Frauds they will lie to you and do whatever they can to close a sale the were going to run my credit and they ran it over 10 times when I authorized only once then they offer you all these warrantys saying they cover everything then you go to file a claim and guess what it's not covered. Frauds all the way around. Then when you go to cancel the fake warranty that d9es not cover anything they tell you it can not be canceled. Good thing i did my research before i came and know that is a lie. Horrible service all the way around do not do business with these people.

Drove 15+ miles to there. Vehicle they said they had to test drive was not there. Person we were suppose to meet with who sent us confirmation email was not there. Manager who offered $25 gift card to come test drive was not there.
Today by far has been the worst experience as a customer with Fredy Kia Gulf freeway location. On Saturday June 23 at 11 am went to have a simple oil change done where it was discovered I had a leak in my Tubo line and was told by Mike Solis to bring it back on a weekday so his technician can look further into the problem! I go home and schedule online the maintenance to have them look into the problem for today 06/26/18 at 5 pm per the website it was a time to select ! Me and my husband left early from our medical jobs and show up to the appointment 15 minutes early , as soon we were greeted by two old gentlemen who immediately got rude with us because they said we didn t have a appointment, I attended to show them my confirmation number per the website and still we treated unprofessional. Then he comes Mike Solis who started taking to us as if we were stupid how dare we show up at 5 pm when all his guys left for the day and he couldn t help us and was talking so rude to us for no reason! My husband demanded our keys back and we would take our services else where Mike Solis didn t like that response and told my husband get the hell outta there ,at that point my husband was so upset how we were being treated and explain to Mike we both work in customer service you should have courtesy and respect how you deal with customers, Mike got angry we all went outside and he wanted to fight my husband and kept being very aggressive towards him my husband! They need to pull the surveillance tapes which will prove what I am saying , this is not how you treat long time customers! Mangers need to go to customer service training ASAP, I will never purchase a car from here ever again !!
While out of town with my family I experienced car trouble and Fredy Kia was the closest place I could get to. The service department at Fredy Kia wasn't even open at the time but they were willing to help me get back on the road. I don't even drive a Kia, but that didn't matter to them. They know how to treat a person and they will get my business next time I am in the market for a new vehicle.
Very disappointed with my experience today at Fredy Kia. My wife and I are looking to replace her Sportage with something bigger, so we decided to look at the Sorento and Telluride. The sales person, Brandon, no issues with him, showed us both vehicles. We drove the Sorento, and returned to the dealership to drive the Telluride. When Brandon went to get the keys, he returned with another salesperson, Robert. Robert told us that we were not allowed to drive the Telluride, because they were "basically sold", not that they were sold, but that that someone else was interested in them. While at their dealership, we saw another couple go on a test drive of a Telluride, so this explanation made little sense. When we asked why others were allowed to drive the car, he told us that the we must have misunderstood and that we actually just saw a porter moving the car. The model we were looking at was about $33K, mid level, and one of 3 on the lot. Their test drive route was only about 3 miles, but apparently we weren't allowed to put even that few miles on that car. At no point while looking at the Telluride, had anyone indicated that the car we were looking at, climbing in, and considering purchasing was already sold. Robert came off as the typical sleazy sales person and ruined my otherwise positive experience at this dealership. I know who I will not be visiting when it's time to purchase my next car.
My husband went to this place with his financing already secure and signed away his Jeep and took the new car home. He was called a few days later and told that he had to bring his car back and get a more expensive car to balance out the financing between the trade in and new car. THIS is definitely something that should be determined between the finance company and dealership prior to driving away with a new vehicle. The papers were never ready to sign. My husband has to come in many times for various reasons to get papers signed. And finally, they never turned over his second key fob that comes with the car because they refused to give it to him. There s many things I m probably missing, but take my warning and never ever ever associate with these people.
Absolutly horrible service in parts department, operator almost never answers phone to transfer to parts department. Ive done buisness with this store for yrs and never experienced this service until now, poor managment by Joey which wont reason with customers. Our body shop will seek other kia dealers on all future parts.
This has got to be the best customer service I've ever received when trying to buy a car. James Maddox was extremely kind and patient through the whole process. He was with me from the beginning to the end of the process. It don't get any better than this.
Jake was very professional in selling me my new Kia Sorrento. He took time to make sure I was getting the features I wanted at the best price. Very nice of him to program all the 'bells and whistles' for me. Follow up was very nice also...he called to make sure I liked my vehicle, how it was running, and if I had any questions. I recommend Jake to anyone interested in a Kia.
