Great views if you get an upper level. The Brasa is amazing for a bite to eat.
Great views if you get an upper level. The Brasa is amazing for a bite to eat.
Other the greatest location, however the rooms are clean
TV didn't work very well (many channels cut in & out and many didnt work), wifi was spotty, and a/c wasn't very cold
Room and bathroom were smaller than i expected. No microwave and couldn't use hdmi port on tv.
Convenient hotel located near falls view casino. Room however was cold near the windows. Had to increase the thermostat to over 23C. Hot water temperature was inconsistent though it did gradually get hot.
Room is ok. Service needs to be improved. But overall stay was ok. House Keeping needs to be improved a lot.
They always teeat us amazing and do everything to make you happy we will definitely be back
The Hilton Niagara Falls / Fallsview is in a wonderfully convenient location, right across from the new Fallsview Casino. We stayed the night at a nearby hotel, but enjoyed our breakfast at the Hilton. Their breakfast buffet is absolutely spectacular. There's an omelet station, hot food, fresh fruits, fresh breads, varied yogurts, and amazing service! We would definitely return!
Check-in process takes too long, tv's don't work properly. But location is great
This is an overall good place to stay and relax due to the welcoming and warm atmosphere. The staff were very nice and services are good. The only issue I saw which may be because I'm impatient but it's that they took 30 mins to bring my towels up which could be a one time thing but that's my opinion I recommend this place for families and couples.
Very nice hotel with great views. The construction and parking are the only issue. Great over all place with good dining options.
Received free WI-FI. Room was early ready - early check in. Amazing view Big room, whirlpool, all facilities. Indoor pool ok, but strong smell of chlorine
Parking had to be paid, expensive and not easy accessible
Hilton never fails. Amazing room, great views, great service.
Very nice location; about 2 mins walk to the casino and the falls. The rooms were clean and big, at least the one we stayed in
everything was wonderful from the staff to our room! Only disappointment was that the water slide was temporarily down. Highly recommend!!!
Excellent service beautiful rooms beautiful view is very good I recommend
Amazing hotel. The room was a bit smaller than expected but still nice.
Amazing view if you chose your hotel with fallsview
Was at brasa restraunt. Had a great time. Lots of good food and great service too. Highly recommended
We had a great stay at the Hilton! They upgraded us to the 48th floor and the view of the falls was incredible! Only complaints would be we wished the window on the outside was cleaned but I get why it's not, and the furniture in the room could have been wiped down more thorough, but we truly enjoyed our stay and will be back!
Good location but old hotel and not very clean rooms
Great hotel attached to the casino, in the heart of Niagara Falls
The scenery !!!!!! The room is very clean. Good breakfast (but where are the vegetables ???) The staff are very courteous, available and cozy. Great location! The only drawback: the sunflower cost money (and lots of ....)
Such a wonderful hotel. Nice and clean, great service and very friendly and helpful staff. And an absolutely beautiful view from the room worth every penny
Great place to stay for a reasonable price, very convenient location, was remodeling which made it more difficult, but I'm sure the changes will be worth the wait.
The service was good. Got upgraded to a falls view room instead of the city view. Location was perfect. The hotel was close to everything. Disappointed that check out time was 11 and late check out was only available till 12 and anytime after that would have been charged for. Also, checking out was a hassle. It would have been much easier if the credit card was charged and didnt have to go through the front desk. It was a long wait.
Overall amazing experience... very clean and friendly staff. Only minor things is you can t use the TV with you re own devices (gaming/home office) and the shower head on the tub was plugged and didn t let a drop out. Great Views and a much needed relaxing time though would stay again 9/10
Great location. Room was a bit odd but comfortable.
Very nice Hotel, polite staff, clean rooms with a lovely view, and plenty of things to do, within walking distance of everything in Niagara Falls, from The casinos, restaurants and even Clifton Hill! I love staying here when in Niagara Falls, I definitely reccomend.
If you go through the reviews, MOST PEOPLE ARE UNSATISFIED with the HOTEL SERVICE, because the TRUTH is that THEY REALLY DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU! However, they are very interested in your CREDIT CARDS, DEBIT CARDS OR CASH at the front desk. There was a flooding in early January 2018, and their response to the situation was very insensitive and acceptable. On the plus side, I would say that the Fallsview rooms are nice, but the problem begins as soon as you go to the front desk. The first time I went to Hilton Hotel at Niagara Falls was in November 2016. There was a lady at the front desk, her name is Marcy, she is bitter, difficult, with an unprofessional attitude! I would define her as mentally ill. This lady is someone that does NOT fit the profile to be at the front desk. MARCY may be in need of
medication.
