It was a very nice car buying experience. My salesman, Steven Carlton, did an excellent job of allowing me to buy the vehicle, and not selling it to me. I pulled in on a Saturday afternoon, and Steven was standing out front. He didn't jump out at me as I stepped out of my vehicle, he just greeted me with a "hello" and a smile. I asked him if he could point me to the Honda Pilots, and he gladly pointed out where they were located on the lot. He didn't follow me, he didn't pressure me, he just kept watch to make sure I was headed in the right direction. He let me take my time just looking around. It was hot outside, and he could have easily just walked back in, but he calmly waited out front while I walked. On the way back to where he was located, I spotted one that wasn't with the rest, so I came back to Steven to ask him about that particular vehicle. He nicely walked me over to the Pilot, talked to me about it, and then began to ask me what I was looking for in a vehicle. He politely pre-qualified me by asking non-intrusive questions, and was very laid back about the whole car buying experience. He gave me his card, and I was on my way. I came back the next Monday morning, and brought my kids with me. We looked at the vehicle again, and this time got to drive it. The thing that was very impressive as well is when I called Steven to let him know I was on my way, he had pulled the Pilot from the row, backed it into a space, and lowered the windows to cool it off. Before the test drive, we had to move all the kids seats (3) to the vehicle, and Steven was very patient as we made that move. During the test drive, Steven even included my kids in the buying process. He asked them questions, kept them entertained, and allowed me to drive the vehicle without any "selling". He let the vehicle sell itself. Once we got back to the dealership, it was time to talk. We walked in, and Steven made sure we had the right amount of chairs for the kids to sit and made sure they were comfortable before we talked about the vehicle. Even offered water or anything that the kids needed before we began. Long story short, we have a new-to-us gorgeous 2015 Pilot that my wife loves (its was a surprise to her). Steven made the process very easy, no pressure, and it felt as if he was being part of the process instead of making the process happen. - So, basically in short, Steven sold himself, and it made the buying process so much easier. Even my kids said they liked it! :) Thanks Steven!! And thanks Hendrick Honda for having a Salesperson like him.

Hendricks Honda on South Blvd. has that WOW! factor. I visited a Hendricks Dealership in another city and was shocked by the poor quality of service and disrespect. After a quick online search for a vehicle, my wife and I ended up on South Blvd. We testified about our experience over the telephone and when we arrived "our" vehicle was out front and ready for the test drive. To make a long story short, we purchased our new vehicle at a great price and to make up for the poor service of another dealership, they threw in free leather seats and a few other freebies. Kudos to Corey Reynolds and Nate Pearson for taking care of us!!!! I'd recommend Hendricks Honda on South Blvd. to anybody!!! I'm loving the Pilot!!!

I view buying a car similar to that of a visit to the dentist; necessary but uncomfortable and painful. I never buy on the first time out without getting a comparable from another dealer; my experience with Ronnie Russell became the exception to that rule. He was personable but professional and extremely patient and kind. The whole sales team met my needs without making me feel pressured. The final test of a good purchase is whether you feel buyers remorse or not; over a week out and feeling great about the experience. My thanks to Ronnie and everyone at Hendrick Honda for making it happen.

Hendrick Honda is top notch in the service department! All the service advisors I have worked with have been top notch but my favorite for many years now is Jeffrey Smith! I totally trust him regarding anything on my 3 Honda s! Casey McGuire is also very good in service as he used to be a technician!

I SHOULD HAVE STARTED MY SEARCH HERE!! I love their customer service Rico, Danielle, Tanner, Steven I mean everyone greated me with smiling faces, they were so helpful and informative. It is official I will never buy another car from any where else, and you shouldn t either !!!

Easy to make appt, service representative was very helpful during check-in and thorough with finding out that I still had some warranty benefits on my original purchase, which saved me money. Friendly service and had car ready in the promised time. Would definitely recommend buying at Hendrick and having service done her as well..

I went to Honda because I had a previous Honda that I really liked and wow I was blown away by one person in particular. JESS JOHNSON was very insightful and knowledgeable about the car that I ended up getting and she was beyond helpful in reviewing everything about the car from inside to outside. I would personally recommend her to anyone that I met interested in buying a car. She was nice and a very awesome person to talk to during the whole process. If you go here, there is no doubt that she is the best person to ask about buying a new Honda vehicle and I promise that you will be very happy about your experience as much as I was.

