I have had 2 vehicles in the past from freddy kia. One from the pre own lot and one from the "new" lot. I was bringing in a friend because i love my car experience unfortunately they were not able to get Her a car. Just thought i share my experience. We are now at another dealership...

I was going to give them a 5 star rating but I keep getting the run around about fixing my car. Gave the sales man Daniel a list if issues that needed fix. 3 weeks later nothing has been fixed. Not answering email, text message, called to speak with GM. Left on hold 15 mins. Chip in windshield was to be replacing entire windshield , now just filling chip in. Needs an alignment, trunk hatch will not open with remote. Was told nothing but the chip was approved for repairs. Save time, do not sign contract until all repairs are written in. Or just go to a dealership that honor their word.

In reference to Collision Center - be carful, some shade business. Do not trust the tow truck drivers that take you here. Got hit by there tow truck driver and was told to come here to get a new bumper. Spoke to Johnny and just got the run around. Now he doesn't even return my calls. There all in it. Shady people.

Come to find out the owner of the tow truck biz is Johnny, and he runs the collision center at Freddy Kia, shaddy. His insurance company is worst some out of state company called North American Risk ins. neither of them are willing to return calls.

Speed of service with appointment was great, but my service rep didn't respond after several attemps (I was going to make a purchase for add-ons to my employers vehicle). The only reason I will return to this Kia location is for his routine maintenance.

was told that i was pre-approved based on my online credit app and had two options. i get there and this mark guy who i had been talking to basically lied to get me to drive 31 miles to.their location. 4 1/2 hours later i walked out with no car because they lied about everything. what is sad is my sells rep said they do that to get people down there. that the car deals online are if you are giving them a trade in plus 1000... why say you have a 498 down payment if that is a lie... why lie to people to get them to your store. you wasted my time plus so much more

Mr. Robert Bryant was the perfect sales person, although I didn't get anything today because I received a call and had to leave, I ran into some complications, but Mr. Bryant is good at what he does, he was able to get me a few promising loans, so when I go back the deal will be done....I'm very appreciative, I've been to 7 other dealerships before Fredy, but Mr. Bryant and Fredy Kia was the only one able and willing to help me

My daughter got a nail in her tire while we were in Houston. We had it towed there bc it was only 2 months old. Service sept told us they couldn t fix it. He told her to take it to a tire shop and they could fix it. We went to bbt tires and they said a patch or plug wouldn t hold and go get another opinion at firestone. Firestone said the same thing and that if she pulled out of the parking lot she could have a blow out. She had explained to everyone we dealt with that she lived 5 hours away. Fredy Kia you are lucky she didn t attempt to go home and have a blow out. For your safety PLEASE STAY from FREDY KIA

Must Read! I worked in the car business for years when I was younger. This dealership is why there are horror stories. I never, nor have I ever seen any dealership actually lie to a customer. I know some have tried to fudge a number here and there, but this dealership LIES. We were working a deal and I kept telling my wife the numbers didn't work out in my head. I asked what they were selling the vehicle for and I was told the price was full sticker of $33,500. I told them I wasn't paying full sticker and to discount it about $1,500. They came back with a cheaper monthly payment. I assumed that was due to the discount, but the numbers still were not adding up. I told her we would wait until we got into finance. Once there they showed the sale price of $37,000 and some change. Way higher than sticker price of $33,500. I asked about it and even after they were caught they still lied to my face again and told me that at their dealership they add tax and everything else into the sale price and do not itemize those cost so it was right. I told them I was not stupid and knew that sales tax on vehicles was 6.25% in Texas which was just under $2,100. So, again they were way high. It was only then that he ran out of lies so the manager finally told me that we were buying a hot vehicle so they don't sell them for less than $5,000 over sticker, but had worked hard to get it down for me to a little over $3,000 over sticker. They lied to me several times in an effort to conceal what they were actually trying to do. They flat out lied. This is unacceptable. I wonder how many people they have done this too and got away with it. I cant believe they are still in business other than relying on selling to people who do not know better.

Jurmaine was a remarkable sales rep. But, overall he was a genuine person that cares for you as an individual not a sale. He was upfront, never pushy. He listened to my needs and requests then delivered just that in a timely manner. I saved thousands. I'm truly happy with my purchase and the smooth process. I would like to do a review for the experience I had with the Kia dealership there at 45 and almeda genoa rd...David and everyone was very understanding and most of all respectable... David deserves a 100 percent rating...Everyone in that dealership was awasome...from when David walked up to us when we first arrived at the dealership..he walked up to us and I felt like i knew him for years..made us feel confortable when we were talking about making a deal for my purchase...I. Rate everyone there a 100...David deserses a raise..he he..just saying... I will sure refer my friends to KIA...and tell them to look for David...I never thought I would have bought a KIA...but now Im sure love my new purchase.

Don't waste your money on this location, Jonathan sold me a car that appeared to be fine, but had a worn out transmission and when I brought this to his attention he had the nerve to blame it on hurricane Harvey when I told him our area didn't even flood. Jonathan then tried to charge me over 2000 dollars for another transmission (used transmission) and told me that if I don't make my cart payment + pay the 2000 for the transmission then no other car plays will ever sale to me and that they will make sure there is a black line on my credit so no one would ever sale me a car, so I dropped the car off to him and didn't make the payment. I refuse to pay for a vehicle they knew was messed up in the first place. The car looked nice and drived very good until I got home it started messing up!