I will NEVER buy another car from this place. I went to the smallar used cars dealership on 45, gulf freeway. The customer service is very slow, unorganized. They sold us a car with a cracked windshield. A non working horn and a non working cell phone charger port. Took the car back the next day. They gave us the run around. Made us go to the other side of houston off of 59 and hopper road to uniglass to gave the windshield replaced. They had to "special order" the horn which took almost 2 weeks. The car wasn't detailed or cleaned when we first got it. They never have finished that. But point being. This place has got one sideways operation going. Don't buy from here.
It was a wonderful experience, I must tell you. As a first time buyer I had already been to several other places and left dissatisfied or just plain disgusted at the terms offered. At this dealership, I saw that desire to sell. Both Jeremy and Mr. Foster were amazing and went above and beyond to accommodate my budget and what I was looking for. The finance manager, whose name I cannot recall at the moment, made the rather tedious process of going through paperwork a breeze and was very thorough. Jeremy even salvaged my parking stickers for me, braving the cold. They made the whole process feel less of a transaction and the service was comparable to a dealership of a luxury brand.
Horrible experience - Do not buy from Fredy Kia. Salesperson closed deal with wrong VIN and 3 months later it's still not corrected. Have worked with 4 different salespeople all of whom work there an average of 1 week before quitting and/or getting fired. Terrible dealership - avoid at all costs. I would give Zero stars if that was an option. Mike
CJ is very disrespectful and a disgusting person to consult a deal with. CJ was very irate and unprofessional while coordinating a deal for my mother. CJ threatened to not refund a down payment on a car deal that did not go through at no fault to my mother. CJ yelled at my mother and I when my mother asked him imperative questions regarding her deal and all that her deal entailed. CJ should be fired and has no skills or intelligence to deal with the public in a customer service environment. Allen was very helpful and patient while consulting with my mother on the details of the car agreement. Allen is the person to see when coordinating a deal and CJ should NOT be employeed at Fredy Kia on Gulf Freeway because he is very rude and told my mother and I to get out of his office because he says that she asked him the same question on multiple occasions while trying to gain clarity of all the finite details of her total payment for the car she was interested in purchasing. I hope that his superior will fire him because he does not know how to converse with the public. CJ is very incompetent and does not have any respect for customers coming to his office to spend their money which is keeping him employeed.
I am a Happy!!! customer as well as an employee and I have gotten all my family and friends great cars even when everyone else turned them down not here we got them into great cars.
I bought a 2014 Ford Hybrid Cmax I believe it's a great car and I'm glad I bought it. The people at Fredy Kia were very helpful. Thank you for everything.
Insurance Company had my personal vehicle repaired there after being involved in collision. There body shop performed an excellent job, very satisfied with results.
Robert Bryant is the guy to go see ! Super professional. He made my car buying process fun and easy. If you are looking to buy a vehicle without dealing with the typical rude pushy salesman then Robert is your guy! Highly recommend!!!!
Bait and Switch warning! The problem that I had was that what they had in inventory did not match with what was online. So make sure if you have a vehicle that you want to buy from online, make sure someone is there with a physical match to what you see. Make sure they know where it is on the lot and have their hands on it. They said that it is because the guy that takes pictures for the lot takes a while to put them online and take them down when they sale. So, Why even use that service? Otherwise, please go speak to Tyrone and he'll do his best to make it right. Finance guys are nice and even receptionist is really nice. However, business practices are not nice at all.
Very disappointed. We went there to inquire about a Tahoe because it was the only type of vehicle we had been searching for today and we pulled up and asked for the price. I also searched it online and verified that what they said matched the price online. They offered to even try and match a better deal that my husband had previously been offered with a different dealer (we shopped around quite a bit that day). We were given the $37,999 price when we inquired and we applied and were there for a couple of hours going back and forth agreeing on the terms. We finally came to an agreement on the payment amount and the sales guy Ahmed asked my husband to sign the form but when he did my husband noticed the price was different. The listed price on the form was over $42,000 plus add ons like windshield repair and a couple of other things that sounded like mumbo jumbo. Plus tax title and license brought the price to over $46,000!! We pointed out the price discrepancy and they acted like they didn t know that the price was different. I say they because there was a hispanic male assisting Ahmed since it was his first day ... they both stepped away and came back and started asking if we were in the military or members of USAA or other things to which we replied no. So then he said then we couldn t get the discounted price. Which in the 3 hours we were there hadn t been mentioned that the price given to us initially came with special terms, nor did it say that online. So I made sure to tell them that in the nicest way possible but I was upset. He was asking my husband to sign and agree to the payment rate but covering the price breakdown. Shady as hell. But of course my husband noticed when he moved his hand to ask him to sign and questioned it. Needless to say I told them it says INTERNET PRICE, as in world wide web... as in anyone... not please see disclosure... that is false advertising!!
