The service technician was as professional as the ads you see on TV! He was friendly and offered honest advice about my system. And NO SERVICE CHARGE... great service. I will most likely require a replacement unit, which is why I haven't used them yet. (Major purchase so I do need to get 2 more proposals). But they will definitely be a top contender... and I will call them for service in the future!

We had a broken sewer line & John Moore came to replace the sewer pipe. We were told it would take a week, but they finished within a few hours. Everyone was nice & did their jobs. John Moore s customer service rep was not helpful at all. I do believe that my AC unit was too new and not worth their while to come out to assess the problem. Does John Moore not service new homes or what????? I am so perplexed on why the rep tells me to use another company because the are too booked up. Even 2 weeks out. 3weeks out. No way. Something is really wrong with me this company. How do u tell a customer that we jus not going to ever get out to your service address. Poor customer service. Run don t walk from this company. Seriously

John Moore plumbing is terrible. You would be crazy to trust these people. They overcharge for everything. Go ahead and ask them how much they charge for parts versus labor. I bet they wont tell you . If they do, look up the cost for parts on line. I promise you they are way overcharging for parts, and for labor. Basically, they are scammers who take advantage of your concerns about your situation. You have other options. At least consult with other providers before you buy. You will be glad you did.

Kiel M. was our A/C Technician and he was very knowledgeable, helpful, and courteous. Our A/C went out on a Saturday night and John Moore was able to get Kiel out to us before noon on Sunday. He replaced a couple of parts, tested the system, and gave us info on possible other options in the future. Everything was done in less than an hour. Definitely impressed!

This 100* weather is terribly hard when repairs include the outside part of a unit but he managed very professionally! I have never been more impressed by any company in my entire life. John Moore and their team go way above and beyond their duties. Not only are they all extremely educated in their field, but also very friendly, easy to talk to and very hard working. They are a dedicated group who will be coming back into my home at ANY time I need their services. Determined and tested with investigative tools that my furnace worked fine. It was the thermostat that was not communicating to the furnace. He replaced my thermostat and now the furnace works fine. Very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Great job very happy ! All Stars! Highly recommend

Your field technician, Edward, called this morning to advise that pest control schedule called for a treatment today. He also very nicely asked if I had missed paying my last bill, since your company records did no show the payment having been made. I checked my computer and paper work and found that my son had signed the last service ticket and I somehow did not receive it to pay the bill. I told Edward that I would be happy to catch the account up when he came. I also asked if he would come inside this time, since I had recently seen a roach running across the floor of my den. Edward advised he would be at my address between 2 and 5 p.m. today. He came about 4:30, treated the outside first and then came inside as he promised. When he had finished the treatment, he prepared a standard quarterly bill and took a check for the past due bill and today's service. He could not have been nicer or more accommodating since some companies can get very upset and uncooperative when a payment is missed. I really appreciate your on-time and effective service and thank you for your promptness in fulfilling the quarterly treatments.

John Moore is the best company. They are very organized and have their customers service really wired. I can tell they invest in training their staff. Their technicians are proficient. I have had some many problems with my AC through the years and they have always helped me with the most honest and affordable option. This time, it was time to get a whole new unit. It had to be done. I can tell you that I am so happy to know that for the next ten years I have a parts and labor warranty and I don't have to worry about when the next shoe is going to drop every summer again. It has been so stressful. They are not the cheapest company in town but at least I know my warranty will be honored in ten years, that the company is not going out of business. There are so many crooked AC companies out there. Am so glad I have a great company to work with. They do my plumbing and my pest control. Always great service and great outcomes. Highly recommend.

I have had two bad experiences with John Moore. Th...

I have had two bad experiences with John Moore. The first one was when they quoted $1500+ to replace a gas control valve on my furnace. I ended up doing it myself for less than $100.00. The most recent was when they came out to diagnose a problem with my A/C. I was 3 pounds low on freon but the tech could not find the leak despite having a fancy leak detector (convenient since they were the ones who replaced the evaporator coils). I had a second company come out the next day and the tech found the leak within five minutes and did so by sight/touch not a leak detector. The evaporator coil that was installed by John Moore was rubbing with another part of the unit and caused the leak. If it had been installed with a little more care, that would have never happened and the fact that the leak was undetected was likely because the tech saw the issue and knew it was their fault. JUST BE HONEST WITH PEOPLE!!!!

