SUPER BAD EXPERIENCE - the NEGLIGENCE on their service - (no words) when it comes to dealing with this company claims department. we had a car accident where one of their customers hit us and they ignore the fact that there were injuries caused - so they disregard those facts - "and took care of it" by firing the person that didn't process it" - now all the sudden they close the case without having a written agreement and/or taking care of the actual claim.

(Johnny Garcia and Gainsco Auto Insurance) is very helpful!! so thankful to have found this insurance company!!

GAINSCO is the WORST insurance company ever!!!! I was hit from behind by THEIR driver on 1-35. She was texting and didn t see that traffic was stopped until about 2 seconds before she rear ended me at about 60mph. It has now been OVER A MONTH and my car still sits at the repair shop because GAINSCO adjuster continues to low ball the dealership with JUNK YARD parts to replace the damage! I had absolutely NO fault in this accident but I am the one getting the shaft! My car is 2 years old with low Mileage and was in excellent condition. Ive been in a rental for over a month now. I just want my car repaired properly and back in my garage!!! Again, OVER A MONTH & still NO END IN SIGHT!!!!

They don t care about their customers always had problems with them ! Don t waist your time and your money !

I have been a policy holder with Gainsco for years and I absolutely love it. The prices are great and I can always give them a call with any questions or concerns that I may have.

Worst insurance company ever. One of their insurers struck the back of my vehicle and been trying to take my car in for almost a month. They only want to take your car in on Monday or Tuesday's which is not possible with my job because of hours work. The dealership can take my car any day as the damage is minor. After the runaround and getting to a actual person finally they did not want to give me a rental because it's a Thursday. I had to demand and get snippy with Janet Wilson in their claims department in this fly by night insurance company. She she then said it was not their policy to give the rental car at that time frame and that they usually do it on Mondays and Tuesdays and I said that's unacceptable as this is the time that I have off and this is the time that works for me to take my vehicle in and I demanded that she gave me a rental. Janet Wilson proceeded to demoralize the claimant and tell me what's what and talk to me like I'm a child because I was demanding that she give me a rental car reservation number for today. She said it would've been better if I would've let her know ahead of time. What's the difference if I would've let her know ahead of time versus today for just a reservation number I've already worked it out with enterprise, we just need the reservation number from them.

Do not deal with this insurance company. You can see why they give you low rates! Look at the other reviews of claimants or when they have to pay out. You don't want an insurance company like this!

Jhonny was very personable and understandable. He made buying car insurance much easier and less stressful then other insurance companies.

Hi everyone.
I'm their existing customer that when i called them to get some help to do some updates with them...one of them told me to stop by to give them my account info.
But when i went there i confirmed my policy number at this location with them.
Gainsco auto insurance sent two people and kicked me out of there as their customer.
I don't know but they didn't give an option and i personally do not appreciate thier communication. I've paid money to get service not to be bullied by them it's not right at all.
I don't deal with Lie Fake and Games.
This is the worst treatment customers should be treated with respect not that way.

I have never in my life dealt with such an incompetent business. The lack of customer service displayed by the supervisors and managers is incomprehensible. If you would like for your policy to be cancelled unknowingly and without notification, although you have paid your full monthly bill, this is the company to choose!

I had the most enjoyable experience talking with Dana Hemphill at Gainsco Auto Insurance this morning. She was sweet, knowledgeable and patient.
I got a great deal and she made my day get off to a awesome start! !

I been with GAINSCO for 9 years I was paying $287 dollars each month. .after I cancel they send me a bill for penalties for $217 ..be very careful with them they are thieves...after paying on time for 9 years with no claims.and they do this to me..

They're refusing to pay $500 to get my car fixed. My deductible is 1000 and total cost of repairs is 3100 and they will only cover 2600 minus my deductible. Been insured with them for 5 months or so. Would give 0 stars if i could.

Company is good as far as the price for my policy. But I had a flat tire and it took 20 mins of being on hold before I finally got a hold of a (very rude) customer service agent, only to be placed on hold for another 15 mins before reaching another agent, only to be told that I would have to call yet another number to get assistance with my flat tire. After getting the new number I was told to have a good day and the lady hung up when I still had questions regarding my policy.

My experience with GAINSCO was exceptional. David Castilleja was very informative, helpful and really cared about finding me the lowest price possible. Signing the online insurance documents was extremely fast and easy to use. He walked me through each step which took literally 2 minutes to finish. I searched many companies looking for the cheapest quote only to find that the rates were pretty much all the same, very high. I am so happy that I came across GAINSCO. Johnny Garcia, my representative from Gainsco made the buying insurance experience a pleasure. He accommodated and worked with me for two days to ensure I got the policy I needed and at a price that was substantially lower than many others in the industry. He was very patient with me despite some personal difficulties I had during the time which sort of interfered with my insurance matter. I would give him 100 stars if I could and would definitely recommend him and Gainsco to anyone I know. I hope that Gainsco sees and acknowledges the type of employee they have on their team and that he is compensated well, as he makes the true difference!

Please get a real ins company. They are so no worth the time and frustration.