Worst car buying experience ever. I purchased a vehicle with ac issues and transmission problems. After coming back 3 times tgey finally repaired ac only then to find out I needrd a new transmission. I has the car less than 30 days at that point. I returned the car after being told they woukd repair it only to have it returned with the same issue. Now it seems as though noone knows me at the dealership. I have been shuffled from person to person only to now being told to contact a Nissan dealership since I have the extended warranty. Also after receiving paperwork from the finance company I then realize the car is being sold for much more than I was told. Now im sruck with a high car note on a vehicle that needs repairs and apparently it's noones problem but mine
Horrible! I purchased the additional warranty that lasts for 10 years. Thought it over and cancelled after a few weeks. They lost my refund check that may have been taken by a former angry employee, then found it and supposedly sent it back in for my refund. Then they claimed to know nothing about it. They said the did not keep noes on this case. Took 8 visits in person until I finally was assisted by a bookkeeper, who was able to help. The "manager" even told me I was overreacting even though I stayed calm. No apology even though it took 7 months and 8 visits to be refunded! Never again will I visit this place, nor should you!
Unforgettable experience. Mario was very attentive and was very knowledgeable. I left with a brand new vehicle with an affordable payment. I will recommend to to all of my friends.
I took my car in for service work and it took 7 weeks to get it back. Every time I called I was placed on hold for over 20 minutes waiting for an update on my vehicle. Every time I spoke to someone they communicated a different time frame. Who doesn't need their car for 7 weeks? The worst part is that I asked them up front how long it would take and they told me up to 4 weeks. No apologies, only excuses.
The experience was awesome. They really really worked with me due to the credit I had. David was awesome words cant express how grateful I am. Thank you Fredy Kia for helping me out. I speak Greatness and Prosperity on every staff that works there.
Unfortunately I was not able to purchase a vehicle because I don't have good credit and I don't have a good down payment amount. But I can't deny how professionaly my case was handle by the salesman and the sales manager at the used cars lot. I sure will come back !
I bought a use Ford Explorer from Kia. Nile was the salesperson who helped me. He was great he did everything he could to help me also informed me on alot. The bad side was Nile told me they were going to gas my car up and it would be detailed. Well when i got to the car it wasn't detailed, my gas was on half tank, my radio didnt work, and the wind shield wiper fluid was low. I didnt say anything because i had to leave to go to work. I took it back two days later I spoke with Nile about my radio and the detail for the car. He told me they wouldn't detail it because it was already detailed. I have to take it to Ford so they can fix it because it was under warranty. Bottom line make sure everything that needs to be fixed with the car done before leaving. Lessoned learned!! Other than that it was an ok experience.
Fredy Kia is STILL selling new and certified vehicles in DEFECTIVE CONDITIONS. Besides this, the personnel is rude, uncooperative, included volatile if you bring or show proof and/or make the right questions. (Allergic to fair trade?)
At the mechanic work shop it's worse. Of course, not everyone is that way, some of them with amicable appearance will get rid of you or will make you wait for nothing. (after two hours someone else will come and ask you: How can I help you?)
If you buy from them, certainly, they will abide responsability at all cost and will blame others, the vehicle, the Kia factory or yourself if possible but not them. In Fredy Kia is all about your money, NOT YOU. It's sale representatives are trained to push or pull you down to sign, after this maybe you are not welcome anymore. (...okay, okay, maybe only once.)
Fredy Kia it's a growing business cause its unscrupulous employees share the "nothing personal, just business" philosophy. Don't take me wrong, don't scratch Kia motors from your list, just the scammers. Surprisely, I found out some of them are "temporary" moved to other place to eliminate conflicts that compromise the dealership (or someone else of them.)
Definitely, I vote that the next american horror story season should be film at Fredy Kia's dealership scenario. Also, I bet that those people abducted by aliens and once could scaped and returned their homes feeling theirselves all unworthy and lifeless (I'm talking about those from "the four kind movie") will prefer be abducted by those or even worse aliens than have to deal with Fredy Kia people again.
Yes, I bought a brand new but defective car which had problems based on "shipping and handling" issues of different types, (mechanical/electrical and car body parts too) so as soon they find out what car it was it, (the one they did a "makeup job") all those people involved in sales and above them which I have talked to in that dealership showed up the true "two face" nature they are made of. Take my advice: Get well informed, research and be prepared before walk-in a dealership or meet anyone else. Team up with the mechanic you trust or at least the one you pay his services to look for you, not for others. The seller is NOT your friend. And the most important part: Don't go to Fredy Kia dealership. This place and a casino share the exact same thought: the house always wins. (...unless you feel lucky or wish to take a big risk at Fredy Kia.)
