Standard luxury hotel experience. Well done out, beautiful interior. You can order all sorts.of useful stuff to your room for free (toiletries, phone charger etc)

However - they kept making glaring mistakes with service. The restaurant got our food wrong several times and made us wait 90 minutes, out of embarrassment gave us the dinner for free.

I asked for hot chocolate to be left with the tea in our room, so they charged me for four delivered by room service.

All was good in the end.

Gluten free options were very limited.not impressed with breakfast at all

Attended for a work Christmas Dinner and party. Very good environment, perfect location, drinks were on the expensive side and we were the last table to be served so food wasnt the warmest

Everything was fabulous except the beds I found very hard and had trouble sleeping, if you have back problems I'd say avoid the hotel, the mal has the best beds in town. Also parking is right next door, in a nice ncp but there is none for hyatt with bags it's a long walk.

The hotel itself was fantastic.. staff friendly and helpful. Room was stunning and peaceful.. the club lounge exquisite. The reason I didnt give 5stars was..... wen we came back too the hotel loads of people were congregate round the front entrance smoking taking no notice of the NO SMOKING signs. Sorry Hyatt but cant stand smoking

Excellent condition of everything and a nice breakfast buffet with good variety on offer. Luxury for a slightly higher price. But worth it for special occasions.

Lovely staff who wanted To Help all the time. Rooms were great.

The bar was very beautiful and inviting. Would visit again for sure. They even have a smoking area indoors, but separated from the non-smokers by glass.

Rooms are ok. The bed's not particularly comfortable....

No robes, no slippers, got told to change in the single toilet as the changing room weren t working. 10 mins max in the jacuzzi. 10 times the price of the ibis for the same service. It s running a Covid half service. Save your money, book a budget hotel.

I visited the Hyatt for a National Conference. All the staff were very helpful and accomodating. The food was very nice and the foyer is beautiful.

It was fantastic experience visiting Hyatt Recency Birmingham.
Went there to attend a day long conference.
All went well. Especially Staff was very welcoming and helpful. Food quality and taste was nice.
One thing, they must have a cash machine in their lobby.

Beautiful venue, the Christmas decorations brought a lovely atmosphere to the place.

Was not really luxury. Except the prices. Shower screen seal had gone so bathroom flooded. Was very noisy. Just another inner city hotel really

I only stayed on night for a conference but found the service excellent, room comfortable and, most important of all... very good breakfast.

A lovely place to stay with extremely professional staffs.

Stayed one night on the VIP ticket. Very enjoyable experience. Staff very discreet and anxious to help. Facilities far better than anticipated. Topped off with an example of good old fashion honesty. My partner had lost a sentimental piece of jewellry with no idea where it had been lost. Was found in the foyer and returned to a grateful owner.

Hotel is fine and to a good standard unfortunately parking spaces are incredibly limited even taking into account it's in the City Centre. Additionally need more receptionists given the size of the hotel, when we arrived there were only 2.

Stayed here on a business trip and was amazed at the value. Got a deal on a King room which turned out to be really spacious with a massive bed! Only stayed for 1 night but all the important needs were met in a good TV and good aircon. Room service menu was excellent value and cheaper than similar hotels I've stayed in previously. Very easy walk to shops and offices into city centre in less than 5 mins. Staff all friendly and efficient, just be warned the wait for the lifts can take a few minutes at peak times :)

Only visited the bar, but what a stunning hotel. Service was impeccable. Only downside was the state of the gents toilets. Urine all over the floor.

Very professional very hygenic teneded your every need the only down was the lack of efficiency in being able to check in at the correct time

Nice hotel in the centre of Birmingham. Rooms are great, lobby is very nice and hotel staff are good, polite and helpful. So why one star? The concierge is difficult and disorganised. Despite paying for parking when I parked when I went to my car to pick something up he demanded payment again. He could not then find the information and it took ages to get sorted. And all I had done is visit my car - hadn't driven it in or out. Just did not make sense! Poor service and no trust!

First time staying here, but had a lovely stay. Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms clean and tidy. Pool area just relaxing. Just a great stay.

Clean, tidy but some finishing bits needed looking at
For example the tiling around the bathroom door and the shower head fixing.

Great city centre hotel. Tasteful decor. Friendly and efficient staff. The pool and spa facilities are very nice, although the pool was quite cold. Breakfast was good. Rooms were comfortable and well equipped.

For the money you pay I was very disappointed with the hotel. The bathroom sink taps and bath taps was all loose. Doesn't seem like they cleaned the room properly food loads of dust and grub. Booked a king size bed but no way did we get one. Feet was hanging of the bottom

It was OK! Rooms are nice but a tad small. Breakfast was smaller than I'd imagine. Room service is ultra expensive. Nice staff however, didn't try out the pool and gym but will do next time.

It's a beautiful hotel wonderful ambience, good rooms. Very close to Victoria square Birmingham, which means close to the city centre.

Clean rooms. Spacious. Disappointed with breakfast offering. Signage to reception could be improved at main entrance.

Clean and functional. Nice spa area. Slightly dated and lacking in character. Decent size rooms with a great view. Slightly disappointing bar food. Maybe I m just fussy!

Only went there to attend a conference but the facilities were very good. Had no interaction with the staff and didn't stay in any of the rooms.

Came here for an overnight spa break. Had a massage and facial which were amazing. Room service and amenities were great too. Would have given 5 stars if it hadn't been for the teeny 3 person jacuzzi which was rather underwhelming. Would deffo come for the treatments again!

We Had a fantastic stay for my wife's birthday. We stayed on the 24th floor. We really enjoyed the regency club. We enjoyed the spa, it's got everything. This hotel is amazing we have stayed here before and will do in the future.

Don't include breakfast in your package, it does not offer value for money or either experience

Went for a preview of the refurbishment of the spa which is absolutely beautiful, with some interesting treatments on offer. Well worth considering if you want pampering or a luxurious gym workout.

Only attended a seminar in one of the meeting rooms, but a pleasant experience all the same. Only point of note is that the signage to the meeting rooms was a little ambiguous and required assistance from a member of staff.

Went here for Afternoon Tea a few months back. It was one of the best Afternoon Teas i have ever had. There was a great selection of food on the tea. I thought there wasn't going to be enough but i couldn't eat it all. We had a number of them between 12 people and the service was great. The environment was lovely and peaceful. Well worth a visit.
Obviously being the Hyatt its going to be expensive though, but good quality.

My wife and I only stay here when we travel to Birmingham whether that's business or for pleasure. Excellent food and spa and pool facility. And the staff are exceptional.

Lovely and good size room

Was there for a corporate event. Nice facilities, well positioned. Great refreshments, lunch was a little disappointing. Wish it had car parking, but you can't have everything.
