We serviced our AC unit with a prior company a month ago who quoted us cheaper, then our cooling system broke again. We decided to get it fixed with John Moore based on customer service, warranty service and quality of craftsmanship, even though the cost to repair was more. We were not disappointed with our decision. After the issue was discovered, the part took 10 days to come in. Normally, would of been very distressed without cold air, however we were loaned a window unit for free to keep us comfortable during the wait. We were very appreciative of that. Once the part came in, the team came out the next morning, on time. Jose, Josue, and Domingo were very polite, courteous, didn't get annoyed with my questions, and kept me up to date with the process. Overall very satisfied with our service and will definitely service again with John Moore.

John D tried to sell my wife a $4000 replacement water line when all it needed was PVC replacement part. He looked in attic and bathrooms for things to do. We had a different company do the work for $400.

John Moore is the best plumbing company I have ever worked with. Troy identified and clearly explained our main problem and gave us options for repairs. He went over our entire home, inside and out, and didn't leave until we were sure everything was working properly. We are also going to upgrade some of our dated plumbing. I would recommend this company to my friends and family.

Overall i think John Moore's technician did a good job. I do find that the work he did was overpriced. A pipe was added so that i can pour bleach in the overflow pipe so i don't have this issue again. The charge was $1100. That seems excessive to me

William R. was friendly, curteous and a skilled craftsman. He did an excellent job of trying to diagnose some sort of moisture leak near the commode in our MBR. The seal is only about a year old and the small amount of moisture on the tile floor does does not appear to be coming from the commode. It may be coming up thru the slab from below as there is a nearby a shower pan. A video inspection of the drain system will be done next to try to isolate the source of the leak.

Victor C. used a camera to inspect our MBR commode drain line. He found a separation in the back yard in the cast iron sewer pipe and a low spot with some water in it in the MBR . He answered all my questions and was friendly, curteous and a skilled craftsman. He gave us invoices for several options to address the problems and possible John Moore finance options.

I had a service A/C message on my thermostat and they came out to tell me what was wrong with it. There was no pressure sales for other items which I appreciate

We had a plumbing problem and after paying in advance a man was sent out. He told us that the only way he could tell what the problem was to pull the toliet, at a cost of $499.00. He then told us that the problem was under the house. Repair cost $12000. We couldn't have it done right then so he left without putting the toilet back. It was done by someone else after I called them. He also check out the shower and told us it would cost $1300.00 to fix. Too much!! I then called Olshan, they sent a man who checked the underground plumbing without removing anything. Cost to fix $8300. Called another plumber about shower cost to fix $200.

So if you want to be ripped off call John Moore.

Tim from John Moore helped me out when I needed to fix my water heater as well as fix an older model Kohler toilet. He arrived on time and got everything fixed within a couple hours. I would request Tim for any additional plumbing services in the future. He was very professional and the company was easy to deal with.

Very helpful. I called Saturday morning and the phone service was great, very courteous. The technician who came out to repair the A/C was also very courteous and kept us informed about when he would arrive. The service technician, Charles James, did a good job, but I am frustrated with John Moore Services as a company. When I bought an air conditioner in 2014 with a life time warranty I did not realize that it meant little or nothing. I was concerned with the poor job that was done installing the unit, the fact that the workers had failed to install $8000 worth of duct work when they had "finished" the job. I also had to call them back to repair the ladder to the attic which they had destroyed and left that way when they "finished"! The problems have continued ever since. This is a very expensive company to deal with and the life time warranty that I bought only means that I am indentured to their very expensive services to keep the warranty.

I call John Moore services to arrange a free quote for some electrical projects throughout my home. I was told that one of the technicians would be by on Friday between the hours of 10am and 2:pm. Your technician Marcus arrived on time and I found him to be very personable very friendly and very knowledgeable about all that we were trying to do regarding our home electrical projects. We are very satisfied with the presentation and the quote that Marcus left with us and based upon his performance alone I will continue to recommend John Moore services to all of my family and friends. Marcus I would like to say thank you for a job well done.

