The customer service is outstanding, views are amazing. The only down fall is the rooms need update: light bulbs didn t work, the bed isn t soft, the blanks are scratchy, the shower head was leaking on the side out of the bath, and the bathtub was squeaky and sinks in when you step in. For how much we spent I would think at least the beds would be comfy.

This was an amazing spot! Beautiful sites and the neighbors were friendly and out there for fun! Only problem is no showers which is a biggy for me since we're on a road trip
Did not have the room I requested. Queen bed instead of king. No one is EVER at the front desk. Not necessarily the cleanest place. The in-wall A/C unit was a champ!(best part of the facility IMHO.
$ 200 dollars I have to work very hard just to sleep in a hotel, for luxury? Not crazy I pay them, the beach far away there is no parking near $ 30 dollars the entrance and another $ 30 if you take a boat or trailer there are no bathrooms available nearby for nature's call
Very nice place. But alas for those who go to the page only for the antelope canyons it is half a rip-off because it is inside the Glen canyon. So you have to pay 25 dollars to access the hotel. I do not recommend it for winter periods, as there are limited or no offers for cruises and boat or jet skis. Apart from this great stay. Very spacious room is quiet. Parking available in front of the buildings.
Amazing they charge $169+ for a dirty, run down, and honestly pathetic room. If that's not bad enough they stick over $20 in miscellaneous fees per night. I would suggest they visit a good hotel and compare to see why they are running a sham. Maybe at a level of Motel 6 and charging Marriott prices.
My husband and I camped here for two nights during our 30 day road trip from NYC to Los Angeles, Lake Powell was the most beautiful place we visited. The campsite is bare in terms of plants but there was a lot of wildlife to enjoy and the facilities are excellent.
On the edge of the lake Please note that you have to pay 30 dollars at the park to access the hotel Receptionist not very pleasant but I still got my room for 2:30 p.m. The lobby is completely and continuously overrun with people doing the boat tours. The lobby, like the bar and the swimming pool, are therefore full of people who are not hotel guests It's noisy and painful, but it's a tourist factory ... Fairly decent room in a pretty and well-kept garden The guest pool is small but not crowded The prices for drinks and hamburger are correct at the bar with two very nice waiters The drink, sandwich and salad shop is very expensive (for people on the boats ...)
The access to the hotel is strange. Easy to navigate to the hotel. The registration desk attendents are super friendly. The rooms are spacious and have basic amenities including TV , tea pot , iron. You can get a microwave upon request. The view is simply amazing. You can walk around the hotel with a Pathway and the view is really good. You can arrange for boat tours from the hotel . There is a gift shop in the hotel to get basic stuff for your travel. There is ample parking available for each room. There is infact a gas station as well within the premises There are two view points close to the hotel. Horshoe Bend is also close by.
Good place to park boats. We ended up staying our while trip in the marina because our houseboat broke, and it was good for staying, although there wasn't much to do except eat at the l37 resteraunt, which does have good smoothies.
We booked here for one night when we were awed by the beautiful pictures of Lake Powell. Seeing the price higher than other hotels in the area, we expected some sort of luxury experience. Unknown to us was the dated hotel, the building seemingly built a generation ago and never updated since, with old bathrooms and leaky sinks.
Worse however, was the service:
The front desk was unhelpful, unwanting to orient us in any way to the resort; we had to ask specifically about every activity after seeing then posted.
The boat tour desk was completely detached, having no explanation/photos/description of what the tours actually included. It looked as if she was selling the most boring overpriced experience yet, which for 64$ US would get you 1,5 hours in a boat full of 90 loud agressive tourists.
Our room s soap dispenser didn t give out any, so of course we thought it was empty. When we asked for a soap refill, we instead found the soap opened, and indeed full, but still not working; it was left open on purpose to show us that there was soap, but the service didn t check that it actually worked because there was a hole in the bottle preventing any dispensing. An obvious obnoxious gesture.
At the restaurant, barely any english and actual contact by the wait staff.
Finally, at check out, we did not look our happiest. We had wondered what to answer when they asked us how was our stay; they didn t ask, either they don t care or they just know how bad it was.
