I tried to buy a car from Michael. He presented me with a worksheet (wasn't able to attach the photo, was hoping to get someone to explain it to me :)) and marked it with numbers, letters, arrows and acronyms that made no sense. And when I asked questions, doubletalk was the response. I bought the same make and model Jetta in WA state and drove it 1,500 miles in 23 hours back to AZ. Thanks anyway :( In the future, make it simple- price of car, tax, title, license and doc fees.

A+ Volkswagen Dealership! Every time I visit this store, I get the friendliest welcome and top notch service. I recently took my Passat in for service and Barbara went above and beyond to make sure my car was serviced properly and in a timely manner. These guys and gals get it! Thank you!

My daughter and I were traveling across country and began to have trouble with my car. Mr. Erickson in the service department was friendly, professional and assisted us without hesitation. I was continually updated and within a few hours, we were back on the road. Larry H. Miller VW Avondale exceeded my expectations and saved our trip while repairing my car that now runs better than ever. I highly recommend their service and staff.

This place is amazing. I have always gone to another store here in the Valley (lunde)but they couldnt get me in. Mike Erickson was able to get me in same day and luckily were able to complete my vehicle and get me back on the road quickly. They have definitely earned a new customer for life! They dont play any games and are very upfront about what to expect during the process which I appreciate. It was also awesome to hear how much Volkswagen s warranty saved me money. Ive never been shown that before. They are all very friendly and it just seems like a great atmosphere...you can tell because all the employees are smiling. Thanks again Larry Miller Volkswagen...you saved me!

I took my 07 passat in at the end of last year (September I believe) for a transmission service as requested from the place I had purchased it from. The gentleman at the desk seemed nice. While waiting they tell me the cabin filter is bad, I agree to change it so no biggie. Nearly 6 hours later, I'm told your car is ready, here is your bill (which I may add was hundreds of $dollar's$), and a break down of all the repairs needed on your car (which was in the ballpark of $10,000.00) I was completely astounded at the price, but i knew it needed to be done so I paid it. Roughly a week later my dad put my car on the lift to change the motor oil for me and immediately called me out. It appeared my transmission was never serviced. My car came up from Rocky Point, so there was sand all over the underneath. We lowered the car to grab my paperwork from the dealer and the repair order I signed said fluid and filter change, I was charged for a fluid flush/change only (which I failed to catch at the dealer before I left) well, the drainplug nor pan was never touches, still caked with sand. Immediately I took pictures. My dad puts a wrench on the plug and immediately sand and debris fall from the plug. Fluid begins to seep out as black as a neglected diesel trucks motor oil and thick like tar. The smell was absolutely disgusting, the worst burnt oil I've ever witnessed. Again, I snapped some pictures. We immediately make some calls to a personal friend/head licensed and certified mechanic to come by. His first words was, "you got scammed out of money, this car was never touched as far as the transmission goes, and I'll bet my entire shop on that! You need to call BBB and your attorney!" Well, I decided to approach the dealership to make it right, and to let them know the mechanics are screwing customers over. I was completely shocked at the attitude I received from the supervisor who returned my call. I was treated like a "ignorant female". I will admit, they DID refund my money in full.... after a heck of an argument. No formal apology, no nothing. The first option was for me to bring the car back and they will do another fluid change on it. I point blank told them that I do not trust them at this point not to mention I had to take a day off work what shorts my check nearly $150 because I don't have paid leave plus a two-hour drive and Fuel and lunch I don't have that kind of money then to just sit in a dealership for another 6 hours well I get cheated. I do give a dealership credit for refunding my money in full but even though it's been a year I'm still extremely disappointed and how everything was handled and everything that was done and the way I was treated. Now I have an active recall on my car and this is the closest dealership to me but I'm absolutely petrified to take my car to this dealer. I grew up working on cars as well as heavy equipment so I'm not just an ordinary girl and I absolutely despise being talked down to because I am a girl. I just feel my experience needs to be shared