I always love visiting Honda on South Blvd. Everyone is extremely friendly and professional. Dennis Sanford is above all, my favorite person. He always greets me using my first name and extremely professional. He makes sure that he is always looking into the best needs of my cars maintenance and always give me an update of potential items that may need to be fixed in the future.

Honda is so lucky to have such a valued employee working for them. I would recommend anyone visiting Honda and having Dennis represent them for the car maintenance issues.

My wife and I were deciding between a 4Runner and a Honda Pilot and visited Hendrick Honda and the Toyota dealership right down the street. After being at Hendrick Honda for 10 minutes, we knew this would be the place where we would make our purchase. Our sales associate was Kyle Harris. He went above and beyond as far as pulling out all the different options we asked for, all with a great attitude and a very polite demeanor. When it came time to close the deal, the sales manager Sean was outstanding. He addressed every concern we had, and was very transparent the entire time, which is something you don't encounter at car dealerships anymore. Hands down the best car buying experience I've had, and I will be going back to Kyle and Sean for my next car for sure. Thumbs up guys!

Oil change and rotation of tires was fine. But the...

Oil change and rotation of tires was fine. But the torque converter and the right rear strut are not fixed. The judder in the transmission still exists. I was told that Honda needs a picture taken of it before they can work any further on it EVEN though Honda and the dealership know that the transmission fluid breaks down earlier than normal causing the judder malfunction in the transmission. It continues to do it after 5000 miles. That s how soon the transmission fluid breaks down.
The rear strut is making a thud noise and I was told by the dealership that either I ll have to put up with the thud noise or spend $360.00 to fix it since I ve got 55,000 miles and Honda won t cover it. It s interesting that this part came from the plant with this malfunction and the thud noise just kept on increasing in volume.
I don t feel that either one of these problems are my fault or concern and Honda needs to fix these problems. This is my 3rd Honda from Hendrick Honda and my 5th Honda overall.
The results that I received the other day from the dealership are very disturbing! I would like to continue with Honda but that will be up to Honda and the Hendrick dealership!

Until recently, Hendrick Honda has been a trusted source for service on multiple cars I've owned. Prior to having a new set of 4 tires installed on my Accord, I had two conversations (one in person) about a specific model and brand of tire I was going to purchase. I arrived in person to have them put on and it wasn't until I got home did I notice that the they installed a different model (same brand) of tires. I called my service advisor to discuss and they said they don't recall our original conversation and was sorry for the miscommunication. I explained I was unhappy with the model tire I received because the ratings were lower than the ones I wanted. I also mentioned a quote they gave me with handwritten notes on the model and type, and again they did not recall any of the information. Nothing was done to rectify the situation. Later that night I received a call from Hendrick asking how my service was and I explained the situation again. They said I would likely hear from someone in Service about the situation. It has been 5 days and yet to hear from anyone. I'm very disappointed not only because I am stuck with a set of lower rated tires, but more importantly Hendrick made no attempt to fix the situation. It appears they are avoiding the situation.

Hendrick Honda is well known in the area as the place to go and as soon as you walk in the door you learn why. I couldnt have asked for a better experience. I bought a '12 Civic around a month ago.Vickie Athey was my sales associate and she is wonderful! I also had assitance with Sean Mclane and Derek Budd. I was referred by a coworker to go there because he has always bought his cars with them and I see why now. They dont just see you as a customer, they actually care about you and make sure that you dont leave disappointed. I dont think I could have been in better hands during this process. I have/will recommended everyone to go there. I cant thank Vickie, Derek, and Sean enough for my experience with them. I look forward to going back to see them, They are such amazing people.

Well i was looking for a used car and cant beat this place really. Yes they have their good and bad apples but luckily I got a Good salesperson. Straight to the point DAPHNE PORTELA was the best, she went far and beyond to find my car, it works super and looks like a charm. It wasn't easy but she did it so save your self some time and find her. Thank you daphne... i been running the genesis for two weeks and it drives like new.... thank you again. I recently had the opportunity to work with John Malave at Hendrick Collision Center South after my 2008 Pilot was rear-ended on I-485. John was very patient and quite helpful while the insurance inspection was completed. When I went to retrieve my personal belongings, John walked me around the vehicle and explained how it did it's job protecting me during the collision although the damage was significant enough that the vehicle was totaled. I would highly recommend John for any work performed at Hendrick Collision Center. He is certainly an asset to the Hendrick team.

