Great experience - I worked with home loan specialist, Larry Honn, for a refinance. He is highly knowledgeable and attentive to your needs. Him and his team did an amazing job at earning my business. Mr. Honn and our loan processor, Cynthia Villalobos, did an amazing job at answering our questions, and returning our emails and phone calls, within 12-24 hours every time. We opened and closed our loan in less than 3 weeks. I must share that I was previously in a refinance process with Citibank that was going on 80 days in escrow....a coworker recommended Intelliloan and I feel like I owe her big time for that recommendation. IF YOU HAVE TOBY AS YOUR LOAN OFFICER, ASK FOR A DIFFERENT PERSON. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH HIM. The loan officer TOBY that was assisting us made requests that had us go through various hoops to provide information to process our loan. At first, TOBY mentioned that the process would be at most 3 weeks to get things completed and loan in hand. However, after many calls and voicemails being left for almost 2 months (after TOBY had said the paperwork would be an easy process and that our loan had been guaranteed), we had to go above and reach his manager to find that we ultimately did not get approved for a loan. Lots of wasted time, effort, and money on an appraisal that led us nowhere. Thank you Intelliloan for wasting our time with incompetent employees.

Excellent experience. The entire process, Application to paying off prior, lender took about 17 days. No appraisal needed. Everything was done online except wiring a payment from our credit union and a notary who came to our house. Every staff member kept us informed. Every staff member immediately responded when we called with questions.

I had very bad experience with this company. I had processed my home refinancing application with Justin Flores (Home Loan Specialist II) in August 2020. This guy promised me total 16 to 21 days for entire process. I sent all required documents within 2 days. He told me, he received all documents and all good. But, he did not finish my process for two months. Then, he start asking me all documents again. He told me two months later that the loan processor "AL" is so slow and he will process with another loan processor. Then, I asked him my Appraisal fee back but he start making so many stories. I would not do the Appraisal if he told me the processing time is never ending process. Now, I am fighting for My Money Back. Super Lier.

I have had the pleasure of working with Ashanti S. who was great to work with during the whole process of the refinancing! I was calling around to find a good rate and there were few comparable rates but no one can compare to how easy it was to work with Ashanti. She was professional, knowledgeable and responded/followed up on things timely to close our refinance loan. She made this process easy, I highly recommend her!

At first everything was going good I was promised that everything was going good and I was just waiting to sign paperwork After I was told I didn t have to pay my mortgage because that there company was going to refinance me I started the refinance due to hardship that occurred in my life but I ended up with more hardship due to lies a deceit I am 100% disabled veteran with a family They should have knowledgeable agents who know what they are doing and saying Now after I did what I did because of believing Kevin Staats. Worst mortgage company ever. Too many internal problems, loan officer after loan officer, promise after promise. 5 months of lies, out $675 for an appraisal for NOTHING!!!!

A big thank you to Felipe Munoz and Vu Hoang at Intelliloan! From the start to the very end they were there to guide me through the entire refinance process. They quickly responded to every email, phone call and text I sent. They were always there to advise me on the next steps to take. Their excellent team work and communication made it possible for me to close on my loan before the rate lock expired (2.75%, 30-year FRM + 1.75% points). They were up front from the beginning about the $475 fee I had to pay out of pocket for the appraisal and some processing fees that were added into the loan. With this refi, I was able to lower my mortgage payment by $350 a month. It was a pleasure working with these guys. Thank you.

I only gave 2 stars because the gentleman I was working with was very polite and helpful. The big issue was with the appraisal. After charging me $450, I was informed that I would have to pay an ADDITIONAL $400. Problem is, I happen to know that appraisers in my area only receive about $250 from the lender. This was a clear case of gouging. They lost a customer over $400. Pure greed.

Called Intelliloan to inquire about refinance options. My main reason for refinancing was to get my son on the mortgage. Was told that with a VA loan you can't change the people on the mortgage, but I could add my son to the title. Decided that was the next best option and proceeded with the refinance. Loan specialist asked for my son's information about half way through the process. On the day of closing, he called to inform me that the title paperwork would be at a separate signing in a few days. It has been over two months since the closing and I still do not have my son's name on the title. I have been given lots of excuses (when someone will actually talk to me), and promises, but still the main reason for the refinance has not been accomplished. If they were not able to complete this part of the process, I should have been told ahead of time. Instead, I was lead to believe it would happen so they could still get the deal done. Very deceitful!