Our plumber David was professional, helpful, called & updated us on when he would arrive and repaired our leaking pipe.

Contracted John Moore for pest control and everything went smoothly. Then, two months later I received a bill for 75% of the bill.

The bill was paid in full, in advance of any work starting. This seems like a business practice designed to take advantage of customers who are not paying attention while John Moore profits.

Daniel and sorry I have "brain lock". I can't remember his name right now. Anyway they got off the truck almost at a run and never slowed down. They replaced my furnace and did an impeccable cleaned up. Which showed that they take pride in their work. Solid professionals and quite refreshing to see from a couple of younger fellas. I replaced my electric panel and they provided AMAZING service! Great job John Moore! The technicians were awesome, professional, knowledgeable, and they kept me updated throughout the process.

Had John Moore come out to estimate for what could be wrong with a commercial unit at my store that wasn't cooling... A waste of $100. They left a quote with my employees saying that the compressors are bad on one of the units and the other is froze..."their fix" was to replace both commercial AC units and rent a crane for A TOTAL OF $59,000. That's right, 59k! I just had the work fixed on ten with another company from Baytown... They thawed out unit 1 and it's fine, the 2nd unit had a blown motor and belt. So all in all I only had to pay $1200. And John Moore seems like crooks

Henry from John Moore was on time and courteous and gave some good recommendations. It was a little pricey, but the service was fast and efficient and got my AC system back up and running quickly. I was very happy overall.

Glenn with John Moore was very helpful and courteous and got us the best options to get our AC fixed without future worries. He answered all of our questions and explained everything that would be done during the installation of our new system.

Overall they are not terrible. The people on the phone were great and the tech was professional. They came out rather quick and diagnosed my problem for free. The only issue that I had was they were way over priced. I was quoted almost 700 dollars for my repair. So I called a competitor and only 250 dollars for the same work. Anyway now my is works and it cost about 65% less. John Moore did try to sell me new unit though. But the one good thing about the sales pitch was that it was low pressure I only had to say no once so I do appreciate that. Maybe if they were cheaper I would have used them.

Old Moens valve needed to replace, causing shower to drip when off. It was so old it wouldn't budge, risk of breaking pipe if not careful. The plumber that came knew right away what to do. Explained the issue and the price. Was fixed 30 minutes later. Awesome.

We used John Moore Services for the first time, and on a Saturday, to have our kitchen sink drain unclogged. It was such a pleasure to have a plumber come out who not only knew what he was doing but who was so cordial and pleasant to work with. We also really appreciated the call 30 to 45 minutes in advance of arrival. Would definitely recommend John Moore Services.

The technicians for John Moore, David and his two other men, did a fantastic job. Explained in detail the issue with my water heater and then replaced it with ease. While always making sure they had drop cloth down to ensure my house stayed clean.

John Moore has done several repairs in my house (unfortunately) in 2012. All jobs were done quickly and professionally. The technicans were always professional and explained the process of repairs before beginning work. I am totally satisfied with John Moore and would highly recommend them to family and friends.

Kristopher was very courteous and helpful when he came to our home. He examined all areas of the house inside and out that was/may be affected by the problem and explained everything to us using language that we could understand. We lease the home, so he was on hand to speak to the landlord both on the phone and in person explaining to him what steps needed to be taken to resolve the issue. If I had a choice of technicians to ask for when I call your company for service, I would ask for him.

Derrick is such a knowledgeable professional, in addition to being kind, and an excellent teacher. He explained my plumbing issues to my non-plumber self, so I was clear about the situation and my options.

I was recently given a quote of $2500 just to check to see if there are leaks in my pipes, and I already knew from a previous company that there were leaks. This cost is astronomical just to verify for leaks and to run a camera through the drain pipe. I was told by a friend that is male that I'm being treated this way because I'm a woman. I'm very disappointed.

The Service Technician, Troy Gallow, was very professional and knowledgeable of work needing to be done. Helpful in description of work so that I could make a decision on what can be done to correct the issue.