This was my first Honda purchase, but based on the experience with my vehicle and the Honda service I received, I am purchasing another Pilot.

My mother and I recently purchased/leased two 2012 Honda Accords from Hendrick Honda on South Blvd. We are extremely happy with level of service we received from the time we walked in the doors to the time we drove off the lot. The sales team, including Vickie Athey, Brendan Bosshart, Stewart and Tony, were the best. Vickie worked very closely with us through the buying/leasing process. She made sure we were well informed about our new vehicles and made sure we were comfortable throughout our time at the dealership. She even went above and beyond to take the time switch my belongings from my old clunker to the new car while we finished the paperwork! She is such a caring and genuine person! The dealership was spotless and had so much to offer, not only a great selection of vehicles but clean restrooms, coffee and even a snack machine. I have never had a brand new car before and can't believe how BEAUTIFUL, safe and comfortable our new Accords are! I still look out the window in the morning to look at them! Lol. I sincerely would suggest to anyone to consider stopping by this dealership. Thank you to everyone at Hendrick Honda:)

Contacted Hendricks about a new 2017 Honda they had Advertised on the website for 34k. I live about 2 hours away but was pretty interested in this particular car. I was finally contacted by Carlos Coyle. Right off the bat, he demanded a $500 dollar non refundable deposit for a car I had not seen or driven. It was also explained to me this car, being advertised as new, Now had some miles on it and damage to the front bumper from being shown at an auto show. I explained to him i would not leave a deposit for a car I hadn't seen or driven, and that we should discuss numbers and see if it was going to be even worth my while to drive the two hours, Carlos at first would not even make me an offer on my trade, stating he didn't need it and that I would be better off selling at Carmax. Mind you my car is a 2013 Civic SI with less then 70k on it, so most definitely worthy of being a Certified used Honda. Afterwards he said he couldn't make an offer with out seeing it. I found this funny considering he did want me to put $500 non refundable deposit down on his vehicle I had not even seen. To top it all off, The car that was advertised on Hendricks Honda for $34,790 Jumped to $38,122 not including Tax and title, or Dealer fees. Carlos Stated this was because they had to repair the bumper and Added some Dealer options, Which in my opinion Dealer Options should have been advertised in the listing to begin with. Not to mention the list of Dealer options he gave me, I had quoted at my local dealer and did not equal the 4k up-charge. This place is a joke and will try and screw you. Save your time and Money

I would like to take a few minutes to let anyone know that if you're looking to purchase a Honda you most difinately need to visit Hendrick Honda on South Blvd. I have done business with them for over 4 years. My wife and I along with our three daughters have leased Hondas from this dealership. Gus Forbes is who I have worked with every time he is an outstanding person of great family morals.Gus takes the time to make sure you are happy with your purchase. Today I would also like to thank Rob the salesperson who helped my wife and I lease a Honda C-RV. Rob did an excellent job with every aspect of this transaction!!!! He was extremely personable and made sure we understood everything about the vehicle. I wouldn't hesitate to work with Rob again. IMO you will not find a better place to purchase or lease a Honda....they truly make it a FUN EXPERIENCE. Respectfully Henry Myers

Their service is great especially when you buy new cars from their south blvd location. We worked with Kenyon Hill and he was very experienced and knowledgable sales person there. He was very helpful with every step of buying process to us. I recommand this place they will give you best price possible even if you are shopping aroud make sure you visit them they will most likely match any other offer you might have. I will go here again for my next car if it will be honda.

My experience here was not completely satisfactory. We were not provided all details ahead of time. They told us that, we can take a 1.9% loan from Honda if I qualify and gave us a quote (based on which we made the $5000 initial payment). When all process was completed and when we finally met with the finance manager, they told us we can only get 5.9% as interest rate for loan (based on the quote provided) or the price of the car will increase by $750 if we need 1.9% as interest rate :( .When I requested the $5000 back, they told me they cannot give it back as the car was held in the showroom for 5 days

Great experience at Hendrick Honda! Starting with Andrew and communication on my lease and finance options, and ending with a joint effort from sales guys Jay and Carlos. Had two different cars delivered to my front door to test drive, and the second one ended up a winner. The paperwork took less than two hours also and we were out if there. Thanks to all at Hendrick Honda for making this a seamless transaction. My wife and I are extremely happy. We'll be back!