P.-S. There is a mandatory 30$ private vehicule entry to the NPS Glen recreation area which is ok if you actually expect to use the national park, but we were just there for the night. The Glen pass does NOT incluse horseshoe bend, another 10$ (worth it).
All in all the most expensive and worse hotel of our week in Arizona. 235,05 USD. Save yourself time and money: stay at the Grand Canyon longer.
Atmosphere is one in a million! Everything is great. When we were there a fire was burning in Southern Utah and there were tons of smoke. But we enjoyed our stay very much!
Lake Powell is a beautiful lake, but when it comes to resort it's very average. The people that work there are rude and don't know how to accommodate to their guest. The ice machines have no ice, the shower heads are broke, the food is lame, etc. I would not recommend staying here. There's a holiday inn right down the rode that would do a better job than the people that work at Lake Powell. Save your money and stay elsewhere.
The hotel accommodations are what you would expect. Well maintained and clean. I recommend the marina view room - the sun rises on that side, over the water and buttes in the distance. Minus 1 star because the restaurant was what can only be described as a complete disaster, at least the night we had a reservation there.
We spent two nights here this past week and enjoyed ourselves. The accommodations are very nice, clean and comfortable. There are several options for dining and the food was good but a little pricey. Our only complaint was that true internet service was not available in the rooms - only the lobby - which is too inconvenient in this day and age.
Staff were lovely and helpful even though I had turned up early, let me relax at the pool, much appreciated in this heat. Room is nice and comfortable. Stunning views of the lake.
This place is great, if you have a boat or a boat rental. The views are stunning, the rooms are clean, the staff are friendly and helpful, the grounds are well maintained, and all the restaurants are pretty good too. The resort is close enough to Page to hop into town and get any essentials for better price. The only down side; it's large. Be prepared to walk around the resort to get to where you need to be. The marina is convenient and mooring your boat is a great feature. After you get there, head into Page and grab a few essentials as there is a small refrigerator in each room. Snacks, water, booze, and the things you need for a day on the boat can be ready in your room.
Our campsite was very nice and we had a tree of shade donated. The toilet and showers are cleaned once a day and then look accordingly in the evening (a shame). Washing clothes with only two whole washing machines is quite tedious with a well-stocked campground. The staff in the shop could also be friendlier.
Our houseboat rental was very disappointing. It was expensive and at least the basics of promised supplies and functioning equipment was expected. The generator kept quitting, the refrigerators did not keep the food cold and it was infested with mice and ants. Furthermore, the specs indicated the houseboat would be stocked with dish soap, coffee filters and hand soap in the bathroom which there was none. We inquired as such and all that was later provided were coffee filters and no means to wash dishes or hands. We had to sleep outside and/or on our ski boat. I would do Lake Powell again but not on a houseboat, I would just camp as that is what we essentially got for $4,600. Their customer service has still yet to respond to my concerns. And if you decide to go ahead, get your own map that actually has the buoys on it, the map they provide is a joke.
The resort as a whole is showing its age. Carpet in the room is showing wear. I ll It is off season, and the resort is minimally staffed, which in itself isn t a problem, however the room was pretty grimy. The bathroom sink looks like it hasn t been cleaned in years. The sink overflow vent was clogged with grime and hair, it s pretty gross.
COCKROACHES!!!! Run far far away! This was the worst experience ever. Not only did we find 2 live cockroaches in our room, they were not going to switch our rooms until we complained for over an hour! It was like 10 pm by the time we got a new room. The next day we were checking out (because we were so disgusted) and I wanted management to know about our stay. They barely apologized but gave us a "free" breakfast coupon (at 10:30 am, breakfast was closing and lunch service was starting and they weren't going to accept the coupon). I was even more outraged! You give us maybe $25 for leaving our stuff in a room with cockroaches! Disgusting. I should have received a refund! Worthless company, horrible resort, completely overpriced - Honestly the next night we stayed at a Best Western plus or something cheap with last minute availability and it was 10x nicer and updated. Save your time, money, and energy! NEVER AGAIN!