Although I will probably not use John Moore again, I will say they were very helpful when the scope of our project changed. Monnah especially was extremely patient and kind and worked hard to make sure everything turned out right. The scope of our project changed and therefore I felt the estimate should reflect that. I had to go through a few people to get the price we felt was accurate and Monnah was a huge help with that. I was disappointed to find out that they do subcontract some of their work. I was willing to pay a bit more because I trust them but once a subcontractor is hired, that trust is no longer there. I am happy that the subcontractor for our project did a good job but I can't be guaranteed of that every time.

We had a clogged line from the kitchen sink and called another company first, but was told that their first slot was 10 days off. Called John Moore Services and they set up an appointment for this afternoon from 2-6 PM. Got a call at 10 AM asking if I wanted them to come between noon-4 PM. Said okay and Vincent showed up around 2:30 PM. He quickly diagnosed the problem, gave a price estimate, for my okay on it, and resolved the issue. Vincent was very professional and kept to the established COVID-19 procedures.

Very impressed with the service we received. Informational and work done. I will use again.

Victor is AWESOME. Overall John Moore follow up for just the appointment was incredible.
I'm grateful. I have an unusual plumbing situation with a mother in law suite built in my house. Victor addressed the situation immediately and had a Can Do attitude from start to finish.

The service man was nice, but I never got a report indicating the findings of his analysis of our AC system. He verbally told me what happened and showed me a couple pictures of his phone, but that was it.

Our AC went out Friday PM. I called Saturday morning, Will came out and by Sunday evening we had cool air again! The Service techs worked 13 hours non stop on Sunday so we would have cool air! Great experience, service and quality! Thank you John Moore

Having the same person to come out and give the estimate along with actually doing the work gives a sense of reassurance. Leonard had a welcoming attitude and was very respectful. Miguel serviced our tankless hot water heater. I received a text message and email from John Moore indicating the tech was on the way. Miguel arrived within an hour of receiving the text. He explained the service to me, took care of it, and let me know that because the house also has a whole house filtration system, the tankless only needs to be flushed every 3 years. I appreciated his honesty.

I will definitely use John Moore again.

It took four days with three different plumbers to accomplish the repair/replacement. In their defense, they did stay at it until it was done.

I am so extremely unhappy with your service. After explaining what needed to be done we were charged 4500$ to replace 45ft of PVC outside of our home. I understand that we signed off on the services to be completed and we knew the price ahead of time. Once the city came out to check our repairs we were told that the price we paid was insane. After calling your customer care I was told you guys charge premium pricing for premium service. So basically you guys charge a ridiculous amount and you know it. I will commend them on giving us 5% off after I complained. However it has been a week and there is still a leak and a big ditch in the front of my yard. I have called you guys three times now about this issue and nothing has been resolved. I always get scheduled but no one comes out. Run far from John Moores premium pricing for premium service . Also John Moore I don t want your BS generic response we reached out to you personally yes you did but my issue still wasn t resolved.

Troy came out and put all of our worries to rest! Nicest guy ever! Talked us through all the repairs and answered all the questions thoroughly. I recommend him for all plumbing services!

Dino came to do my yearly heater checkup. He arrived on time, performed the service efficiently, and was pleasant to talk to.

Never fun when AC goes out on warm, humid day. John Moore responded within 3 hours of call and new AC evaporator core and plenum installed by end of day. Its worth using a company that is responsive and has the inventory to effect the repair without having to order parts. However, it turns out the evaporator core had a drain valve it did not need because the new unit outside already had a drain in it and two are not useful. Then, the drain pan was installed not level, so water built up at one end and the overflow emergency shutoff shut off the ac. That was fixed and then it turns out there was too much airflow and water was being blown into the air plenum and leaking onto the roof. Required yet a 4th visit to correct that. Why not just do it correctly the first time with technicians that have a clue how everything works.

He was very methodical in solving the problems as well as being courteous.