When I let Karen know of the problem, it got worse, I was shocked that Karen took Marcy's side. Karen should also NOT be at the front desk because she was letting MARCY know that it was alright to treat a person without respect. When this happened, I felt as if I wanted to leave, but still stayed there. Both ladies are BITTER, and a DISGRACE for a reputable Hotel like Hilton. These ladies at the front desk made me as uncomfortable as they could. For that reason, I did not go back to Hilton Hotel close to a year and I advised my mother and others to go to another Hotel.
Description: MARCY is a short local Canadian white lady at the front desk at Hilton Hotel, with blond hair and usually has her hair in a ponytail.
KAREN is a short African American lady with an unusual short purple hair, she claimed to be one of the managers. Instead of Karen being the solution and trying to resolve the problem, she made my life difficult . I must tell you that Marcy who is a local Canadian lady and Karen who is an African American lady with short purple hair are a disgrace to any Hotel. These ladies do not have the skills to treat someone in an acceptable manner. Marcy and Karen, will make you FEEL LIKE LEAVING!!
Some time after my last and FINAL HUMILIATION at Hilton Hotel, I tried to talk to another manager, her name is Cathy McCarthy. While I was talking to Cathy McCarthy, Karen with the purple hair was standing about 10 feet behind me and videotaping me, without my consent. I was uncomfortable about that, and asked her to stop. Unfortunately, talking to Cathy McCarthy did not change much. I went to Hilton 6 times, I did not see any change in them or any effort to change. It's possible that both Marcy and Karen just don't care! MANAGEMENT NEEDS TO LET MARCY AND KAREN KNOW, HOW MUCH DAMAGE being BITTER does and to tell them to leave their ATTITUDES at home. I have bad memories instead of happy ones. My advice is that life is too short to experience any of this, it's NOT worth it! Until there are changes at the front desk, AVOID them like you would avoid a POTHOLE on the road.
Found an uneaten sandwich behind the couch. Got complimentary breakfasts for my 2-night-stay for such sight. Booked the hotel on expedia and upon check out the price the hotel tried to charge me was more than when I booked. Turns out the Tourism Improvement Fee was added. Had to argue the fee, which they took off.
Would have preferred not to have found that sandwich or having to argue that fee, which is suppose to be optional, whereas the hotel insisted it was mandatory. Only after I showed them my reservation confirmation where this fee did not appear, they took it off, but still under "Room allowance credit". For a hotel of such status the only thing that made up for those was the amazing view.
Without those incidents I give the hotel 5 stars - they handled my (I believe justified) caprice very well. So 4 stars overall.
Nice rooms, but it will be better after the massive renovations are done.
It s a horrible experience. We booked two suites online one week before. But today, when we called hotel to confirm our room, they said there s only one suite and the other is not available. They didn t even call us to ask. I really not understand why these things happened in Hilton?? Luckily we got one more suite when we checked in. If all the rooms are not available then we need to take kids, luggage, stroller and family to find another hotel? I hope they can improve their customer service tomorrow.
Booked a king studio room with a "city view" for anniversary but the windows were almost entirely covered with frosting and could not see anything outside except for a dingy view of the ceiling of the floor below us. Booked well in advance hoping for some sort of accommodation but possibly got the worst view possible. Room did NOT match the photos, especially the jacuzzi washroom which had folding panes in the images. Will go with other hotels in the area next time.
Fire and panic at 330am...alarm sounded 411am...no water or electric..no communication at all...do not ever stay here!!!
There are numerous hidden fees added in my bill. Be aware of Tourism Improvement fee (additional 7.9% fee) for all services you will enjoy, such as hotel room, restaurant and even parking lot. I wish Hilton clarified the additional fee in prior to book the hotel.
