Worst service I have ever experienced at a resort. Booked a lake view and was given a standard room overlooking parking lot. Had to call and change rooms. Coffee maker did not work in room called at 7 am to please send a replacement and instead sent a maintenance man to my room, where my family was sleeping and he insisted on fixing it there. Never in my life have we had this horrible service. Left for the day and after return , room was cleaned but no towels at all in the room, once again had to call for service. All this and they call themselves a resort lol never again. We couldn t wait to escape to our next hotel on our road trip. Oh yeah if you want internet connection do not count on it. No private internet connection. I could not access any websites. For the money they are charging they could have better service. Seriously look somewhere else in the town of page. Wish we would have.

We come for a boat tour of Lake Powell and for lunch. Boat tour was too long, the views are beautiful but all the same in each canyon we saw. So we should have probably bought the shorter tour. Lunch was very tasty but service was a little slow.

A third rate motel making almost no effort to live up to the resort status it claims to have. I have stayed in half a dozen "resorts" and they are often remote but their defining characteristic is that they are self contained and you want to spend time at the resort. So they typically have attentive staff, often have "style" and can be quirky. This resort is a 15 minute drive from Page, and you will be making the drive a lot because Page has good restaurants. The resort has below average hotel food (the breakfast buffet was OK though), with not enough capacity to handle its guests. The buildings are a series of 2 story bunkers with drab interior corridors, and the only quirkiness is in the room amenities and furniture. There is no desk, just a flat top chest of drawers, and no armchair. Coffee is from a Keurig (good) but it is in an inaccessible cubby and it was not until the 2nd night that I realized it was on its own movable platform that you pull out to use it. The tissues are on a inaccessible shelf, you have to move them somewhere else to get one. Finally, there is no soap. All toiletries are in huge liquid dispensers bolted to the walls and the only shower option is scented body wash. Overall the worse two nights of our 10 day road trip - there appear to be many good hotel options near Page but this isn't one of them.

5:40pm and the room was still not ready, no discounts, no upgrades, no solutions, poor guest service for the price charged. On top of that: terrible internet, old rooms. Super overpriced hotel.

Really amazing place, we did the Antelope Canyon Boat Tour. It was all great, the waiting room for the boat tours sold wine and they had a cafeteria, staff was friendly and a big gift shop in the resort as well. We did not stay in the resort itself, just went there for the boat tour.

The lake is magnificant. The rooms are ok but the resort itself althoug renovated still has a 70s feel to it. I guess thats what happens when you apply fresh paint to an old resort instead of actual redesign and upgrade

My stay was overall bad with Powell resort. It started off with my family struggling to get two rooms next to each other even though they were more than capable of it. Before we got there we asked if one of them could have a loft and if it cost money. They said we could have one and that it didn t cost money, but when we got in our room, there wasn t one AND when we called they then said it cost money. Then we wanted to take a shower and rest before going to dinner, but one problem... there weren t any towels in our room. We called and asked for some and they said they d only give us two. And then we went to their restaurant for dinner, and the waitress wasn t bad, but wasn t nice or anything. I think it s because she knew she would get an 18% tho because we had to if our table wa sober 6. So we got back and then the next morning we asked for a late checkout in both of our rooms, and they said they could only do one of ours. No specific one, but only if of ours could have a late check out for no reason. I d get it if people were coming in to our room and they needed time... but they didn t care which one got the late checkout, so I don t understand. But that was my experience

Way understaffed. WiFi hasn't worked in 5 years. Rooms run down, landscaping needs serious attention. Leaves, weeds and trash fill the parking lot. Over priced. View spectacular but not worth the price. We stayed 2 nights. No one came to clean room and restock towels 2nd day. We upgraded to a lake view but from 1st floor in building 5 could only see bushes, no lake view, but paid for one.

The only disadvantage was no wifi in the building we stayed. There is wifi available at the main entrance office, but not in buldings where customers stay + less mobile coverage so you have to move from one place to another to get LTE.

