GAINSCO Review

Celia lavarreda was awesome last night. I only have 3 minutes left to add a vehicle to my policy and she helped me add it even though I couldn t make it to the bank to deposit cash into my account. She let me know that I can call in the morning and make changes to my account and make a deposit of a certain amount to regulate the changes i just had made. I wouldn t of been able to drive anywhere to add anything without her help and knowledge. I hope you all reward her greatly because I sure she s providing this great service to everyone she speaks with.

I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a fair quote with out wasting a lot of your time!

Ive been a customer for over a year now. I was in a 1 car accident. My agent Claudia Mendina doesn't care nor calls and keeps up with her JOB or customers. When I called her about my car which has been sitting in the shop taken apart waiting for Gainsco to provide 2nd supplement for 2 weeks now. First thing she said was "Oh I don't know " after I got upset and told her I'm big about google reviews. She said " oh please give us good review please. Dont give a bad one. We are trying to make service better." This insurance is a joke. 1 phone number to call anyone. Sit on hold for 45 minutes. Then if 2nd supplement is needed you the customer has to find email which is only way to contact someone for extra supplement. Decent monthly payments is only good I've found with this insurance. But you get what you pay for I guess.

This company is a joke, it was a disaster to cancel their insurance policy, their customer service didn't properly "upload" my new proof of insurance so I received a letter from FL state department telling me they are going to cancel my driver's licence for non insurance!!! I did sent them proof of my new insurance !!!! They would charge every month a different price and they would never be able to explain why ??? Honestly it's a bootleg GEICO, DO NOT SIGN UP W/ THEM! I have a big social media following and I made sure to pass the message this company is a scam! horrible service pay extra for a better and well known insurance it's worth it. Did I forgot to mention that they are trying to charge for month when I already told them I had insurance ?? They send out a bill to collection that I'm trying to resolve!! GARBAGE COMPANY

Haven t had any problems with them till now my car insurance was due this month the 16th I m in auto enrollment they haven t taken any money out my account I ve been calling for 3 days and nobody will answer the phone HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE

I cannot begin to explain my complaint with this company! I have them currently. I filed a claim last Tuesday and it s now Monday and nothing has been done! although it wasn t my fault I may as well have said it was. My adjuster is a joke. Doesn t communicate with me. I even left a msg with his lead and still nothing. All he said today at 10:20am was someone was going to call me from another department to verify info and it s now 6:30 and no one called. I had gainsco before but I may just step away from them! They don t want to provide a rental even though I m paying for it on my policy. Just want more info ten fold. Should ve stayed where I was! Lesson learned.

I was hit by one of your drivers three weeks ago and still cant get anything done about the damages to my vehicle. After weeks of not being able to get anyone to help me and never seeing an adjuster I received a check in the mail for an amount that isn't anywhere near what it will take to fix my car. No rental vehicle or anything. I called your toll phone number for dallas and they told me to talk to my local office that I can never get a hold of!!!! Im filing a report with the BBB.

If every phone call of business was as easy as dealing with your customer agent Vanessa West then i would have more hours in the day and a happier disposition in which to enjoy them. iI was very happy with her friendly and fast efficient service. I went online recently to get auto insurance quotes. One of the first companies I received a quote from was GAINSCO Auto Insurance. Shirley Bell was the agent I received my quote from. I was pleased with the amount of savings I would benefit from, should I choose to be insured by GAINSCO. I proceeded to continue seeking and receiving quotes from other companies over the next few days, as to find the best balance of savings and personal satisfaction. My policy with my current insurance provider was nearing it's expiration and renewal date. I continued to be contacted by and re-sent quotes from over aggressive providers. I truly believe my mind had been made up after speaking with Ms. Bell at GAINSCO on that first day. Ms. Bell was very professional, knowledgeable, and informative as well as warm and sincere in her telephone presence and demeanor. GAINSCO was always a front runner in the savings comparisons I had compiled, however the initial interaction with Ms. Bell on day one was a key component in my decision making that led to my choosing GAINSCO to be my auto insurance provider. I would absolutely recommend anyone seeking coverage or switching coverage to check out what GAINSCO has to offer. I'm pocketing an extra 30 bucks a month now and have solid peace of mind that should I need something done, or have any policy questions that my new agent, Shirley Bell, will be effective and easy to reach...thank you GAINSCO. Liz took care of me and made the process very easy by sending me a text message to provide proof of insurance and drivers license. Gave me the best rest for liability and was patient! When I called back the next day to enroll, I called her directly since she offered her direct line and took care of me within 15 minutes or less! Wonderful lady!

