I've been getting my mileage services done at Larry H. Miller since returning from overseas. The maintenance staff do great work. I had an issue with water leaking into my car during car washes. I took it in and they found that some rivets were either loose of missing under the floors (possible factory defect). It was found and taken care of within a few hours and I was back on the road. The shuttle service does pick up and drop off so I didn't have to worry about leaving my car and having to find my own way home and back. Looks like the sales team is having some customer satisfaction issues, but the maintenance section seems great. I guess, I'll find out for sure the first time I have to actually pay for something. So far, great work. Thanks.

This place is a joke i took my car in last week for an oil change. The reason i take my car to the dealership is for a better service than any other little shop out there. I get my car returned open up the hood and oil all over my head light, oil hand prints on the cap oil spilled all over the engine and to top it off my visor had 2 huge oil finger prints as well as the handle. They also did the tire rotation to find 2 huge deep nicks on 2 of my wheels! So i went back to tell them the guy definately saw the mess and they cleaned it he said his manager will contact me that day to discuss my wheels, It s day 11 and i still have not herd back... definately do not recommend this Volkswagen what s so ever. From the first email to driving off the lot it was a great car buying experience. All my question by email or calls were answered quickly. The GLI's I wanted to test drive were waiting, and they had more choices in the back parking lot. I was in and out so fast compared to other dealerships I have dealt with in past. I did not feel pressured to buy an car, as I did in my previous purchases. Larry Mello and Internet sales crew are amazing to work with. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a new VW.

Barb is the best. She taking amazing care, answers any questions, communicates what your car needs and works with you to make sure your car is healthy and ready for you to drive.
They do through work and go the extra mile. I love making an appointment. There is a comfy sitting area or they will get you a Lyft home and bring you back. They work with your schedule and update you as things go.

I have been coming to Larry Miller VW on and off since I bought my GTI from them. I live close to another well respected dealer so it has been convenient to visit them for servicing. Although, lately I would rather make the drive to Larry Miller because every time I have been there the service has been great, and no unneeded service has been pushed on me. On my recent visit I was greeted by Erik who was absolutely great. He quickly got me into a rental and sent me on my way. His customer service is excellent and I would recommend him and this service department.

My recent purchase of a vehicle from this dealership has proven to be less than ideal and pleasant. Price haggling was the worst part of it and on top of that the finance guy, Joe Haddad had pushed way too many add-ons that I told him I didn't need given my situation. I was in a hurry to get out of the dealership due to a call from work and when I got home to review the details of the paperwork, I felt I was taken advantage of. Although I have the means to pay for the car, it doesn't mean that I should take all the add-ons available and be coerced to include them in the loan. I was not even given the opportunity the options I have in paying for certain parts of the cost like paying for the tax, license, and doc fees separate with a check versus adding those costs to the loan. There is a law that tells dealers to disclose all add-on options available to the customer but I feel they should not shove those options down customers' throats and make them purchase it. It's ridiculous some dealers have to do this to earn extra income in exchange for providing a pleasant experience so customers come back to buy again in the future. I've learned my lesson and will not buy from this dealership again. There is some great dishonesty that lurks in doing transactions with this dealership. The salespeople told me that certain features of the car are available just to make a sale only to discover after purchase that those features cannot be turned on or made available. I told my friends and family not to buy from the dealership ever. I would have given this dealership "No Stars" but that is not an option.

On Monday, August 3, 2015, at Larry Miller VW in Avondale, AZ, I had my 60,000 mile service done on my 2012 Jetta, which I bought (used) there almost 2 years ago. The service items were very extensive, and included catching up on something missed at 40,000 miles, so I spent a considerable sum of money (over $1400). I brought the car in without an appointment a few days earlier than I intended, because the car's battery had just died. So I feel glad I could get it all done in one day with no appointment. The service department guy who handled my visit was Jason Dixon, and I am pretty well satisfied with the way things turned out with his coordination. I expected a survey that was more than a single question, but what I have seen so far is a single survey question which amounted to choosing between satisfied or not satisfied. For this maintenance visit I am well satisfied. However, I need to write
a separate review for the bad treatment I got after I bought the car there, related
to salesman Pedro's 18 months of stringing me along with promises I would get the 2nd key (I only got one), That should not be considered a detraction from THIS review.

