The hotel and property is beautiful and very maintained. The service and attention of the staff is very good. The restaurants have really good food, the Bourbon Steakhouse is off the chart good with an excellent wine selection. The bar outside is very cool with fire and water features. The rooms are nice size and updated. They have a free shuttle to 2 golf courses, Grayhawk and TPC Scottsdale. I highly recommend this place.

I was upgraded to the Casitas, which were fantastic. We tried all of the restaurants and the food was amazing at all of them. Probably our least favorite was Bourbon Steak due to the very high price and good, but not great service (given the cost). We also took advantage of the spa. Probably the nicest spa facility we have ever experienced. We will be back.

The princess always has events going on for every holiday!

Not a lot of stuff to do but at least it s something, especially cause of covid right now.

Glad they had like 6 activities to do for pumpkin nights. There was a maze, a swing ride, slides, and 2 rides that go in a circle, lantern of hope (you write your hopes and dreams), also they had s mores to cook over a fire!

Also there was a section were you can take pictures. They had it staged with different backgrounds to pose at. My favorite part.

Also the swing ride made it feel like I was at the fair.

Also they had fire works!

For Christmas they have a train ride and tubing and a Ferris wheel! That is fun too! Also s mores and ice skating.

They have a Groupon for some events. Also you pay per car. Which is an awesome deal that includes parking!

Can't say enough about this fabulous resort. It has EVERYTHING and EVERYTHING is exceptional. Our family of 8 come every year when visiting the Mayo clinic. The kids are safe traveling the grounds and all of us love to ROLLERBLADE the extensive paved "streets" of the resort.

Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly by the front desk rooms manager Cory Johnson. He set the mood for an incredible holiday weekend stay at this beautiful property. The whole experience for Christmas especially is one of a kind--perfect for a friends getaway or a family vacation. There are amenities for everyone from the S'moresland holiday treat to the Plaza Bar and delicious restaurants on property. However, since we felt so welcomed by Mr. Johnson at the beginning of our stay, we clung to him with a deep appreciation for making this vacation feel like a home away from home. We were lucky enough to have him working the duration or our stay and he made sure that every request we had was taken care of as soon as possible. He quickly became more of a close friend to us than anything else, and we almost wish we could take him home with us! The Fairmont company is beyond lucky to have such an attentive, fun, and kind manager on staff. Make sure you ask for Cory at the front desk when visiting this Fairmont location!

After a little confusion about how to enter the resort's spa ( it's through the main entrance, not where Google maps routes you), my friends and I had a great spa day that started out with areial yoga and finished with amazing massages!

Really enjoyed the experience here. Spacious rooms coupled with multiple pools, bars, and entertainment options including an amazing golf course make this property a destination, not a hotel.

My husband and I come to Scottsdale a few times a year from the Midwest. We've stayed all over the world and were less than impressed with this resort for being a 5 diamond. 1. I ordered room service that never came. 2. The staff was subpar. I was ordering breakfast in the Ironwood one morning and a server came to the register to complain about another guest right in front of me which was tacky. I asked for some ice water and they just brought me a bottled water. 3. For a 5 diamond restaurant, the food didn't impress me for the price. I'm a vegetarian and we ended up leaving the hotel for every meal as I didn't want just a salad every night. In addition, just because you charge a lot for something doesn't mean the quality matches. We're ok with paying $$$$ for a hotel but it's amenities, service and food must match. 4. The front desk staff didn't do a good job explaining everything. We felt kind of lost in the beginning.

Honestly, we've stayed at other resorts in Scottsdale for a fraction of the cost and had better quality. I don't think we'll be back.

The most amazing service and room I have ever stayed in. The grounds are beautiful. Pools are enormous, and numerous! Every interaction I had with staff was excellent. Came for a company regional meeting and was extremely impressed with their ability to accommodate such a large group with many needs- requiring expert coordination. Everything was flawless. Definitely would consider coming back to Phoenix just to stay here again!

