We bought our Kinetico K5 drinking water system because we re tired of buying alkaline water by the gallons. The system is expensive but for convenience and health concern we decided to have the water system, the year of 2017. I made sure with the sales representative that alkaline water is the reason why I m getting the system. Installation day, I asked the technician of just to make sure, this is alkaline water system, right? And the guy said yes. For 3 years, I was happy with the system and no issue with the service; Every time we get the filter, we will tell the lady we need a full package of cartridge for alkaline water, as normal we get all the cartridges knowing it s alkaline water. Last month, my husband bought another cartridge to refill the water system, and he was surprised the lady gave him a cartridge that was not familiar to him and that s the time we realized for 3 years we re not drinking alkaline water. The manager reached out to me today, he said we need to pay $119 for installation of the alkaline water system because our contract is mineral water not alkaline water and he will base the contract as the reason why Kinetico is charging me with the installation fee. I wanted to be fair on my review and I know I overlooked the contract and knowing the sales representative really understand the need of me having alkaline water for the family. My point here, this issue could ve been fixed right there and then the moment they installed my system, and every time we get our new cartridge for refills, but why NOBODY told us! This is not a matter of paying the $119 installation fee but the quality of service that I thought all the while I m getting because this product is expensive.

Referred by Home depot to get a quote. The day of our quote we got into a car accident. I honestly made a mistake in scheduling a doctors appointment on the same day. Rescheduled and Jeremy cam to the house. Stops the evaluation because he wanted my wife to be involved. Saying he prefers nights and schedules me at 3 pm. First, you blame that I couldn t make it to our appointments. I called you while I was in the ambulance. Second, why the hell do you need to check out my wife to get a quote for a job? Pathetic. Family owned with a spoiled little brats running the business.

My wife and I just bought our first home and wanted to install a water softener and filter system first thing. We contacted 3 different companies that we felt had the best product to come to the house and pitch us. The first appointment was Kinetico and it was the last. Nancy Healy came to my house and was one of the most professional, well mannered, friendly and knowledgeable sales people i have ever met. I want to also make a comment about their financing department especially Cristina Paniagua. She was so helpful and proactive with calls, emails, and friendly manner I felt totally at ease with the whole financing option. I manage a car sales lot with over 15 sales and service people and I was blown away by Nancy and her product. We have been using the system for about 8 days now and "LOVE IT"!!!! Kinetico so far is working out beautifully and I would highly recommend to everyone I speak with. They should also be very careful, I might steal Nancy and Cristina away from them ;)

We owned this water softener and K5 R/O at a previous house so we know what we are getting. The equipment is first class and delivers great water! (12 years at the old house with no problems.) We like the fact that they could install it on the exterior of the house, requires no electricity, and regenerates based on gallons used. Here the installers were on time, respectful, and professional. We decided after two weeks to change the color of the R/O faucet and they did it with no hesitation. Nancy, our sales person, came out after a few weeks to check the water quality and installation. That was a nice touch.

Excellent product. In home sales to have some "pressure" to them, but if you've ever survived a car buying or timeshare experience, you'll be more than fine. It's no where near that, and worth it to hear about their technologies. My wife and I are both engineers, and we can say with confidence that the technologies that go into the Kinetico systems are superior to those in any other system on the market I surveyed, and their team is knowledgeable and sophisticated enough to convey that to the average consumer.

Deceptive company, I would never do business with a company that uses deceptive business practices to get your business. One of their sales people or telemarketers called my phone and left a message pretending to be Home Depot. When I called back the number she left The recording says, you have reached our water treatment decision as if I m calling back Home Depot. When she answered she again acted like she was Home Depot by thanking me for my recent purchase. Then she started to ask me if I ve had my water tested and offered to give me a free water test. I know immediately that s a red flag that your talking to a water treatment company that s trying to over charge you for a water filter. So I straight out asked her. You work for Home Depot? And she said Yes, Home Depot in home services then she paused and said slash kinetico, we work with Home Depot so I told her no thanks I would never work with a company that uses lies to get sales. I really hope Home Depot didn t sell my information to this company.

The quality of the system is okay but several other options can be purchased for the same or less with equal or higher quallity. The real issue is the service charges for things which are under "warranty" and the high cost of filter changes which you can only buy from them. Long term cost is astronomical compared to other systems.

My biggest issue is with their non existent customer service. I would suggest avoiding doing business with this company if possible due to the high possibility you need service at some point in time. Go to Costco or Sams Club for a much better option.

After having a Culligan water system for over 10 years and becoming disappointed in their service, I called Kinetico for my new house. Jeremy was very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. He respected my pervious knowledge of water systems and our water quality. I'm looking forward to many years of good tasting and soft water in my home.

