After placing an order for a standard hotpoint fridge freezer on the 21/08/2018, the estimated delivery date from the manufacturer was 04/09/2018. After these 2 weeks had passed, I then received another email on the 05/09/2018, stating the new delivery date was 14/09/2018, taking the total time to 4 weeks. On the 14/09/2018 I had heard nothing from Marks Electrical, so I decided to contact them and they could not guarantee when I will have the fridge freezer, even after 4 weeks. I was told over the phone on the 14/09/2018 that I will receive an update of my order by email that day. After still not hearing anything from them by the 21/09/2018, I called them to find out an update, but still Marks Electrical could not guarantee when it would be delivered, even after 5 weeks! I decided to cancel the order as the situation could have gone on for months! Disappointed to be lead on, especially when I ordered the same fridge freezer from another store, and was delivered from the manufacturer to store and then to my house within 6 days. Please be honest to customers and do not lead people on with dates that are not met. More than 5 weeks for a fridge freezer is unacceptable. Luckily enough I received a full refund.