Between planning a last-minute, week-of trip to Lake Powell & reading these reviews, I was a bit nervous about the boat rentals here. Being last minute we couldn't pre-book a powerboat any longer. So we went to the office the day before (Thursday) we wanted a boat for Friday / Pioneer Day & it was a really busy weekend & they couldn't promise we'd get a boat. The supervisor Lynn was super sweet & just asked us to try our luck after the morning rush on Friday (because it was busy + social distancing the reservations). So we showed up on Friday around 10:30 am, it was really chill & we were able to get a boat for a half day / 4 hours. David gave us a good 20-minute run-through for our 19' powerboat & we were cruising by 11:30. It was a beautiful perfect day for my husband, dog & I! The boat was clean & well-maintained although they aren't the prettiest boats (rentals to be expected), it was a great, more than comfortable, fun day for us. You gotta come in at 4pm to gas up & return the boat by 4:30. All in all we for sure to rent with them again!
First impression - front desk staff. I asked the woman helping me a couple of questions about where to find the boat we rented and restaurants and felt like I was inconveniencing her. Second, it was cold, but my kids and I went to sit in the hot tub. There was a HUGE cart of dirty towels and not a single clean one. Third, the restaurant- we had great service fro our waitress named Anca, but the food was terrible. My husband found a hair. My 13 & 15-year olds didn t eat much, but we paid $26 for them. It was really bad food. We haven t stayed through the night yet, but my experience has already been really disappointing for a $250+/night stay.
Don t be fooled by the name, this is surely not a resort - except of the price! The rooms including the bathrooms are very old, dark and very dirty. You feel like you are back in the 80 s but just dirtier... The tiny shop in the lobby doesn t have nearly enough of anything to feed everyone and the walk down to the lake feels like walking next to train tracks. The location, of course, is the only upside of this place. But they charge you an extra $30 for that when you enter the park the hotel is located in, so another $30 on top of the horrendous room charge already. STAY AWAY IF YOU CAN AVOID IT!!!
Very nice resort. Restaurant staff were really gracious and helpful. Hot tub and swimming pool clean as well as rest of hotel. Boat tours were fantastic.
Our first Family vacation to Lake Powell! Our stay was end of June 2020 and with the Covid-19 pandemic we we re excited to get out and have some fun. We made our reservation back in November 2019. We did a package deal. 5 nights at the resort and 2 days for the weekender boat. Total price $3,200 plus a 11 hour drive 727 miles to get there.
The resort and the views are magnificent! The room was hot every night. I m assuming it was Hot in the room during the day but we were out enjoying the water. Our room had sliding closet doors that kept on falling off the tracks and fell over a few time when you try to open or close them. The entertainment table with TV had surface water damage. The soda machines were never stalked. The snack machine did not work. One of the ice machines did not work but one ice machine was more than sufficient. The pool was closed and the hotels pools in Page Arizona were open. My opinion is use the pool at your own risk. If the pool is closed they should have offered a discount on the room or a discount to do anything else, maybe a food discount. O wait the restaurant was closed and the bar was closed. But they did say the restaurant will be open for take out on the weekend.
Now Friday came and we were all excited for our weekender boat reservation at 8am! I headed off to the front desk and asked were I should go for our 8am boat reservation. At my surprise its not at the resort were you over look all the boats at the boat launch and were the boat tours are at. FYI boat tours were also closed for our entire stay. The kind lady said unfortunately the boat rentals are not taken care of at the resort you need to drive down the road and after you cross the Utah/Arizona boarder turn right. We all drive down to the area she said and we get right there at 8am. I ask the person that looked like he was in charge and asked were do we go for our 8am boat reservations. He replied At the end of the line that went all the way around the building. He also expressed to only have the 1 person that made the reservation to get in line and the rest of my family need to leave . Before telling the rest of the family to head back to the resort and I would pick them up at the docks over there, I asked the first person in line how long he had been waiting? He replied since 7am. Maybe its just me but I was not wanting to stand in line for an hour! We made the decision to go get breakfast and come back in an hour. I returned by myself and told the family I will call when I m heading that way. I m thinking it should only take an hour because when I get there I m 3rd in line. Nope, after waiting an hour in line I finally get inside the nice air conditioned building. Only took me about 5 minutes to complete the paper work when the gentleman said to go out the back door and there will be someone waiting for me to take me to the boat. When I step out the back door I was shocked to see another line of people. So another 30-35 minutes I wait in that line to give the next gentleman my paper work and he tells me to go to the other side of the dock and stand in that line because the boat we need is over there. I get the the other line and cut to the front to ask the gentleman over there if this boat is over here with him so I do not stand in another line for nothing. To my surprise he says the boat is not over here and I need to go back to the other line I was just in. My reply was please help me! I have been trying to get on this boat since 8am and its now past 11am. He find a person that can take me to the boat and go over all the instruction.