The service department here is awful. Every time I come here it s always a big deal. Just to get an oil change takes an unreasonable amount of time. The technicians have stolen money out of my car while getting it serviced. Additionally, they always seem to change the rules about my service package. One time I don t have to pay for anything, and the next time they say I have to purchase something to get my oil changed without charge. I have been here about 5 times. I can t wait to get a new car so I don t have to come back to Fredy KIA service department.

Wasted my time! I came in to buy a 2016 Kia rio listed for $9999 cash from a brochure sent by fredy Kia! It said expires 6/3/16. Joshua had us drive a different vehicle then what was advertised. Shame on you guys for wasting my time and lying. Deceptive advertising is illegal. If you are gonna advertise a deal hold actually have it. Nowhere on the ad did it say limited or any exceptions. Ohhh then it turns out there is no car for $9999...... Sam screwed us too!!

Horrible rip-off! Rear driver side door wasn't opening from the inside or outside. I made an appt. at 10:30 for them to diagnose & fix. After 2 hrs they still had not looked at my vehicle. When speaking to someone, they told me i should've made an appointment. I told them, I did make one!! 5 hours, they charged me $120 to "diagnose" my vehicle. Basically, they told me they can't get in the door and could only GUESS what was wrong. They quoted me $2100 to fix without even knowing what was wrong!! I brought my vehicle to a local shop that fixed the problem for $225 (including parts & labor). Don't waste your time with these guys, they're not keen on customer service or keeping customers. I won't be buying another KIA ever again!!!!

Very poor customer service. Their sales men are liars except couple of them. They will yell you any lie just so you can buy their car. If you have any issues with a car you purchases you will be on your own.

I purchased a used car on 5/12 and exactly a month later I am still going back and forth with them. The screen was cracked and they promised to fix it and told me that the camera would work after that. On 6/9 I finally received a call that the screen was fixed. When I showed up the camera was not working. Was told again they would fix it and I left it there. Later that afternoon I received a call saying my vehicle was not equipped with a camera even though I was told it was. I was not happy and I told them that I just wanted my money back and leave the car, I put over 5k down so it wasn't any small amount. Now that the sales manager finally talked to me and told me that his manager and himself were trying to get it installed but because I called the front to find out the status of my car and got them involved they will not be able to do it. Obviously they shouldn't have promised something that shouldn't have been done but they are trying to fix their wrong and the main managers of the dealership are upset that they did that and punishing the customer in the middle of all this. This is the worst experience ever when it comes to purchasing a car. Please do your research more before going to this dealership so you don't have to go through this ordeal. They obviously don't care about doing what is right for the customer.

I bought a new Kia on 10/26/17. Signed all the papers and brought in requested documents the next day. They needed a pay stub, I got them one. I drove my new car home. They kept my trade. They then wanted tax returns, I could not get them online. I drove about 160 miles trying to get them. 5 days later, they inform me the deal didn't go through. I returned the car. They had already put my trade for sale, destroyed my plates and had a lady in line to buy my old car. I asked for my plates and no one knew where they were. They put a paper tag on my car so it would be legal to drive. The manager states he's going to get me in a used car. If I wanted a good, used car, I wouldn't have been shopping for a new one! My salesperson said my car had 191 miles on it... It had almost 4000! I'm less than impressed with them.

Went to Fredy Kia yesterday after a bad experience at another Kia dealer. Was greeted and told the salesman Eli what we wanted and what we were wanting to do. He was very patient with me and answered all of my questions (I asked alot of them). We ended up getting the nicer upgraded car for my fiance. Well I decide to get a car to! Mike in finance got my fiance a great rate and worked his magic and got me one also ( my credit is not so great). Overall great experience would definitely buy from them again!!!!!

Inquired about a car. Informed the dealership we'd like to test drive it and were coming in from out of town (1 1/2 hr drive). Sent a message when we were on the way just yo make sure the var was available.The salesperson we were corresponding with told us it was ready to go. When we arrived another person took over and told us to deal with him. We told him what car we were there for. He gave us keys and we inspected the car. It was dirty inside, food or drink spills on console and seats and a bag of food and drink bottles tied up in back seat like someone was living in it. Turned on car, had 12 miles of gas. I informed the sales person we didn't have enough gas for a test drive he said that was enough to go Do a turnaround on the feeder road. The have to drive and put gas in it so that we could give it a proper test drive. He did not seem to care and most dealerships would at least have a 1/2 a tank. Customers should not be having to put in money to test drive And the car should be at least decently cleaned. There was no attention to detail no motivation to Accommodate the customer. The attitude was oh well take it or leave it. Scratches all over the car and on the tinted driver's window. Broken compartment in the car all 4 rims on the wheels were trashed and the heated and cooled seating did not work.
We brought it to his attention and he did not seem to care or want to try and work with us on an already overpriced car. After attempting to call the dealership a few times the next day we gave up. I am so glad we did because we found a much better car that was clean for a good test drive and that dealership was top notch.

Don't waste your time here. ANY and EVERY time I take my car for a maintenance they find just a few more things to add to my bill. I don't even mind putting money in my car but the customer service is ridiculous. Everyone looks angry and no one is trying to assist you. You have to literally say "hey can someone check me in or help me". My mistake was not buying a kia car, it was buying a Kia car with Fredy Kia. Down the 45 Gay Family Kia has an excellent customer service. Worth the drive. FYI, I've unfortunately been going to Fredy Kia for 3 years. Take my advice and run.
