DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! We ordered a tumble dryer from Marks in September, and there was nothing wrong with the process delivery etc., hence why they have mostly good reviews. Unfortunately the tumble dryer they supplied was faulty - it was condensating all around the door and over the control panel. As soon as we noticed this issue (which was within a few days of delivery) we asked them to refund or replace it - they point blank refused and claimed it is their right to send an engineer to check it first. This was a breach of consumer law as we were within the initial 28 day period. We reluctantly let them send an engineer over (Monday to Friday only so a day off work required), who replaced the inner tube and said that should fix it. Unfortunately we still had the same issue, spoke to Marks again who claimed because we had signed it off as fixed (this never happened because I wasn't able to test it with the engineer still there) that they still wouldn't refund or replace it. So again we had to get another engineer round who confirmed the machine itself is faulty and reminded us that the company was in breach of the law by refusing to refund the product. In the end we have claimed the money back from our credit card company. The people that work in their customer sales team are ignorant, untrained and rude. If you are unfortunate enough to have an issue with any of their products then best of luck to you!