Gainsco is the ABSOLUTE WORST INSURANCE COMPANY I VE EVER WORKED WITH. They give small insurance company s a bad reputation. Not only are they not helpful they accidentally cancelled my policy and tried to make me think it was my fault when it was there error. They never told me they canceled my policy so I was driving around uninsured not even knowing because of them. Don t waste your money or time.

I will never use this company again...I called to cancel my insurance and was told I had to email them a reason why and other stuff plus my policy started on the 13th of Sept...I paid $220 then, cancelled my policy today and they took out $218.99 off my debit card this morning for a monthly payment...When I called them I was told it would be at least 30 days before I receive my refund...

Johnny Garcia and the GAINSCO Insurance family took great care of me. I didn t feel as if I was a burden as some insurance companies could sometimes make you feel. Johnny took the time to explain everything question I had for him. Kudos.

Do not waste your money here folks! Gainsco Auto Insurance is a joke! Some of the employees that work for Gainsco are incompetent and lack proper training! ...The supervisor isn t any better! I m switching back to GEICO!

Customer service staff are rude and it takes at least 20-30 minutes to get someone to answer the phone. There is no one for my car dealer to email to get documents or any lien-holder portal to verify anything. Worst customer service hands down!

I truly enjoyed my experience with GAINSCO and my Agent Johnny Garcia! When I called I was hesitant and tired after calling and speaking with a few other insurance companies already. I was just about to hang up when Johnny came on the line. He was pleasant, professional, and a true joy to work with. I already had a quote from searching online and figured that Johnny would try to up sell me on something else. Boy, was I wrong; he took my quote number and then still got me a better deal than I was quoted online. My paperwork was in my email before I could even hang up the phone. Been looking for hours for the Roadside assistance number. I called the help desk and they never came back to the phone. Regular office hours start at 8am. What's the roadside assistance number? Never in my life had I ever had this issue. The insurance is not cheap either, I would expect more if I pay more. Cancelling asap!

This company is a absolute joke, got a policy, gave proof of prior insurance (was 6 months old but while being overseas I didn't have the cars covered so no newer cards or policy's available) and due to that they cancelled my policy. Here is the kicker, they say I owe them money and yet had a way to TAKE DIRECT WITHDRAWAL I SET UP!!!!!!!

If someone wasn't driving a vehicle and it wasn't insured while in Afghanistan exactly what would you like me to do to get you more current cards for policies that don't exist!?!?! I can't travel back in time...but if I could first thing I would do is never use this company to insure my shoes let alone a car.

I went on the internet to find affordable insurance companies and found Gainco. I am very pleased to have gotten the gentleman I spoke with Mr. Johnny Garcia thr man is very pleasant, knowledge, and super helpful. Some much so that I mainly use cash I had to fund a prepaid card to make the payment and future payments. The man struck as a person who genuinely cared and some one I 2ant to do business with that I waited to make the payment the next day because when I had called it was close to close. Johnny had given me a direct number to cut thru and sort of cue. All in all it was very painless process and above all around $70 cheaper than what I was paying with the big insurance companies, Thank you, Gainsco and thank you Johnny.