I would select no stars if I could. Extremely dissapointed in their "red carpet" treatment. When I was looking to buy they made all of these promises and never kept them. The service department is a joke. Didnt even put enough oil in my car when I took it in for a change. Said it came with a car wash but my car came back dirty with all of my settings changed. Time, radio, and what not. Plus they said it came with a car wash but got my car back and it looked like they rubbed a wet towel on it. Had to fight the guy at the desk for them to even do it and I purchessed my car there! Customer service means nothing to them. They will tell you whatever it takes to get your money. Absolutely disapointed. I will mever own a Volkswagen again. They promote quality but are extreamy cheap. I have suspension problems, my glass creaks, my battery stopped working under a year of owning my car or pice of junk. Wish I had never signed. I would definitely buy from a diffrent dealer or just not a Volkswagen. Don't waste your money on them. And as far a service I wont let them work on my car again. If you can't properly wash a car and fill it with oil then what are you doing working in a dealership? Complete disapointment for the $37,000 they charged me originally and the service fee of $90 for the oil change. Never again. I'll Flintstone it first.

To add to the joy of finding out they were pushing service claiming it would void my warranty when it will not. They now have representatives on dating apps fishing girls for sales. Just shows how low these losers are.

I had to get my beetle serviced due to my battery dying unexpectedly. I was concerned because all my alerts in my car were showing up at once. Not only was Jason in service super helpful on the phone telling me it was only the battery, but they also gave me a same day drop in appointment. He kept me updated with text messages and was so easy to work with. Thank you Jason! I am a lifetime customer now!

Went to Lease a VW and met a very nice and well informed sales professional that knew the product and culture. Please note I'm a former Volkswagen Million Dollar producer with over 300 happy VW Customers to my credit and I've never seen an operation like this one.

First impression, Wow really nice place, clean, new product, nice waiting area, very nice people. Well everything went great found the car, drove the car, did research on the car came back worked a deal. Drove another car made an offer on a lease. I drove a hard bargain, but eventually made a deal. I was happy and I thought they were happy too, but after they shook my hand said congratulations, went over the books, washed , filled it up and handed me the keys and said good by things changed tree days later.

I get a call from my sells person and he says there a problem. I say what is the problem?, he then said "I really cant say". Then I call into the Dealership and speak to Finance.

I spoke to Steve in Finance and he tells me that there is an issue with you "subleasing", what do you mean I've never subleased before in my life. OK something sounds fishy.

I did some more research into what this could be and I found out that there was fraud but it was not me, but someone else that had did it to me. Wow, So this is what is meant by individuals doing something scandalous with my name. Sad, what is that all about?

Needless to say I felt as though I did not mean anything to them except $$$$ when it came down to it.

As a Business owner, USAF Disabled Veteran and new Arizona residence I fill that they didn't see that I'm here to help my community and city and State and help build this economy stronger.

As for servicing Military and Veterans alike I would say that this Dealer is not sensitive to our needs or goals. So I would Avoid this Dealership if you value your time, stress level, credit and peace of mind. Total waste of time and effort and trust!. No Thanks! Never again!

Oh, yeah my Fico score was over 700 before I started dealing with this Dealer after the unauthorized inquires I received a notice that I was now under 700 due to unauthorized inquires. Wow, it just get's better and better.......... Not!

We would have liked to get a better trade-in value for our car and to get a little wiggle room on the price of the car we purchased, but they were not budging. While I can understand some of the financial numbers it still hurt a little. But what really bothered me was that after excepting the cost of the car and loss on the trade-in they were unwilling to even replace a $127 part on the car as they said the car price was already at rock bottom numbers. I could not even get a discount on the part and this is my families second car from this dealership. I even had to buy a second key fob myself. I did expect more from them. Elijah is a great salesman and appeared to try to work for us and Mike in finance was a star as well. Straight forward through the whole process.

