Beautiful place magical place the only thing that I regret is the lack of animation in the evening after 21h is what is a pity is that in the evening from 21h all the lights are off no animation neither for teens nor for the children here is a little pity ...

Very nice accommodations on Lake Powell. We have a National park pass so we didn't have to pay the $30 access fee they normally charge for a week. The rooms were great and the view of the rocks around the lake were spectacular. The only negative was the lack of water pressure, and be aware that the hot water is REALLY hot, so help kids set the water temperature to avoid issues.

It's a easy, flat walk anywhere in resort EXCEPT to the dock if you take one of the boat tours. It's a steep descent, and can be quite taxing getting back up the hill afterwards. They will bring you up and down the hill in a golf cart if you ask, so don't bypass the boat tours because of the hill.

And be sure to get up to see the sunrises, as you can see in the pictures they are spectacular!

Can't praise this place enough. It was at perfect location and rooms were good. Only issue was no escalator for second floor, but that's ok. You get direct view of lake. Launch pad for boats is right there. Although it is difficult to get to the lake shore because of loose sand all over, you can still manage if you try harder. Boat tours are available. There is a pool also. Nice restaurant inside. Worth every penny.

Very long service in the restaurant, order placed with a server then forgotten and ironed with another server. In total more than an hour waiting to eat a burger, for a salty note.
They are lucky to be the only restaurant in the area otherwise they would be empty.

Don t be fooled by the beautiful pictures uploaded here. While the hotel located near the beautiful lake, the hotel itself is super dated and dirty. There is not internet in the rooms, which is frustrating. Would not be coming back for sure.

Late November. A brilliant, crisp morning. We board the Rainbow Bridge Tour operated by Lake Powell Resorts & Marinas. Our tour boat slowly churns out of Wahweap Marina. Then, the roar. Open throttle as twin screws and 1200 horsepower Cats propel us over the shimmering waters of Lake Powell.

The winter sun hangs low in the sky, as it casts deep vertical shadows amidst the glowing red sandstone formations. A photographer's delight. So many gorgeous red rock views that it boggles the mind. Finally I just put my camera away.

That is a good thing. A slow procession of stunning geological masterpieces reveal themselves as our tour boat speeds across glimmering waters. We share pleasant conversation with dear friends. We struck up casual conversations with fascinating travelers, both domestic and international.

After several hours and 70-km into the cruise, canyon walls start to close upon us. Our tour boat captain touches off three powerful blasts from the air horns, throttles up, and shoots through a narrow serpentine slit of water that cleaves the towering red rock cliffs. He quickly slows, and then slowly emerges from this watery crevasse. There floats an extensive and completely deserted boat dock, which services the National Park's trailhead into Rainbow Bridge. It turns out that our tour has the whole place to ourselves.

We take our time walking up the gentle trail towards Rainbow Bridge. Canyon walls tower straight above us. Suddenly, as the trail wraps around the base of a cliff wall, the massive arch of Rainbow Bridge emerges in the near distance. Over eons, desert winds, a small stream, and cataclysmic flash floods have cut through the thin canon wall to form this 240-foot wide span. At nearly 300 feet tall, it is among the grandest of natural bridges. As we approach, we reminded ourselves not to walk beneath its towering arch. It is considered a sacred place by many native peoples. What a remarkable experience. What more can I say? Then it is back to the tour boat.

Being part of a small group, the captain has more time than usual. He adds a special treat. He gingerly maneuvers his 50-foot craft through a very narrow and very deep side canyon. The captain s mate says she had not been in this side canyon since 2001. In places, you could almost touch the canyon walls on either side of the boat, although that practice is emphatically discouraged. Of course, we finally must ease our way back out. A few years earlier, we could have navigated deeper into the canyon, but a large sandstone boulder, dislodged from high above, had wedged itself between the two canyon walls, blocking further progress.

There was yet one additional detour off of the usual route. We briefly stop at Dangling Rope Marina to deliver and pick up their mail. This remote facility is only accessible by boat. Except for a few barges, which feed the marina s hungry diesel fuel pumps, we are the only vessel at the docks. This remote facility fuels a vast flotilla of houseboats and leisure craft that cruise Lake Powell during more clement months.

This late November day is a bit chilly. But the sun is bright and warm. The waters are calm. The airstream on the top deck is invigorating. We are among the very few watercraft on the lake. It is almost like having the entire National Monument to ourselves.

Off-season is a fine time to experience Rainbow Bridge!

We did the houseboat class. Two nights, breakfast included. It was great. The resort is nice, the views are amazing. Right by the water with beaches nearby. Good restaurants nearby as well. We loved it.

Although the resort is beautifully situated, it does not live up to the high room rates. Checking in is a disaster with long queues, the rooms are relatively small and the breakfast (and service from the service) you have to pay extra.

The rooms were not great. The resort itself was nice. We had to swirch rooms due to a broken air conditioning unit. They moved us easily...but the second room had a bug infestation near the window and the response was..."Yep it is because we are near the water."
We were happy to move on to our next destination

The rooms are wonderful, the grounds are beautiful, the lake is absolutely amazing. You're gonna drive for hours to get there, but it is definitely worth the time! They have canoes, boats and houseboats for rent by the day or week; returning to stay on one of the those is high on our destination list.

Personal opinion. Very artificial and crowded but this is the place where you can book many boat tours on the lake. So it is unavoidable. Haven't slept at the resort though, i was just passing by, trying to rent a boat.