Awesome. Huge rooms with a very cool bathroom with jacuzzi. Not to mention the fantastic views of the falls. 100% recommended
Came here as a birthday get away and was given great service by the valet staff and also they have many food options connects right to the casino so perfect location great room with fresh clean towels and a comfy bed and great view
Very nice establishment in the privileged location. Some rooms have a view of the 2 falls (American and Canadian) that allow you to enjoy the lights and fireworks when the night falls, which changes everything compared to other hotels. Bedding very comfortable. A bad point for free Wi-Fi, only in the lobby and paying in the rooms. Also beware of tourist taxes and "tourist" taxes that lead to the addition. Paid parking service $ 35 per night (check-in at 4 pm max the next day).
the rooms and services were great, check in took awhile due to it being busy as can be expected on a Saturday in summer. I highly recommend their breakfast buffet - if you are a guest ask front desk for a voucher for $5 off. Great view of both of the falls with their Fallsview rooms
Great view but severely overpriced. The place needs a bit of updating, felt dated. The breakfast buffet was...meh
This very bad comment, I very much hope that everyone knows that Hilton Niagara Falls will steal the property of the guests.
Theft will happen in such a so-called "famous" hotel!
My friends and I went from Toronto to the waterfall and then stayed at Hilton Hotel for one night. The car stopped at Valet Parking, which cost $55. The car was parked at the main entrance and Valet Parking stopped you to the garage. As a result, they put I have more than $400 worth of sunglasses to steal! Very serious and bad behavior! theft!
Hilton Hotel has stolen my belongings
Even if something happens or is lost, they will not help you find it or be responsible.
(The hotel manager's statement: We have no responsibility to help you find or compensate the customer, you have not given me a damage deposit, we are not obligated)
I hope everyone will never come to visit this hotel!
What may be more serious is that it is not just a little thing that is stolen. If more important property is stolen, it is irreparable!
Junk Hilton Hotel!
Don't come live!
This hotel is WAY over priced, front desk staff (specifically a red head, don t recall her name) was extremely rude and obnoxious towards us, room was dirty, parking is EXTREMELY expensive, if you don t upgrade your room for an extra $200 you will be facing the wall of one of their hilton building/construction, security thinks they re some tough guys that own the Hilton, and nothing about this hotel is worth even a penny. Take your money and go to the Holiday Inn where they treat their guests with respect, FREE PARKING, cleaner rooms/updated rooms, and most importantly, nicer staff.
I would never recommend anyone to stay here.
Great location and views. The smoking room was all that was available and the floor and room smelled pretty bad. The service is great.
Checked in electronically, got the ekey...good to go. Line up for the elevator but it was worth it not to be crammed in an elevator. Good job with social distancing.
Beautiful view but the room was average, nothing special. Everything worked and the hotel was fine. They screwed up the bill and tried charging for two different sorts of parking, which would have cost an additional $115, if I hadn't spotted it.
Quiet location but lots of restaurants. Nice view outside the hotel and if you're room is facing the casino/cityview tou can see the fireworks which was really nice.
Upon our arrival we encountered three very long lines at the registration desk. It turned out the computers were down and registration was a mess. It took almost 30 minutes for us to get registered . More than that though was finding out that there is no air conditioning available in the rooms. As crazy as that sounds there was a need! Our room was 76 degrees when we first entered it, by morning it was 78 degrees. Everyone of the staff members we spoke to said they were aware of this and that they constantly receive complaints from guests but there is nothing they can do. One member of the staff told us that the system needed updating and they had been talking about it for years. Giving the fact that everyone knows of this problem and that they receive many complaints from their guests you would think they would inform you of this after you stand in line waiting to register for 30 mins!
We travel to Niagara Falls often and we would never even consider this hotel again.
Parking
I parked in the hotel parking.
When inside the clerk is hiding the parking amount from me.
Says "it will be charged to your room".
When I pressed she said $49/night.
$49 when most of the parking area is empty!
I went out to find parking for $10.
Glass top for table surfaces are moveable and DANGEROUS
This glass that they put on the tables has sharp edges and corners.
It can be very dangerous especially for children.
My toddler hurt herself because the glass surface on tables is not fixed in place.
I hit my elbow on the night table while sleeping and woke up from the pain.
Shower
The hot and cold do not mix!
It's either too hot or too cold.
TV didn't work
The channels came and went with message "weak signal"
We saw mouse in lobby
Disgusting.
Spider webs outside our room window with big spider in it
Again, disgusting.