Intelliloan has been the most frustrating business I have ever dealt with in my entire life. We have been trying to close our refi for over 2 months with no end in sight when they said 21 days to close. Our house has a ridiculous amount of equity, in fantastic shape with over 100k in renovations, appraised 100k over the amount we had to be in for a refi, yet Intelliloan says that the Appraisal needs to be reviewed again by another appraiser and they can't find one for over 2 weeks now. Our home was appraised below comps by 20k there is no reason why this should be happening and it is absolutely exhausting to have our entire households financial plans on hold. SOMEONE NEEDS TO FIX THIS!! This is unfair to our family and absolutely terrible business!!

Intelliloan made my FHA streamline process easy and quick. The loan officer and everyone involved in my closing were friendly and helpful. They answered my questions promptly and made sure I understood the process. I got a great rate and would recommend them to anyone looking to purchase or refi a home.

The written rate quote I was given changed a couple of hours after I started the loan application. It is very unsual for an advertised rate to change in less than half a day. The excuse was market changed but I was following other lenders and nobody else changed their advertised rate even the following day. Don't count on their advertised rate. However the agents I talked to were very helpful but they have to follow the company's policy. Not a great business practice to advertise a rate you can't sustain for a few hours!

This is unprofessional company ever, at the beginning I was attended by Miguel Cruz, I provided him all me financial info, he ran my credit and submitted everthing for revision , after all he said that the loan "is approved" and is time to get the appraisal, I asked him many times if everything is correct, because I don not want to waste my money for the appraisal, he said YES you are approved and I do not have to worry about it, the closing will be aprox. 4 days after they receive the appraisal. Well, one week after they received it, nothing happened, never answered the phone, never responded the emails. Finally, 15 days later I was able to contact Miguel, he just said My apologize the underwriting analyzed your numbers in different way that we did it, and now your loan is DENIED , he did not was able to give a explanation, just you do not qualify and then I asked for the $475 that I paid, and he said: there is nothing that we can do .Be careful, this is not a serious company at all!!!!

I started the the process of a re-fi with another lender but decided to contact Intelliloan after seeing one of their commercials. The process was quick and easy. Warning! An Intelliloan Loan Processor was the beneficiary of a FRAUDULENT charge for over $1,700 to one of my bank accounts Would DEFINITELY NOT recommend Intelliloan under any circumstances. I am writing this review to inform others about my frightening and awful experience dealing with this company.

As I was in the middle of a Refinance application with Intelliloan, I received a notification from one of my bank accounts of a large transaction that had posted to that account. I looked into the transaction and realized that I did NOT make the transaction and quickly notified my bank. My bank sent me a letter informing me that the fraudulent transaction was made and credited to someone s T-Mobile cell phone account. My bank also informed me of the name of the person who was the Beneficiary of the fraudulent transaction. And guess who was the beneficiary of that fraudulent transaction????????? the LOAN PROCESSOR AT INTELLILOAN who was handling my Refinance application!!!! Yes, the Loan Processor at Intelliloan who was processing my application was the beneficiary of a FRAUDULENT charge of over $1,700 to one of my bank accounts. I was literally shocked. A couple days later, I received a notification from ANOTHER one of my bank accounts about fraudulent charges that had been attempted to that account as well. At that point I was terrified and knew that I needed to act quick. I closed all of my accounts and had my lawyer notify Intellioan of what had happened. To my amazement, Intelliloan s response to the situation was equally as shocking. They showed a complete lack of sympathy or responsibility and denied all wrongdoing on their part, or by any of their employees. To this day, I have never received any apology from them nor have they offered any assistance in helping me resolve or protect my financial information/identity. I literally gave Intelliloan ALL of my financial information/history and now I have no idea who has it, or what else can possibly happen. Not only was Intelliloan s response and handling of my application/financial information terrible, but now I am forced to get the Courts and Law Enforcement involved in order to protect myself from further harm. What a terrible way to treat a customer! What a terrible way to conduct business!
