Since it's early January, there aren't that many people here. All others are missing out on a beautiful time of year. It is still. It is quiet. There are very nice people who are trying to make a living by serving and registering. If they asked me to come back every year, I'd definitely say YES!!

Boat tour was great, friendly staff, easy to get to. Even elderly friendly as they do provide a shuttle from the meeting point just outside of the front desk all the way to the boat dock.
No wifi in the room, expected free welcome coffee or welcome tea as a resort (nothing!), access in the pool with the key so not practical, crowed restaurants so obliged to take the car and go out. Dirty air conditioned in the room (clean the filter pls!!)
Unfortunately not a good price / performance ratio! For this price of over $ 260 per night, I expect a little more ambience in the hotel rooms. The bathroom is in need of renovation. Room service is bad! Garbage was not emptied and towels not changed. The housekeeping made a depressed impression!
Air conditioning way too loud. The corridors to the hotel rooms have a hospital flair. No elevators to the 2nd floor. You can drag the suitcases yourself. Pool area could be nicely designed. The lifegard at the rear pool was totally overtired. He slept behind the counter the whole time. The pool and snack bar was closed without explanation. The pool toilets are also in need of renovation and do not meet the standard of a hotel which charges over $ 250 per night.
The location is great!
Tip: Be sure to book Lake View. We had Marina View with a view of the marina. That is not so nice!
Our room was not ready when we came in and they told us It will be ready in 30 min. When we came back they upgraded us to Marina view room for the inconvenience. Talk about good customer service!
We booked our room through the resort website. They advertised a lake view room but when we got there was told they were sold out... we were not compensated for the price difference. For a resort, our room was a bit out dated. The bed was super hard as well as the pillows. It felt like we were sleeping on the floor. We asked to change rooms but, was unable too. We had been hiking throughout Arizona for a week prior and when we got to the resort were hoping for a good nights rest. So to have such awful bed was a nightmare.
They have a lot of amenities, but since we were doing site seeing elsewhere we were unable to check them out.
just came to the restaurant..i ordered a pasta and i thought it had too much sauce. i think if you go to the restaurant, you're paying for the view and not the food
Lousy service, waiting an hour for food, no cutlery, uninterested staff take your plate away while you are still eating. Reserved as a group, they are not allowed to sit together, half have to wait a long time for a table although there is plenty of space. I can go on like this for a while! Very bad restaurant with a nice view.
Made a reservation months in advance for a king bed, lake view room for the weekend. Just arrived after the four hour drive, it is 4:10pm and they tell me they have no rooms available. It is because I selected one king bed, which they claim is very rare. They said they will call me when a room is available and they hope to have one maybe before dark? What the heck was the reservation for? Check in time is listed at 4pm. I strongly advise avoiding this place at all costs, it is a complete joke.
Clean hotel, great rate, good food. We stayed for our 10 year anniversary. First time this far north. Everyone was really nice. We did the prepaid option and saved a TON! the other local hotels in Page where ridiculous in price.
We went to the class of how to handle a house boat, and it was very cool. The bedrooms are beautiful, the view towards the lake is beautiful and all the restaurants serve great food
A beautiful place! This area is must see! Go with a group of friends, couples, families. Enjoyment for everyone, no matter what stage of life you find yourself in.
For the equipment of the hotel it would have to be 3 stars and for the situation and the staff at the reception 5 stars. Very nice location right on the lake Attention the entrance costs money. With the National Park Pass but you can drive through for free. Basically, it was quiet and clean, bathroom and rooms but a renovation deserved.
I stayed here only one night,in the off season, most of the restaurants were closed for the season. My lake view room didn't have a great view of the lake, but still not a bad view. Keurig in the room was a nice touch. Room was clean and comfortable.down side was I had to pay a $30 entry fee to get in the lake Powell park.
There are many plans and timetables for participating in the hotel's sightseeing boat cruise on the day. If you want to participate, it is recommended to know and make an appointment in advance, because it is often full during the holiday and the staff are great. Before going on the boat, you will Help to take group photos and come back if necessary to buy. You can see the beautiful scenery of the lake on the boat. You can choose a plan depending on the length of the journey. There will also be an English commentary on the boat. Because of the hot weather, drinks are also provided on the boat, such as cold water, coffee, lemonade, etc. Very good experience!
Very large hotel complex directly on Lake Powell - the lake on which the first adaptation of the "Planet of the Apes" was filmed. There are various ship tours, of which one should definitely take one. The lake and the surrounding landscape are impressive and unique in this form. During our presence, the gastronomy belonging to the hotel complex was hopelessly overcrowded, which is why you either had to make do with food from the vending machine or drive to another place by car.
Absolutely stunning view of the lake and within walking distance, the room was very nice and the staff at the front desk was very kind and helpful. Highly recommend
Beautiful scenery is really the highlight of this hotel. Any direction you look has breathtaking views. The room was comfortable and staff was very accommodating. I'll definitely be back.
This place was very beautiful. I highly recommend. Very clean rooms and friendly staff. The only reason why I don't give it 5 stars is because the food is tragic and the hotel desk accidentally charged me double for 1 night. I took care of it over the phone with the booking company. However, the views, the vibes and the location made me overlook the food and the front desk.
Beautiful property and breathtaking views! The restaurant makes you feel like you're outside with the large windows. The menu is reasonably priced. I have yet to dine and stay the night, but now I'm even more excited for it!!
This was a beautiful resort and everyone was very friendly. However we stayed two nights and were out all day from 7am to 5pm. Housekeeping didn't clean our room or make beds or replace towels or resupply our room. I figured they had omitted our room by mistake. We aren't messy so it was not a big deal. All we needed was coffee supplies for the next day. When I called the front desk to ask for coffee supplies they asked me to come pick it up at the front desk. I've travelled a lot and never had this treatment.
A 7 hour cruise to get to Rainbow Bridge, 66 km away, see the famous Indian arch. On the way back you will be entitled to a stop in a small marina where are served very good ice cream (type ice cream)
Our room had a gorgeous view of the lake. The people are very friendly and helpful. Great place to stay. The restaurant had good food with large portions. Would recommend to anyone.
We attended the annual Bat Festival that is hosted by Lake Powell Resort. It is a beautiful venue with professional staff. The view of the lake is great as well.
Well do not know the other hotels but price performance was not right ... although top location, a real bonanza, but if you do not care for the things also a picturesque view nothing .... would not visit this place a second time .. were also the peak season here .... Wonder if you get the room for free for a good rating
