We have been very happy customers of Global Mini for 10 years. Our most recent purchase this weekend was a 2020 Mini Cooper S Convertible. Our salesperson Peter gave us excellent service and allowed us plenty of time to check out different models and test drive. The dealership had gloves and sanitizer for us and all the staff wore gloves and masks.Financing incentives are very attractive now and if you are in the market for a great deal stop in and ask for Peter!

I visited Global Imports MINI for service, due to the scary "Engine malfunction, reduced power, get to the dealership" message in my 2015 Mini Convertible (purchased at Mall of Georgia MINI, which was a horrible experience). I made an appointment on my way and was assigned a service advisor at that time. When I arrived, I was greeted by a smiling, cheerful Lon, who was more than helpful. He informed me of the code read from my key, what it meant and immediately sent my car down to service.

I mentioned to Lon that while I was waiting for service, I would like to see a specific Countryman in their inventory. He introduced me to Sergei on the sales team. Sergei was friendly, knowledgeable and took the time to show me many of the features the 2018 Countryman had that my 2015 Convertible lacked. When the time came for a test drive, Sergei insisted on taking the driver seat first to show me a few more features before putting me behind the wheel. I ended up purchasing the Countryman and have no regrets. Tyler in finance was also awesome and worked to get the best interest rate available, which I appreciated. Every staff member I encountered was pleasant and helpful.

After purchase, my car was pulled into the showroom for a full tutorial of all the bells and whistles. Sergei even helped to pair my phone before I ever left the dealership.

Just bought a 2015 4 doors hardtop mini and I love it.....I went back and forth to the dealership over the course of a few days, as I was trying to do a trade-in aswell...then also spent several hours umming and arrghing about what I actually wanted...the guys here were really patient with me and even though I left the dealership a few times, kept to their word on pricing- which I really liked...they werent pushy either. Go see Tyler if you are looking to get into a mini cooper- which is an awesome car!

Quick follow up , Raymond worked with the sales manager to have the car scheduled for service Monday 13th to look at the issues Picked the car up this morning ran much better , Service manager was able to note on the service ticket about the check engine light , though it was not a hard code , so not able to see what the fault was , however he did make a note in case we have future issues . car ran great very smooth

Overall I had an awesome experience purchasing through Global Imports Mini. Thomas King was extremely easy to work with and was extremely attentive to help with a quick purchase. I also had a confusing trade in purchase with two vehicles and Thomas was kind enough to go above and beyond and brave the roads of 285 to go pick up the 2nd vehicle so that I could get my trade in accomplished in a timely manner. The finance team was quick and easy to work with and got me into the vehicle I wanted at the rates I requested. Overall I had a fantastic experience with Mr. King as my sales representative at Global and would highly suggest he and Global for your next car purchase.

Josh took the time to call and text us with the service requirements that the car was ready or what's being worked on. I also enjoyed reviewing the service requirements while talking to Josh. The service team was extremely helpful. I took my MINI in with a brake pad system error, not knowing what was going on, and they remedied everything. The sensor was faulty, which they replaced, and they also updated my operating system so the error wouldn't show again.

During the service they kept checking in with updates, and the waiting area has a cappuccino and latte maker. (I'm easy to please.) When they were finished they had vacuumed, replaced the wiper blades, and a lot of other minimal things you don't expect to be included when you're going in for a specific reason.

Everything was also free because of my Boot-to-Bonnet warranty and service plan, and they gave me no issue about any of it. I'll be back with my MINI to see Lon for any services I need!

I went to have my second date on April 20th. Yes I did get lost and was late for my appointment, but, I really did expect more than what I got. I drove a 200 mile turn, sat and read for an hour, got a clean car, a bag of "Goodies" and a Happy Motoring! Waste of my time! I expected to learn more about my car, but instead, my day was non productive. If you are thinking about the second time around, rethink it! How disappointing!

Pete Pham helped us with our selection and is very knowledgeable, he put our interests first, no hard sell tactics. I would never bring my mini to Global Imports MINI...

I would never bring my mini to Global Imports MINI, ever! It took them over 4 service attempts to diagnose and repair my air conditioner. Their method of repair was to replace each component until the air conditioner started cooling again. On separate service attempts, they replaced the expansion valve, the compressor and finally the condenser before they corrected the problem. After each attempt, they never checked the temperature coming out of the vents to actually see if the air conditioner worked. I could go on and on regarding their lack of competence. Beware.