I will make this part fast and just list the part that made me say I m done! Fuel tank is under 3/4 and to top it off I need to take the boat to another line and have it filled, along with the empty propane tank. I asked if they had another, or different boat. Unfortunately they said they are all booked. I asked for a discount or if I could bring boat back at 6pm and not 4pm. Nope. So I cancelled
Very nice place to take pictures and relax. The excursion possibilities are great the weather always fits because it hardly rains there. In the vicinity are good shopping. And you can not get enough of the landscape, especially in the evening when the sun goes down. Is definitely an alternative to the Hoverdamm where everything costs a lot.
Well located hotel on Lake Powell. With beautiful and well-kept sleep and bathroom. Terrace that gives a view of Lake Powell but cannot really be used due to the warm air emissions from the room air conditioner that opens onto the terrace. Furthermore, great hotel with a restaurant with good value for money.
Nice resort, beautiful view! Room is fine. Swimming pool is good too, maybe a bit shallow. WiFi works quite well too. Is a nice distance on the town of Page
This hotel is a true gem. There is no reason to stay at chain when you can stay here. The staff was so helpful and spent time giving us some tips about lesser traveled areas. Apartment style rooms were recently updated, clean and spacious. Each room also had a front patio with a bbq! Loved our stay!
The bad, little dated interior and and prices are high. There is a 30 US park fee to get to the marina not advertised so be warned. The good get the lake view it is worth it. The hotel is large but once you are waling it is not to bad, shares the amenity's with lots of campers and boaters so can get crowded but there is space. The restaurants are decent and fairly priced. Staff at Latitude 31 was great (Kaitlin?) the traveling bartender was great and the rafting trip was amazing. ( she asked). It is a little out of town but not overly so and i think the view is worth the drive and price.
Very well located, no parking problems. At the reception staff friendly but collapsed. Large and comfortable rooms with a balcony that overlooks the marina with beautiful views. The decoration of the room a little scanty although good detail the coffee and tea available and free. We lacked towels and they did not make us the room but as an apology they gave us a discount. We were in December so we couldn't take advantage of the pool. It is in an excellent location for visiting the Horseshoe, Antelope Canyon, and Colorado Tours. It is not a cheap hotel but in relation to its competition it is not bad.
I dont understand how anyone has a good review for this dump. Our room is okay until you want to shower, the light is so dim you can hardly see what you are doing and the shower head only puts out a few drops of water. It took us an hour to be able to get into our room because our key wouldn't work so we had to go to a friends room and call the front desk who said they would send a bell boy. Well about 30 minutes goes by with nothing so we call down again and they said the bell boy went to the room and there was no answer (maybe because we couldn't get in!?) Then had to go downstairs and be called liars by the front desk staff while they tried to say we checked in yesterday. (We camped that day) also the restaurant is garbage. Never coming back.
We recently rented M39 which is a houseboat out of this marina. Unfortunately this boat turned out to be the nightmare that all vacationers dread. Many of the utilities that you depend on we re not in functioning order. The air conditioner could not keep up, even during cool morning hours. The refrigerator did not keep temperature even when the generator was in operation. The toilet stunk because of presumably years of use without proper cleaning. It looked as though it had only been pumped versus properly maintained. There was an infestation of large spiders, and many mice still roaming the cabin despite killing multiple with the provided mouse traps. This marina should be ashamed at marketing a fun vacation, charging what they did, then providing a boat to families with children in shameful condition.
Had racial remarks said by staff and guests to my wife and I. Booked for 2 nights but left after 1 night. I guess this business doesn t know how to treat all humans as equals. Very unfortunate but glad it happened so I know where not to spend my hard earned money and advise my family and friends not to stay at this resort community.
