The written rate quote I was given changed a couple of hours after I started the loan application. It is very unsual for an advertised rate to change in less than half a day. The excuse was market changed but I was following other lenders and nobody else changed their advertised rate even the following day. Don't count on their advertised rate. However the agents I talked to were very helpful but they have to follow the company's policy. Not a great business practice to advertise a rate you can't sustain for a few hours!