I was not happy with the customer service I received. I repeatedly asked the rep (Lon Miller) if all the services being done were included in the package other than the tire alignments which I had a coupon for. I ended up being charged more than the tire alignment. The mistake I made was I did not pay attention how much I paid for it at the cashier until I saw it on my bank statement. When I called and spoke with him, he was not apologetic. He said the alignments and balance rotation are done together, which maybe the case, but was not communicated to me. This is my 4th or 5th time going since I moved to Atlanta but I have not been satisfied with the service. Back in October 2016, when I went for my annual service, the same person told me that my service wasn't due when the oil change light was coming on in my car and gave me a price for oil change when I already have a maintenance package. I would like for someone to call me and explain to me the situation if you would like me to continue being a customer. Thank you!

I m never going to go anywhere else again. Every time I come here I am blown away by the service department. They are kind, attentive, and generous.
Even if I m just here to get windshield wiper blades, they carefully examine my whole car. But the other day was just exceptional. I was getting ready to go out of town and was kind of in a hurry so I made the mistake of going somewhere else instead. My check engine light was on and I wanted to get an oil change. The shop I went to change my spark plugs but then the car was literally shaking when I was idling. I was like WTF!? It wasn t doing this when I brought it here. What did you do? What s going on? They had no clue. So I called Mini global. They said bring it in. Normally running the analyzer is $135. But they didn t charge me anything. And they checked to see that the other shop used high-performance mini spark plugs. And they determined that the people who changed my oil didn t put the cap on tight which was causing air to get in the mix which is why my car was running funny. They tightened up the oil cap and washed my car. And they did this all while my little dog and I browsed the inventory. We were in and out before I could even finish my complementary cup of coffee. And my car was running like new. And it looked like it, too. And they didn t even charge me a dime. Talk about happy! I never thought I d write a review for car service but these guys are the best.

Before you buy a Mini from Global Import Mini Check out their service, they will promising the world and their service reps go above and beyond to promise that they will take care of any issue but when they really need to back up their promise just hollow promises. Talking to other Mini Owner - Top answers they will give you for rough idle - You re not using tier 1 gas, Carbon buildup on intake Manifold, Fuel Injectors needs cleaning. My Problem was a Faulty Fuel Pump that is on a Recall not Carbon build up on intake manifold. $700 for repair that was not needed. He Agreed that they should have tried the fuel pump first instead of doing the carbon cleaning on the manifold (Big Profit Margin). Get a Second Opinion I have been taking my mini to be serviced to Global Import Mini since I bought the car in 2008. They lost my trust today, last month I brought my mini in for a check engine light (I checked the code and it was for an engine misfire) and a coolant leak. I was told that the water pump was bad and the check engine light was due to Carbon build up on the intake manifold. I told them I just had the carbon build up cleaned 30k miles ago. I was questioning the carbon buildup diagnosis of issues with the mini cooper since it was cleaned by them. I had them fix the issue at a cost of $700 per item for repair. This is a known issue due to the Design of the engine where the oil vapors are re-circulated through the intake manifold and direct fuel injection system does not wash over the intake valves to keep them clean of deposits and the turbo models are worst about this. I checked with other mini owners and Carbon build up does happen but not every 30k miles. They told me they found a code in the on-board diagnostic for fuel pump and they were going to be replaced it to be on the safe side and it was covered under the warranty. Wow that was nice of them so I thought. This is where they lost my trust and I have to question everything now. I found out today that there was a recall on the fuel pump and all the symptoms I was having was due to the fuel pump and not carbon build up. It s a shame that they would tack on service just to make a sales quota. I just had the mini in for a scheduled maintenance and they did not address the recall on the fuel pump, the recall on for the fuel pump was already published at that time. I got the same line about it was the gasoline issue that it was not 3 tier fuel. I use nothing but premium from QT or Exxon. It s ironic that when the car was under warranty they just did the minimum work but once out of warranty all there are all kinds of services required. Warranty work is not as profitable as regular service but push service that may not be required to make sales quota. They lost my trust. I will have to find another place for service...

I've been a customer at Global Imports MINI for over seven years, and they have always taken excellent care of me, both on the sales and service sides. I recently brought my car in to have a window replaced after my car was broken into. It was a stressful, crappy situation, but Josh and the crew did everything they could to make the repair stress-free, including putting me in a great loaner car and hooking me up with some great new tires while my car was in the shop. They even sent me text updates along the way. I'm a huge fan of Global!