We purchased a Kinetico K5 drinking water system from Kinetico Quality Water Systems, and are extremely happy with our unit. Our sales person, Nancy Healy, first conducted the sales presentation for my husband. But because I was out of town, I did not see the presentation and was reluctant to make the purchase. However, Nancy was kind enough to return to our home to conduct the presentation for me, and I was completely sold.

Nancy was prompt, courteous, and extremely knowledgeable on the water quality in the Las Vegas area. She conducted the water analysis tests of our untreated tap water, and clearly explained how unhealthy the untreated water is in our area. She coordinated the installation and followed up to ensure the unit was delivered and installed as promised.

Several weeks after the installation, she even returned to our home to make sure we fully understood how best to use and maintain our system. She even conducted additional water quality tests to demonstrate that our unit was functioning properly, and that the water quality was optimal.

Thank you Kinetico Quality Water System for a fantastic drinking water treatment system!

I purchased a unit about three months ago. Water quality is great and I could instantly taste and feel the difference. I've had an ongoing issue with the pressure to my refrigerator (not making ice) I've looked up the issue and it's known industry wide regardless of manufacturers. I've had to have reps out to my house twice to address the issue and both times the customer service was great with the office and with the technician. Overall my experience has been great. I understand things come up with home improvements and they have done a great job addressing them in a timely manner.

We have had garage leaks, low preassure, now a leak on the fridge enough is enough the install was nothing less than a joke. The water line is visible and in the cabinets blocks dishes and storage. A complete waste of $6000 dollars. Save your time and money. We want a refund and a complete removal of your system from our house!

It's well known Kinetico Whole House Water Treatment is the Best in Clark County. Most likely in the nation. I always have said to invest in yourself.
What I mean by that is Take care of you!!! What you put into your body is extremely important. Hydration. The water we drink, and shower we use especially here in Clark County is known for being hard. Be careful what you ingest. I'm taking care of my family including my furr babies. Mark was Great, Installation was fast. Plus one of my biggest investments My House is covered.

I have had a Kinetico water system for over 2 year...

I have had a Kinetico water system for over 2 years. You would think for the price they charge they would offer superior customer service but they are the worst. They offer horrible 30 day warranty on an install, with a 109 service call for any future issues. You would think you when you pay about 8 times the amount of a average system that they would try to go above and beyond to help a customer.

I own their top of the line system and I used to have a box store system that cost 10 times less than this system and I couldn t tell the difference. When I asked them to test my water I was hoping to get some kind of detailed report. The tech came to my house with a Is he really making me do this look and left a paper that said Water good .

If you want the Rolex of a water system with Walmart customer service buy this brand. If you want to pay the price of an average water system that s equivalent to a service call to replace the filter on this system every 2-3 years buy this.

Sorry to say the deal breaker is the service this company gives. Try to call them and see what kind of vibe you get. I would recommend any system but this one.

Love the equipment. Had a water softener for years in another state. It worked very well. However, HATE the fact that the current local distributor has a monopoly in the area. Very expensive RO filters can only be purchased from them and only they can service the softeners and RO units. They only offer 30 day warranty on repairs yet the softener uses so little salt that it can take far longer than that for an issue to resurface. Then they hit you for another service call which you pay if they find a problem or not. Unfortunately I would not purchase another Kinetico for these reasons.

Amzing customer service! I went in to look for a part for my Reverse Osmosis system (non-Kinetico). Bob looked for the part I needed, but did not have it. He found a way to fix the part I was needing to replace, and thus fixed my issue. I appreciate his willingness to help, even though my system wasn't from his company.

Mark, the salesperson, was wonderful. No high pressure tactics and understanding of my concerns. I've also noticed no more hard water spots on my dishes and sink and love that I don't have to worry about not showering at certain times during regeneration. I've also had the osmosis installed and hooked up to the icemaker. It's great having ice that doesn't smell. I've had Kinetico in the past and am happy to be back. Highly recommend.

I purchased this system 3 years ago. The system, when it works, is amazing. About 6 months after it was installed we noticed that it wasn't using any salt. I called and was told it was a salt jam. Pour a cup of hot water in and stir it.
A few months go by and same thing, called, same reply. Kept calling. Same answer.
Finally after 2 plus years I asked for it to be checked. Terrific Technician came out. The salt barrel was still full of salt and now water. Found out the system was faulty. There was a missing valve and the system never worked. The missing valve was replaced and now we have great water.
Bottom line...I replaced all the sink fixtures, toilets and shower heads when I moved here. Now I have to replace them again because they are corroded not to mention all the extra cleaning products and personal bath products I had to buy because the system didn't work and to add insult to injury I have a bill for $109 to install a working system after paying $6000 for a defective system.
I wish there was another dealer in the valley. One that actually provided actual service.
System is great. Technician excellent. Office personnel act like they couldn't care less and hate their job.
I haven't paid the bill yet and I am disinclined to pay it.