We checked in and we're given zero introduction to the hotel even though we stated it was our first time staying there. We were handed our keys and sent on our way without any direction to our room, information on pools or restaurants or amenities. If it wasn't for our friends who were staying there and had checked in the day before we would have no idea that golf carts were available to take us around, where the pools were and which ones were good for kids, that we could've upgraded to the gold lounge and what those amenities included, etc. we parked in the wrong parking lot and hauled all of our luggage and three kids across the property to our room. We immediately hit the pools which we were very impressed with! Biggest downfall of the whole trip was that there was a big puddle of water at the bottom of the steps up to the waterslide which our daughter slipped on splitting open her knee and cracking her head on the steps almost instantly giving her a blackeye and a big golf ball sized bruise above her eye. Even though the staff witnesses it no one thought to call emt even with the blood and screaming that ensued. After I requested an emt they called one over and he was very sweet and helpful, Fixing her up to the best of his ability and even sending milk and cookies once we got back to the room which was a nice gesture. Pools and slides and grounds were beautiful but unfortunately didn't have the greatest experience.

Honestly, this was exactly what we needed during these rough times where AZ is basically banned from all of the other states. Our room was gorgeous with an amazing view. Everyone was so kind! We did a couples massage and they were so attentive, very clean, and their COVID policies are in place and they have no issues enforcing it. I'm already planning a trip back!

$55 entry for six people in one car for the Christmas event, had a great time and took family pictures by the Christmas tree. Lights and rides are a plus but hot chocolate and cookies were as expensive for us as entry! Pass and get dinner at the Mexican restaurant, it was great.

The Fairmont Princess is on par with the Westin close by, but not quite the level of the 4 Seasons. Its exspanive layout creates quite a maze to navigate. Rooms are very nice and have large bathrooms with separate tub and shower and double vanity. Rooms are 5 star! Pools are 5 star as well. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Great size rooms for a family of 5. The water slide pools were a blast for the family include the fireworks and glow party.

The food at poolside grill was overpriced as a simple hamburger was $19.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and well laid out. Worth the visit and price to stay...

Rooms are nice but very worn. Grounds are beautiful. The low rating is because they nickle and dime you to death. After you pay for the expensive room there is a housekeeping fee plus a porterage fee (even though they never touched my bag or even offered to carry it) plus a self parking fee. Also I asked for a 1o'clock check out instead of 11 because I was giving a presentation at a conference at the hotel I was told no and no exceptions.

When I checked in the hotel, I was truly excited to view and see the property, but was not greeted with such a friendly welcome at the front desk. The clerk was not helpful at giving directions to my room, which is clearly needed with such a large property.

Once I checked in my room, I was greeted with a family of bees swarming all over the balcony. That was so disappointing, because I wasn't able to enjoy the fresh air or view of the pool. Thankfully, I was moved to another room, but the view was of the parking lot and much smaller room. So I went from a gorgeous suite to a upgraded king. Talk about Bad luck!

After finally settling in, I had a knock at the door from guest servicesm bringing me a shoe horn I didn't order. Ten minutes later, another staffer knocked on my door with a iron and hair dryer I didn't request either. By this time I was so annoyed and tired of being disrupted. The first three hours on property was so disturbing and unpleasant, I was ready to leave. It was so disappointing to go through so much when the hotel property is beautiful. It just kills the overall experience.

Now, here's the good part! The spa and customer service in the gym was amazing. I was able to make it over and enjoy a nice peaceful massage after a rough check-in.

Hopefully, my next site visit will not be the same this summer. I'm a little worried to say the least!

Very pretty hotel with a great pool area. But the whole accommodation part is a scam. When you pull up to the front of the hotel the bell boys with cowboy hats welcome you, and take your car without informing you of the option to self park, or any mention of the pricing or what's going on.
After asking where self park is they tell you can go through one gate but the person at the gate tells you you have to go around to another side and enter with your key. They need to get their story straight.

The rooms don't have fridges or microwaves, which is honestly very frustrating because I'd rather have that and an ugly room.

Lastly, we tried to have a guest come over for a couple hours: didn't want to valet because it was expensive, couldn't self park because he needed a key, no where for guests to go. So I had to go all the way up to the lobby (which is far from our room) to go get him in. I had to get in his car so we could drive all the way around to the other side of the property so he could get in with my room key.

The hike from the self park to our room is a good 10 minutes.

I don't recommend this hotel if you like to be self sufficient.