Recently my wife and I took our 2012 MINI to Global Imports MINI for service. At 15,000 plus miles the car demanded service. We only went to the dealer because the car's free maintenance period was still in effect. Before going I told my wife that even though we were only wanting our free maintenance, the dealership would find a way to charge us for something. So the service writer didn't know that our visit was a test of their honesty. The car needed tire rotation and front brake service. The service writer told us that tire rotation was not included in the free maintenance and would cost $60. We just looked at each other and agreed. But when we got the car and went to pay we were charged $60 for tire balancing (which we did not ask for) and the paper said that rotation was gratis. Additionally there was a $10 fee. For what, I don't know. Now we know for sure that this dealership's service dept is not honest. If we have to collect anymore free maintenance I may just drive to MINI of South Atlanta. And if you have a MINI that is out of warranty like our 2010 Clubman, go to Harrison Motorsports in Roswell. They are honest and do great work.

I bought my car in for a simple service, coolant flush and oil change. Then a few hours later my car leaked all the coolant out. Firstly when I called I never got a call back from my service advisor. I had to call 3 times until I got him on the phone. Secondly they did not believe my car leaked. I drove my car back, after filling it with water, then had to leave it overnight. I was diagnosed with a broken thermostat. All in all not a great experience.

I was told I needed over $3000 worth of work which included 4 new tires, all new brakes and rotors, damaged caliber, tear in my drive belt. I took the car to two other places for a second opinion and all I needed was to replace my brake fluid. Even Pep Boys wouldn't sell me tires cause they said I didn't need any. They wouldn't give me new brakes cause they said the ones I have are in good condition. No one is in the business of turning people away for service - but 2 places said I did not need all this stuff that Global Imports Mini was charging me for. And this is not the first time. A couple years ago they told me I had two oil leaks, no one else could find those leaks. I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN. I WISH I COULD PUT LESS THAN 1 STAR. THEY ARE GETTING OVER ON THAT TOO.

Although the service manager was extremely polite and accommodating, what was supposed to be a routine thermostat replacement ended up being a 5 hour ordeal. Turns out the mechanic failed to catch a critical cross over pipe that is a part of the thermostat assembly. It had failed as well. A standard collateral possibility. This they had to replace AFTER they had reassembled the whole unit. Which meant they had to take it all apart and reassemble the thermostat with the cross over pipe costing me an extra $175 and an additional 2 hours of waiting. Because of the nature of this common failure in what BMW classifies as a "Known Bad Part" I was forced to go to a Mini dealer and not my normal service place. They would have caught it because they know to look at everything besides the one singular device that had failed (i.e. the thermostat). I would have only been out my $100 deductible out of the $275 total bill.

If you are coming from out of town - one word - DON'T. I live 3 1/2 hours away, and found a car on their website, at what I thought was a good price. I called and set up an appointment to look at the car. I made it clear I was driving from out of town, and didn't want to make the drive if they couldn't assure me it would be available. Floyd assured me it would be and that he would have it washed and waiting on me at the front. I even called back and spoke with someone else and told them I was coming from out of town. A third person called me to confirm my appointment, and told me the same thing. A TOTAL OF 3 PEOPLE from the dealership told me it would be waiting on me when I got there. When I arrived (5 minutes before my scheduled appointment), you guessed it, someone else was looking at the car. They began negotiating for the car (with Floyd no less), and the dealership wouldn't begin working with me until they finished with the first customer. I walked out of the dealership before they finished negotiating with the other customer. I don't even know if they bought it, doesn't matter. I decided I didn't want to do business with people who didn't keep their word. And the price? By the time you add in all the extra fees they charge, the price was actually worse than the market. They charge a dealer admin fee, like everyone else (but a little higher than most), but they also add on a "GPS" fee and a reconditioning fee, both of which are several hundred dollars. A lack of integrity and they nickel and dime you - no thank you. I can't imagine how they deal with customers who have problems after the sale. I ended up buying a car from Carland Acura. They were the epitome of professionalism and very customer friendly. And competitive prices. I highly recommend going there instead of Global Mini. STAY AWAY FROM GLOBAL MINI!!!!

I needed a new key for my 04 Mini Cooper. This dealership jerked me around with arbitrary requirements and hidden expenses. I will not be returning to this dealership.

I called the dealership to order a replacement key with remote unlock. The person in parts said I would have to come to the dealership in person and show ID and proof of ownership for the car to get a new key. Since I live two hours away, this was very inconvenient, but not an unreasonable precaution.

When I ordered the new key ($165 for a key with remote unlock), I asked if they could ship it to the address on my ID and registration. They refused, saying I would have to come back in person with ID to collect the key.

Another two hour drive there, and the person working the parts counter asked for my name then handed over the keys. He only checked my ID when he noticed it was already in my hand, after handing me the keys.

I get home only to find the key remote does not unlock my car. A conversation with a service person at the dealership reveals it needs to be programmed, which will cost another $134 and require another trip to the dealership.