I was pretty disappointed when the fuel pump on my 2012 CC went out only 5 days after I purchased it but the Service manager/writer made the bad experience into a relatively pleasant one by being very professional, pleasant and most accommodating. Less than 24 hours later the problem was taken care of and when I returned the loaner to pick up my car I found that he was able to take care of another small issue as well. I have been in the automobile industry for 37 years and have always considered my customer care skills to be exemplary but I definitely found my match!
Thanks Brad, Hollywood Leary

I am in and out of a lot of dealerships because of my job (disclosure: I work with VW dealers.) That said, I chose Larry Miller VW because I felt they would not only take care of me in a truly exceptional way, but they would also take care of my WIFE. My last experience in service is a great example. Victor in Sales and Duane in Servie helped my wife with the issue we had with our Routan, helped her move the car seat for our child, and got her into a loaner vehicle in less than 25 minutes. When the job was completed, she got a phone call, and they ahd fixed everything under warranty, helped her again make the swap, and she was out the door in a nicely cleaned car.

I have a choice -- and LM VW exceeded even my expectations. If you're looking for service that you can trust to take care of your car, AND your family, consider Larry Miller.

The negative stigma about car salesmen was just co...

The negative stigma about car salesmen was just confirmed for me when I attempted to purchase a new car from Larry Miller VW. I'm a very busy person and in an effort to save myself time and energy I went online to make sure that this dealership had the car I was looking to purchase available. Not only was it available but it was listed with a special internet price for $30,276. I contacted the dealership by phone, again in an effort to save myself time, and asked to speak with a sales manager. The man who answered the phone, by the name of Justin, said he was a sales manager and asked how he could help me. I told him that I had seen this specific vehicle online listed for the "internet sales price" and told him that I wanted to buy the car and that I wanted to pay $31,000 out the door with tax, title, license and an extended warranty and asked him if he could do it. He told me that he wasn't going to lose the sale of a car over price and then told me that in order to get it to that price I would need to put a substantial amount down.
Maybe I'm crazy, but my understanding of his statement was that he was willing to sell me the car for that amount as long I wasn't asking to finance the whole amount and that it would require a large down payment. I didn't have any issue with this since I intended on paying cash for the car and had no intention of financing the vehicle to begin with. Justin seemed very accommodating, and even told me it would be possible to have the vehicle I wanted in the color I wanted shipped to them from their sister dealership in Tucson.
So just to be clear, what I asked for, and what I was very clear about was that I wanted to pay $31,000 for the vehicle that was listed with an online sales price of $30,276, which would include the price of the vehicle, the sales tax, license cost and any other fees and the extended warranty. When I say out the door, that is what I mean, and I'm positive that is what anyone else would understand it to mean as well. And that is what the sales manager Justin agreed to, so I went to the bank, got a cashier s check for the agreed upon amount and headed down the dealership. When I got there though, ready to sign the paperwork on the sale of the vehicle, this is not what happened. According to sales manager Justin, when he said I would have to put a substantial amount down in order to get it to $31,000, what he meant, and what I was supposed to understand, was that I would be paying the internet price of $30,276 plus an additional $724 just for shits and giggle, and on top of that, I would also pay an additional $2500 for the tax, who knows what for the license/title and other fees, and even more for the extended warranty. SERIOUSLY???? Why would I pay $724 more than a listed sales price AND even more for the tax, title, license and then the extended warranty???
When he said this to me, and I told him what was said during our phone conversation, he not so nicely told me that he had our call recorded. GREAT!! Since you have the call recorded, then we should be able to play back the call and hear exactly what it was that I told you, and what you agreed to. I was very eager to hear the call and asked him to pull the recording.... at which time he then told me that he had other customer's waiting and didn't have time right now to find the call. That it would take at least 15 minutes to locate it, so he would have to email it to me later. (I wonder if I will ever actually get and email with the call) He said he was an honest straight shooter who wouldn't lose a sale over price but at this point didn't want to waste any more of my time. Really? You shouldn't have wasted my time in the first place, and even though you say you won't lose a sale over price, you just did. Complete contradiction! Congratulations Justin, you have just lived up to every bad thing ever said about car salesmen.