I have been calling for the past week to set up a service appointment and no one ever answers the phone. Im trying to uphold the warranty its just frustrating that you can't get through. They are not focused on customer satisfaction for sure.
Horrible if I could give them a -100 I would. I called about a $500 vehicle that I saw online at this location I spoke to a guy named Angel, and a guy named Ivan who both lied to me and told me the total cost of the vehicle was $500, I specifically asked. They said it was the end of the year and they had 10 cars for $500 that they were selling. They said they weren't wrecked, they weren't flooded, and they ran good; I also asked. I drove 1 hour to get there and when I showed up the next morning at 10 a.m. like I told them I would, neither of them were there. The sales manager told me they didn't have any cars for $500 it was $500 down. A total waste of time and IT company filled with lying sales people. Don't waste your time with this place there are plenty of other reputable car lots to choose from.
Robert Bryant (sales consultant) did an awesome job presenting us the Telluride models. A big star for his professionalism, politeness, and knowledge on his cars!
Efficiency doesn't seem important to these people. Got here at 8 for an oil change looks like it'll be another hour before they even get to us. For the sake of time don't get your oil changed here.
Johnny Johnson Jr. was very professional he was very helpful and polite I was going in thinking i wasnt coming out with nothing and he proved me wrong if anything I would refer friends and family to him
Went in to look at a Kia Optima Hybrid and was impressed by the Salesman Michael Adamo for his great customer service and for his time in finding the perfect Kia Optima Hybrid for me.
Usually salespeople are very pushy and don't seem to care about what you want and are unwilling to make a deal with you.
Michael Adamo however is the opposite being very communicative, friendly, and patience with finding you the perfect car. I highly recommend him if purchasing a vehicle from Fredy Kia
they literally don't care about people they take advantage and rip off anyone they can no life don't ever answer there phone do not every buy a car from them because once you do you will regret it for the rest of your life
They shows $13500 for 2020 Kia Soul add on everywhere but when you go there always they says Ohh no that s put wrongly Never go and don t waste your time.
Initially I wanted to purchase a Telluride from this dealership, only because they were the closest to my home as far as being a Kia dealership. Then, we figured out when the numbers were put in front of us for monthly payments that things didn't add up. We were actually being charged $5,000.00 over the sticker price for the Telluride and weren't told a thing about it until we did the darn math!!! Of course I told them....let those other people buy it if they want it that bad. Pssssh.
I did purchase a Sorento from this dealership. It was my first Kia. The transaction took many hours and in the end there was things added to my contract that I was never even asked if I wanted them. Then, we were offered a "free cruise" for making a vehicle purchase. It took months to finally get the cruise info and then when we did receive it, it turned out you have to leave out from Florida (not Texas) to even be able to use the cruise. What a rip off.
I swear on my life I will never make another purchase from this dealership. I am so unimpressed at how they have to play gave to make a commission. Our sales person quit a week later (says a lot). I hope the owner of the dealership reads these reviews. A company cannot survive without integrity.
Been in the market for a new car, and have done my research as well as shop around. Truth be told, the whole car buying experience gives me anxiety and I cannot stand going to a place and feeling pressured. Abe is great, and extremely personable. Not your typical car salesman. He asks the right questions and is upfront and not at all did I feel pressured or rushed. Felt like I had met him before and I was working with a friend. They have a huge selection, and it changes quite rapidly. I was impressed. Knowledgable and courteous staff. GO BUY A CAR FROM THESE GUYS, I promise you will be impressed as well.
i bought my car in march and everything went fine. however, my mom decided she wanted one as well so we came to buy her one and it has been the most excruciating, long, awful experience. so many of the employees are unprofessional and it s taken over 3 hours and she hasn t even gone into the financing office yet. this is complete bs and i will never come back to this place.
Went to buy a car and the new sales guy made a mistake and put 5,000 miles as opposed to 50,000 and the manager was super mad and said oh well guess we have to honor it and threw the paper on the table and left.
We bough a brand new Kia Sedona at the Demondrod Kia but its soooooo far from our house.
The DVD player stopped working so once again I called Freddy and they almost told me to go back to where I bought it . Made an appointment and when I showed up the ONLY mechanic who can work on it had called in and no one had the decency to call me and let me know. I had taken the whole day off because they warned me it would take a long time.
Called today again to see if the magical mechanic was in and then service manager said we dont have anyone to work on it and we dont have loaner so you would have to figure it out.
