kid-friendly (the staff put up with a few tantrums). What s really nice are The Shops at Heavenly Village are right next door, so you have really close access to bars, restaurants, stores, mini golf, the Loft theater, the gondolas, etc.

Awesome renovated rooms with full kitchen, definitely adding this to my go to spots for trips to South Lake Tahoe. Very quiet and clean. The staff are great and the valets are all speedy and keep your car sanitized.

Absolutely wonderful!!! Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable!!!! The bedroom is fantastic and living room is amazing!!!! They have jacuzzi tubs!!!!

I booked it through Marriot app. I thought it was a Marriott hotel, but when I checked in, I was told by the front desk that it was not a real Marriott and therefore it does not follow the Marriott rules such as allowing gold member to have early check in or late check.out. Further, for a $480/night room, I was expecting some bath robes or slippers (like Marriott everywhere else), but my room didn't provide any of this. I called the front desk to ask. Again, the answer is we are not real Marriott and we don't follow Marriott standard. This answer was disappointing, because I booked through Marriott app. AND the hotel has Marriott name in it.
Overall, I felt cheated throughout my stay.

Great place. But I recommend you only stay for the weekend. We had problems with the hot water and then we could not get hot water for the whole trip. It is tolerable for only a couple days.

A stellar choice! Next to the Heavenly Gondola lift. Free washer/dryer. Tons of social activities with tons of freebies like free alcohol, and in the morning fresh coffee in the lobby. The spa is heated to the perfect not too hot, not too cold temperature. The staff is super helpful. The only negatives are they do try to push the timeshares/join the vacation club (leaves voicemail, flyers in your place) and their WiFi (Ruckus-powered) is not Android friendly.

Just arrived but we were very pleased with the size of our studio and all the amenities you have. Room is very clean. They have valet parking which I do not like but at least all the boys were very nice and efficient.

Nate the Great and Kelsey were awesome on my recent stay. Clean, beautifully furnished rooms and a sweet staff. I'm a long-time returning guest and cherish my time at the Grand Residences every time. It's my home away from home. They never hesitate to help and make your stay a beautiful one. I can't wait to return again!!! The beach is a nice short walk. Shops and restaurants surround the area. Highly recommended.

We spent eight nights here whilst skiing and absolutely loved it!!!

The location and facilities here are the big draw card! The location is just perfect, right next to the Heavenly Gondola. You literally wake up in the morning, but on your ski clothes and stroll onto the gondola. When you have accommodation at the Marriott there is even a valet service for your skis!!!

The rooms are nicely appointed as well, including with facilities for cooking. We cooked each night and there was more than enough facilities and implements for our family of five. There is also a Raleys across the road which is perfect for grabbing food for alcohol.

There is onsite parking for $29 as well.

Our family loved our stay, we will be back!!!

I'm giving them a five star because their ladies and gentlemens were more interactive and more welcoming then Timber lodge next door. I originally thought they were the same entrance so I went to the timber lodge instead. Their valet team did not welcome us instead went straight into getting my information for my car. Upon check in at the desk they couldn't find my reservation (because I booked at the Grand Residence). Immediately the agent just told me they don't have a reservation under my name. Confused because the valet person told me my room was already to check in. I told her 3 times if she want my confirmation number. She just kinda ignore me and said she doesn't have my name. Then finally after ignoring me she then ask for my confirmation number then told me it's next door. I know we're wearing mask and can't see any facial expression but, wow I didn't feel any type of hospitality. So I'd assumed it would be the same at the Grand Residence. Immediately when I drove up to valet they welcomed us and explained the whole process of retrieving our car unlike their neighbor. Then at check in even the FD, HSK, and every other employee I contacted with had way more hospitality than their neighbor.

Was just visiting Lake Tahoe for a day trip and just had lunch outside the hotel.

Enjoyed the hotel but was disappointed that the staff didn t promptly mail a piece of correspondence I asked them to mail and, instead, let it sit in their outbox for a few days. If the hotel batches guest mail and sends it at the end of the week, a heads-up would ve been thoughtful and appreciated ( This won t go out until Friday. Is that okay? ). I would ve said no, driven over to the Post Office, and mailed it myself. Sometimes it s the little things that count. That mail delay cost me.

Location is super convenient. It s in the heart of south lake tahoe. restaurants, starbucks, cold stone are all in the same plaza. For covid preparation, it s pretty clean! No daily housekeeping due to Covid, which is actually good to feel safer. The only drawback is that it s valet parking only. The price is just $29. But feel a little unsafe since your car is driven by others. The staff did wear mask and gloves though. Will be nice to open for self parking due to the covid concerns.

Fantastic Experience! We could see the Gondola to Heavenly Ski Resort right below our view from the 5th floor. Our 2 story room was amazing with 2 bedrooms and 2 nice Coach pullout beds. It was surprising to see memory foam in a pullout coach bed but add that to the list of reasons why you should stay here. Great jacuzzi and pool plenty warm enough. Friendly service.

Location is perfect for skiers with the gondola just a short walk away. Heated pool and outdoor spa is wonderful and great winter setting. We did not stay at the resort but were visiting friends who were resort guests.

It's a really nice hotel, has everything you will need. Very luxurious and accomodating. Loved the time spent at the hotel.

Cleanliness in one bedroom not acceptable. Several small maintenance issues. But were repaired right away . No directory to provide instructions for tv, Trash disposal etc. Need to call desk for help.
Otherwise very nice accomodations. Front desk and others very friendly and helpful.