Buyer beware!
VW of Avondale employs the most incompetent and dishonorable people that I have ever dealt with in over 8 vehicle transactions elsewhere.
Where to start? Firstly, when obtaining my lease, we specifically asked for the "lease-end protection" to be added to the payment while working the deal with the salesperson/manager. While they agreed, they lied numerous times about it being available, what it protected, what it cost, etc. In addition, they claimed that it was in the agreed payment, it was not. Payment conveniently increased when we made the horrible visit to the business office (Ha Business office).
When we signed docs with the finance person, Eddie, he used every bit of dealership lingo to not only lie about not offering/having VW "Drive Easy" protection, he proceeded to sell us five policies that he said were available to "be just like lease-end care". This is obviously not true, and upon reading the policies, they are not the same (more deception). In addition, their website has a brochure and explains the specifics of "Drive Easy". The menu of items even offered "TCA Wear Care", but he never offered either policy to us. Splendid business acumen.
After three weeks of multiple phone calls and messages to Eddie, new car manager Edgar, finance director Mike (and I use that term eyes rolling) and our original salesperson, not one of them has ever called back or successfully been able to clarify what type of "lease end care" is available, what it costs or if it can now or ever have been added to our lease deal. We are now stuck with a higher payment, no lease end care and are not able to amend the lease agreement with VW Avondale or VW Financing. How's that for guest experience? We were so disappointed because 3 years ago we leased a Volkswagen from the Larry H. Miller in Tucson and we were wowed by our experience there. Being repeat customers we expected the same honest treatment and customer service but this place was nothing like that. They were slick shady unethical and underhanded here and clearly couldn't be bothered to even return a phone call after the deal was signed.
Pathetic and absolutely horrible guest experience and treatment. Never setting foot in this dealership again. Again, buyer beware, you have been advised by a sane consumer.

Staff was nice initially, but I was unfortunately ripped off and taken advantage of. I thought about trying to trade the car back in but the second I drove it off the lot it was thousands of dollars in negative equity already. They lowballed us on my trade in, only offering $11,500. I saw it on their lot recently for $18,000. I'm stuck with even more negative equity and debt and theres no reason why I should be paying over 20k for a boring, slow base model Jetta. They hacked on several random charges and warranties and told us they were mandatory. My husband and I are now stuck in a ridiculous loan for the next few years but will never make this mistake again.

Ive just had the worst experience with a service department that i have had since i bought a car from Salazar Used cars. I replaced the battery on my wife`s 2012 volkswagen beetle because the lights were dimming and the car was having a hard time starting. The car ran for two days then died on her, I had it towed in to see what the problem was. The service advisor there on sat afternoon told me it was the battery, I told him it was a new battery. He asked if it was a volkswagen battery, I said no he then said that these car need a very specific voltage and he was positive it was the battery. We where called and told the car was done and a new battery was installed. We picked the car up on tuesday and didnt make it out of the parking lot before the car was doing the same thing again. Went back in and spoke to the service advisor only to find out they didnt diagnose the problem they just went with the notes the prior advisor had writen. They diagnosed the problem and called us back, a bad altenator. A day or so later we got another call and it needed a pully as well. I called the service department 5 times from friday to monday, with my wife calling twice before i got a service advisor on the phone. I told him of my trouble getting in touch with them and he calmly said they had tried to call us several times. A bald face lie, I told him since they didnt diagnose the car to begin with and just stuck a battery in the car that I wanted them to fix the car and take out there battery that i would get my own battery and put it in the car. I told them that the could take the 200 they charged me for the battery and apply it to the 1300 they where charging me to fix my car and I would pay the remaining balance. He told me it was not a 200 dollar battery but a 165 dollar battery and 25 dollars to put it in plus tax, and that he was not going to give me my money back. I have to say after i bought that mistake from Salazar it broke down 15 days into the loan. I took it to Avondale nissan for repair, they did everything they could to help me including giving me extra time to pay the repair bill. Later when it needed service again and was in the shop for a week they gave me a rental car and picked up the tab on the car. So when it car time for me to buy a new car I bought a nissan from them. I felt like they didnt care about me and the level of service, they just wanted my money and for me to get lost. My wife loves her beetle but at the first of the year when we buy a new car she will be driving a nissan.

This is the first time I took my VW Eos to Larry H. Miller VW Avondale. The reason I took my VW to Larry Miller was because it is close to my new work location. I came in with a number of issues, including the check engine light coming on the day before. I made my appointment with Kyle on the phone, he was courteous and set me to bring the car in the next morning at 7:00 am - assigning me to Cesar as my service adviser. Cesar checked me in told me he would contact me when he had more information. Later that morning, I called him because I was eager to hear what they had determined to be the cause of the "Check Engine" light. Cesar explained that they were running behind and that he would get back to me. He called me back in 10 minutes and explained cause of the "Check Engine" light and gave me an estimate of cost as well as other recommendations. It was a long list, and they were able to get it all done by 3:00 that afternoon. I picked the car up the next morning, and Kyle went over the repairs with me. The staff and service exceeded my expectations.