The cruise line is not recommended, Worst experience ever, we have over 40 people coming here with a tour, we booked 10:30 am for the curise. The tour guy is afraid we are going to be few minutes late, so he called ahead of time to see they can wait a few minutes, he talked to the lady and the guy named Ryan. fortunately we arrived 10:29. We ran up to the check-in desk, the lady there told us the cruise left 10 minutes ago. What the @#$%? I thought the cruise line leave at 10:30? We had at least 30 people coming from over sea, they are in a tight schedule, they won't able to go to the 4:30 curise. They are very disappointed. I really think that if we don't call, we are able to get on to the cruise, why would they left before they supposed to be? Dose he(Ryan) don't want to take us? Well, he probably thinking, we are not coming back, who cares!!!!

Lake Powell is splendid. The view from this hotel is superb. The rooms are a bit aging, and not very large. Friendly staff who try to do their best for their customers. In short for two nights spent in peace it is great! Pretty marina 50 meters below the hotel.

Rooms were nice enough but our Keurig was broken and leaked water on the desk. We called to have it replaced but no one ever came. The front desk was nice enough to let us check out an hour late. The pools are nice.

Chaotic check in as they hadn't taken account of our requests or even had the right room for us. The receptionist didn't seem to have a clue! Fortunately Chase the other receptionist stepped in and helped even providing us with a complimentary breakfast. Things did improve however and the place is lovely. Nice rooms and public areas. Food was fabulous we had a wonderful meal, however whist the wine was nice it was overpriced. Breakfast was great and service very good.

Terrible hotel. It is advertised as a resort and the pictures are 100% different than the actual rooms. Our room smelled of sulfur and there was hair everywhere! The staff told us there would be food available, but multiple things were actually closed. We understood with covid things would be closed but they assured us otherwise. Come morning we didn t have anywhere to eat breakfast as we were told. Disgusting hotel and the staff was far from friendly.

The service in the restaurant is terrible in fact they forbade us to enter the buffet restaurant explaining that it was by reservation however I never had information that to go to a restaurant I should have a reservation

The pictures on the website are at least 10 years old. Worst customer service ever! Rented two rooms and both had ants and spiders everywhere. The bed sheets were stained. If you re looking for a resort stay this is definitely not it! If you want to dirty camp this is the place for you. Called two weeks before to reserve a pontoon boat and was told we didn t need one. Came to Lake Powell to rent a big pontoon boat and have fun on the lake but were discriminated against and told that they had no boats for rental except for their crappy 15 to 20-year-old boats. Rental staff was very rude. Over half of the boats were not even in service?? The other half were very very torn up. The boat dock manager said they have plenty a pontoon boat s for rent. I wouldn t even let my dog on their crappy death trap boats!

The front desk staff was friendly and helpful, but...

The front desk staff was friendly and helpful, but that's about as good as it got. It didn't feel anything like a "resort" other than the fact that it faced the lake.
The hallways were poorly lit, badly painted, and housed the same pieces of trash on the grounds from the time we checked in at 3 until when we left the following day at 10. Same goes for an abandoned housekeeping cart that stayed in the hallway the entire time.
The room was poorly painted with wall paint on the ceiling that made it look as though it wasn't properly done in the first place. The entertainment center that the TV sat on had an obviously broken door covering the refrigerator. The only thing updated even remotely recently was the bathroom sink, mirror, and bathtub surround. The showerhead nozzle was unscrewed and sprayed water everywhere.
There was no ice bucket in the room and the vending machines had no water available, but there was a Keurig in the room.
To top it off, 3 hours before checkout someone from the staff tried to enter the room. We had the security latch on, but that still didn't stop him from trying harder to get in. After opening the door the first time, then closing it after realizing it was latched, the person opened the door again and put their fingers through the door opening to try and push the latch off. When I said something while his fingers were in the doorway, he then closed the door and started scurrying down the hallway. I opened the door and his only response was "I'll come back later". I got in the shower 5 minutes later and someone tried again to get into the room, but the latch was still on and they left after trying to open the door the one time.
My wife asked about who it was/ what the purpose was upon checkout. The front desk agents tried hard to find out what happened- the effort was appreciated- but no one could figure out who would have tried to get in. Nothing was indicated on their logs.
My wife and I stayed there in hopes that it would be a great splurge for the final night of our honeymoon. Even after the 4 days of camping leading up to this stay, we would have rather camped again for the final night, or picked somewhere else where at least we known what we were going to get.

I stayed in Lake Powell Resorts and Marinas on July 2018. The resort is about 10 minute drive from Page and is located within a Federal park. There is a fee to get in but luckily we have an annual pass (worked for Grand Canyon as well).

There is a pool by one of the restaurant bars. While they close at 9, if you are already inside, they'll let you say past closing time.

The views are great but only if you are lucky enough to get a lakeview room. Otherwise, the room itself is an average motel room but clean. The WiFi is slow. And the cost is higher than normal as it is one of the only hotels by a lake.

For some reason, the admission fee for the national park has been charged for 7 days. The others were clean and good.

Unfortunately, we had not booked the expensive surcharge for the rooms with lake view. The location and views are lovely. The pool is big enough and with lake view. Unfortunately a bit dirty. We had the day a beautiful rainbow. Almost everything was fantastic, if not the underground bad and unresponsive front desk service had left a black mark on our vacation trip. To the management of the hotel: Please Respectful treatment with guests: The customer has always been king and will always be. Thank you!

I think i was expectng more as i was a little disappointed. I can't fault the views but the price for a simple room was ridiculous, let alone the "entrance fee" you have to pay to get there. Stay in Page and take some photos with a zoom is my advice.

The hotel is right on the lake and is very popular with groups of tourists who also come by bus and who crowd the hall from where boats leave for the lake. To enter, you must pay a $ 25 ticket per car because you are in a national park. I found the standard room that was assigned to me a little older, in any case it was clean and large. I recommend, even if a bit expensive, one of the boat trips on the lake. For dinner a good option may be the Latitude restaurant
