I must say, car shopping is not one of my favorite things to do, but my salesperson REBECCA ROSEBORO made it so comfortable, I can honestly say this was my BEST EXPERIENCE purchasing a vehicle EVER. Rebecca wasn't pushy and worked hard to make sure I was pleased with my decision. Hendricks Honda on South Boulevard in Charlotte, NC without a doubt was my best car shopping experience I have ever had! From the minute I drove on the lot they made me feel like I was #1. The salesperson Amael Penhwar with his knowledge and genuine commitment to getting me the best deal showed from the time he introduced himself to me and then shaking my hand congratulating me on purchasing a great car. I got a 2016 Honda Accord Sport I love it!!!
I want to give a shout out to General Sales Manager Scott McLane as well, he worked with me and went above and beyond to find me the best price.
I would definitely would recommend Hendricks Honda to anyone who wants a great car and to get the best price and experience great customer service as well.

I did not have an appointment but drove up and was immediately assisted. Danny Cannon checked to see if they had the parts and informed us it would be about an hour and a half. He then arranged to have a driver take us to the shops down the street which was really nice instead of waiting in a waiting room. Everyone was so friendly, courteous and the service was great.

My new vehicle purchasing experience with Garrett Vaughn was absolutely amazing. The process was easy and smooth and I am overly satisfied with my new Pilot! I suggest anyone looking for a new car request him as he is one of the best there and very easy to work with. I will most likely be returning again in the future for any other vehicle purchase. I am very pleased with the work done each time that I take in my 2003 Odessey. I never have to worry about unnecessary work or dishonest trade of any kind. I used to work there and have purchased several cars there, as well as sent many, many referrals to this dealership. I go in today needing a part replaced, my fault, and now with the so called service director, my business and money is no longer appreciated there. I was always told I was a member of the family there, but today showed me I'm a number just like everyone else. With a person like that, the competition will be very easy to go to from now on. Remember, you do have a choice in Charlotte and the surrounding area, steer clear of the big name dealership and go to where you will be appreciated, not a place where you feel that way only until you are approved and drive off, then you no longer matter. Ex employee and customer since 1999. Doesn't take much to run off a customer and they don't even care that they did.

Dave Thomas is an excellent service advisor and he has always been very thorough, attentive to detail, pleasant, and professional during each visit. He explains any issue in great detail along with the importance of keeping my vehicle serviced. I'm sure the other service advisors are great, but I always opt to have Dave Thomas as mine. You won't be disappointed!

I ve always felt I could trust them with our cars. My last service visit was 2 days ago and Jon Sullivan was the Service Technician who assisted me. He was great, very professional and provided me expert advice on my car service needs while saving me some $$. I highly recommend this place.

I had a frustrating and questionable experience with an internet sales manager. I was quoted for a specific car with a black interior, and when I arrived I was surprised to see that it was gray. This wasn't a big deal in itself, but the sales manager proceeded to tell me this is what I had asked for. I did not appreciate being lied to and walked away on the spot. I calmed down and returned the next day to purchase the vehicle - I was upset by principle but frankly the deal was great. Hendrick Honda seems to have the largest presence and inventory but they shouldn't let that undermine improvements to service and the buying experience.

Today my experience with HARRISON TOTHEROW and ALEX ALEGRIA were the best I have ever had in this car dealership business. I've been to quite a few dealerships and to say the least they were horrible but not the experience I had today. These two men ALEX being in the financial department and HARRISON my car salesman were the best and they provided great knowledge of the veichles and they gave me the up most in customer service. I will only be purchasing from this dealership and working with these two. Also they had me laughing which is always good when u know your going to be there for a while. They also made a way for me when I doubted myself because of my credit but they made it happen and within 24 hours I walked out in my brand new 2017 HONDA CIVIC EX which I absolutely LOVE.
I CANT THANK YOU GUYS ENOUGH, I'M SUPER HAPPY AND PLEASED AND I HOPE TO DO BUSINESS WITH I IN THE FUTURE . And I will be recommending family and friends.

We walked into Honda today and got so lucky to meet Chip Chamberlin. He was extremely Thorough and patient as he walked us through the vehicles we were inquiring about. He spoke eloquently and was very knowledgeable. Chip was able to explain how many unique features the new Honda s have to offer. The safety features were truly top of the line. It is so easy to get lost during the punch list of options and features but not with Chip. He took his time to truly explore the car with us and TEACH us about each feature. We test drove the car and he took us on a journey through the cars many qualities. Because of chip we grew to love the car. I have honestly never had a better experience at a car dealership. He did not pressure us but instead guided us in choosing the best option for us that we would be happy with! I wish I had Mr. Hendricks number myself to let him know what a valuable employee he has working at his establishment. In a world full of chaos right now it was such a nice experience to work with someone so personable, positive and genuine. Thank you Chip for making our car shopping experience and day better than expected!

The Internet Sales Manager, Sam Landers, lived up ...