NO STARS! I am literally in tears! I would not recommend this dealership to anyone! The disappointment never ends! I found the car I liked and when I test drove it it was making a strange noise I asked the sales person what that was and he said it was a lifter and it was making that noise because it was "gummed up" he said the previous owners had not driven it enough to blow out the muck. I had brought a mechanic with me that was hesitant and continued to question the noise and the severity of the possibilities if the dealership was not correct about the prognosis of the noise-every time I was assured it would "go away in time" Well it did when the car stranded me and my two children just days after the purchase! I was stranded on Washington and 35th ave.(not a good place to be with two children one under two years old alone after dark without a car over 100 miles away from home) I had to hitch hike to a safer location pushing a baby stroller. I had called the dealership that night letting them know the car broke down and received no offer to pick up the vehicle. When I made it home I brought my own truck and trailer 116 miles to pick up the car, then returned the 116 miles to the dealership that Monday (for a total of 348 miles), when dropping off the car the service men slashed the side wall of the front passenger tire on my trailers wheel cover and broke the trailers wheel cover causing it to hit the trailer tire damaging it as well.(I brought this to one of the employees attention that was unloading the car he said the car tire was not loosing air and that they would address it.) I dropped the car off and met with the sales manager and someone from the service department that assured me the car would be looked at the following day-I called the next day after one pm and the car had not been looked at, the next day (now Wednesday) I received a call stating that the lifter had "BLOWN UP" and that the car needed a new engine- I was assured that the dealership was going to cover all the fees for this. I let them know I had spent a-lot of money towing the car and asked for a reimbursement-I was told they were putting a new engine in the car and that was it. The car had 23 tho miles when I picked it up, the new engine was to have 8 miles on it. I was told that the car was ready and that it was cleaned and gassed up and ready for pick up-I called to have a tow truck pick it up as I had spent too much money running back and forth as it is. (originally they offered to deliver it and i was now being told by the General Manager that he had no one available.) I was unhappy but excited to get my car back- When the car arrived It was started to get it off of the flat bed and the check engine light was on, the car was filthy, and the gas tank was almost empty! Even the tow truck driver said "WOW". there was grease all over the inside of the car on the drivers door and window, the engine was filthy with fluids that appeared to be leaking and if that was not enough the CHECK ENGINE LIGHT was on-on the new engine they had installed! I sent the car back to the dealer! I will update when I get some answers- I am beyond disappointed with Larry H. Miller Volkswagen! I have never been treated so poorly-after they had my money I was no longer important! I WISH I HAD READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE PURCHASING A VEHICLE AT LARRY H MILLER VOLKSWAGEN! 97% of them are poor!

There are very few places you can shop and leave with exactly what you were looking to purchase. The experience was easy quick and very accommodating to our needs. Mr. Fonseca walked us through the process from start and up to the financing process. He also provided assistance a week after the sale for a previous car purchase we made.

The service from Avondale VW is exceptional and our first choice when purchasing vehicles.

My firend's clutch and breaks went out on our roadtrip off the i10 and Larry H. Miller VW helped us a lot! They sent a tow truck to get us, when we got in the did the initial check, offered to get us an uber to get something to eat, called to let us know they found the issue and set us up with a rental because we were supposed to be back in California in 2 days and couldn't come back to get the car for 7 days. David helped us the entire time we dealt with it! Thank you so much!

After purchasing a vehicle, I was having serious b...