I would like to say today I had the best customer service I think I have had from any other company that I have dealt with, I had some issues with my account and it took some time but the problem was solved by Irma Gallegos and her professionalism at what she does. I really felt like she cared and was willing to sacrifice hey time to help me. If I have any problems I will definitely give her another call again it really makes me appreciate Gainsco 100x more!! I needed to add a second car and it was easy and inexpensive.

This is the worst experience I ever had with insurance. I had a accident and my adjusters gave me, the worst experience. They where being Sarcastic and gave me attitude the whole process. I had evidence for my case that will turn the responsibility in my favor but they didn't want to view or listening to it. The adjusters where very unprofessional. I got more support from the opposite insurance company. This is a good insurance company but horrible adjusters.

I DEAL WITH INSURANCE COMPANIES ON A DAILY BASES. I HAVE NEVER DEALT WITH AN INSURANCE COMPANY WHO IS THIS HARD TO GET IN TOUCH WITH. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND...I MEAN NEVER. I CALL AND MAJORITY OF THE TIME THE LINE IS BUSY, NOT ALLOWING ME TO EVEN LEAVE A MESSAGE. YOU WOULD THINK A BUSINESS OF THIS MAGNITUDE WOULD BE RAN BETTER THAN THIS MICKEY MOUSE OPERATION.

So far so good. I had Sandra Mendoza and she was excellent. I will review again when I find out how they handle claims, customer service.etc. What I can say is that I saved $130 a month! Yes, I am serious. Check it out. Can't hurt to get a quote!

The WORST customer service from any company EVER. Adjuster and claims supervisor made promises to me to make arrangements for a rental, then when the day came told me they would have never agreed to that and suggested that I try duct taping my vehicle together or using a bungee cord until they get around to getting me a rental. I would give zero stars if it were an option. steer clear.

I cancelled my policy after finding a better provider at a lower rate. I had been a GAINSCO customer for quite a while. I paid my monthly bill by automatic draft and NEVER missed a payment. Weeks after canceling my policy, GAINSCO withdrew another payment and refuses to refund my money. THIS IS THEFT!

I had gotten a quote from Progressive and it changed three times in two days and down payment went from $61.00 to $249.00 Got a speeding ticket in Lyman and paid extra for a no point violation and it s listed as hazardous driving! At any rate I tried everyone on line and kept getting call centers! This went on for two days! Canceled Geico . Told me they would review in 6 months and it would come down! Nah went up! Finally talked to an actual agent named Johnny Garcia! By the time we were through, less than 10 minutes, I had my quote and his personal phone where I could call him back! Wanted to check with the General also. Tried esurance too! Called him back and he was with a customer and said he would call me back! 5 minutes later I had my insurance with Gainsco and at less than the original quote! Oh and by the way esurance said they were unable to insure me at this time! I was afraid I was going to lose my license and when that happens it s costly getting them back! Thank you Johnny Garcia! Direct line no extension. I m saving it!!!!!

Cons the customer service reps and the ones over them has the nastiest attitudes they have all these hidden charges they costing me more money than I'm saving will be changing company asap!!!!!!!

I had an issue today that I initially made contact with Mr. Jose Mimoso. He was very Professional, showed empathy more importantly he listened. I was so upset.

He calmed my fears and apologized on the behalf of GAINSCO.. Additionally, went a step further being that he was in Sales. He could have blown me off instead. Mr. Mimoso sent an email to Ms. Bertha Rodriguez in Customer Service.

She apologized again on the behalf of GAINSCO. Also, listen with empathy assisted and calmed my fears as well. The both of them are a definite asset to your company. I will go so far to say, I'd recommend them for a raise.

Even in the most of things going on at GAINSCO that was out of their control. They remained totally in control in the situation. I would advise anyone looking for good insurance at a great price.

The most important and impressive thing for me is good customer service. So, if anyone is looking for insurance needs. I am referring you to GAINSCO. My message to Corporate is to give these two very Professional individuals a raise.