I would like to add an update.
I did pay the bill and shortly thereafter received an apology and a refund.
A few days ago I did experience an issue with my reverse osmosis drinking water system. I experienced a leak that appeared to be caused by a poorly engineered or defective part that failed. It was a simple fix that my son could handle. He spoke with Tanaya about picking up the part. After a little discussion about which part, Kinetico made sure that the part was available but also provided some other additional parts and tubing at no charge.
I am pleased to say that their service department has redeemed themselves in my opinion. I am certain the new part will provide trouble free drinking water for my family for years to come and I wish them continued success with the best water treatment system I have ever had.

Not long after I put in a request for a quote on the main Kinetico website, I got contacted by Liz from Kinetico Quality Water Systems the local authorized dealer in my area. They were very friendly, and wanted to get me all I needed as soon as possible. Liz scheduled an appointment for both my wife and I at my home. She verified the time and date a day or two before the representative would arrive. The representative, Charlie, showed up on timeout was very kind. He did a neat demo showing the difference between my water(actually testing my water), and softened/filtered water(he used my water, and ran it through a small demo system). He told us how we could conduct similar tests with very inexpensive tools, so that even if we did not choose them, we could have some awareness of the water we are using. After Charlie did all this, he gently asked if we were interested in a system, no pressure. Charlie showed us on his computer quite a few benefits and drawbacks of many systems, and we really excited about this stuff the whole time. After we chose a system we liked, he did his best to get us the best price by giving us all applicable discounts, and helping us get financed. We have yet to get the system installed, but so far, this team has showed us that there are a few good businesses out there trying to do what's right by their customers. We are very happy with them right now.

I walked in with intent to buy a filtration system for my newly built home. After I walked in one of the representatives asked if I was there for filters. I said I was but was corrected abruptly, apparently I misunderstood that she ment filter replacements not a filter system. I was told to wait and she left without any courtesy or formal greeting. I left because I felt unwelcome. Unfortunately, Kinetico was recommended to me and if this is a reflection of their service I would rather save the headache.

Smart people. It may be a little more expensive in the beginning but by the time you have reached a few years you will have saved some money. They are knowledgeable and care about what you think. We got the RO system and the whole house Water softener and purifier. We need that here in Las Vegas, NV. After living here for over 23 years we could no longer afford the new Dishwasher. You have to replace your Dishwasher and Hot water Heater every few years because of the water. So glad we bought the system. They also have a payment plan. Thank you Kinetico.

Bought my system 2 years ago and the company never came out to test the water after the install was complete. Now they want to charge me to come out and test it when they were suppose to do it when i bought the system. I like the system but for $6,000 dollars I would expect for them to hold up their side of the deal and at least make sure my water was adjusted correctly without forcing me to pay more money! I wish their service was as good as the system itself. Thanks for sticking me with hard water when I bought this system to get rid of it!

UPDATE
So after emailing corporate my complaints I was told they have no legal authority over the local dealer but would forward my email to them. After a couple of days I was contacted and told someone would be out to fix the issues free of charge. The guy came out and did a fantastic job getting everything corrected. Although I am aggravated that I had to go that distance to get this taken care of, I am happy that they made things right. I would just tell anyone thinking of using this company that the system truly is fantastic... just make sure to test it and have them adjust it if necessary within the first month! I love how soft the water is now so thank you!

Even though my system is still under warranty, I am being charged $119.00 for Kinetico to come out to make the repair. I don t think it s right to charge a trip fee to repair an item under warranty. For this reason, I would not recommend Kinetico to others, and will not purchase from them in the future.

Horrible experience! They are very deceptive and conniving. My water softener system stopped working and the technician informed me that replacing a part would get it running again. However, they cannot test the water immediately to show me that it's working because it takes approximately 1 week for the water to cycle through the system after a reboot. Needless to say I waited one week and a half and I still don't have soft water. Now they want to charge me again to come out and test my water! Absolutely ridiculous! How can a business operate when they don't stand by their work? How can you charge somebody for repairs and not show the customer that the problem has been addressed? I do not recommend Kinetico due to their poor customer service and deceiving business practices.

