I bought a used Ford Explorer and less then 3 months the water pump goes out and it had 121xxx mileage and as is and the dealer says well it said as is . I ve only done one payment and now I had a 2,024 dollar service bill to get it fixed my self.
My wife and myself had a wonderful experience at the dealership. We could not have been any more pleased with the help that we received from Vanessa. We had visited the dealership earlier in the day that we first started looking at the automobiles on the lot. We left after meeting Vanessa and went to several other dealerships in the area. We found a Mustang at another dealership. After we left that dealership, my said that if we were going to buy a Mustang, she liked Vanessa at Legacy and that she wanted to do business with her. Well our dealings went on for a week. At one point we thought that we would postpone buying until later in the year. Well the next day I was back on the phone to Vanessa to see if there was anything else that she could do for us, and she did. She worked with us and the manager(s) to help us get the car that we wanted. Everyone else that was involved treated us both very good. We just can t say enough about our experience with Legacy and their employees.

The Service Center has worked twice on my car, they ve been clear about their availability to work on it and they schedule with you an appointment. Very satisfied with their work, knowledge and accuracy. Ron has kept me informed on all work and is my go to person .

This is equally applied to both Ford owners as well as those of us who also own other automobile makes and models. Nice knowledgeable service attendant. We still had to wait most of the day for our vehicle. The waiting room is not very comfortable,there are no freebies water, popcorn, doughnuts or coffee. At least nothing was offered to us.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience with the team at Legacy. Unlike many places that are solely focused on upselling, the team at Legacy took the time to hear us regarding what we NEEDED. Their sales department made us feel high priority without smothering us or seeming disingenuous. The finance rep was transparent and helpful, and helped us walk away fully understanding and HAPPY with our purchase.
Everyone at Legacy Ford was very friendly & helpful. On our way in we were greeted & we told them we were looking for Jacob Underwood. The gentleman redirected us & took us on a short cut. He showed us where to wait & paged Jacob.
I had worked with Jacob through text & email. He always replied quickly & went the extra mile. Once we had chosen the vehicle & worked on the price, we set up a closing appointment. I had a very frustrating experience with the credit bureau, which he took extra steps to see if he could help. I had requested a quick closing because time off work is difficult for my husband & we were going to have a 1 1/2 hr drive to reach them. Terms had been worked out prior to us arriving & Stephen R in finance was very pleasant to deal with because he took time to explain everything & make sure we had terms we could deal with. We also had brief interactions with Paul concerning a bed cover & spray-on liner. He was going to order it & complete the work on Tuesday, our choice. The thing that took the longest was my husband took the truck for a test drive & got stuck in traffic.
We have bought several Ford's in our lifetime & this was by far the absolute BEST experience we've ever had hands down with any dealer. We will definitely be back & highly recommend them.
FYI, we have a dealer much closer to us but they didn't have any inventory for what we were looking for & Legacy Ford had several options. We'll worth the drive for us!!!
They did everything to satisfy my needs of vehicle preference and monthly payment. I love my new truck. UPDATE: Here I am 5 months later already paying hundreds and hundreds of dollars out of my own pocket to fix a problem on my Brand New over 55k truck. A problem that is NOT covered they said by the warranty! WOW! I have bought many vehicles here in the past 10 years but I feel like my relationship with Ford has come to an end. Thank you.

I took my vehicle in on 10/02/2018. I received a week and half later. My service adviser did not keep me updated as expected. When I received my truck back after requested services were completed. I spoke with the service manager and the adviser and explained to them that the way my situation was handled is not good for business.The adage of the customer is always right may not be true, but when you are not forthcoming with the customer it gives leaves a bad taste in their mouths. I found that my fluid levels was not filled as stated on the receipt. I do appreciate that Legacy Ford covered the rental fee. I am on my third trip dealership to rectify that was not done the first time. Oh! I was also told an appointment is not an appointment for service but it is for you to bring your vehicle in. That was a bunch of bologna. I understand being busy but this is not my first uncomfortable interaction with services at Legacy Ford.
This is the 2nd time in 2 months that Legacy has charged my credit card without permission for rental car fees while my vehicle is in the shop getting warranty repairs. The most recent time the service manager assured me that Ford would cover the cost of loaner vehicle (which is not in any way a comparable vehicle) while my vehicle was getting warranty service. However they ended up charging me anyway; which I only noticed after the charges hit my credit card. There will be further complaint filed not only for this most recent experience but for the previous as well. Don't trust them for their word.
Not too happy about it. My warranty had expired only 5 days ago and had to pay for the full price on a battery for my Ford Taurus.
If I could give them zero stars I would! I went to see a specific car and another couple was considering . Cesar started the paperwork in the case the other couple didn t purchase the vehicle . I specifically told him I didn t want my credit ran until we knew this was going to happen. He emphasized it wouldn t be touched until it was a set deal. We talked about numbers but the couple before decided to go with the car. I leave . And get notifications that my credit was still ran! I called them back and they told me it wasn t suppose to but he didn t know what happened . They ran my credit without my authorization and my credit has an inquiry hit due to these fraudulent sales people. I told him I was going to complain to The BBB and he text me asking if I wanted a copy of my application . Like it was a joke .

