This is the best camp I have ever been to. My son has Cerebral Palsy and this is his 6th year attending Victory Junctions Cerebral Palsy camp. He begins to ask to go to camp the day we leave and doesn't stop asking till the next year when we drop him off. I was so scared to send him his first year bc ne was so fragile and needed so much care. But Amy Jo and other parents whose children had been before kept encouraging me to let him go. He loves everything including the staff, counselors volunteers, the many friends who come back to camp year after year. He loves cars and the Nascar theme makes him love the camp even more. They love to keep the kids busy with activities such as archery, fishing, paddleboarding, bowling, watching movies, doing make overs, watching movies, eating Krispy cream donuts, meeting the pit crew and changing tires, hot airballoons, the water park, equestrian center to ride horses and much much much much more. I am grateful for Victory Junction.

I don t have enough words to adequately express my appreciation, admiration, and excitement for this camp. They give kids a week they will cherish all year long. A week to make the most out of the disease or diability that typically holds them back all while being surrounded by children just like them. This camp pushes them forward by focusing on their strengths rather than their limitations. The medical team provide complex medications and treatments just as if the children were at home. The focus is not on these things. The focus is on fun. BIG fun!! These kids get to be part of a team while being surrounded and encouraged by amazing, motivated camp staff. My son says it is the most amazing days of his life. He hates to see it end and counts the days until he can return. I could not possible give back to this camp what they have given to my family. There are not enough stars to be rated nor enough words of praise that could be said. This camp takes it to the next level. There is just nothing else like it!

One of the best camps I have seen, the staff is extremely polite and kind... made my 8 year old feel right at home. The facilities and atmosphere are top notch, great community of fun and activities. My son said the food is great, the counselors were so nice and a big part of enjoyment... he enjoyed swimming, archery, horse riding, bowling etc. As a parent I am so grateful for Victory Junction, their business is a force for good... we hope to be back again next year!

Friendly staff and nice facilities are what I found here. I was elected to deliver tables for a private function in the Spiritual Center. All of the staff that I came in contact with while setting up tables were professional and nice enough to help me find my way.

My late mother spent multiple summers here (04-06), and I know she absolutely loved every minute of it. It truly was one of her most proud accomplishments. She made great friends during her time here. I hope to one day follow in her footsteps, and spend some time with this great organization

Victory Junction Camp is an awesome place to be a camper or a volunteer. The family weekends and summer week long camps are fun and life changing for the campers, as well as, the volunteers. I been serving as a volunteer since 2010.

I volunteer at VJ on family weekends. The families I meet there are living with a child with health issues. The time they spend here is a chance for the whole family to to have an awesome experience playing together in a medically safe environment.

This camp provides a chance for children to see that even though they have physical disabilities they can still be children. My daughter has Type 1 diabetes and was starting to suffer from anxiety and mild depression from the fact that she's not around many other children with this disease. Before she left she had become some-what introverted and only wanted to spend time with family, however, upon entering this camp we noticed a significant change in her personality and fears. After her time at camp she has spoke non-stop about her experiences and her fears, depression, and anxiety have greatly improved, she left home afraid of what the future held and not really seeing that she wasn't alone in dealing with this disease, she then came home feeling more secure and unafraid of what the future holds for her. This camp preforms miracles, they give hope and friendship to children who the outside world show pity and say things that no child should ever hear, especially when it comes to Type 1 and the many misconceptions, this camp breaks those fears for these children and give them the time of their lives! My daughter did things that I never imagined she would at camp, made tons of friends that she is still in contact with via telephone, and we plan to meet up with the other families of the children she made friends with so that they can all benefit long past Victory Junction! I am also really surprised at the guests that came and visited our children and very grateful to the Petty family for showing my child that even with this invasive disease she can still be her old self, the person she used to be before onset of diabetes and I feel as if I got my old carefree child back! I will forever be grateful for the experiences my child shared, the friends she's made, and the chance to see that there are many other children facing some of the same issues as she does! I would completely recommend this camp to any family of a child with disabilities, you will see a whole new child once they come back home, yes leaving them is scary, I literally had an anxiety attack from leaving her behind but now I know it was 110% worth it and would definitely allow my child to go back in the future. Also the staff there is amazing, they work so very hard to keep your child's mind off their disease, show them a fantastic time, and fun that last all day long, not to mention they are extremely knowledgeable and willing to do whatever it takes to keep your child safe and healthy at camp with minimal intrusion to their daily activities, and VERY thorough in learning you child's particular healthcare routines and issues that could arise and how you and your specialist want those issues handled, plus at the end of camp they provide a VERY detailed medical report along with a short summary of activities your child excelled in! This camp was one of the best decisions we have ever made for our daughter and her mental wellbeing along with a fun experience where she was the norm!

I have been following Victory Junction for years on social media and always had a deep appreciation for the work this amazing group of volunteers does on a daily basis. However, the tour I got of the camp from Nicole simply touched my heart. I can write endless wonderful things about the camp, its layout and the volunteers but I could never do it justice. Go. Go and get a tour. If this doesn't melt your heart....well then you don't have one.

Very neat place for children with needs. They can camp at no cost due to generous contributions from corporations as well as people like you and me. If you're looking for a non-profit to donate to, this would be a good one.

I came here as a camper for nine years and it was honestly the best experience of my life. The campers, employees, and volunteers truly make every week at camp magical and memorable. If you are looking for a place to send your child to or a great organization to support I can not recommend this place enough.

One of the most magical places on earth. I attended with my oldest son the 2nd and 3rd years they were open and had the most amazing experiences. I m happy my 12 & 9 year olds have been able to attend the past 3 years. The camp is bright, happy and super clean. There are a TON of various activities for kids of all levels to participate in. I m grateful there is a specialized camp like this for kids with medical needs. I m also grateful to the staff, bikers and camp volunteers who make it happen. Thanks Petty family