After purchasing a vehicle, I was having serious buyers remorse. It was not in their policy to let you return a vehicle even the next before a loan was accepted, which is understandable. They are a business and their main and only goal is to make money. They did let me switch to a different vehicle, which was a downgrade for me, but I was stuck. The worst part of it all was the next day of driving the Jetta I purchased was the white paint is COVERED in black specks from the brakes. Of course when my husband called they said it sounds like the brakes.. Which isn't covered under the warranty that they sold me, ya i knew that but when I get a car from a dealership, I expect it to be in top shape, not needing new things right off the lot. I must also add when I exchanged the vehicle and tried to cancel the warranty I was told it was not able to be cancelled. Luckily, I was smart enough to go home and read my contract and called to confirm with the warranty that there is 60DAYS to get a full refund. Now after reading other reviews where their cancellation kept getting "lost" I will be sure to obtain a copy of the paper!

Rob Knapp made the car buying experience for our teenage granddaughter painless, giving us an awesome deal, always with safety being forefront in our transaction. He knew a teen girl would want something pretty while her family would want something safe and he made it all very affordable.
We didn t have to wait hours and hours for it all to be completed also. From the minute we walked in the door, the friendliness of the staff to the final signature with the finance manager, we were treated with the utmost courtesy without being pushed into something we didn t want to do. I wish I had come here a long time ago for our other cars but know I will come here again.

Great experience. Zach helped my as my sales person and was a very atypical sales man. He did not overly push the deal and taught us so much about making a car purchase. He sold me on a great car and help get a great deal. So far this dealership has been my favorite in the valley. Very professional, efficient, and friendly.

I am very disappointed that on 11/3 I took my car because it had a noise in its direction and today is 11/5 that I still do not have it because they say they need a part that has not arrived. But even that I can understand, what I do not understand is how a diller with such prestige does not give a car to his client so that it does not affect his work and his daily life the fact that his has been in the workshop for 3 days without solution. A problem that does not cause it I only arose suddenly and even being under warranty they are what should run with the arrangement. Mrs. Carla was very kind and apologized on behalf of the diller, even if it did not depend on her. Thank you Carla!!!

Picked up our car after being told it was ready and on the drive home discovered the cabin filters that we paid to be replaced were sitting on the car seat. We had to go back in for the refund on our card...kind of sucked after paying so much money for maintainance to find out it wasn't done. Makes me wonder what else wasn't really done...

Bought a brand new VW Jetta 1.4T and drove out of state about a month after. My tire pressure light has been on/off and I fill it with air once a day. When I come out from work the tire is flat. I've talked with Larry Miller VW and they say there is nothing they can do unless the car is at the stealership. I've talked with numerous "bosses" and I always get the run around. I just don't understand why they can't look at the tire at a VW dealership where I am at. It must be leaking at the bead or the TPS sensor (it has a grommet) and no one will help. This is TERRIBLE customer service, considering I just spent almost 30k on a VW. I will be going to corporate about this. Stay away from Larry H. Miller VW in Avondale.

Our sales man was Roland. We went in originally 2 years ago and got a brand new Passat limited and from the time we walked in, to the time we walked out, the experience was one of the most awsome I've ever had! Quick, they listen and treat you well! They will not hear around the bush and will take care of you!

Went back in yesterday to trade my car in for something newer and had the same salesman, rare I know after 2 years and a big dealer!

I went to camelback vw to start looking as it's closer to my home, that experience was absurd, their customer service down to the sales and managers were terrible, walked out and went to here to Avondale and did not regret it at all!

Don't waste your time anywhere else, this place is legit, you won't regret your experience!

**Update**
After 2 Vehicles in this time, I came in on Sept 8th. Got a 2019 Jetta, my mother Talked into a 2018 Passat by the same salesman.
Ive since had no return calls.. 3 for the General manager, and 3 for The sales Department. I'm on expired tags No one knows what's going on every time I call.
The only call I have EVER had from this team, was from my sales man who was asking to be assured to give nothing but "10's" on his review.

My mother was promised her old plates back that they couldn't get off her trade in (NEVER RECIEVED, NOR A CALL BACK TO HER) They were quick to take the 400 bucks in return fees that Were definitely not included in her deal. 4 weeks later she got her check finally after no returned calls on her end either, MINUS high trade in value in this check-- Again no one of this was included on her deal.