Wow. I am so impressed by the staff there. Went in looking for a car and they worked so hard to find a deal that worked for us. LJ (I believe that was his name) was super friendly and never pressured us. They did a ton of work keeping everything in our budget. This was my 3rd car I have purchased from this exact dealership and I could not recommend them more. Friendly staff, professional atmosphere, and great deals.

Overall a pleasant experience. 10 out of 10 and 2 thumbs way up.

Update: I came back to this dealership about 3 weeks later because my sister was looking for a car. She originally wanted a Toyota and I talked her into going to VW to check it out. She was impressed by the professionalism of all the staff and by their great selection of both new and used cars. LJ helped me out again and worked hard to get us a deal that worked. Again this was a great experience. Thanks again guys!

My son and I was there Monday October 19th and spoke with Jeremy and Fernando which Fernando was a little rude when I was telling about the insurance price to insure the car we couldn't reach a deal. They forgot to give him his drivers license so he went back October 20th. A guy named andreas was helping him and tried to get my son to sign 2 different contracts with 2 different prices. I got on the phone with andreas and told him if my son didn't show back up at all at the end of the month would he still be locked in he said yes. So I told my son no and I told andreas no. My son goes to leave andreas tells him he can do 380 a month but if I being his mom called and said no he would jump my son up to 430 a month. So if threating a person to buy a car is your way of making sells that's wrong. I'm not setting my son up for failure.

Our salesman. Billy was/ is AWESOME! Not only did he get us the best deal and we didn't feel pressure nor did we feel taking advantage of. We are able to call or text him questions if we have any months after purchasing our car.
I'm stoked we went to Larry H. Miller to get our awesome vw! Will be going back to Billy if/ when we get a better second car!

The staff was friendly and explained everything about the recall notice I received. I was in an out in under an hour and came out to a sparkling clean car. Service center had tables and chairs and free wifi so I could be productive at the same time. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a fast friendly service experience.

NEVER even bother to go to this dealership EITHER FOR SERVICE OR SALES. I talked on the phone regarding my 40K service on my VW Passat TDI SE. I was given an explanation of what needs to be done and provided a quote for $750 including tax. When I really went for service, the lady named BARBARA HALSEY talked to me like she owns the dealership and that I have already decided for service WITHOUT any explanation. A few words and she told me it was going to be $899 plus tax. I bluntly took my key and ran away from the dealership.

For sales, salesmen go to managers for every question you have leaving you alone sitting on a table. And while you are sitting there other salesmen come by you saying "hello" and ask if I was being taken care of. Funny way of doing business. But I really hate the Barbara the way she took keys of my car, took control over my car and like, f***ing I owe her something....forgetting that I (we the customers) feed her and family. Hope this helps the management to go over their business practice and not giving different quotes over phone or internet or someone goes personally. Freaking, different advisers have different quotes for the same thing !!!

The sales man Elijah did great his service was a cut above the rest he got me into a better car than expected so I would give him a five star. However the detail department is lacking badly for buying a brand new car I would expect a full detail not just a wash and go, I even brought it back the next day and said something about it and it was slightly better but they still did a horrible job detailing the inside if they even touched it. I didn't complain because at that point I figured why they will still do a half @#! job anyways. So I would go back because of the salesmans service but would heavily consider buying again from the pride put into the car I received.

Go to Camelback VW or somewhere else. Its worth the drive. My next VW will be from them. Customer service is lacking and they think they are selling BMW's there. Total snobs! How could anyone at a VW dealer mistreat a guy named HERBIE? Well these clowns did! A response from the owner will surley be a defense reaction but you can't un-ring a bell.

I just felt I am so stupid when I was told that I only have a transponder key after I have signed everything. I have to spend about another 300$ to get an automatic key... If I know this at the beginning, I might not buy that car. As such a big company, you should already know the problem of keys, but your salesman chose to conceal the fact. Not recommendation anymore.

It was a pleasant experience, I went in one Saturday meant with Steven the sales person, was quite up front with him told him want I wanted, what I would pay and 10 min. later we had a deal. They had to order the car, and I had my doubt's that it would be on time and the exact car. It was, they delivered on time and perfect. Thank you, a job well done.

