I have never had a bad experience at the Hilton until this time. For the last 4 years I have visited the falls and stayed at the Hilton. This year we did the same, and booked the same room. Not only have the prices gone up ALOT but their service was terrible this time. I became a Hilton Honors member, not like this mattered because I was treated any differently and had to line up in the other long lineup because noone was at the Honors desk, but that wasnt the issue. The issue was in the room. Our shower head was broken, low water pressure and the temperature was wonky. We went downstairs to speak to the desk and they seemed like they couldnt do anything for us. All they said is that they would send someone up to check. Noone ever came. The next day at check out, we mentioned it again to the gentleman checking us out, and he seemed annoyed that we had brought it up and told us someone was going to look at it. It was kind of too late, we were leaving that day, so we had to shower with a broken shower head for two days. Not only was the shower a pain but the door to our hotel room didnt close properly. It had to be slammed to close shut. Not to mention this FREE WIFI that Hilton Honors guest get, it barely worked.

I was not happy on my Birthday this year... We will reconsider where we stay next year for sure.

Absolute disaster at the reception. Brown water in the shower. Broken bed. Absolute incompetence of the manager to solve the problem. He pushed everything on the city, which is to blame for the disaster. Other guests we interviewed did not have brown water in their showers. So something can not be right. There was no offer at all to handle the situation. What does Hilton stand for?

We booked our rooms 1month before. When we get there tge staff told us that there is no room available. Tgere were two more families who were having the same issue at the same time. Another coincidence was that all the families had their CC on file at the time they reserved the rooms got declined (thats what explanation they gave to all the families). After spending 2 hrs they sent us to another hotel and made arrangements in Hilton for the following day.
We had breakfast in Hilton the next morning. Buffet was good but the staff was not wnough for the ppl in the restaurant. We had to wait 20 mins just for the coffee and the servers were running around.

Love the hotel. I like the fact that there is so much adjoining as well. When the pool is open it s fantastic for the kids. Rooms are set up very nice. HOWEVER, things have been going downhill. This stay room was gross. Ac wasn t working, pool was closed and four points was allowing guests in theirs but I actually got sick from lack of ventilation in the pool area. We had a fridge but no microwave. Elevators were all frozen at one point as well. I m not sure why standards have gone down drastically.