But overall it was a really good experience.
(-1) star for no wifi.

The service in the dining room left lots to be desired. It took 20 minutes to get seated with reservations ahead of time. Almost an hour to get our salad and 40 minutes to get our entre after the salad was cleared. Desert was served and my wife was left without utensils to eat it with. 2 hours and 15minutes is a bit long for a meal to eat, unless you plan your following meal immediately after finishing this one. The food was excellant and prepared as ordered.

I really tried to love the place. The location is amazing - absolutely gorgeous view of Lake Powell (sunrise is amazing, so plan accordingly) and so could be this resort. Yet there are too many things that are wrong to consider it an isolated issue.

Starting with the state of the rooms - a renovation is way overdue. I am not the one who would insist on only top-notch brand new sparkling conditions of lodging - I am happy when the room is comfortable and well kept. Which our room wasn't. Everything is old and feels somewhat neglected and it shows in so many details: one of the vanity mirror light bulbs being long dead, broken bathroom doorknob, bronze finish of the appliances half-gone - I could go on and on...

Of the amenities, two most notably lacking are elevators and Wi-Fi. If you are on the 2nd floor, prepare to lug your suitcases up the stairs. As for Wi-Fi, they've got it but it is beyond bad - it is totally unusable. The fact that mobile reception was practically nonexistent for my provider in the area didn't help either, leaving us without any connection to the outside). To add insult to injury, their internal systems are using the same Wi-Fi, so it was kind of funny to see the restaurant hostess repeatedly trying to connect her iPad to Wi-Fi in order to pull up the seat map and repeatedly failing to do so.

Of the restaurants, there are two, but they operate off the same menu. The lounge is availability-based and is taking no reservations, whereas the Rainbow Room is reservation-based. It was impossible to reserve a spot on the same day but we were able to make a reservation one day in advance. The funny thing is that the restaurant was mostly empty over the time we were there, with only some tables taken. At the same time, it took a lo-o-o-ong time to get our food (from seating to entree it took 1 hr 50 min, despite the fact we didn't waste time making our selection).

To put the cherry on a cake we were woken up next morning by the "room service" at 7:55am (it was our last day, so maybe it was a "gentle" nudge to get us to check out faster).

To summarize, as much as I liked Lake Powell, I am far from pleased with my experience at the resort. I don't foresee visiting Page again in the near future but I have to, I would definitely look at alternatives. (I also hope, the Resort Management is reading this and will use it as a recipe to improve things).

Would give it a 4 but bathroom had sewer smell ad it was worse in the lobby. Also if you booked a boat cruise it was a long very steep path you had to walk to get to it. And only after I finally made it down there did they offer transportation up. If we had know I would have took it down since I have bad asthma

Very nice resort but failed miserably in many things. I was held on the phone for 20 minutes and called three times to make a reservation. We were picked up at the airport 15 minutes behind schedule and made 3 stops prior to driving to the resort. We had lots of luggage and the driver wasn't very helpful. He stayed stopped for 10 minute at one stop while I had to shift all my luggage around to accommodate all the people coming on board. I later found out all of them were employees and not even guests. I asked why weren't we leaving and he said the bus has a maximum of 14. He didn't say a word, just sat there. So I had to make the count and ask 2 people to leave. (Where did he get his training?) Before arriving at the resort, we needed to pass through the park gate which cost $30 extra for my wife and I. We weren't told that either. When we arrived (on a Tuesday afternoon) at the hotel, the bus driver stopped in the middle of the street in front of the hotel. I had to move all my stuff onto the street then haul it to the front of the hotel. The check in line was 15-20 minutes, no bell desk or staff to assist with luggage. The kind lady who checked us in found one bell hop to assist us to our room. The room was clean and fine. I immediately tried to get on the internet, but it wouldn't work. I called and was put on hold for 15 minutes, called back three times to each the front desk and the operator over the next hour and finally someone picked up, the operator. She told me the internet doesn't work from the room. So I went to the lobby to work and it didn't work there either. I was then told the internet is down. The grounds were well kept and the scenery was beautiful. Found the food and service to be better than expected.

