We called for an estimate for a new heater and AC UNITS. The technician Wade was very professional and explained carefully all of our options!

Called for quote for adding 2 electrical outlets and install ceiling fan...Technician came out for quote and I never heard back from him.I followed up with him and inquired where my quote was and why I had not received it.Tech said he would call me right back with quote and email the quote as well. I never heard back from him period. Called customer service to ask for manager but they said they could mail the quote and they did email an inconclusive quote.So I went to corporate office today and received the complete quote after waiting some time for quote to be completed. Bottom line, I got my quote and a "I'm sorry about that" from the corporate representative.
Needless to say I'm seeking a reputable Company to perform the work I need done.John Moore is not the Company I used in the past that did perform a good job I had hired them to do a few years ago.I feel as if I'm just another number in their Corporate system that they can just afford to lose my business...mission accomplised

I am impressed because not only does the company take care of your plumbing needs, it coordinates with the restoration folks to work on the project all at once, and even tried to dry up your home through the night. I had the technicians working up to midnight, and he set up everything, including the blowers and move the furniture all on this own. Bayo, Caleb and Eric were professional, quick and thorough. Kudos to all of you and John Moore.

We had an excellent plumbing technician, Christian, who made us feel very comfortable. The work he performed was exactly how he explained. The cold water hose to the washing machine was rusted together. His work was stellar and I would recommend Christian from John Moore to friends and family. I was back washing in no time!

HVAC PM. Tech was professional, took the time to explain service and provided transparent information on the status of my 15 yr old system.

Electrical team was also excellent today. Derric Briscoe went out of his way to assist me with finding replacement fans when the fans I originally purchased were the wrong size.

The gentleman who came to install our faucets was very nice and professional. He completed the job on less than a hour. The whole experience from the initial phone call to the actual job was wonderful. Always felt at ease and comfortable. Great job!!!

Aaron was courteous and helpful when investigating my A/C problem. He also shared simple and good HVAC system once a year maintenance tips for homeowner to keep the system running.

Jason Hendrix fixed our heater this morning. Service was prompt, polite, Jason was knowledgeable and efficient and he left a clean workplace after completing the job. I will use John Moore again and request this tech by name.

Pedro was quick polite and got the system back up and running just like they said they would.

So much knowledge! He was able to access the situation and give multiple ways to fix it.

I called and a technician was at my home within 45 minutes and the unit was fixed within 30 minutes of his arrival. So far so good.

Very impressed with Christian Lopez. He kept me informed of all that he was doing and in fact did more that I expected. He was very nice.

They are pricey, but prompt and efficient. Dino is a good and quick tech. that can solve a simple problem in record time. A/C Capacitor is a typical issue that does go out over time due to the duty cycle. Not an expensive part, but a service call of 199.00 right after the 3 year service call warranty runs out on a 15k unit is on the pricey side IMO. Good thing is original parts are covered for 12 years, compressor for 6. Another good thing is it was replaced with a heavy duty made in USA part, not a cheap Chinese part. So I'll chalk that up to price for an upgrade! Final outcome....we are cool in this scorching SE Texas heat again!

John Cantu from John Moore was experienced, professional, clear, quick. He communicated the issues, what he was going to do to address them, and what the next steps would be. The only downside to this highly satisfactory experience is that the price is not small, but I'm willing to pay more for confidence that the job will be done correctly and that a professional organization is backing the job.

Troy was great to work with and discuss my options with. We did not do the work yet, but we have it scheduled. I have used the company before, but I don't recall that the service people were quite as friendly, although everyone has been great. Working with Troy was enjoyable!

Fred was very thorough in his review of the repairs that needed to be done. He explained in detail and answered all our questions.

Had a clogged condensate drain. Technician arrived and Fixed the problem within a half hour. Excellent service reliable service they may be a bit costly Compared to using some rogue plumber but their work is guaranteed. Vincent was a knowledgeable technician.

Brandon, Plumbing Technician arrived on time with the proper PPE's in place. He researched my concerns, verified my warranty and repaired the bath tub faucet. Brandon has tattoos of his newborn son's footprints which is the coolest ever. This caused us to chat abit that was pleasant and interesting. Thanks again.

My a/c stopped working and it's a Sunday! I was glad to learn that John Moore has Sunday hours. Everyone I spoke with was courteous and helpful. Pete, the comfort specialist arrived on time. He professionally explained and resolved my problem (I understood the jargon). As important, he arrived with the proper PPEs.

Pete came in to do an annual inspection and was so informative and helpful. He was able to identify and rectify an unknown issue for us, that was caused by another company, in the most helpful manner. Seeing as it was an emergency he was able to contact finance an negotiate the best deal for us. I have lived in Houston for 6 years and have found that John Moore has the most Profesional helpful staff from the phone contacts and every tech that has ever visited my home. Pete is an exceptional person and I will make sure to request him for any future needs. If you want someone you can trust call John Moore and ask for Pete.

The technician was polite and knowledgeable. He explained everything in detail so I understood his recommendations. He even apologized for mistakes made by the office and ensured I was satisfied before he left.

Mr. Daniels was very professional and thorough with the inspection of what needed to be done. He kept social distance and was very polite. He also explained to me all the processes with detail and didn't mind to talk to my husband over the phone to explain it all over again. He was friendly and listened to all my concerns. He also asked if he could check on my water heater (that was fixed by John Moore last year) it surprised me and I really appreciated it.