Took car in for oil change with no issues and they...

Took car in for oil change with no issues and they recommended valve adjustment for $900. Had the work done then while driving home lost steering and engine died. Spent an hour waiting for their tow truck and they were rushing us to get back to dealer since they wanted to close for day. Turns out some sensor got lose in work they did that caused it. Got no consideration for the several hours of wasted time.

Clarissa Parks did my initial and follow-up visits to your facility. She patiently and clearly explained the process to me in a way that calmed all my concerns. My wife and I owned a 2009 Toyota Sienna minivan and decided it may be time to upgrade so hired a baby sitter for our 2 girls and set out to do some car shopping.

After checking out the Toyota's (which we both liked and were waiting for numbers) we went to Hendrick Honda where we meet TYLER PATSY. He was friendly, no pressure and let my wife and I compare the vans. (I think its easy to sit back when you know you have a better product).

After a test drive and a conversation about options that we wanted, Tyler was able to get the numbers to work and we set a time to finalize everything. We asked that he make this fast and easy because we were bringing our girls in this time... TYLER PATSY did exactly that.

The van was clean and ready to go. Paperwork was quick and painless (and the desk we used was pretty cool, you'll see when you buy your van). We were out in less than an hour and on the road.

After taking a 14 hour trip in the van 2 days after taking delivery, here are a few things we like the most about our new Odyssey so far:
* The adaptive cruise control makes long trips simple
* The lane assist gives you a little extra confidence and safety (as we drove thru the mountains)
* The seats were very comfortable (I'm 6' 2" and my wife is 5' 10") plenty of leg room
* The cup holders in the middle row were perfect for our girls (4 and 7)
* The blind spot detector was also really nice on the interstate when we got in some heavy traffic
* Oh, and one of the best parts, the climate control system. My wife had the seat heaters on, I had the AC going and the girls had the mid-row AC set on 75 (not to hot, not to cold as my youngest told me)

Thanks for all your help and making it so easy, we love the van.

Worst Experience ever. Don't even think of choosing this dealer for your new Honda. The Office Manager is the most arrogant person i have ever met. Full of attitude and does not know how to talk to customers. Sales persons are rude as hell and do not know how to handle customers. Worst customer service, please visit Scot Clark Honda on Independence Blvd . Really good people and such nice and polite way of talking to the customer. I would recommend never visit Hendrick Honda for your new car and make your car buying experience a nightmare.
There are many better options out there with a much better price and service than the Hendrick Honda of South Blvd Charlotte. Please do not waste your time spending hours and hours to get on a deal that would end on a negative note where the Manager will intervene and be all rude and arrogant and talk with zero discipline and you will end up without any deal.

We had an incredible experience with the car buying process at Hendrick Honda! Malachi Smith was our Sales & Leasing Consultant and he did an excellent job leading us through the whole process, from research and test-driving to our final selection. Malachi listened to our wants and needs, teaching us about all the features of our new vehicle and made sure to hit all our top requirements. He skillfully and smoothly led us through the entire buying process from day one. He kept us within our set budget, didn't pressure us in the least, and patiently answered every question we had. We are both thankful and grateful to have had Malachi throughout this journey and process!

drove into Hendricks when my phone became unpaired to my Honda Truck, Chris and a Young female rep came out and took care of the problem right away. I appreciate this service, not the usual you get when you run in with a minor problem, we are too busy, make an appt. they were awesome took care of the problem and sent me on my way. My heroes!!!

Manny Dasilva, Chip Conley, and Gus Forbes were all wonderful in helping me with my new Honda Accord. We had a great experience working with Ronnie Lopez and Ronnie Russell. They are the best at what they do. My wife and I were looking a comfortable vehicle to fit my family and these guys with their high level of professionalism were able to provided me with a really nice Acura MDX. They made sure that We were comfortable and happy with what we were getting. We really Appreciated everything they did for us. While buying a new vehicle is never a "fun" experience, these guys made it as pleasant as it could be. Our sales guy, Chip Chamberlin, was as nice a guy as you will ever meet, and the GM was friendly and helpful too. It took a while for us to agree on the terms, but I left happy in my new CRV - my 3rd Honda in a row, and second CRV. I am so glad I found this dealership. I highly recommend stopping here first before you go anywhere else - and then compare what you get for the money in a Honda versus other car makers.

