Honestly this place is a bit ahead of itself.

Honestly this place is a bit ahead of itself.

"Stonebaked Thin Crust Tomato and Mozarella Pizza". Um actually it was Tesco value pizza crust with some stuff thrown on the top, baked in an oven.

"Fresh Orange Juice" - "lightly pasturised", they said. Well it tasteles like Tropicana.

Salad came with no dressing.

Room is barely acceptable with a faint smell of stale smoke. TV worked for some of the world cup match, and switched off randomly. Aircon is rattling.

A really nice stay, and they're clearly working hard with the difficult covid situation to make things feel normal.

However, we paid for an upgrade to a room with a view, the view was magnificent, but the outside of the window was filthy - which made it difficult to see through. We raised this on checkout, and were refunded the upgrade cost, so it only takes it from 5* to 4*.

Stayed in the King Room with my partner. The heating didn't work and the room stayed cold throughout. My partner booked a massage treatment but was not impressed with the treatment at all. Hotel itself is luxurious but facilities could be better.

Stayed at this lovely hotel for a works event on the weekend and what a lovely time we had. Lunch and 3 course dinner was wonderful, very much enjoyed all the food that was served to us. Our room was lovely and we were also able to check in earlier than told - which is always a bonus. Bed was super cosy....loved the bathroom. And the staff were very accommodating when I asked if they had hair spray to could use as j had forgotten mine.

I have given this 4 stars however 3.5 is really more like it. The concept was great based on a film studio or set and the room we where in loosely on a dressing room.
The staff were friendly and helpful,
No cups or kettle or tea and coffee in the room due to present covid restrictions this were the staff came in, have to oblige with a free cup of coffee or tea from the bar.
The room itself could do with some attention, missing button on loo, mouldy floor tiles in shower and a television with a mind of its own.
All in all still not bad for the price.

Dealt with a very helpful lady today called Christa. She helped to manage and rearrange my booking and her customer service and attitude was amazing. I have stayed here before and it is the best hotel I ve stayed in, in the entire UK. My first and only choice for hotels in Birmingham. Brilliant rooms and brilliant service.

The Hyatt Regency Birmingham was centrally located, right next to some great restaurants right along the canal. Unfortunately due to the road work that I was told will be going on for the next two years, it can be tricky navigating the area. Several of my co-workers got lost on their way. Perhaps when booking the hotel should send along a helpful guide for those driving on the current road blockages. The hotel was very clean, staff helpful, food tasty, pub robust. The only constructive criticisms are that the wifi is contatanly cutting out and the showers are open air and have that singular horrible glass door that always allows water to leak out so you're always dealing with clean up afterwards. Don't let that put you off though, it is a great stay, just minor room for improvement!

Extremely nice place. It was enjoyable 4 days.
Hotel is well located, room was comfortable with beautiful sunrise and nice view on the town.
Comfortable bed. Breakfast is fulfilling, only minus were queueing for breakfast for half an hour.
Pool is a good addition to the comfort, spacious, but unfortunately one of the visits was spoiled by extremely high chlorine! Eyes were burning, was impossible to use.
Overall me and my kid enjoyed Hyatt Birmingham .
By the way , the price was very , very reasonable!!!

Room was basic nothing special or of note. View from window was of pipes and vents from another part of the building.
Service in the bar was surly but warmed up at the end and the cocktails were lovely.
Service and food in Aria restaurant poor. Slow, forgot items covered up mistakes, inconsistent and the food forgettable which was for the best as it wasn't good.
Good location for Birmingham city centre but no benefit of staying here over a budget hotel.

Rooms are average, pretty much what you would find in any city hotel. The corridors and interiors have seen better days. However, the breakfast is top notch and the hotel probably has the best pool when compared with other city hotels.

Nice hotel, direct bridge access into the ICC which is great if you're all dressed up for an evening event there and the weather is poor.
Hotel is just starting to show its age a bit here and there, and half the lifts weren't working which meant ling waits at busy times; a bit disappointing given the premium price.

Gorgeous but busy business hotel. There is always a lot of activity when you arrive at the hotel, from valet to Reception. The valet folks are sometimes lazy and stand around doing nothing when they should be helping guests. The entrance to the hotel could also be a little cleaner to give off a better first impression. The inside of the hotel is beautiful but as mentioned, its a typical, busy, business hotel in the centre of town (tucked away on a quieter street though). There are always plenty of taxis at the stand outside the hotel. The rooms are a decent size and recently renovated although sound proofing is horrible and you could often hear couples being amorous at all hours. The bathrooms are ok although the showers are older and could do with an upgrade. The Atrium lobby bar night waiter (black guy in his early 30s or so) was extremely rude and clearly bored with his life and especially his job, it would seem. The staff in the Gentleman & Scholar Pub and Terrace on the other hand, were fantastic although the establishment gets extremely busy. The restaurant has terrific ambiance, however, the menu could definitely do with an upgrade as there is nothing that was different or exciting on it. Overall, i enjoy staying at this hotel.

The Hyatt is a fantastic hotel, adding a bit of extra glamour to my stay right in the centre of Birmingham. The decor is stylish, opulent and I always love a piano bar! The staff were attentive and helpful during my time here and I'd have no problem at all in recommending this hotel to anyone.

The hotel is amazing but lack of parking brings it down slightly with no suggestions. Luckily we found a great secure and reliable car park one street away called Car Park 22. Regardless it was a fairly positive stay apart from that.