Worst customer service. They cancelled our service appointment and when they did Robin was very rude. You would think they would be apologetic because they cant come when they said they would. So we rescheduled. When they guy shows up he said "oh we cant work on this, it's too old." So this company sends a guy out to your house for $109 to hand you a piece of paper with a rebuild quote of $1980! When we made the appointment Robin told us the service fee is $109, and if we have to do any REPAIRS we will use that 109 toward the parts and labor. So the service guy said today it will be $150 for the repair, turns out that was only for the parts! They then charged us the 109 on top of all that. He was here for 40 minutes and the bill was $272.58. Right on the bill it says the labor is $30 for the first 30 minutes then 15$ for every 15 minutes there after. So the labor costs should have been 45$ max. Not to mention they do not even warranty their own parts or labor, so if it goes out an hour after he leaves or doesn't work at all your just out of luck! Be very careful what company you go with when putting in a new water softener. This is a company I will never be using again. They don't warranty their own parts, or work. Then they charge you 109$ to drive a piece of paper to your door for a rebuild quote??? That is something that could be given to me verbally over the phone or by email for FREE. Such a scam. Don't go here, way over priced, misleading information will be given to you, and rude customer service. Lesson learned!!

the Kinetico representative gave great customer service I checked out several Water Treatment Services over period of time and Nancy made the experience so understandable Nancy tested the water she explained everything and came out and tested the water after the system was installed . by the way the installer were great also they would not leave until I understood exactly how to check out the leak control system underneath the sink with the reverse osmosis K5 . so most important though my wife love the soft water in the shower

We are very happy with our Kenetico water filtration and softening system. The water is so delicious and a must with the awful tasting and yucky water here in Las Vegas. The company did a great job hooking it up and have already been here twice to check up to see that it is working correctly. We are so glad we had it installed

Overall, service is very good. Rep is knowledgeable, organized and explained the system in a layman's term. She was not pressuring us to buy, which we kind of like about her. This is an investment on our part. It is pricey, but adding all the $$$ spent to buy bottled water will cost as much in the long run. Also, no more hard water spots in the shower doors, tiles, etc.. We lived in MN for many years (we had hard water there, too) and we had the same system and it worked. Also, the Rep called to check on us, if the system was doing its job. She just did not abandon us after the sale. :)

The technicians were polite and punctual. There was a little problem, the host was twisted. I called customer service and they scheduled someone right away to fix it. A few days ago our drinking faucet stopped working, Customer Service sent a technician and found out that the "Stop Leak" rubber expanded. There was actually no leak but probably just a small drop of water touched the host so the rubber worked its purpose. He seems knowledgeable and gave us tips.

Mike, the salesperson, was great; there were no high pressure tactics, he understood my basic needs, and didn't try to push his companies high-end products on us. I bought a system that is right for my family and that was both more than efficient and cost effective, and now ... No more hard water spots on my glasses, dishes, or my glass shower doors. I also had a reverse osmosis system installed and hooked up to our refrigerator and ice-maker. After the initial install we had a minor issue and called the Kinetico customer service department to resolve the problem; the response from the service department to resolve the problem was quick and thorough. I am glad I selected Kinetico from the other companies that we had come to our home and give use their sales pitch. Kinetico seems to a be a very good company and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Last year in June we had a system placed in our home. When they first installed the unit they did not secure the hose correctly and it leaked in our ceiling. The leak went down the wall and ruined the dry wall and the ceiling. I called the office after the repair was done to ask about repairing my wall and ceiling and every time I called they told me that the manager was not available. So I just called again this July and I did get to speak to the manager and he told me that someone would be in contact with me. It is now August and no one has contacted me about the damage. So I will be contacting a lawyer.

Been a customer since 2014. Their equipment are very expensive, but have a good warranty. Maintenance and refills can be expensive, but must consider we live in Las Vegas; a city with worst water in the country. Ryan, as lead serviceman is got a lot of authority and ordered a second repair on a carbon tank when the first maintenace resulted in charcoal water in my bathtub. Front desk ladies had wanted $$ for a second visit but he overruled them and sent one of their best serviceman, J.D. Ask for either Ryan or J.D. if ever need works done on your equipment.
The only dissatisfaction I have are with the girls at front; they never ever smile or greet you. And for some reason, they all wear black!

Shawn and Jose were very good. They arrived on time and did a great job on the install. Explained everything and were quite knowledgeable about their product. My disappointment was with the sales aspect in that I was not informed that the system would also include my outdoor hose bibs meaning I have to shut the softener system off each time I want to water potted plants! Not good but I'm sure with the professional manner in which Kinetico operates we can address this issue to our satisfaction. This is the second house we've installed this system in and overall it works to a 5 star rating.

I am a full time RV r and wanted some info...the person told me there was no one there that knew anything.... Seems funny since the parking lot was full. Had it installed almost 2 years ago. Kept telling installers not to put it against a certain outside wall. They did it anyway. I'm just a WOMAN!
THIS is the second summer now, when ALL my water is either warm or hot; no cold water. Ice cubes is the only way my pets or I can drink it.

Would never use these guys again!!
