Nice resort, clean and very well organized. From definitely try the restaurant serving well-cooked dishes (by American standards you might feel fine) and a good selection of wines and beers. The hotel also offers (for a fee) a mini cruise on the lake which has proved to be very interesting.

We stayed here 2 nights for the first time. Our room was clean and neat. Staff was quite helpful. Bathrooms could use some update though. Lulu is doing an amazing job. I told her I'd give her a good review :)

If you stay here make sure to get a lake front view. Nothing like walking out of your room and being able to see the lake and the mountains in the background. The room is a basic hotel room nothing too special. If you have to have an need for espresso, a Starbucks is located in the hotel lobby next to the restaurant. We didn't make it in time for dinner, so can't make a review there but the are options.

The rooms are good enough although they could use a bit of upgrading. Overall though they were clean and acceptable. The service was were it was lacking. The staff was not very helpful and the restaurant staff was almost rude at times. For the amount of money one pays for the food, you would expect a bit better quality. Hopefully the hotel gets its staff to treat you a bit nicer when they are charging you a good amount for so so food.

The hotel is located right on the shore of Lake Powell, from the lake view rooms or simply by going outside the structure you can admire a wonderful panorama, especially the sunset.
Nearby are Antelope Canyon (around 30 minutes drive) and Horseshoe Bend (approximately 20 minutes by car).
Large rooms, old and not very functional bathroom with shower over the bath (for how it works the shower is hard for a woman to wash her hair).
With the proximity of the lake inside the rooms there is a very high humidity and everything is impregnated by an incredible stink of the lake, really embarrassing.
The air conditioning system is not very efficient.
WiFi only works at night when there are few users connected, it didn't work during peak hours.

Loved it. October was alike chili in the morning and evening and it came with a small breeze in the AM and PM. I have been told to go in the second and third week in September. I'll try that next year...! Wee had fun though. The water was a lot colder then expected, I guess that's why they said go in September.

We also did the full hook up for the camper. That was nice. Over all, it was very nice. Our family had fun.

Oct:
chilly and breezy in the AM and PM.
Water was colder then expected.
Still full of campers.
Weather was very nice.
Bathrooms were clean.
Beach was not to far.

One thing I don't like is that can't pick your camp site. I'm not sure why but you can't. I was hoping for a bigger site for the kids to play in and that but nope. The camp site next to us was super big and while we were there, we had two couples come in that were just them and that's it. So I wish you could pick you spot???..

I'll try September next year!!!

We will return!!!!

A very nice hotel in the national park with a great view of Lake Powell. The rooms are nothing special - American standard with air conditioning, fridge, small TV and small balcony. Parking directly in front of the room. Everything was clean. I was satisfied.

Hotel was nice enough. Do yourself a favour and get the Lake View - it's worth it with the patio off of each room. We made the mistake of switching rooms from a two queen lake view, to a two queen non-lake view suite, so that when our children went to sleep we could relax. We made this decision before we saw the rooms - we should've stayed because the patio was sufficiently large enough to enjoy alone time.
FOOD: since you have to pay $15.99 for the breakfast buffet, we went to Denny's just up the road and had a huge and delicious breakfast for half the price. For dinner we didn't research the surrounding restaurants, so we made the mistake of having dinner in their restaurant - it's mediocre food, and horrible service. The staff is friendly and nice, but in no rush - it took (and this was for two dinners there) at least 45 minutes to an hour appetizers and then another 30 minutes for our dinner once we had finished. The surrounding tables were a mess. It seemed understaffed maybe... Anyway, I'd recommend heading out to a restaurant in the town.
Staff at the front desk were very kind.
The beach is nice and clean too.

Although more expensive than the other hotels in Page, it might well be worth it. Rooms have water views. The dining room is surrounded by glass and looks out over the water. The pool looked nice. There was a very nice nature walkway about a mile long directly from the hotel. Good for a nice walk after dinner while enjoying the sunset. The gift shop had very nice selections.

Everything was fabulous. The food, the service was astoundingly good, the portions. I had a pasta dish was perfectly balanced. The veggies were done imaculatlely, the chicken and bacon flavoring, bit nit dominating, the sauce perfect. My friend ordreed soup and a salad. The salad was huge. We loved the food. The view was amazing and our waitress was soectaculor. I've read other reviews talking about mediocre food and skimpy portions and either those issues have been utterly fixed, or the reviews were unfair.

The food was not great and the service at the restaurant was not great either. The restaurants have the same menus, which made for boring meals. The buffet food was just okay.

They need to replace shower heads, because they are old and covered in hard water and just spray all over. They need to get the hard water off the sink faucets, too. The room was pretty clean, otherwise.
They had trouble finding our friends' reservation.
The marina is close and convenient.
Overall, an okay stay.

I used it just like going to bed in the Grand Circle tour, but I did nothing but good things.

PRO'S AND CON'S FOR OUR WINTER STAY BELOW.

PRO'S AND CON'S FOR OUR WINTER STAY BELOW.

We stayed for one night on 12-2-17 in a lake view room.

Pro's:
-Staff is friendly and courteous.
-Early check and late check out were both available.
-Great views of the lake and mountains.
-Perfect places to take photos and enjoy walks.
- Very quiet with the Marina being close to our room.
-Nice comfy pillows.
-Lots of towels in the bathroom.
- Mini Fridge and safe in the room.
- Not crowded during the winter season.
- We fished at the fishing dock, it was very spacious and clean. It near the Marina Store and has restrooms very close, so that means more fishing time.

CON'S:
The resort is outdated, it could use a lot of upgrades and it lacks a resort feel. Room seemed over priced considering how old they are.