I love the service department at this dealership. They are ALWAYS helpful, kind courteous and timely. I bring all my cars here for service. I have not found another service department in the valley that has provided me with such great service. Keep up the great work and as long as the staff that is there continues I will be bringing my cars for any service they need.

I drove across town to Larry Miller VW in Avondale from Fountain Hills to buy my car thinking I would never return, but they are so good I will gladly make the trip! Just had my 30k service completed, and they offered me a loaner car, kept me thoroughly informed throughout, took care of all of the "extras" I asked them to do, and did so with courtesy and professionalism. Also, the service on my car was done right the first time, and my car was washed when I picked it up! All of this for buying a used car.. Thanks!

From the moment we arrived to the moment we signed the paperwork and drove away in our new car, myself and my wife had an excellent experience. We had been shopping for a new car for about 3 months and with my travel schedule we happened to narrow our search down more. We walked in and never felt pressured or uncomfortable in buying a car. At other dealers, we felt like we were being pressured into a car that we weren't sure about. In test driving multiple cars and discussing the packages that we wanted, we came out on top in our minds and are very happy with our new 2013 Passat SE. Our salesman Adam was great and worked with us by addressing the needs and concerns we had. My wife was very pleased. Happy Wife, happy life and boy, was she happy with the purchase.

Each and every time I go to Larry Miller Volkswagen Avondale I am treated very well. I feel a true sense of respect by the staff. I have pointed out before and will point out again one of the staff that makes my visit there feel more secure. His name is Duane Wright. He is the go to person to get things done and done correctly and with a very high bottom line of respect. Even if I am just going there for a routine oil change. I make a point to reach my hand out to shake his to show my respect for him. ***** If you need to drive a little out of your way to go to Larry Miller for your VW. The sales people at Larry H. Miller Avondale are awesome. They are never pushy and they always listen to what we wanted in a vehicle. We ended up with the new 2018 VW atlas and couldn't be happier. Thanks everyone at Larry H. Miller! You will always have a forever customer with us.

My mistake to think trying to buy a used car would...

My mistake to think trying to buy a used car wouldn't be such a song and dance. I repeatedly made clear my one offer, and they kept countering with higher, which is fine except I specifically told them I couldn't go any higher and didn't want to play the "let me talk to my manager" game. If they couldn't agree to my offer, then no hurt feelings and we can go on our way. Needless to say, it was a typical used car sales experience; very bad. I didn't buy the car, and am weary of this dealership.

If i could give them no stars i would. Horrible customer service . Once they have your money , you get the run around for everything ! Not to mention all the service reps are extremely rude and everything is a burden for them. Especially when they go around the glass door all they do is talk trash. No problem with volkswagen, just this specific dealer. The worst.

Iv owned 9 VW's in my life and this will be the last. I brought my car in for warranty work, and stated what was wrong. They claimed everything was ok, sending me on my way. My car is drinking a quart of oil every 2 weeks because of an emissions code they didnt catch, but the autozone scanner pulled it up... The AC compressor only works when it wants... which is an issue known on the 2016, yet they said it is ok. Now my warranty is expired and im stuck with these issues... Their technicians are incompetent. I reached out to VW care and they basically said i on my own... I thought bringing my VW to a VW dealership would be the right move, but i guess i was wrong. I took my truck to Jones Ford for warranty work and they did a thorough check fixing extra things i didn't even now where wrong. I even got a loaner vehicle because they wanted to make sure everything was checked over before releasing the vehicle with their warranty stamp on it. I explained my experience with VW to them and they just laughed...
Iv got a good deal on a VW if anyone is interested...

Although I didn't purchase my car at Larry Miller I did experience excellent service. My daughter and I were on our way to a long awaited vacation when my 2011 Jetta experienced an issue with the ignition coil. After calling VW roadside assistance and arranging for a tow we were brought to Larry Miller VW. Your service personnel were courteous and professional and although we were about two hours behind schedule they got us back on the road with a loaner vehicle. Our Jetta was repaired and was ready when we returned four days later, again everyone at Larry Miller was awesome. My experience was such that when it comes time to purchase a new vehicle I will go the extra distance to Larry Miller VW. Thank you again!