The Internet Sales Manager, Sam Landers, lived up to the used car sales person stereotype. I called him on his cell phone at 7:00 am expressing my interest in a vehicle and I asked when would be a good time to come look at it. He confirmed it that the vehicle was available but needed to check recall details. I made it clear I could meet him there 1st thing. Sam said he was 45 minutes away from the dealership and he would call me either way as soon as he had answers. By 10:15 am I hadnt heard from him so I sent him a direct email asking details and for confirmationon the 11:15 AM appointment the Internet chat representative set up with me the day before. 30 minutes went by and still no response, I called him and he said the car was sold, my exact words were, "that's a bummer, I really liked that car" and then he hung up on me. I was stunned that he didn't call back. An hour later I received a phone call from Hendrix, they asked about my time horizon and trade in and was told I would hear back very soon. 4 hours later I received an email from another Hendrix employee stating the vehicle was sold. Bottom line is don't over promise and under deliver and most of all don't hang up on prospects.

Additionally I asked if I could use another Honda dealerships coupon for a free tire rotation and even though I was told yes, I was still charged for the service because it was another dealerships coupon. If there was another dealership closer I wouldn t come to this one.

I visited Hendrick Honda on South Blvd on 8/31/20 for 140k maintenance on a car. I have been to the shop before but not for work on this particular car. As usual, I requested Hendrick Honda s best service technician, in my opinion, Mr Dan Cannon. I had a 12pm appointment, but needed to drop my car off earlier to take care of something that unexpectedly came up.
Dan was gracious and willing to accommodate me by allowing me to leave the car in the lot and then when my original appointed time came up at 12pm he took the time to call me to discuss the Specific service I need. Additionally, when Dan called me to say the Car was ready, I arrived there when he was out to Lunch. His service advisor next to him as well as a couple of other employees took over and closed me out so I didn t have to wait. So all in all, I had a great experience this day with my car and I was equally as happy that they found no major issues and didn t make something up to pad their wallet, as many other car services have done with my car.

I would like to thank Hendrick Honda, Dan Cannon and his colleagues for another great service experience.

Richard Peacock made my car purchasing experience this past weekend at Hendrick Honda an enjoyable experience. Not only did he negotiate a fair price, he took the time, after the purchase, to completely review all the operations of the car with me the next morning when I returned to drive the car home. He walked me through all the blue tooth and electronic features and had me set-up several telephone speed dials and radio station presets to ensure that I understood the steps. I came away satisfied with my new CRV and the service and respect given to me by Mr. Peacock and everyone I associated with during my experience.

There are other Honda dealerships much closer to our home, but we're devoted to Hendrick Honda! Without a doubt, they're second to none. From the moment we step on the lot, we're treated like family. We never wonder if we've gotten a good deal or if we could have gotten a better one somewhere else. We know the folks at Hendrick will always treat us right. We purchased the first of our 4 Honda's in 2002 and are happy to see the same folks still working there today. We've had the pleasure of dealing with Gus Forbes and Kelvin Parsons for years. Both are such an asset to the Hendrick family. If they tell you something, you can rest assured it's the truth. They stand behind what they say and take such pride in their work. With our most recent purchase, we discovered our precious salesman had been promoted to management and we had the pleasure of working with a new salesman, Mr. Mon Nguyen. Mr. Nguyen possesses those same unique qualities that make the Hendrick team special. Saying he went the extra mile to insure our satisfaction is such an understatement. He did more than anyone could have ever expected or even thought to expect. Of course, that is typical of Hendrick Honda. Their customer service is simply amazing!!! I just can't say enough about the Hendrick experience. It's one of the few businesses left where you feel appreciated and you get a superior product at a reasonable price.

This was an absolutely amazing experience! I am a busy professional, no time for price hassle games. Went to this dealership simply because I knew I wanted a reliable Honda Accord and was assisted by CHRISTIAN SKINNER. He was friendly, patient and knowledgeable. He encouraged me to test drive a V6 (my preferred engine) and after 3 hours of deliberation, I was sold! I have been driving my new Honda Accord without issue...it reminds me of my former Mercedes E500 (minus those noisy hydraulics) and I absolutely love it!!!! To add to my fabulous experience, JOSEPH GAMATI (Financial Manager) is a casual, no nonsense, knowledgeable dude with a straight forward attitude. For me...I don't have much time to waste. I'm a very busy lady and truly appreciated all of the information and assistance of this team. We closed the deal at midnight and it was one of the most enjoyable business negotiations I've had in years! KUDOS TO THIS DEALERSHIP! You deserve the BEST recognition! Visited location 3 times reporting an issue and paid for various suggested repairs - only to be informed I should just buy a new car. Their quote to repair instead was outrageous. I visited another location a day later and was assisted with repairs for less than half of what I was originally quoted. In addition, the other location didn't pressure me to buy a new vehicle.

Sure, I'm out of the money I've paid South Blvd thus far when it didn't resolve my issue. But lesson learned, this place is to be avoided.

UPDATE:

Yeah, your director lied to you. No new engine needed nor was a new vehicle. Your actions and response certainly don't encourage a return or brand loyalty. Good thing is I never have to do business with you again.

Bought a new Accord EXL through the internet department. Quick, easy and painless. Everything was done online. Went to pick up the car and it only took a little more than an hour to go over the car and paperwork and I was out of there. Highly recommend them.

