We have been having problems with our furnace struggling to heat our home. Jon Wayne dispatched Justin to our house same-day. He was very friendly and professional, diagnosed the problem, and showed us what was going on. We were very happy with the service!
Completely unsatisfied with this company. Called for service 3 days ago and no return call to confirm. I have called numerous times, sent text messages with no luck. They tricked me into buying the 10 yr warranty deal when I purchased their system in 2019.
Christopher was absolutely fantastic! Very professional , insightful, and friendly. All of the employees are very courteous and professional. They kept all of my house clean while they worked. They worked hard to get the job done and answered all my questions without hesitation with deep knowledge about their product. The price tag is a little too much, but I d rather pay for for their services knowing I won t ever have to deal with my AC unit again than go with another company just to save a little bit of money. Lane was our service tech. He was amazing and very knowledgeable! Explained everything perfectly. Update: once again Jon Wayne saves the day!! My A/C broke last night and my kids, my pets and I slept with the windows open because it was so hot. So today I called and spoke to a Jacob and he was able to get me an appointment immediately. James came out and fixed my A/c !!!! Thank you again Jon Wayne! July 4th weekend (two hottest days of the year in So.Texas). I called Jon Wayne Service Co. I spoke with Devon. She was upbeat, understanding and helpful. I knew I had called the right company. Most service decisions are based on the outcome of the first call. The first available appointment was Monday.
My technician was John Wars. He was professional, efficient and a very nice man to work with.
Overall, I was very impressed with the Jon Wayne team and I would highly recommend them.
I intend to work with them when the sad day arrives and I need to buy a brand new system. It won t be long.

I called Jon Wayne plumbing because of the positive reviews online. I needed to replace a 40 gal low boy water heater. Some of the reviews said they were a little more expensive, but their quality was good. Tech was professional, friendly and on time. Here s the issue I have.....we get to the price of how much to replace the water heater and remove the old one. Tech talks to me about a financing option initially, but when I ask for the total...$6500!!!!! Unbelievable! I m not sure if this is what the reviews meant when they re a little pricier, but 3 other quotes I received were all around $1700.
System was not responding possibly due to a powerful storm. James came on Saturday morning and had everything back running smoothly real quick. Not only did he check to make sure all is well but rechecked to be sure so I would be comfortable throughout the holiday weekend. That's great service !!
Michael Norman was the tech that arrived to my house along with a trainee. Both of the men were very knowledgeable, polite, courteous and respectful. They resolved my air conditioning issue in a timely manner and throughly explained what happened and how they're able to correct it. They gave me a handful of options to go with from a bandaid option to a full-blown option which consisted of replacing everything and starting fresh with warrantied equipment. Michael wasn t pushy and helped he me make the right choice. He s definitely a great tech in my opinion. Two thumbs up!
I had a very nice and courteous young man to refill the water softener with salt crystals. He was efficient and got help by phone to change the time the softener would run but kept it as is after explaining the consequences of doing so. He was patient and very willing to answer all our questions.

I had an issue with my ac unit not cooling below 73 degrees. I called this company and they sent a tech. The gentleman (Danny Garza) who came knew what the issue was ASAP and fixed it within the hour.
He explained how the issue happened and even gave us tips on how to avoid the issue in the future. He was very polite and super cautious and clean when entering the house during the pandemic. He was a big help to my family. I thought i was going to have to pay an arm and a leg for an ac repair but i was only billed $107.
He even explained their membership benefits and cause of him i might consider joining in the future.
The customer service employees are great. I bought a $15,000 piece of junk! I bought a whole new system and at the first sign of cold weather the system can t keep the house heated even after lowering the thermostat. It just runs all day. The great thing is they can t get a technician out until Wednesday which means the machine will be thoroughly broke by then. I should have saved my money.