Nothing about this place is a "resort," here is why I disliked it:
- Upon check in and during stay, lobby and restaurants were hot. Ac was down due to roofers cutting a line.. Ok so what are you going to accommodate people?
- Skipped eating at Kanab because we were told by front desk options were great, after check in they told us we had to have reservations...place was full and could not get a table. Finally got a table later and had 4 different people come to the table...confusing and mismanaged. Manager did offer free desert but overall staff was mismanaged.
- food was overpriced and underwhelming
- big patches mold growing on the bathroom ceiling
- truck stop hand soap wall pumps in shower..really you guys can't provide bar soap and shampoo?
- weed smoke smell in hallway and rooms of building
- no room service, again you call yourself a "resort"

Place was waay overpriced for what it is. It resembles a holiday in express with a view..but the holiday in express is nicer. I will say some of the foreign staff were really nice that were there on work visas. Cheers to them

Always beautiful! Wish prices for renting water fun equipment was so expensive though! A boat rental for the day is about $550 but they do have a pretty nice resort. Everytime we look it's super busy. No wifi in the rooms though. It's nice for a day trip to tan and take a dip.

Very old buildings, in the 60s. Very dirty impression, unfriendly staff, outrageous bad food. We had booked for 2 nights and started walking after 1 night..Airco in the room sounds like chainsaw ..

Very disappointed!! Upon check in we noticed there were stains in the sheets and a hair pin near the air conditioner which indicated the room was not properly cleaned and sanitized, especially up to covid standards. I spoke with the night manager Geoffrey Aldrich who informed me there were 8 more rooms but they weren t able to switch our room. They claimed they would go and clean it again and that was all they could do. Jeff had me write my information down and assured me I would get a call from the morning managers to discuss the incident. I never received a call or any compensation for this misfortune.

We were also woken up at 8:00 am from housekeeping asking if we were still there! The young man ALSO wasn t properly wearing his mask as he had it only over his chin.

Pool area had 18 people for over an hour in the evening. (the signs everywhere indicate only 10 people in pool area) and no one there to regulate social distance guidelines.

The pictures are from room 511, I hope they have the decency to get these damages repaired for the next guest.

It was my first time to visit Page and Lake Powell and the Lake Powell Resorts and Marinas had the best view ever! I woke up at 6 a.m that day and I got a chance to see the beautiful sunrise. I love that moment so much! If you visit Page area, I suggest you to stay the nights at this place. You are not gonna regret it!

We really enjoyed our stay here. We were in building 7 with a view of the lake. Nice to sit in the balcony and look at the landscape with the rather large rabbits hopping about. Alexis and Geoffrey at the front desk were very kind and offered information about local landmarks. This property is a few miles out of town almost isolated, so please note that you will not have a strong WiFi signal, but we all need to unplug a bit.

Nice place to stay, the facility and guest services are good. Clean fitness center, nice pools, rooms are pretty nice, the housekeepers are cool too!
I accidentally left my wallet in the room and didn't realize it until I got home. Anthony made it right and got it sent back to me thru fed ex-awesome! We will definitely come back! Thank you for the hospitality! You guys are all right :)

Upon check in we were notified everything on the premises was closed. Okay I can get that with everything going on in the world, HOWEVER upon getting to our room, the shower didn t work, the ice machine in the building didn t work. Customer service is less than acceptable. This resort is run down and hasn t been properly cleaned since the mid 90s. Don t waste your money, go somewhere else. The Home 2 Suites right up the road is less than half the price and way better of an establishment.

The view is gorgeous and the outdoor areas are well maintained, and pretty pictures might win you over. The catch is that rooms are a trip in time to the 70s and in dire need of renovation.
Also the hotel is located within a park, and it will cost you $30 only to enter, to consider on top of the room price.
I would recommend the less scenic newer inns in Page instead for modern comfort, knowing that once you factor the park fee in, you will break even.

