Let me start off by saying this is the first refinance I ve ever done. I usually buy my cars outright and have been relatively happy with the way my mortgage was set up. Once COVID hit it seemed like a good time to refinance due to all the low rates out there and I just so happened to be planning to remodel my backyard. So I did what anyone would do, I went online and starting doing some google searches and tried to refi with Loan Depot. I wasn t too happy with the rates he was giving me considering I have excellent credit and a stable career, so I decided to shop around. I went to Quicken Loans next and got the same treatment. I starting to complain to my uncle and he told me about Intelliloan. I gave them a call and starting to talk with Kenneth. I quickly knew this was the company I was going to give my business to. The entire staff I have dealt with at Intelliloan have always been courteous and very professional. I have since recommended 2 of my other family member to get their refinance done here. If you can t already tell, I highly recommend this company.

Customer service was first rate! They were very prompt in answering my questions and informing me about the documents required to expedite the refinance.

Initially I was happy with the customer service I received when I first inquired about a Home Equity loan. Advised I had NO INTEREST in refinancing my home- they stated that they understood that. So we begin w/ the basic info- I advise I think my credit score is only about a 610- no worries they said- lets get the app started! Well low and behold I was declined and the rep states that typically they only provide Equity loans for credit scores of 700 or higher. WHY did he not just state that at the beginning? Now I have an inquiry on my credit for a loan he knew I would not qualify for, then proceeds to convince me to do the Refinance on my home- which I had already stated I was NOT at all interested in. I feel very upset that the whole application was to bait/switch me into a Refinance. Not cool

Ethan Andres was very informative with my options with my house and my loan application went extremely smoothly. He's not only friendly but also knows the business really well. I'd recommend him to all my friends. Ask for Ethan!! You won't be disappointed.

Horrible horrible horrible!! Run from them!! I ve called Lending Tree and the Better Business Bureau and reported them. Ali Lodin, Daniella Lamarque and Randy ( never got his last name) - this team is beyond incompetent and basically stupid. Almost went to litigation because they would not fund the loan AFTER we closed because the first mortgage we were refinancing did not send original Release. Any idiot knows not to send the original Release without payment. You may never get paid!! In Florida, 3 days after closing, loan legally has to be funded. They tries to put us off. We got an attorney to call them. Supposedly we are being funded tomorrow. If not, we will sue. And supposedly, Daniella stated they do hundreds of loans in Florida. So why didn t they know the rules! Run from this group, RUN!!!

Awesome Service! Very easy, fast and user-friendly IT system which allowed to download refi documents (pretty straightforward and simple) and easy signing. Larry and Rachel's great teamwork was cool! Impressed by their honesty. Refi rate was lowered by 0.1% at the last minute right before closing because Intelliloan lowered the rate across the board. YAY!

Our Lending Officer was Christopher Cunha NMLS#339437. Horrible experience!!!! Our paper work was lost or misfiled Numerous times.... No communication towards the end of the Loan, and always " I need another day, and you have very right to be angry". We. Patiently waited 9 months to get this loan done, and at the end we felt like we were being muscled into taking a loan at a higher rate, more miscellaneous charges, and all the wrong Numbers that we worked on. Not by $20-40 dollars, it was $200-$300 dollar difference that we walked away!!! He always passed blame on everyone else, and couldn't come through. We lost our Appraisal fee of $475. after he said he would get it reimbursed because they dropped the ball.... Please save yourself time and a headache. This Company is being reported to the Better Business Bureau!!!

I was working with another lender but was getting the run around but Intelliloan was able to close my loan in less than 30 days. I had a great experience from the beginning to the end!

I would NOT recommend Costa Mesa Intelliloan office but If you still wish to go refinance or cash out with Intelliloan please double check all paperwork. Too many people are working on your loan, they don't communicate with each other and things get missed in the process.
My cash out check was less than the amount I agreed on. Once I caught the mistake it took a couple weeks and a few people to handle my issue.

Please just be careful with them.

I was very impressed with my loan officer Rodrigo Arambulo and loan processor Jake Han with Intelliloan. They guaranteed swift closing (14 days), kept me updated and most importantly they were very patience addressing all of my concerns. I truly recommend them to my friends and family in a heart beat.

This was the easiest and quickest refi I have ever done. I have done 4 refi's throughout the years. Toby Mbelu was professional and full of information. Toby had conversations with me about refinancing prior to me committing to refi. He always gave me his attention and walked me through the numbers, understanding that I was a numbers person. He advised me of how much cash I could take out of the home and once the appraisal was done he advised me I could take out more if I wanted. He was honest and upfront the whole way.

The loan processor he worked with Sekani Hamilton was also professional and made sure the file looked good before submitting it for underwriting. When the file finally made it to underwriting the request was minimal. They only asked for 1 clarification which is much less than I have had to provide in the past.

These 2 gentlemen made the process quick and painless and on my time schedule. I appreciate the work they did!!!