Several weeks ago my Murano was hit in the back bumper.Allstate,the other driver's insurance company,sent me to Hendrick Honda for an estimate.My insurance agent advised me to have Hendrick Honda do the repairs as they had a reputation for fairness and good work.Mr Justin Bowers handled the work and was most helpful.He explained all the work to be done and showed me photos of the internal damage to my bumper.I would highly recommend him and Hendrick Honda to any one who would ask.I am even considering looking at a new Honda from Hendrick.

Just a quick word about HENDRICK COLLISION on South Blvd in Charlotte and the great, warm, friendly and competent service provided not once but TWICE in the past two months by the team headed up by JUSTIN BOWERS. Both times, I got scrapped while away from my parked car - both times, Justin made it easy and did it the right way -- telling me what to expect, making it easy, and providing great value for the time and money. Don't bother trying to negotiate using fair price resources like TrueCar or Edmunds. Go to Scott Clark, McKenney-Salinas, or Honda of Rock Hill if you actually want to get a good deal from reasonable sales managers. Hendrick preys on the ignorant.

My experience at Hendrick Honda was positive from the moment I walked into the place until my exit with my new Honda car. The general atmosphere is clean, well designed & professional. From the warm welcome at the reception desk and the meet & greet of my wonderful knowledgable salesperson Vickie Athey it was an A+. Vickie answered my many questions intelligently and clearly in an easy friendly style. From the test drive to the followup phone call she was great ! I have already recommended Hendrick Honda to a couple of my friends and I only bought the car last week !

My boyfriends dads car got in a wreck and took the car here for an estimate for repair. Not only did he not get an estimate, they TORE UP THE CAR WORSE. After taking the car here his car is TOTALED. We cannot drive the car away and they are threatening to charge him per day. Absolutely unbelievable and sickening how they destroy a car then blame the owner. Hendrick, you will be taken to court. DO NOT bring your car here.

We were most impressed. We went to Honda only to browse, and were not expecting to make any moves towards a purchase. But Marty Stafford greeted us warmly and applied no pressure whatsoever, expressing understanding that we were reluctant to even do a test drive. Part of our reluctance had to do with my wife having been in a wreck and her resulting shyness about even sitting behind the wheel. Marty's friendly and amiable manner won us over to the point that we agreed to give an Accord a spin. He was patient when we said we wanted to drive only in a residential area. He was thoroughly knowledgeable about the car, and answered all our questions. He walked us through the whole purchase process, spending the whole day with us. We owe Marty a great deal of thanks for working with us.

On 1/10/19, my buying experience with RONNIE RUSSELL was one of the greatest car buying experience I have ever had! Ronnie went above and beyond to make sure I purchased the car I was most comfortable with. He gave me suggestions and his advice but was in no way pushy what-so-ever. After I decided on the car the process was absolutely painless. So quick and professional. I felt like family by the end of the whole process . I recommend Hendrick Honda ( RONNIE RUSSELL ) to anyone looking for a new or used vehicle .

Nate was great When I got the 07 Honda odessy home I found a couple of minor issues I called back and talked to Stephen who is also a fantastic guy .He said he would take care of the problem You can,t beat that I highly recommend them everyone from the nice lady at the front desk to the finance manager was very professional

I have never owned a Honda before. I recently inherited this one. Hendrick Honda, and in particular Clarissa Parks - my service rep - provided me with the best auto maintenance experience I have ever had. I dropped the car off the evening before the scheduled appointment. That same evening I received a report from Clarissa: all the cars systems had been inspected, and graded Pass, Fail or Caution. Repairs were recommended for all the items that failed. There were a couple of outstanding warranty items that would be taken care of as well. I have never received such a thorough report from any other service team. Clarissa let me know that one part would have to be ordered, and gave me an estimated 'ready' time. The car was ready as promised, with all the repairs completed. Now I have a full record of the condition of the car, and am confident it is in great shape.