I was in a bit of a pickle when my old car stopped working. Up until my stop at Hendrick Honda, my car shopping experience had been quite anxiety-inducing. I spoke with Jessica Johnson and she helped show me what my options were, very helpful and not pushy. When I ended up leasing a new 2016 Accord, she proved to be very knowledgeable about the vehicle and very helpful with getting all of the paperwork finished. I was in a new car the day after my first visit. If you are looking for a new car, you can't go wrong with a Honda, and Jessica Johnson would be first on my list of stops. Very knowledgeable and great to work with.

I had a great experience at Hendrick Honda. My car needed work done. I was going to Priority Honda and they changed to Hall Honda and the service was not the same. So, I switched to Hendrick Honda. They were so professional. I could instantly tell the difference. They provided me with a free loaner car until the work was done on my car. Jennifer kept in touch to let me know what needed to be done and they also gave me a 10% discount. Going and coming was a fast process, no wait time at all. I will definitely be back.

The service consultant (Jeff) gave me my keys back...

The service consultant (Jeff) gave me my keys back and said car was fixed after I was there about 2 hours. When I got back into the car, the engine light was still on. A service manager (I think), helped me and made sure he could clear the code that it was actually fixed. When taking it back to maintenance, they realized it was not fixed. I was there about two more hours and they finally gave me a loner to go home because it turned out to be a more complicated issue. I don't know what the service manager's name is but he was very helpful.

Andrea was my service rep and she was very professional and very sensitive to my concerns. I brought the car in to have the timing belt changed since the car had 157,000 miles on my Honda Accord. She addressed that issue and made me aware of other issues that we decided to have done. I was apprised of the cost ahead of time. Overall, the work performed was a good preventative maintenance for a multitude of issues resulting from age. I feel better that those were addressed at what I felt was a reasonable charge.

First of all I d like to say I hate internet hate, however a very bad situation arose this week with this dealership.
I took my daughter there Nov 21 to look at a used Honda Civic I d seen on their website. My daughter is 16 and ready to find a car, we have been looking for a Civic for over a month that matched what she liked. Upon arriving we met sales person Charles M. English was not his first language, we are a very well travelled family so that did not concern us in the least, to begin with.
Charles showed us the Civic and that it had a sold sticker from the day prior to our visit. We were late, it was our problem someone beat us to the car.
Charles however was sure he could find us another Honda in our price range for my daughter. I was open minded though knowing they didn t have any comparable listed on their website but again maybe something came in.
Charles got his sheet of used cars out and we looked through it, there wasn t anything we were interested in but he insisted we look at an accord 2k over our price.
Our family has owned Civics and Accords, we love them.
So when Charles took us to see the accord we had to walk to the dealership next door which I think is Hendrick also, we go thru the back lot and I see no Honda s, clearly Charles is lost. He asks others who work there where the car is and they look as puzzled as us following him around on a cold day.
It turned out the accord was back where we started right where we parked and where our search with Charles started. The accord was out of our price range and not what we wanted but finally found so we could leave but Charles begged us one more minute, so we are polite, we go in and he runs a search like we did at home finding the same thing we had, they just didn t have anything for us. We are ready to bolt as we are heading to other car dealers. Yet again, give me one minute, now a manager appears, he understands us completely and he knows he hS nothing for us so we leave.
Two days later our family is watching a movie in the theatre 40 miles from this dealership.
Charles calls and says the Civic we wanted is back for sale, the person buying it couldn t finance it, only 8k but ok I bite, if we come now I tell him will you hold it and we will take it.
So we leave the movie, our choice but $39 down drain, to run down to pay for the car, I suppose you know what I am about to say, the car was still sold!!!!!!!!!!! He knows it when we arrive, my daughter is distraught, our very rare holiday day ruined.........Charles tries once again to show us his list of cars, he says look here 2014 and 2013 Civics for the same price as the 2012 we want only that he is looking in the mileage column not the price column, i point this out and he holds his head and says oh no, totally mad I just walk away, Charles says nothing, the family is upset, and my 16 year old says as we leave the parking lot, why is it that she knows more about their cars than their salesman does?
Today I got a call from a woman at the dealership calling to see if we were coming back to see Charles to buy a car, now she must know I ve called the General Manager and the Used Car Manager and left a message to call me, she heard my story this morning before 10am and was very apologetic however I ve not heard another word since, no return calls, no nothing.
I ve been telling my friends how awful my experience was and so so many have said oh I could have told you not to go there, then they have their own stories to tell, how do they stay in business?
I truly have a connection with Hendrick, he had leukemia the same time as my best friend and they shared the same doctor, I would see him getting treatments the same time my friend did, I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt, he survived my best friend did not, I participated in bone marrow drives for Hendrick, but I will not return to that dealership ever again!

I had a great experience buying a preowned car from Hendrick. Especially, Mike was very cooperative all through the process, from test driving to final clean up of car. Very courteous sales agent. Also, the team helped me to take the car even if the financed check was delayed due to holidays. Thanks again!!
