Called Intelliloan to inquire about refinance options. My main reason for refinancing was to get my son on the mortgage. Was told that with a VA loan you can't change the people on the mortgage, but I could add my son to the title. Decided that was the next best option and proceeded with the refinance. Loan specialist asked for my son's information about half way through the process. On the day of closing, he called to inform me that the title paperwork would be at a separate signing in a few days. It has been over two months since the closing and I still do not have my son's name on the title. I have been given lots of excuses (when someone will actually talk to me), and promises, but still the main reason for the refinance has not been accomplished. If they were not able to complete this part of the process, I should have been told ahead of time. Instead, I was lead to believe it would happen so they could still get the deal done. Very deceitful!