I was very upset how my wife was treated when she took our escape to the dealer for a oil change which was suppose to be free because of a recent visit to your service department. Your staff told her she could not get the free oil change because we had not done a feed back survey. This was after a manager had called me back a month are two a told me he was offering a free oil change to us for the long period of time it took to get are car back from the last service there. He did not say anything about another survey only that we could bring it in on the next schedule oil change. To top it off they did not give my wife a service recipe for her visit. We are currently looking to buy a ford ranger in the next couple of months and up to now most of my cars were purchased from your dealer, but now not to sure after this last mess up. Thanks Robert
I purchased a 2005 F-150 about 9 years ago from Helfman Ford. I moved to Rosenberg and had an issue with the driver side power window. It basically just fell to the bottom and I was unable to lift it back up so my window was open the entire time. I took it to Legacy Ford in about 2009 (because I bought the extra warranty) and had to pay the deductible for using my warranty. The window was working for about 2 days and then it happened again. I went back and they told me something else was wrong with the window and what they fixed was not the issue. They said for me not to use the warranty because it was cheaper just paying it out of pocket. It was only about a $5 savings but afterwards I realized, they just didn't want the warranty to notice they were billing them for same exact issue.
The reason I'm writing is because it left a bitter taste in my mouth and I am now trying to give them a chance to redeem themselves. I called the service department and she said i'll be right back. After 13 minutes on hold, I was routed to an answering machine. SMH. Glad I didn't give them a 2nd chance!
Recently, I had a taillight issue. Valentine made sure I had a rental right away so that i was in a safe car to drive in the dark. My car was diagnosed and repaired in a timely manner. Great service experience!
My review is for the service department only.
I went to the service department for an oil leak in my rear main seal, during the course of the approximately 11 visits for this issue, they kept finding "other leaks" to blame, mostly oil rings or turbo lines, and twice they blamed the same part already fixed. The remainder of the issues were created by Legacy Ford themselves. One repair wasn't properly sealed afterwards, another time a "faulty gasket" was the cause (Being in a quality engineering field, my job is generally to make sure everything runs smoothly and parts and equipment are maintained and work properly, however it seems this job doesn't exist here). Finally, when I got the truck back the 8th time, my wife took it one night to go to the store down the road, we live off 99 where we have suicide merger lanes I call them (If you live on 99 you know what I'm talking about, every merger into the highway becomes a desperate struggle for survival during peak hours), she accelerated to speed and she told me the truck began to shudder and wouldn't speed up fast enough, which almost caused her and my 2 year old son to be in an accident. Turns out, Legacy Ford couldn't be bothered to make sure the Cam Positioning Sensor was working properly after they re-installed my rear main seal for the second time.
I could keep giving details, but you guys get the idea of the situation by now. Now, people make mistakes. No one is perfect, mechanics get overworked and under paid, I get it. But here is the reason for the 2 star review, At no point during my conversations with Gerald (Service dpt director) was he even polite to me, let alone apologetic for the issues they themselves caused. Not during my phone calls to Thomas the assistant manager, did he ever apologize or even attempt to try and make up for the trouble and aggravation this process was becoming. Not even during my phone call with Patrick Sexton did he even bother to apologize for the danger or try and make anything right to a customer who was not only coming to their dealership, but at that point had spent over $1,000 in self requested parts and maintenance, aside from the warranty repairs. Mr Sexton, DID try and convince me to trade in my truck to his dealership and "would make me a great deal" on a new one. So... He doesn't care my wife and son were nearly killed by his incompetent service department, he didn't care that his Service Department Manager has the social skills of the below-average DPS workers. he didn't even care that I had been there a dozen times and had tried to contact him several times before only to never get a response. He only cared when I threatened to files complaints with the BBB, TDS and Ford Motor. Only then did I get a call back, and even then he called on a Friday, and promised me a call back on Monday to talk about the issues and come to a resolution, a call back which has yet to happen after a month of waiting.
When you walk into the Service area here, they have their customer reviews plastered all over the walls, which they seem proud of, ironically I must have just not been someone who seemed like they would review the place, because I honestly think they don't have much respect or regard for their customers at all.
The only reason for the couple of stars and the only positive thing I will say is that Valentine, a service tech here, is one of the nicest people I think I have ever met in my life. I genuinely like the guy and making small talk about his kids, or his love of Star Wars while I was waiting for the morons in the back to come up with a new excuse for the reason my truck wasn't fixed (tiny unicorns in the turbo line punching holes, metal eating termites chewing through the block, ect..ect.) was the only thing that kept my mood up or me from being an absolute jerk to everyone in there. Should anyone from Legacy Ford management read this and care, I suggest considering him for a better position immediately, introducing him into management and having him dictate the areas behavior would go a long way for customer satisfaction.
Best Dealership in Houston and surrounding area. Sales and management take pride in their work. They got me in and out with no hiccups and the vehicle was in amazing shape, I will recommend all my family and family to Legacy Ford.

Bought both cars I've owned here. Secound time I bought a car less than 2 years ago it was supposed to have a 172 point inspection. They said it did and all new tires. Come to find out a few days later as things are being noticed that weather stripping was peeling off the car and flapping in the breeze, the main usb port didn't even have the metal part inside to charge things. Like it was completely missing. And the car would randomly lurch forward and come to find out that was a problem with a lot of fords at the time.iAnd a week later a tire popped and come to find out from AAA that they were most certainly not new tires. So they made the experience of getting a car terrible by lying to me. There is no way they did a 172 point inspection with all that wrong with it and they didn't have to lie about the tires. I would have been a life long customer . As this was the secound car i got there and only my secound car ever as well. I loved this place until then and only ever brought my car there to be serviced and had a good relationship with one of the service lady. Now I go elsewere when somethings broken and only go for the oil changes I bought with my car. They made something that was supposed to be a happy moment in my life terrible.