Called Jon Wayne for a second opinion after home warranty company contracted technician that suggested an expensive repair that would not be covered by warranty.
James quickly determined that the repair suggested by the original company sent by home warranty was erroneous. It was a much cheaper repair (and covered by warranty) He was very knowledgeable and thorough when explaining repair options.
Will be disputing this repair cost with my home warranty and filing for reimbursement. Thankful my instincts were affirmed on this one!
I called to get an estimate to have a propane water heater replaced. Mine was not broken, but it is starting to get old. I know the price of the direct replacement unit ($800), so basically I was looking to see how much the labor would be, After the "estimator" came out, I got the feeling that all they were doing was trying to up-sell me. I was asked about going with a tank-less heater. I said I was not opposed to that, but then he started saying it was going to be like $10K, Now, I also know how much a tank-less heater actually costs, so I felt that was crazy. Then he tried to talk me into an electric unit for some reason. I did not like that idea either, and could not understand why they could not just give me an estimate for replacing what I have with another one like it. I finally got an estimate for that which was not totally crazy (although still high), but I was not happy about trying to up-sell me for something i did not need. I'm glad I did not actually need to replace it immediately.
Bobby was super nice and thorough. He repaired two faucet fixtures at no cost during my plumbing evaluation. I have a lot of pets and every one of them loved him. If you have pets and need a knowledgeable plumber, ask for Bobby!

I am 100% OK with being too busy to accommodate all of your customers in a timely manner but be up front about it. What I am not ok with is promising service windows that you cannot fulfill. People depend on these windows and schedule time off work for these. It is unsatisfactory to not deliver your product if you say you will be available during these times. After two days without water to my home I was able to get service from Joe. He was super professional and fixed my issue in less than an hour. I have NO issues with the technicians; however, I do have issues with the scheduling department. The next time I have issues with my plumbing, I will be seeking a different company unfortunately.
Amazing experience. Estimate on same day I called, left me a loaner AC unit and did full central AC and furnace unit replacement the next day along with zero upfront financing. Showed up in force with 3 trucks and crews.
As always, John Wayne A/C service is by far, the best company to do business with. I called today to have my A/C annual service performed. Although I live far from San Antonio, I got a same-day appointment. A certified service advisor (Andrew Riley) was dispatched. He was punctual, considerate, and very professional. He detailed all the work performed and answered all my questions. Indeed a professional.
The electrician came out and fixed door bell, added GFCI where needed, checked other outlets to make sure they were working properly, added smoke alarms where needed etc.
Carlo was very thorough in explaining what he was going to do and showed me what he was looking at before he performed his work. He was personable and took fantastic care of my ac unit. Great job to Carlo and John Wayne! Every experience has been top notch! Eight years of servicing us and counting.

After first tech "inspected" my system (I pay $29 a month for this), he left. It was only when it got cold that night that I discovered that a failsafe in the attic (where he was working) kicked in and my fan ran all night long, although I could neither get the heater nor the A/C on. It got down to 59 degrees in my house that night. The next morning, I called to have a supervisor show up to fix what was screwed up. When I told the supervisor how cold it got, he thought the temp was great and that's how low he keeps his AC (this was after a cold front and the morning outdoor temp was 37. Both could not wait to try to hit me up to get a new system or fix the old for about $100 a month or $7,500. Are they supposed to be SERVICE or sales??? Next screwup will be the last; then, I'll look for someone else to take care of my system.
Michael & James did a great job. They were friendly & helpful. They explained the problems and gave me options that made sense. I will definitely use Jon Wayne services again and most like ask for these guy by name.
George Gutierrez, Jon Wayne's Service Technician, arrived on time. He was friendly, personable, and professional. George answered all my questions and addressed all my concerns about my HVAC system. I was impressed with the extra steps he took to ensure my system continues running efficiently and optimally. For example, an electrical device had burned out which I believe operated the UV lights (I have 2 UV lights installed -- one to purify the air in the house and the other to keep the ductwork clean from mold). When he examined one of the UV lights it appeared to look good as new. But to be on the safe side, he replaced it with a new one. That assured me that George had my best interests in mind. He also took time to show me how I could know the UV light was working. I can now check the unit periodically to make sure it's doing its job and ensure I'm getting my money's worth. When he went outside to check the A/C unit, he vacuumed a layer of leaves that had fallen into the unit. George then recommended a special mesh covering for the unit that would prevent leaves and other debris from falling into the unit. In summary, George was one of the most pleasant and conscientious technicians I've had service my HVAC system in the 9 years as a Jon Wayne customer.
Juan did an excellent job of inspectin and servicing our air conditioner. He communicated well throughout his visit so I could understand what he did and potential problem he found. He made several suggestions to improve the system but did not pressure us into accepting them at this time. A fully professional experience.

Jon Wayne was quick at getting back to me when it came to my AC needing repair. Richard came by the next morning and was very helpful and great at getting my outside unit fixed, as well as checking the inside unit.