We stayed at the campgrounds at the marina the campgrounds were very nicely done the bathrooms were clean they had outlets near the picnic tables it was a great time with great friends great experience and I'll be happy to go back

The location on the lake is very nice, the hotel is well done, but the rooms needed a refurbishment.
The fridge in the room was broken and smelled unpleasant. The view from the room but very nice on Lake Powell.
The staff is very friendly and helpful, there are several excursions available from the hotel. The prices for this are ok according to the area.
The small pool outside is clean and nice.

So where to start? Well, we will start with the reception of the room which is only from 16h so if you arrive before you have to wait (or they can kindly give you a card to go to the pool but you have nowhere to change ...), so the employees at the reception are as cold as ice cubes ... Then after recovering our royal suite overlooking parking! The room is dirty there is nothing in it, no microwave the fridge does not work and I am not talking about the state of the bathroom pretty mix between rust on the studs and mildew on the ceiling. The soundproofing is also worthy of a cardboard sheet is you can pass your fingers below the front door (surely for the vents). I do not recommend going to the beach because the smell of oil and gas is not very reassuring on the compositions of the water (the boats being 10 m from the beach ...). Now the funniest WiFi! Surely realize by a group of college students in computer options! You will not be able to watch your messages, videos on the internet, and I'm not talking about network security! Finally it is a hotel that I strongly recommend you avoid because the value for money and the lowest in the corners!

Near impossible to contact the front desk (was given different numbers until they gave me an inactive one) The rooms are nice but nothing special, about what you'd see in a typical 2 star room. The location is good if you like boats, if you're hoping to make a 5-10 minute walk to a beach or a short walk to find lakeside fishing good luck. 99% of people are better off staying in page which is a 5-10 minute drive from the marina and using the money saved on something else.

Campground is spacious for tent goers. I would imagine for 30$ a night you wouldnt have to pay for showers. Showers cost nore than a load of laundry. There is ZERO shade for camping. The beach is a ways down, but the water and sand is very nice. Town is nice and has lots of food options

This place was way over priced. Made reservations on their website for a lakeview room and was told they were sold out and given a room with a view of the parking lot. No price change... The room was really outdated with old furnishings. The bed was super hard the pillows flat and uncomfortable. The bathroom had soap scum in the bathtub with no wash cloths. I have no idea why we stayed 2 nights, we should have left after the first one. On the 3rd night went to a less expensive place that over looked the lake with a balcony, was clean with comfortable beds and wash cloths.

Update: After multiple attempts to get ahold of someone at the hotel via phone we were finally able to have then make a change to our room reservation. On the night that we arrived to the resort we were told that they made an error while editing our reservation and booked us into their other hotel, that is 100 miles away. We were told that we would have to drive there if we wanted to spend the night.
Horrible customer service.

Congratulations to the gentleman behind the counter who only had to check in a waiting line of people. In an undisturbed way, he did his job effectively. While there was still room for 3 colleagues. Rooms good just a bit dated and ripe for a renovation. Looked clean.

Mass tourism hotel. Without charm apart from the lake view rooms and again be careful there are only buildings 4 and 5 which have a real view of the lake and it depends on which one.
Quite spacious and clean room. But together old-fashioned. Windows in a sorry state. Balcony sea view but only standing. As soon as we sit on the chairs no view because the too high balcony wall hides everything !!
Tasteless and expensive restaurant. Pt dej overpriced for the quality.

Excellent resort with unparalleled views! Very good food and decent and friendly employees. We came with our 2 year old daughter and it was an unforgettable experience! Recommended for all ages. With water sports and tours by water, land and air, all tastes will be satisfied.

I felt like the resort just wasn't for me. I paid 25 dollars to enter the area and there just wasn't anything to do. The boat tours were too expensive and the beaches were mucky and lined with thorns. This place just isn't for a college student with no money.