Here I sit after 16 hard inquiries' on my credit report, to have a shiny new car with less than 1k miles and expired tags with no call back or any word as when Ill be legal to be able to drive. Salesman even said, if this deal goes through -- Ill have them throw a dash mat in.. NO ONE knows why he would say that nor would even honor such a petty promise.

I find out today the bank of course processed payment and finalized everything on 10/11 over a month later after driving away. Dawn I spoke with at this dealer informs me there's a "Glitch on their end", and my sale has not been processed or completed in their system.. Funny How Im told By Mike In finance that he cant control what accounting does and he doesn't have an answer as to why I cant legally drive my new toy yet, to STILL NOT HEAR FROM A SINGLE PERSON.
With the lack of communication and or simple call back EVEN from the general manager and their new team. I would never buy another vehicle from this dealership. I'm just a # as we all are. I get it-- Its business not personal, however DONT BUY INTO YOULL BE TREATED AS FAMILY, especially after now, 4 BRAND NEW Vehicles in less than 3 years time.

Don't waste your time or frustrations for no response after they have your money and soul, GO somewhere that will treat you better after so many faithful deals.. I've been treated better over this last deal at a Crappy buy here pay here Dealership..

**Insert Generic Response from General Manager Below**
10 bucks says itll be a copy and paste generic that was computerized, expressing how sincerely sorry he is and how this is NOT how business should be conducted hahahaha

Volkswagen Avondale has horrible service. I purchased a 2018 Passat with zero miles, brand new car. The car was brought over from another dealer and I didn t see it the day I signed, I didn t worry because I thought to myself, well it s a brand new car nothing should be wrong with it. When the car was brought over I picked up and drove it home, when I got home and started showing it off, I started to notice the horrible paint job. The car had scratches, buffer trials, and swirls all over the body. I reached out to Michale Abalos, the sales person that sold me the vehicle, and I told him the issue. He told me to take it in. When I took it in, they gave me the run around for two weeks and the car sat there while nothing was being done. Finally, after we insisted that they do something about the paint they supposedly fixed it. We picked it up and it looked 10x worse, the paint looks like an old car, with a ton of buffer trials, scratches and swirl marks all over. We once again reached out to Michael Abalos and asked for his help in the situation to see if he would recommend someone else above him that could help us and he ignored my messages. We will now have to try and reach corporate office to see what can be done. No one should have to spend $25 thousand for a brand new car and still have to deal with something like this. This is ridiculous and unacceptable in my opinion.

Wish I would have read these reviews BEFORE we purchased our car here. The experience was not good at all. We had the price set and once we got to finance we were told certain things were "included" but could not be given for free so somehow the finance guy worked them into our deal and the price went up without us even noticing until we got home. Larry Miller should be ashamed that this is how his dealership is run. Dishonesty is not a way to keep customers. These guys do this stuff because they know people are tired and have probably looked at other cars...so they can get away with it. If we go to a VW dealership and request things be done that we PAID for--that were SUPPOSED to be GIVEN to us-such as dent repair, key replacement and paint protection is not taken care of you better believe there will be problems. And we better be able to get service done at another VW dealership because we will NEVER come here again and will tell everyone we know to never buy a car here. You might not care about your customers, but word of mouth is huge and can affect your business. You really should take that into consideration when dealing with customers.

I bought my VW Atlas at this dealership and had it serviced there once. If you enjoy your time away from dealerships do not buy or service your VW at this worthless dealership.

The buying experience was horrendous. We were in there for 4-5 hours just to make sure we fixed their mistakes. Even after all that they managed to add on a service we never requested.

As for the service experience, they had my car in their shop for a full week...A WEEK and they were never able to replicate a constant noise from my brand new vehicle. After leaving their service department and going home as soon as I pulled into my driveway there was the noise, again. After I immediately called them, they refused to do anything about it because they were closing in an hour. This is how much they appreciate their costumers time.

Between their costumer service and a faulty new VW, This will be the first and last time I buy a VW.