First time at this resort and it is way overcrowded (especially with covid). Pool goers everywhere. Staff was vague and not very helpful. Took us forever to find parking and after returning to the valet to ask for guidance it was again, vague. Parking was extremely far from our room. Pool was super crowded and the grounds are noisy overrun with ppl. The rooms are old. Bathroom door as a HUGE gap where u feel like roommate can hear and smell your business. The rooms/ resort are way overpriced for the service and rooms u get. This was for our Anniversary weekend and we mentioned that at booking. We have stayed at The Phoenician for our Anniversary in the past and they have chilled champagne and a complimentary movie waiting for us as an Anniversary treat when we stay. The Princess didn t go out of their way to wish us a Happy Anniversary or acknowledge with any complementary amenities. The Phonecianwas closed due to covid ,so we couldn t book there. I was really looking forward to staying at the Princess. This will be the last time we stay here. The Phoenician is a far superior hotel. Very disappointed :/

I've stayed there twice during the xmas season, first time the bath tub was dirty and as it was filling up there was some kind of white mucus floating in it, I let the front desk know about it and all they said was sorry. Second time was this past December we arrived past the check in time and our room wasn't ready we had to wait about an hour or so for it. when we checked out as I got home I realized my daughter left her jacket in the room I called and let them k now about it but they said that it wasnt there, and I know for a fact that it was there on top of the bed, they didn't seem to care or offered to do anything about it I'm definitely not coming back it's always something and they never make it right.

It's a really nice place and being this was my first visit, it was nice to see employees everywhere to figure out where you are going. I was there for a Christmas party so I really didn't get to look around, but what I seen was really classy. I would like to go back in the daytime so I could do some more exploring.

The service was incredible as were the rooms. The only thing that could have been better was if the rooms had a mini fridge that was empty rather than a mini bar that was pre-stocked so we could keep our own things in it.

Our room was lovely, and we had our 2 little dogs which were not only allowed, but were each given a doggy bed, a food and water dish, and a chew toy for both to keep. The room service was delivered on time but for the price the quality of the food was waaaaaaaaaay under par, so would not recommend the room service. The events of their Xmas festivities were wonderful.

Grounds are beautiful and manicured, service everywhere is impeccable per the usual Fairmont standards. Only complaint is that some rooms (I stayed in the "Casitas" in the far corner of the property) are clearly tired and showing their age. However, others staying at the same conference that week reported a different experience so clearly rooms vary. I recommend asking if your assigned room has been updated recently.

The princess had a great summer program, perfect for a family staycation. The kids enjoyed the pools and kids club and I enjoyed the spa. One of the best spas as it is huge with so much to do in addition to getting a treatment. The staff was outstanding! The only issue I had was that there was a slight odor in the room. I didn't say anything because we just wanted to get to the pool but I'm sure they would have done something.

My first time visiting Phoenix/Scottsdale & this resort is where I spent my weekend. Even through the pandemic & what the world is going through, this was the perfect get away for us. The minute we arrived, great customer service was none stop.

Valet was on time, respectful & didn t miss a beat. As soon as we walked in, our keys were ready due to a respectable regular. I would like to recognize Mrs.Tammy, she offered assistance & made sure we were taken care of. Mrs. Tammy represents Fairmont & the resort exactly the type of representation that you need on your team. Along with that, every person at the front desk assistance with no problem. Great team there.

I will also recognize Jamie & Alex at the Spa roof top pool! A M A Z I N G! The best customer service I ve ever received. We were here to relax & celebrate my best friends birthday, Jamie & Alex met our expectations beyond words. They both represented Fairmont very well. Made us feel welcome, comfortable, along with assisting us & the new friends we made along the experience! We super enjoyed our last day!

We are leaving this resort very happy customers. The resort is beautiful, a lot to see & enjoy. We felt welcome by everyone & look forward to coming back! Thank you to everyone who helped us here at Fairmont Scottsdale Resort.

We booked a long weekend stay here. We were greeted by Kristy to check in and she was very friendly and really helpful with all the local spots to check out while there including a dine in theater that was a total success. Taylor had some great information for a breakfast spot that wasn't on there local list that was delicious. Just before checking out Desiree was able to help us with setting up a possible message but we ran out of time. Since it was our anniversary all of them made our stay extra special. All places we went to during our stay was less then 15mins away and so centralized for the Scottsdale area. Great, clean and comfortable rooms as well!