The service manager from the first appointment said oh well he called in what do you want me to do? Just schedule another appointment and if you have to leave the car you have to figure it out too because we have no loaners.
0 customer service and they dont CARE about customer satisfaction.
Great service! I was helped by Pedro and he worked late to get me into a car that day. If there is anything wrong with the car upon purchase he would go beyond to fix it, also worked with my financial situation to get me the lowest insurance, car payments and in a new car too! Very pleased!!
Mr. ED who call his self a service manager is the worst manager to deal with . He argues with the customer and has no customer service training what so ever. He feels like not fixing your car, he want fix it . I told him that the service department changed my headlight and now my head bumper is not completely fixed right , he argued with me that my car was hit and he wasn't going to fix it. Remind you he argued with me in front of other customers along with his co workers. Worst experience this early in the morning. I will never deal with this kind of service again. Ed you don't need to be a Manager.
Honestly, I didnt expect this much quality. But earlier this week I purchased a car with my nephew. And the service was exceptional! Aaron Mcgilbra, had some of the best consumer service I've seen in a while. I left that building feeling happy. Never thought to leave a review. Until Shalia, suggested it. I'm very impressed with this place.
Being a single female choosing the right Dealership is as important as Customer Service, I work for a Airline that is Big on Customer Service, so when I arrived at Fredy Kia, the Customer service was outstanding and very professional. I did buy my new car from Fredy Kia and I am looking forward to doing future business there. By the way I have tolded my co-workers all about Fredy Kia, and a great deal I got
Looked at purchasing a Kia Niro here. They hit my credit 5 times! Also their online price showing $5,000 off is incorrect. When they get you in the dealership they add on $4,000 on dealer add ons that they force you to purchase if you buy the vehicle at the internet price. I ve wasted so much time here and my credit has taken a hit. DO NOT GO HERE!
Sales representative was John Williams. This man was rued and extremely unprofessional. This is not a place I would ever consider purchasing a car. I will be reporting his behavior to corporate.
Just got my new Kia Rio 2019 2 weeks ago and loooove it!!!my payments are pretty high but I m satisfied to the extreme..my sales person was outstanding as well as the financial department we made good friends..can t wait to trade and get something else soon. Thanks so much Mr Robert!!!
I took my vehicle to the Service Center on September 27, and the Service Manager refused to repair my vehicle which is still under warranty. He was very rude and there was a shouting match in front of other customers in the Building. He was very unprofessional and refused to use the warranty and wanted to charge me $275 for the repair. If I could give a negative star I would. I will advice customers to please use a different service Center or for that matter any other Kia Dealer. I am a wounded warrior Retiree of 30 years in the Military and am 100 percent disabled combat Veteran. I have never been treated so negatively by anyone. This Service Department is the worst ever.
Not a fan of buying a car. Fredy Kia was great. Nile was a great salesman and financial staff was great! Treated my husband with great respect and gave him a discount for his military service. Walked out that day with a Kia soul.
Shadiest scammers at ANY car dealership I've ever been to work here. They will sell you a lemon with utmost rudeness and lead you into circles with fake payment plans that are designed to rob you , harassing you until they are able to scam you. They try their hardest to use the lowest of the low strategies ie . emotional manipulation to sell you garbage. STAY FAR AWAY and tell your friends to NEVER come here. Their yelp rating is 1 STAR for crying out loud. The 3 they have on here is most likely inflated by the rats they have working there.
Thank you to Sam Smith for helping me get into a Kia Soul. My credit is bad and i was able to get a BRAND NEW Soul with a low down payment and low payments i can afford. I recommend you go see SAM SMITH at Fredy Kia!
The sales is a joke. I worked there for about 4months. I loved it till they hold you hostage. Long hours and sucky pay. The service department is awesome. Mike and Ed run thay place epicly. I believed in kia so much I bought a kia soul + 2018. I love how they take care of my car. They are quick and fast.
Horrible customer service. They will lie to you and act like they did nothing wrong. False advertising do not believe everything they tell you until you have it on paper. They will increase the price on you telling you have to have their insurance because that's the only way they were able to get it financed. Make sure that you are financed cause they will say you are and then call you 2 weeks later to come back in sign again stating they got you lower payments when in all actuality you were not even financed from the beginning.
Thank you fredy Kia and Thank you Claudio for meeting all my wants and needs. Loving my new 2017 Kia shortage. I would recommend any of my friends do to Claudio. Once again thank you !!
Frank Acevedo s let s just say great customer service .Ask for Frank he won t steer you wrong looks out for your best interest Honest.Best financing guy Gerson ever .