This is the worst experience that I have ever had with an automotive dealership. This place is exactly why people hate dealing with car dealers. Hence, the used car salesman stereotype. If I could give them zero stars, I would select that option. They practice every dirty trick in the book to scam you out of your money. You don't need to practice dirty sales tactics to win customers! I do not want to go into to much detail, but spend your hard earned money somewhere else. This place isn't worth your time. This place is run by a band of pirates, the only thing missing is the eye patch.

Worst customer service, very unfriendly experience I received when I took my 2017 Passat in for service. Rude rude rude service advisor. They let my vehicle go without informing me about my spare tire having a hole a fixable hole but still a holeSafety issue. When the service advisor gave me back my keys they didn t even take the time to bring the vehicle to the front for convenience I had to go search for my vehicle on the lot. The interior was a mess the backseat had fingerprints from the of the service advisors working on my car. Bad customer service they need a lesson in how to treat their customers. Be warned not to buy or have your car serviced at Larry Miller Volkswagen.

Larry H Miller VW has done to the following to me and my partner after purchasing a used, certified 2011 VW Golf at their dealership - try to sell me additional items that do not ever pertain to my make and model of vehicle, tell me that items are not covered under the certified platinum warranty that I purchased when they actually are, attempt to up-sell me on services that are not needed or included in my purchased service plan - even after telling me that they would not do so, and then at one point they even called me after an oil change to try and convince me that the car I had just purchased from them and had serviced was garbage and that I needed a new one. They just want your money, they will tell you anything they can think of to try and get it. Stay away.

This is our first VW and we are especially pleased with the service and follow-up from sales to make sure all is well. They have been great to work with and treat us like we are important to them.

I found that the dealership was immaculately clean, inviting and professional. Working with the personnel, was more like talking with a family member; someone genuinely cares. I'd recommend Larry Miller Volkswagen to anyone.

On October 14, 2018, my wife Jasmine and I went to Larry H. Miller VW in Avondale in hopes of purchasing a new or pre-owned VW Tiguan 4motion. When we arrived, we spoke with Zach who helped us locate a Tiguan that was a DEMO vehicle with around 6,000 miles. This vehicle was the SEL trim. It was front wheel drive rather than 4motion, but we did like it, so we took it on a test drive. We were straightforward and honest with Zach and told him that we wanted to be out the door after taxes, title, licensing, and registration at $26,800. Zach then said that we would go in to the dealership and work the numbers. After hours of negotiating, we finally came to a number which we all agreed upon (myself, my wife, Zach, and the sales manager Rob Knapp). This number was $28,501.07. We then waited about an hour and filled out some paperwork (including a worksheet that reflected the VW Tiguan SEL FWD for $28,501.07) until the finance manager was ready for us. Once the finance manager came and got us, we proceeded to sign loan documentation. As we were signing the documentation, we noticed that the total price of the 2018 VW TIGUAN SEL was around $28,400. The finance manager then contacted the sales manager (Rob Knapp) and informed him that he hadn t added the license and vehicle registration to the car. The finance manager then left the office in order to go talk to the sales manager. When he returned, the sales manager was with him. Rob Knapp then told myself and my wife that there was nothing that he could do about this even though it was his mistake and that he was not going to honor the price that we had already signed ($28,501.07) for. He then proceeded to leave the finance office. His lack of remorse about this error disappointed us. We then spoke with Zach and the finance manager and told them that this was not what we had agreed upon. The finance manager said that he understood our concerns. He then proceeded to try to get us back to the number that we had originally agreed upon. After discussing it with my wife, we thanked the finance manager and Zach, but we decided not to go with the vehicle because of the fact that we feel that there was no integrity with the company. Rob Knapp is a direct representation of the company especially since he holds the position of sales manager. He lost a potential customer over his non-willingness to own up to his mistakes.

I took my car in for an oil change this past weekend! The service was great from start to finish. They even provided an Uber to transport me to work given that my vehicle is my only form of transportation. I appreciated receiving a call Informing me my car was ready once they were all done.