Joseph Munera was just a thoughtful young man. He was such a delight and pleasure to be around. He kept telling my husband thank you for his service. So many young people these days don't appreciate the past wars and conflicts! My husband served in Vietnam and was not welcomed home very well!
He explained where we were losing energy and monies unnecessarily, and how we would best be served to save. He also showed us how to best help take care of my allergies and asthma. My husband has to use a CPAP every night. He has multiple issues from Agent Orange in Vietnam.
Granted we probably spent more than we should have but, in the end we will probably will feel better til the end.
That young man should be commended for pointing out things that we never would have thought of. Send him to homes that have people who health issues and your company will skyrocket!

I want to start review that Jon Wayne employees and representatives have been very professional and friendly. With their great reviews it's easy to see why. I was disappointed with their pricing though, after receiving new a/c quote. I feel more and more companies see how far they can stretch their price and unfortunately they were $4,000 priced over one of their main San Antonio competitor's (which are highly renowned a/c system Trane's main distributor) for same comparable a/c unit specs. Both offered 10 year parts, labor and yearly service. But with both I feel the consumer is just paying the yearly service upfront even if they don't live in home for 10 years. Also, Jon Wayne a/c system is not Trane or any other notable brand that I was familiar with. All in all Jon Wayne does have exceptional service but I feel perhaps they should reevaluate consumer value because the 22k quote (for premium unit) we received is way overpriced for a average single family home. Especially since on Trane website units start at 6k for 16 Seer units and about 11k for their mid and premium units (not including installation). These systems on average are installed in one day. Educated consumers are what sets market pricing trend. Just because you can finance it, doesn't mean you should. Also, Jon Wayne had 9% interest loans while other company had 0% interest if paid off in six years.
Very professional, consultation fee gets waved if they repair something. Gave us a lot of options for future work without being pushy or trying to sell. Genuinely helpful.
They said earliest they can send technician was 3/23. I needed someone on 3/22. They called me and sent a technician 3/22 and at a earlier time. Took care of issue. Third time using them. Highly recommended.
Jon Wayne s staff is very professional and customer oriented, from the customer service on the phone, to the repairman who fixed one AC unit, to the service person who provided options for a new unit, to the crew that installed my new unit. They are not the cheapest option, but their end to end customer service is second to none.

I appreciate Jon Wayne Service Company and the good job they do and I would give them five stars if they were more cognoscente of their customers time. I understand extenuating circumstance but more often than not, appointments are rescheduled due to Jon Wayne's inability to meet their original commitment. BUT, let it not be mistaken, when Leonard can actually get here he is nothing but happy, helpful and willing to handle the task at hand!
We had an appointment scheduled from 2pm - 6pm. I had to take half a day off from work in case they actually showed up at 2pm. By 5:45pm we hadn't heard from them so we called. The lady stated that she had to get a hold of after hours to get us an update. After hearing 'after hours' we knew they weren't coming.. but she assured us they had a crew working until 10pm. She called us back and said they would not be showing up today.
I completely understand that it's the busy summer season and unfortunately not all appointments can be met. But what if we wouldn't have called for an update? Would their customer service have had the courtesy to eventually call me and tell me to stop waiting because they were never going to show? Would they apologize for me having to take half a day off? No, we had to track THEM down.
As a professional business they should be taught to update their clients when they aren't planning to show up. We had so many choices to pick from and unfortunately chose a company that has no respect for their client's time. I would not do business with them again and do not recommend them to anyone.

Alex did an excellent job. Originally called for tripped GFI, but determined the problem to be tankless water heater bad motherboard. Alex replaced two whole house surge protectors as an additional service. Great service from Alex. Highly recommend!

John Duncan came out and found the source of problem and extensively detailed the work needed done and quoted us the repairs needed. I paid the down payment and when work was completed there was a reduction in my price because they discovered there was no need to do as much as originally quoted. Very professional and HONEST company. They upgraded my plumbing from 1-12 to 2 as needed. I will recommend them to anyone needing fair and professional work. I will use them again as needed.
Dylan came out to diagnosis unit for repair. Was professional and courteous. He fixed the unit during his visit(high voltage parts had to be replaced). He did not push any products or services on me unlike other HVAC companies I have used in the past and prices were better as well. Overall, I would recommend this company.
