I highly recommend this shop above and beyond all others. I've been buying there for years and will never go anywhere else. The owner is Geoff and he is very knowledgeable. I really sense that he enjoys helping and has the best advice. I have never had this kind of experience in other shops. He even helped us find and purchase a guitar through another dealer because he did not have it. When I bought my bass amp, I walked away knowing every thing about it. I could keep going.... Please shop Revolve, so I can continue to have this sort of experience.

Anyone who doesn't like this place should do a bit of soul searching. If you play the drums, why are you playing the clarinet. Why would you agree to pay for a reed for an instrument that you do not play. Sounds like you were being a douch. I love this store. I have bought three guitars two amps and a plethora of pedals from this fine establishment. The place is small and personable. If you don't see what you want in store the owner will get it for you. Got a trade (decent gear) watch and see how much better Revolve is in comparison to the other guys. I go there weekly.
Never been treated poorly. They're always helpful when I stop by for anything. They do fantastic work on guitars; The only place I take my guitars for setups or repairs. 10/10 would recommend.
Infinitely better experience than Guitar Center. Got great advice and was surprised by how reasonable their prices were. Was also impressed by their selection of used equipment and the fact they consistently update their stock on the web page. This is definitely a store I will be visiting regularly!
Without a doubt the best place in Memphis to handle all musical instruments needs. For once there's actually a place where you feel the people aren't trying to rip you off with prices. I just bought a Fender Deluxe Reverb from them and they fixed my strat.

I walked in with my gf to buy her first guitar. while perusing the guitars, I asked to see the percussion instruments as I am a drummer and a guitarist. This store is small, so the percussion and woodwinds are on adjacent walls. Not familiar with the instruments, I picked up a fancy clarinet and proceeded to try and make sound with it, I was blowing on the mouth guard. The manager came up to me and told me that I needed a reed if I wanted to play it and that they were only 3.50$. So he wanted me to buy a reed. He told me about how I have to wet a reed, but told me to put the whole thing in my mouth. After I did that, he came back and tried to help me insert it on the mouthpiece. All the while he complained about my spit getting on him/the clarinet from the reed he just had me slobber on. I then tried to make a sound. I clearly failed and he said, "You're not gonna figure this out today." I then asked, "Then why did you just make me buy this reed?" He got aggravated and then yelled, "FINE. I'm not going to make you buy the reed. You guys are a waste of time." So we left. Didn't buy a thing and didn't pay for the reed. Rudest person i've ever dealt with. Never going back and hope the place goes out of business. It's a joke. And Steven. Shut up loser.
I have been to Revolve many times and they are the best bunch of folks that have helped me along the way. I have bought many axes and amps with them as well as repairs to guitars. Love them and much respect to the shop for all they do!
I have been shopping here for a while i believe in shopping local and this guy has great prices a good selection of gear to satisfy just about anything and everything i or you could need , if he doesn't have or carry it he will order it for you.i have them set up all my guitars and they do a fine job, if you live in memphis and surrounding area you need to check him out

I went to rEvolve to try out some bass guitars and amplifiers. I thought about it for two weeks and called to purchase it and an Eden amp. They remembered me, financed and shipped to me. Absolutely no problems. Great place to shop.
This place is great. I'm really new to guitars, but these guys got me set up with an excellent deal and are very helpful. They offer lessons which I am considering after I get some of the basics out of the way through independent study.
They have great deals on used equipment and the place has a great atmosphere. The employees and owner seem like genuine people.

Got my first electric here and it's absolutely PERFECT! Staff are super helpful and will get you exactly what you need! Guitars are affordable and they carry a wide variety, as well as everything you could ever need guitar-wise!
My high school classmate (senior citizens) and I have been trading with rEvolve for about five years now. We have made multiple purchases here and have been well treated in every respect. I recommend that you give Geoff a chance before you buy anywhere else.

The gentleman who helped me was very informative and pleasant. They have a pretty good selection for the size of the store with still plenty of room to move around. The only negative thing I can say is they didn't have exactly what I was looking for. But they definitely had plenty of alternatives. I was just too worried about trying something new. Great little shop if you're trying yo get your groove back during quarantine.

Took my Takemine in for fret leveling work which cost $80.00. Got it back, was good for less than a month. After further inspection I notice that some fret were not even crowned but were flat causing worse sting buzz. So now I need a fret replacement. I guess I should have had that done in the first place. So now I'm having it done for 350.00, but this time by a guitar builder, smarter move.

This is a great store I take my special needs client here he plays the banjo the staff is very kind and allow him to play anytime with no problem with smiles on there faces which makes his life great I really appreciate the staff for their kindness.
Great selection of new and used gear priced to sell! You never know what you might find in this place! The owner is local and gives back to the community consistently. Great business plan built on the idea to trade up & often...really helps those of us who have G.A.S. (Gear Acquisition Syndrome)! If you play BASS, ask for Zack Riddick and have him demo a rig...it'll put a smile on your face.