I got a beautiful 2014 jetta tdi with zero credit and we were able to get a very reasonable car rate. Both Jeremy the sales and and Mike the financier were great and answered every question I had and then some. Very pleased with the entire process. There was a bump in the road regarding my income but they fixed it and continued to find me a better deal on the car.

I am so impressed, ever so grateful and so satisfied with my experience at Larry H. Miller Volkswagen in Avondale.
Every single person I came in contact with was so polite, personable and happy to be there. Not just because I was buying a car but because they truly enjoyed their jobs. That says a lot about the company itself. A LOT!!! I appreciate that it s family-owned and operated. That s what I always look for when I m shopping for anything.
I'm so obnoxiously in love with this car.

*Michael A.* asked what I needed in a vehicle and that s exactly what he found and delivered.
Coming out of a 2019 RAV4 Adventure I'm surprised at how happy my new Volkswagen Jetta makes me! I thought the RAV4 was smart? Haha! Volkswagen definitely outsmarted Toyota by a loooong shot. A super whammy long shot!
Volkswagen and Larry H. Miller Volkswagen has a customer for life. Just sayin.

Sooooo.... if you come here for service, know that if you schedule it online or even over the phone... it s a general scheduling and you will be waiting. I decided to give this dealership a try... Showed up at 9:50am, scheduled for 10am... Barbara was absolutely Friend and a great person to work with. But she explained that it was going to take 2 hours. When I asked why, it was because we were extra busy .

My car didn t move until 11-11:10am. Now they offered to give me an Uber ride home... while that s a nice gesture... it did me no good as I had made prior arrangements at 12:30 which I was late for...

I walked around the lot and the showroom and even past a group of salesmen and not one even said hello. I don t know if that s a good or bad thing but it felt cold.

Sitting in the lobby, talking to another guest, she told me that this was the 2nd time she had been there and she wasn t coming back because it took 2 hours to get her oil changed...

I went to get a cup of complimentary coffee, and all 4 carafes were out.

The experience was a bit lack luster... but making an appointment seems pretty pointless.

The Accessories and Volkswagen toys and collectibles were however awesome!

Larry H. Miller Volkswagen is a very nice clean pl...

Larry H. Miller Volkswagen is a very nice clean place, however they have very dishonest people working for them. The salespeople are willing to do whatever it takes to get the deal done and benefit off of the commission. I originally had an appointment with Kelly at 7:00pm about 2-3 weeks ago, I show up for my appointment on time and the receptionist informs me that Kelly left for the day and left me with another sales person. The sales person she left me with told me I only had 3 options to choose from for a car based on my credit, I told him I did not want any of those options and then he went in the back and talked to his manager which told him I had another option. I was looking at the VW Passat Wolfsburg eddition and another sales person pops her head out the door and yells to my sales man that the vehicle is sold! I was immediately put off and he noticed and informed me that she was not supposed to do that and then gave me another option. I liked the option and decided to buy it, the sales people informed me that I was approved and there was nothing else I would need to do. Two days later I get a call from Steven in finance telling me to come in and sign my final documents and when I get there he tells me that there is nothing that I need to turn in the keys to the car bc no bank would approve the loan for me. I was furious bc over the phone he said I needed to sign the final loan docs and now it was another story and not to mention he blind sided me so me and my fiance had no way of getting home bc my fiance rhode in the car w/me leaving our other car at home, so my fiance asks how are we supposed to get home and Steve says to him however you need to by taxi, uber, whatever we need to do! I was so upset and defeated I just told my fiance lets walk home even though we live all the way in Goodyear! My fiance said no and Steve walks off then comes back about 10 minutes later and tells us the lot attendant will drive us back home in the car that they were taking back. I am very disappointed in this type of shady business practice and will NEVER shop at this location, what made matters worse is the fact that I was only car shopping bc my 2014 VW Jetta was totaled due to me being rear ended by a semi truck. Instead of Steven asking if I had a co-signer to help get the loan approved he just immediately assumed I did not and wanted to take the car back! I am in the process of purchasing a 2016 Passat from another location and will tell EVERY ONE I know to NOT shop at this shady location! These people are deplorable!!!!! Shop any VW location except this one!

