Highly recommend a visit to ride the gondola. I was confused finding this place from 35 years ago, but the man outside said "This is it!" for the gondola. A very nice gal at the gondola line explained to me that "None of this existed 35 years ago." So that explained it! What Marriott has built is beautiful and bustling. We came on a Saturday in mid September. Lots of activity, beer tents, and bands. Since I was staying in North Tahoe this time, I wanted my friend to see "Heavenly" where I was before. The gondola ride is very special. Views stunning. At the top is an Adventure Park for all ages. My friend wants to bring her children/grandchildren. Lake Tahoe is a wonderful place to vacation. We LOVED it!