Joseph Garcia and his partner were amazing. They arrived 30 minutes into their 2-hour window on a Saturday. His customer service was amazing, they worked hard, and replaced our entire AC system, duct work, and fixed a bunch of things other "professionals" had messed up over the years. Our furnace was installed UPSIDE DOWN by someone else, and every independent technician that came after that didn't catch it. John Moore caught it, and it was verified by a different company that came and gave a separate estimate. Joseph worked all day long fixing all the work in the attic, with no breaks. It was pouring rain outside, so after trying to install the new unit for a while, they decided to come back on a SUNDAY to finish the job. He tried his hardest to leave us w a working ac that same Saturday, and I highly appreciate it. This man needs a raise! My house feels amazing and everything is perfect! So glad I didn't take the "cheaper" way out and finally let the professionals handle this.

John Moore repiped our home's underground plumbing 4 years ago and we are vary happy with the work They completed the repiping in an organized and timely manner and did a wonderful clean up. (I did not leave a review at that time.) We recently experienced a small problem which John Moore handled under the warranty. The plumber, Vincent, was professional and on time and explained the problem and the repair so that we would understand it. We chose John Moore originally because we felt they would do a good job and stand behind it. Thank you John Moore Company.

Be prepared to spend double or triple what any other plumber will charge for the same job. Last experience was a call to them to change an under sink shut off that was dripping. Bid was nearly $400. Declined and did it myself, total cost under $20, (plus the $65 i paid for the absurd john moore bid) . Took me (inexperienced) about 20 minutes, including cleanup. Never again. Their ad jingle should say, "Call John, get scr3wed."

Update: had to laugh. After John Moore "responded" to my review, they added me to their spam email list. In addition to their exhorbitant bids, they must be run by emotional adolescents. Explains a lot.

Our Rep Dino was great! Came in and fixed only what was needed! Was fast and efficient. Followed all the required safety and health precautions. Would recommend!

Diego came to diagnose an air conditioning problem. He determined that the problem was a corroded evaporator coil. I asked him whether he had checked the blower as I felt that the blower wasn't moving the air through the house, and because of the fact the Lennox unit was flashing an error code (A750), which I believe has to do with the lack of air volume being moved by the blower. I had to press him to check this as he claims that this isn't part of the AC problem. I don't know why he wouldn't check the whole system. He kept referring to this as the furnace. I am not a technician but the blower in the attic works to move both hot and cold air throughout the house, depending on whether the AC or the heat is running. So clearly it's part of the AC system. He then left. Furthermore, we had a John Moore technician out in May to do a spring tune up. Clearly this technician didn't do a great inspection if less than 2 months later it's pointed out that the evaporator coil needs to be replaced. Over all terrible experience and I will not be using John Moore again.

Alex was courteous and professional and was able to diagnose the issue with my A/C unit quickly and explained in detail what to do to resolve the issue.

Russell Herd came to my home and fixed the plumbing mess that the company that installed the granite countertops and sink left me with. He was very friendly, professional and very knowledgeable in his line of work. I was very pleased with his work. This company truly makes sure that you are satisfied with their work. Had I known that that they do remodeling I would have gone with them. Have a future project that most definitely I wil call on them to do. If you want the job done right this is the way to go. Insisted in charging to pull permit from City of Conroe, (I dont live in Conroe, no permits required). Insisted on moving water heater to new room and closet, and creating Rube Goldberg set of pipes and insisting would cost multiple thousands of dollars to replace water heater. Abacus did it for 1000, in place, and same kind of water heater. Either this kid did not want my business or he is a horrible planner. John Moore lost me as a customer. Go to Abacus, They will treat you much better.

Fast and friendly service. Took their time and answered all my questions before proceeding with the service. Wouldn't think of going anywhere else.

Fred continues to help me with pricing, suggestions, substitutions on lower price options, etc. Although I have used John Moore for most of my HVAC, water heater, and plumbing needs, I have never used the pest control services. I may or may not to decide to go with John Moore on that right now but will need to take care of that in the near future. I know for sure that if I decide to go with John Moore that Fred will continue to guide me through the options.

We had a terrific experience with Jose P. with John Moore yesterday. We hired them for the AC tune-up. He was incredibly thorough and comprehensive. My husband, who handled the appointment, was impressed with his professionalism and his knowledge. Jose made several recommendations, some of which we are going to take and some that will have to wait. We were lucky that we contacted them before a problem got too big, and, in doing so, unearthed an additional electrical issue that we are planning on using this company to take care of.

Mr. Charles is not only good at his job but is very compassionate for customers.

Terrible service. The tech they sent over said they couldn't unclog drain, and that drain pipe needed to be replaced due to it being broken under the foundation. I called out another plumber, and he was able to clear drain pipe using a snake machine. I would not use or recommend their services.

Installed 2 new Trane central heating units. Arrived on time, installed in 4 to 5 hours and cleaned the area. Friendly and helpful, answered all my questions and showed a video of the installation.

Water heater maintenance was completed with excellent, professional, courteous, and friendly service.

David and his crew worked from sun up till just past noon on replacing my electrical box. They got everything done,working thru the rain, just before the storm hit our area. Very professional, always will be my first choice.

Our AC broke down on Friday in the middle of a 100 degree heat wave. I filled in the service request form. Got a call at 6:45am. The lady was helpful, asking questions about what I d seen and what happened. Tech called at 9:30. He was at the house by 10. Problem fixed by 10:30, AC up and running. No extra charge for the weekend service, either. Friendly tech, Nikolas, very professional, explained everything. Adding maintenance checkup to my home from them.