ROOMS CON'S:
-The bed was old and uncomfortable.
-Our room had a very bad odor.
-The carpet was dirty, stained my white socks.
-The shower head was shooting water from the adjustment handle, my husband fixed it.
- We asked for a second floor lake view room for more privacy but you can't see the lake unless you stand, the 2 old chairs on the balcony are very low.
-The AC/heating unit doesn't automatically shut off when it reaches the set temperature, we had to get up in the middle of the night to adjust it.

PROPERTY AND AMENITIES CON'S:
- Old and outdated.
- The ceiling is so low in the hall ways I could touch it, I'm 5'2.
-No room service.
- Only 1 fire pit in the pool area.
-No ice or vending machines in building 5, had to walk to building 4 for ice.
-During the winter season almost everything is closed at the resort. With the exception of Driftwood and The Canyon Cafe, both are very overpriced.

Lake Powell is one of the most beautiful lakes in ...

Lake Powell is one of the most beautiful lakes in the world. To say it in few words, it's is like boating in the Grand Canyon. The farther upstream from the resort you go, the more beautiful / awesome it gets. We opted for a package from the resort that included a 19' boat. Two nights plus boat, just over 600.00 in October. As with any boat rental figure another 500 deposit that you get back if the prop isn't damaged, which if you stay in the middle and watch out for shoals, won't be a problem. Fish along the edges, you're bound to damage a $150 prop. Not an issue for us. Also we had a 17.00 insurance waiver which I recommend for any serious boating issues over 500. Figure nearly 100 in fuel for one day if you travel 50 miles up and 50 miles back. That is about it for the budget details with the boat attachment to our hotel.

The hotel is huge, several two story buildings, the rooms were medium to good, not great, our bathroom was very clean and looked good, but the room appeared a little worn, mostly the carpet and furniture could use an over haul. But the experience with the lake makes you forget all about it. The scenery out our window was facing the marina and looking east affording an awesome sunrise view. The resort has several restaurants, breakfast buffet at our visit was 15 and included made to order omelettes. There are two outdoor pools, one with a hot tub (jets were broken though). Lobby Internet was slow, but good for text related Web sites and typical news sites, not good for videos or picture uploading. Some rooms also have wifi including ours. I am hearing not all rooms have it, you might check with the hotel if you need it in your rooms. Verizon has good Internet Service for Hot Spots and Phones, The other big three didn't pick it up any where around Page. Sprint had phone roam only, the same with ATT and T Mobile.

The 19 foot boat we used had a 150 hp Mercury outboard and the attendant told us it had a 65 gallon tank. For a lake that is 250 miles long 65 gallons is enough to get about 60 miles round trip based on canyon winds and chop. If you make it a straight shot and trim to shift the engine, we went 50 miles up to rainbow canyon and back and burned only 20 gallons, or about 84 dollars in fuel at marina prices. It was worth it, the view, rock formations, was beyond imagination if you haven't been there before. The resort also offers houseboat rentals, and many attach a 19 foot boat along as well for more flexibility. There are other marinas on the lake for fuel as well as floating bathrooms. There is also a bathroom at Rainbow Bridge which is a target stop for many boaters.

Overall if you visit, plan a boat tour, or rental, sight see Antelope, and the lake, and enjoy. Up here in the Page area, it feels like a million miles from anywhere!

We just got back from Lake Powell Resort 1st time visitors here. Due to covid there are few areas were open and the entrance fee was waived so that was good. Some things we didnt like the pool was closed even if their website says it was open. I had to call to ask and tell them its up in their website. It be nice hours of operations should include in their booklet or put an update note in their lobby what's open or close, the room was ok, the sink water was so hot could burn your skin, we didn't catch a fish :-(. The best thing there is FREE wifi in your room. Overall we had a great time.

We were surprised to see how calm and empty the marina was this sunny day of July. We were alone in the Grille restaurant and met less than 10 people during our walk along the beach and the access ramp.

They need to share info from the camping site inventory with the front entrance people so visitors don't pay the entrance fee and then find out, when they get to the camping check-in desk, that there are no sites open.

We just booked out 6th year on a houseboat in a row from Aramark Lake Powell Resorts & Marinas. Each time we have elected to do the pay in full option for a less expensive price due to the regular prices being simply off the charts (the have NO competition for price control) We have had some great trips. We have had two occasions where there have been issues. One houseboat couldn't keep the impeller working and it had to be worked on daily in order to keep it running. Year before last the generator wouldn't work for two days and they chose not to get help to us immediately resulting in the loss of food! We complained and they gave us a voucher to use on our next rental. The voucher came with a multitude of restrictions including which marina we could use it at...why on earth would that matter??? Same company...grr. And now the final straw. We booked just a few weeks ago with the intention to go July 5th-10th. We found out my son who has been gone for two years who was due to return home Jun 27th can't return until the 5th. We called and asked if it was possible to change to a week later. YES we do know they are non-refundable when paid in full. But, we were met with such RUDENESS by the agent who did change it for us at a cost and rude, curt comments all along that we have decided that if a 6 yr returning customer, having spent well over $25,000 on your company is treated the way we were trying to deal with a minor change then we are DONE. I get the policy, but kindness is never wasted, on any customer. Being accommodating in extreme circumstances if possible should be at least considered. And in the end, if it is impossible, not being down right rude is always an option. SEE YA ARAMARK

Went on the boat tour of Antelope Canyon. Just beautiful. Boat was air conditioned. Lots of water, lemonade and coffee available. We also bought the pictures taken on the dock. Had a marvelous day on the water. The boat was most comfortable.

Employee Josh Reid was told of my dock issue and promptly had his crew there to assist in corrections the problem. Aramark needs more employees like him. Professional , prompt and courteous !