Typical bait and switch mortgage brokers. I warned them right up front. Dont quote a price and then increase it once I have invested a lot of time and effort. But that is exactly what they tried to do. I cancelled the application.

I refinanced my home after my divorce and I worked with Randy and Jesse. Ask for Randy when you call, very experienced and knowledgeable. Of course I did my research and came back to Intelliloan because they gave me the best deal that worked for me and because there was no heavy sales pressure, I felt I could trust them. The loan process was extremely easy and Randy was there for every question I had. Jesse was also able to answer all my questions regarding the details of the loan throughout the process. Thought I'd have a good experience, based on other's reviews, but the opposite happened. Spoke to someone named Jordan then he passed me to someone named Ron. Ron, apparently, was a "specialist" in my state but his specialty must only be how to answer a phone and introduce himself because one question was asked, he couldn't answer so he disconnected the line. Tried to call Jordan back but there was no answer their either. Very suspicious.

The question that was asked: "What are your current rate?" This company prides itself on being forthcoming with their rates (it's the first thing you see on their website, for crying outloud), but I couldn't get this simple question answered. Instead, Ron said he needed to know some information about me before giving me any information (sleazy car salesmen tactics). Knowing that he was not making any sense, I asked why he needed to know anything just to tell me their current rates (again, these rates are smeared across their website), so Ron just hung up.

Had an uneasy feeling about this company but this definitely confirms my suspicion. With the MASSIVE volume of lenders out there, it isn't worth anyone's time to waste with incompetence. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for your mortgage lending needs.

Larry Honn is One of the best loan officers I have ever worked with.
He kept his word to what he told me from the being.
That he would make sure he was there and explain everything to me.
So I would know what's going on with the process of getting an FHA streamline home loan. He answers the phone every time I called him
If not he would return my call right away.

I would not go with this company they make everything sound good tell you what your mortgage payments going to be make you get the appraisal when you ask questions about if when the the appraisal comes back will that determine if I get my loan or not they told me no they just called me and said that I don't qualify now I'm out $450 this is not fair I was doing this because I hardly have any money now I have an extra $450 that I have to Payback they're just making money off their appraisals

Rachel Barnes is the best person I have ever worked with in this industry. I was pretty content with my mortgage before however I decided to give Intelliloan a shot and see what the hype was about. I am very glad I did so too because from the first call I made to them to this day, Intelliloan made my life very easy. The process was handled smoothly on their online portal, the communication was handled effectively and response time was amazing. I had some additional questions post funding which were handled greatly by Rachel. She even went out of her way to setup a title change for me which was not required on their part at all.

Their online payment portal setup was a breeze and I have made multiple payments so far with no issues. I look forward to financing my next purchase through them as well. I have referred a few of my friends over to them since and they have also had nothing but great things to say. My recommendation would be to stop looking and sign up with them as soon as possible.

Just had simple questions regarding possibly doing a cash-out refi on my home. Loan officer Mashell Neal took this opportunity to run my credit and put together a loan package using the last 4 digits of my SS#. How he got that, I don't know. I didn't authorize this inquiry. Complained to his supervisor Alec McCurdy 3x now. First complaint he'll review the audio tape with Marshell. Other two complaints, he's ignored! Meanwhile I keep getting junk emails from Intelliloan and have an unauthorized inquiry on my credit. I've complained to Lending Tree as well as BBB and nothing.

Total scam artists.

EDIT... This issue finally got to the VP who investigated. A letter was sent to the effect of you contacted us, per some Act, we had a right to run your credit for a loan package therefore we will not remove this inquiry off your credit report.
Horrible business practices IMO!

I want to personally thank Kelvin Bragg Jr. for assisting me in making an important financial decision. Your Custer Service was A-1. You addressed all of my questions and concerns in a timely manner and thats commendable. I appreciate that you went over everything in detail to ensure I had understanding and was comfortable moving forward. Your knowledge and skill made me feel confident in my decision and made the process smooth. This is the way I like to conduct business. Thank you for your service and your professionalism.

Proceed with caution!!!! After going through process paper work etc. We are now ready for the appraisal. I give my credit card # and it's processed/pending with an appraisal date. That day comes and I wait all day wasting my time waiting. So I call Joshua my loan rep. And he says hmmm I don't know what happened but someone will get back to you. 5 DAYS later still no phone call I check my credit card and the fee is no longer pending it has now posted!!! I called Joshua again I don't know what happened. I immediately called my credit card and put in a dispute. They reversed the charge right away. Now mind you still no call until later the next day!! To late you lost my trust. In case you don't know inteliloan and Joshua charging someone for a service that is never received is FRAUD!!!!

We took out a cash out loan to add on to our home. It was quick and simple. The loan officer was very helpful answering questions, keeping us informed every step along the way, replied to calls and concerns very promptly. The rates were competitive and we closed and receive funds in less than a month.

Samuel Chu was very pleasant since the first day I spoke with him. He had a lot of patience explaining everything to me and made the whole process a very smooth experience.