I can not express enough how much I dislike this company. Their driver hits me and every conversation I have with them I am made to feel like the bad guy. I have been waiting on a check from them and finally used my own money to get my truck back from the body shop. Of course now that I have done that I am getting no help. I want my money back! It is bad enough it has affected our family business but now it is affecting my home bills too!

DO NOT CONDUCT ANY BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY.
I called to set up a policy, the agent withdrew money from the wrong account, caused an overdraft and not only will I not get all of my money back, but it'll be in check form god knows how long from now while my account is overdrawn 300.
These people are little more than organized criminals.
Do not be fooled by the cheap quotes.

I was stressed and could not find a affordable car insurance plan but I spoke with Johnny Garcia at Gainsco and he quoted me a plan I couldn't refuse, thank you so much for your help, I was insured right away! you guys rock!

The rep was SUPER! Not pushy, only sold me what I needed, and their costs were a little less than half of Progressive. From the time I called to the time I was legal to drive.......less than 15 minutes.

This is a such a sketchy company. I paid my policy last month and this month and they sent me a 10 day cancellation letter. Getting in touch with them is IMPOSSIBLE!! Everything is third party so you never actually speak with Gainsco so this person is telling you that your payment was rejected two months ago and that s why your policy is all of the sudden canceled. I even checked my bank records and the payment is there. Stay away from this company!!

My agent was Luz Ramirez and along with her manager Bertha Rodriguez gave me the greatest customer service I ever had in auto insurance company.

I am very pleased and happy with the extraordinary service I have received from the general manager Berta Rodriguez that I will recommend any body to become a customer of Gainsco Auto Insurance. Over the weekend I had a terrible experience with somebody from customer service but Bertha whom I informed about the event took immediate care of my case bringing to me the most efficient result I have ever experienced.
This company should be very proud about having such as efficient professional with the best human quality.

trying to receive a claim check is a scam, 1of their insured hit my Honda CR-V, did all I was asked, difficult to get them to answer phone ,for follow up, rarely returned calls, told me check was in the mail, 2 weeks ago, no check, called them, told me check was VOIDED,
of course, CSR, could not tell me why, but will
look into it, & get back to me, its been over a month, now, I'm driving a front crumpled SUV,
don even ask about a rental,

This has been the worst experience ever .Gainsco DOES NOT come thru on any promises to customers not even a simple call back .After an accident in July and filing the claim I had to drive a month and a half with no head light (still paying FULL COVERAGE payments) I finally got in contact with a supervisor names Charles who was ridiculous rude,had no good explanation why my vehicle was still waiting for repairs, never offered to handle the claim himself due, never even apologized for the 4 calls i had made just that dsy to even get a manger to speak to.The best excuse this manager could cook up was finally the adjustor was contacting a number listed on my policy, not the number I had left repeated times on voicemails . Finally when I got an estimate for my damages ( in September!!!) it was not nearly enough to cover the expense. So i was advised to not use my regular location for repairs and instead use a cheap collision shop to be sure it didnt exceed the estimated amount. If you are looking for secure coverage and you value your vehicle and the maintenance done to the car DO NOT INSURE WITH GAINSCO . Even with full coverage if an accident occurs even if ur not the party at fault you will have to fix your own car. Payments to this business are pointless.

I don't know how they have a high rating but from my experience their customer service is very unprofessional!!! It takes 30 mins or longer to get them on the phone. Also when they do finally answer either their phone is cracking up or their computer is acting up!! I'm over this place and their lack to be more professional!

Excellent service. Mr. Garcia was currently helping another customer when I called to recieve insurance form Gainsco. He asked politely if he could call me back after he was finished assisting the other customer. I got a callback in about five minutes. The rest of the call was quick and painless, and some of the cheapest insurance I ve ever recieved. He offered several optional services and described them in detail.

Waist of an insurance company.. only use this if it's your ultimate last option.. they are impossible to deal with.. take at least 10 mins to get to customer service.. they have insane cancelation policy.. what a scam... They they some USLESS lawyers firm or halfway house lawyer wanna be's call u with inaccurate information.. the majority of this customer service call center agent are really useless and need to go back to 8th grade and do Simple math . This insurance is really a scam... Stick with geico..

The hold time with Gainsco Auto Insurance was way too long but once I got through to agent Johnny Garcia the rest of the call was perfect. He was able to solve all my questions and give me a good rate for my auto.

Horrible service. I didn't hear one word from the adjustor assigned to my claim. I got a by law letter and that was it. They didn't even return my insurance companies calls. I finally talked to the adjustor today and she hung up on me!!! Poor customer service

Just signed up for vehicle insurance over the phone. Completed online through my email. This was way easier and faster than I ever expected. The man on the phone was very professional, pleasant, helpful and courteous. He answered my questions and I didn't feel pressured nor rushed. Great service, wonderful experience, quick and easy. This is a joke! A HUGE scam! Buyers beware! I purchased insurance on Friday and paid my first month now they want to charged my card again! I tried calling the office and nothing! I tried going online and nothing! I can't even see my agreement! Oh but if you need to make a payment that link works just fine!