On yesterday, April 27, 2015, I called John Moore for the first time and my experience was unbelievable the customer service I received was heart touching and a one of a kind experience. I was stressed because of all of the problems I was having in my home. But within less that 15 minutes I was able to see light at the end of the tunnel. My representative I spoke with yesterday was Renee. And she was the BOMB!! On today, April 28, 2015, the tech that came out was prompt and also did a courtesy call letting me know that they was in route. I am very please and I will be using this company to making my house feel like a home again. The worker that came to give me an estimate explain what was going on in terms that I could understand.. Thanks for the excellent experience.

About 90 days ago my furnace went out. I was told ...

About 90 days ago my furnace went out. I was told $4700 for it,then told getting a new furnace required a new return, & ended up having to pay $5700. Since then I've called them back out 3 times. The 1st & 2nd times were both due to wiring not done correctly when the furnace was installed. The 3rd time was today, the Tech didn't get here till after 5:15 p.m. He 1st said the outside Unit was knocked out by the storm last night. I told him No it wasn't it had been working fine till late afternoon. 2nd Tech said another part was out he thought. 3rd He said no freon & checked with his thing that detected a leak he said, that it didn't have any freon because the coil had a leak. He then refused to fix it, due to the age of the Unit, said it wouldn't due to the age of the Unit, wanted me to buy a new one for several thousand more. At that point I asked him was he refusing the repair, he said again not worth it due to age of Unit (which is old). At that time I told him "Bye", & had him leave. I called another company who came out(due to the late hour by this time, it cost me an $89 fee, but they fixed it. We gave them the diagnosis the John Moore Tech had said coil had a leak, & leaked out freon. So they put a Stop Leakin the coil,, & it wasn't the coilleaking, the copper had a leak which they welded.All this ended up costing me $1000. The stop leak was $229 & unnecessary due to the incorrectdiagnosisby the John Moore Tech, plusthe $*( trip fee because of the late hour. So the John Moore Tech cost me a total of $318.00 , that could've definitely been avoided. I WILL NEVER USE JOHN MOORE AGAIN, & WOULD STRONGLY ENCOURAGE ANYONE ELSE TO BE EXTREMELY CAREFULIF YOU HAVE TO USE THEM.

Andrew with John Moore was very informative and wanted to make sure the electrical was correct from previous owners. He, in fact, found several unsafe switches that were wired incorrectly. I was impressed with him. The main reason I had him out was to change out an old electrical box.

I was very impressed with the time that they came how the worker presented himself and how he was taking things seriously about the pandemic virus. He wore a mask and listen to what we had to say about the AC unit and other things which he fixed and work at a great pace what needed to be fixed and a respectable time. He was very polite get a very great job and knew what he was doing. These are the reasons why we continue to use John Moore services because of the kind of technician they send out here to do that job.

The technician communicated with me from the beginning, asking questions to help pinpoint what was needed. He arrived promptly and quickly assessed the situation. My repair was done at lightning speed, and I am very satisfied with the result. He was courteous and professional throughout the whole process, and I will make sure to ask for him the next time I need a plumber.

Will never use them again! I called them to set up an appointment as my address and phone number had changed. When they tried to call me to let me know they were on the way they used the old phone number that I no longer have, this is understandable as these things happen. But i had to call them for updates on everything which is frustrating and a waste of time. When I made the appointment, I expressed the urgency of the issue and also told them i lived in a condo building. It was only after I called 20 minutes prior to my scheduled appointment time being over, as I had not received a phone call from them yet, that I was told they do not work on condos (even though I have seen one of their trucks outside of my building before). This would have been great to know at the start as I would have called someone else immediately instead of having to beg someone to come out that same day to fix my issue. As I stated previously, due to these issues I will not be using them again.

Terrible. Terrible. We have used John Moore several times over the years and have always been pretty happy. We had a remodel done on our small bathroom upstairs and we just needed the new sink plumbing hooked back up. They were scheduled for Tuesday between 4 and 6. Called and said they were backed up is it o.k. if we move to tomorrow, fine no problem. Next day roles around and 6 comes and goes and we heard nothing so my wife calls and they said they would get in touch with dispatch and let us know. Never heard a word. The next morning she calls again and they apologize and say we will get someone out there asap. Finally someone shows up. On top of having TWO missed appointments they then charged us $650 just to do the plumbing under a small bathroom sink!? Seriously? I paid $389 for plumbing and a new garbage disposal to be hooked up under a kitchen sink which I know is a much bigger project. I'm fine with a company charging a fair rate for a project but this was ridiculous all around. Overpriced, poor communication, and missed appointment time slots... would not recommend using.