Condition of the room
All this happened in what they call the "deluxe" suite.
We paid extra to get deluxe suite and expected a great experience.
This was a comparable experience to possibly a 2.5 star motel.
All this can be expected from a 2 or 3 star hotel but not from a name like Hilton.
Our friends stayed in the Marriot on Niagara and they had a much better experience.
So "pandemic" is not an excuse for poor service state of things.
It is better to shut down then operate in this way.
Room was clean with a lot of towels. TV remote didn't work very well. View of the city was nice. Didn't have to go outside to get to the casino. Was able to eat breakfast after checkout, then retrieve my car from the valet which was very convenient.
Favourite hotel in all of Niagara, you won't be disappointed.
Impeccable service but need some attention to amenities and maintenance. Thoroughy enjoyed stay due to convenience of location.
Fantastic brunch at restaurant with superb views and fresh food options.
Nice room, everything was clean. Great view, great bathroom. Parking was pricey. Would stay again.
Nice rooms. Service at Watermark restaurant on the 32 floor was great but the food was just okay
Nice view of falls from the hotel room window. Lovely breakfast included in the room package. Enjoyed staying for the second time!
Enjoyed a fun night gambeling and a very filling dinner with friends and family
Great hotel, a bit pricey. Make sure you don't pay the "hospitality fee".
Our room overlooked the falls. Service was friendly. Several great resteraunts in the building. A bit on the expensive side but quite worth it!
We had a wonderful evening and dinner at the Watermark. Enjoyed the live band at the lobby bar. Look forward to return a visit.
I always choose Hilton when staying at Niagara. Best hotel in the area
Room was so hot you couldn't sleep. They are aware of the problem and apparently haven't fixed it. Was told that they upgraded my room when checking in so ... Infered what more did I want. The upgrade was do to the , 30 minute wait to check in. Not really a four star experience
My husband booked this hotel for a mini break, we didn't know what room we would get but when we arrived we were given the 41st floor and a corner room with the most spectacular view of the falls! So beautiful, it was truly breathtaking!
The room was very, very clean so absolutely no complaints. The bed was a bit old and sort of lumpy but fresh linens so we did sleep very well.
I am giving this 4 stars because the $35 fee for parking was ridiculous as it was supposed to be valet for that price or $20 for self park, but they charged us $35 even though we parked our own car. Not sure why with so many reviews there are complaints about the astronomical cost for parking they continue to irritate their guests, the additional tourist fees should be enough to offset the parking fees.
The Canadians nickel and diming tourists at every turn and they wonder why people choose stateside for vacations.
This was a nice place to stay... i loved my view ... the staff were very friendly... the only 2 complaint I have was there was a huge line for.check out and 2 people working... and the breakfast buffet was not really good.. especially for 22 a person.
Had the essentials and was very clean. Parts of the hotel are under renovation so the hallways are particularly ugly but they did their best to hide the temporary walls so they would look like the permanent walls around them. Staff was courteous and friendly; they greeted us professionally every time we passed them. A couple things in our room were broken or visibly old and well worn (iron, shower knobs) but nothing major enough to require a call to the front desk.
Great 2 bedroom room. Perfect for two couples traveling together. Fantastic view of the falls.
Horrible experience wrecked our whole weekend , first our room got changed I'm guessing overbooking we took the other room they gave us it happens , then we got woken up at 4:00 am with an fire alarm going off, and a paniced women's voice telling us to stay in our room and stay calm when she clearly was not. Frightened the hotel might be on fire we walked down 20 flights of stairs, after that we were without water and no power or answers from staff , we paid for the breakfast vouchers the restaurant was closed because of the power no offer of reimbursement, needless to say we were exhausted by 10 am and had a wine tour booked on that day we couldn't go if we wanted to it's a little hard to get ready without power and being exhausted, finally at 4pm (12 hrs later) still no power or even an offer to help us out ,we decided to not stay another night and just go home , we waited for the 3rd time at the front desk ( at least an half hour each time)
And told them we were leaving and wanted a full refund for wreaking our weekend they offered to wave the parking and take $100 off a $500 room we sleep in all of 2.5 hours in, we ended up having to argue with the manager just to cancel the second night and a $200 reimbursement. Still cost $250. We came home early from our trip we booked for our 15yr Anniversary.