On 08/9/2014 my son Justin went in to purchase a 2014 Jetta S (base model manual). He went into finance and sat with Karl Adams. He asked if he got a good deal with the purchase and Karl stated yes and you need all these protections and warranties. Justin has a mental disability that prevents him from comprehending and processing anything and has been on medications since he was 6. Justin has not been regulated on his new dosage of meds and has missed the dose so this is not the time to be signing contracts. He was so proud that Karl the fin mngr gave him such a great deal he rushed home and told me(his disabilities are poor judgment, unwise financial choices, racing thoughts inability concentrating.) He paid $25,307 for a car that is advertised for $14,899 on Larry Miller website. The sales price on the contract shows $19,985 paying $5086 more for a car is not a good deal and taking advantage of a young man with disabilities who had no idea what he was doing is unethical and irresponsible. I went into the dealer on 8/13/14 to speak to the GM DJ Hinchey and he was not in so we spoke to the sales manager Jeff, when I advised him of situation he said "well he did get a good deal, Justin said "How come you did not give me the advertised special on your website", Jeff said "Well did you ask for it", Justin stated I asked Karl if I got a good deal and he did not tell me of the sale price . I guess the good deal is in the eyes of the holder. I asked if we can remove all the add on's and he told me I had to sign a form that if anything happened to the car that I was going to be responsible(I am not on the contract) who treats a person this way rude and aloof. Victor the finance manager came out and had Justin remove the warranty and GAP but this still does not help the fact he got ripped off so badly that the loan to value is still 26% more than MSRP $17985(which we all know we never pay MSRP) I purchased a 12 Jetta SE new w/sun roof pkg and paid $23000 out the door and was treated with respect and fairness, I guess if you are unsure and not able to understand Larry Miller will take advantage of you too. By the way there was no trade just a straight purchase. I would not recommend Larry Miller VW to anybody and I work for a company who does loans and will make sure everybody is aware of them taking advantage of customers who have disabilities so beware. Next is your son, daughter, or an elderly parent

Being in my mid 20s, and this being my 2nd car buying experience it was terrible. They may seem nice but inside there business it seems like they don't know what they are doing. They went thru atleast 2-3 financial supervisors who I had to speak with which was very frustrating. I lived on the east side of phoenix in mesa and I had to drive back out to them 3-4 times because THEY messed up my paperwork, they firstly didn't even have my correct name, they then said that they agreed I would put 500 down on my vehicle which they some how forgot to mention to me all 3 times I had to go back until I had to make a special trip out there just to give them money. Then when I thought it was all done for, I go back to try and get my 3 free oil changes with my car that they gave me when I bought the car and that deal was never in there system so instead I had to buy it myself. I have completely happy about the car that I got, but these guys really don't even know how to do there jobs, its honestly pathetic and I will NEVER come here again for business

First rule of sales: Don't insult your customers.

First rule of sales: Don't insult your customers.

I found a Durango online that I liked, and being that I'm a 2.5 hour drive from the dealership I called and wanted to get all negotiations out of the way first before heading in to buy. The salesman did his best to try and get me to come in and see it, and overall did a good job. I made an out the door offer right at the asking price and was told the manager would call me back. The manager never did, so I called the following day and then talked to the used car manager, Justin. Justin made no attempt to negotiate with me, just said that the price was discounted as far as it could be to move the vehicle and it was set. I said my offer was where I wanted to be and he said "Well, some things we want we can't afford." I didn't respond and just ended our call. Afterwords I thought about it for a second and I couldn't believe how insulting of a comment that is! I certainly CAN afford the price, but who pays asking price, and what dealer doesn't negotiate at all, unless advertised "No Haggle".

I'm sure results vary, but that was my experience today. Maybe it would have been different if I had been in town and stopped by, but it would be hard for me to shop there after that experience.
