We went during Christmas at the Princess & it was great. Ferris wheel, carousel, ice slides, Smores, & train ride around the resort to see all the lights. Loved it. Took 12yr, 8yr, 7yr, and 3yr old kids

Attended the Christmas at the Princess. $55 per car and doesn't include admission to certain activities. I would skip this event in the future.

Easily one of the best places in Scottsdale. The 4th of July. The. Christmas events. The constant outside the box thinking for a resort is just amazing. Call and ask for Bryan B or Amanda W to get your group taken care of!

You won t regret it for business or pleasure!

Overall, it is understandable why the Fairmont Princess has a 4 diamond rating, but one has to wonder if they are resting on their laurels.

The good: The staff is wonderful and very attentive to their guests, and the place itself is beautiful.

The bad: The A/C in our room wasn't as effective as we'd like - the room wasn't cold enough for us to sleep comfortably. There was also a cobweb in the room, over the TV, and by the look of it, it had been there a while.

The devil's in the details, and unfortunately, these little details are where the Fairmont Princess stumbled.

There is room for improvement.... About 750 rooms to be exact.

Beautiful property inside and outside. Location near multiple shopping and restaurant venues. Service impeccable.

Pq is good and cheap and it is clean and has several places to see

Nice place, relaxing atmosphere. Good place to chill out.

Pros- Great staff, always nearby to answer a question with a friendly smile.
Cons- Hard to find your way around. Guests would really benefit from a good app with GPS mapping. I tried your app but it is not well thought out and frustrating to use.

If you have kids. Absolutely worth it during Christmas time.

Good rooms, great spa, bit expensive for the upgraded rooms but the service and perks are worth it. The tequila selection at Hacienda is fantastic if you're into that sort of thing.

Have been there before for a staycation and loved it. This time went for a business meeting at the Ironwood Grill food was fantastic and service was excellent. Definitely recommend.

My co worker and I were assigned to work a fire in the local area, and the Fairmont Princess really stepped up to give us a comfortable place to stay. It can be difficult to find a government rate in expensive areas like Scottsdale, but Tammy in reservations took care of us with a competitive rate and made us feel welcomed and appreciated after long days on the fire line. Brittanie at the front desk checked us in quickly with a friendly smile and even gave us some toiletries to clean ourselves up. All of the staff in valet chipped in to help us park our vehicle in a safe place where we could roll out to the fire early in the morning without any trouble.

The stay was phenomenal and our only wish was that we had more time to spend enjoying the clean rooms and relaxing grounds. A+ from top to bottom with a special thank you to Tammy, Brittanie, and the on duty valet staff. Their management should be proud of their employees and should be commended for their support of the federal and local fire community.

My family went for Christmas at the Princess. It was so beautiful, felt like you were out of Scottsdale and in a Christmas land. It was very pricey though. They have firepits in s'moresland, but the s'mores kits were $27. We thought they were included in admission. Next year we will bring our own.

Beautiful resort and awesome service. I was in town for a work conference and the staff really took care of us. Also, the food was delicious!!!

Place is great as alway. The pool is amazing and the view is.....

Fairmont princess one of the best resorts I know the people there are warm and friendly and go out their way to make sure that your stay there is memorable I recommend the Fairmont to friends and family to anyone that wants a genuine loving caring fun vacation

Got in at midnight, full beds instead of queens...used dirty towels in the bathroom...dried food on the desk. The front desk didn't seem, surprised. The grounds were lovely and the pools amazing but even when they offered an upgrade I checked out in the morning. When they handed me the bill I was shocked they were charging me full price...when I expressed my surprise they gave me a 20% discount...not a 5 diamond resort in cleanliness or customer service.

Christmas at the princess was beautiful! Children loved it!

So much fun! The train takes you around the property to see Christmas lights. You can rent ice skate. There was an area that had rides, like a smaller Farris wheel, merry go round, and a polar slide. The s'mores kits are fun too! You can also get festive beverages, including some with alcohol and some kid friendly. The staff were all so friendly. It's a great experience for an evening of fun.

The food n the drinks Are beyond overpriced. I mean it's absolutely ridiculous. However the hotel and the grounds are incredible incredible incredible! I cannot believe how amazing this hotel is!

My wife, family and I stayed here for 2 nights! It was fantastic. The dog in the lobby was adorable. The beds were cozy, and the rooms were nice. The swimming pools were a good size as well. Lots of people and fun! Overall we had an amazing time! Would love to stay here again!

Just stopped by to pick up family. They have stayed at this property annually for the past 15 years and really enjoy the comfort and care it provides.

Absolutely gorgeous. Staff was very friendly. I loved everything except the room being too hot and the AC not working.

My parents took me and it's amazing and it's expensive for a good reason, a high budget to fun and alot of free things and events with lots of pools bless Fairmont and I hope for it to have amazing success in the future!

I didn't stay at the hotel but was there for dinner at La Hacienda & for Xmas lights. Food was ok, lights were great but when we were leaving the valet took over 30 mins to bring me my car. I had to speak to 3 different people & got 3 different responses. After 20 mins they brought the wrong vehicle up then took another 15 mins for mine. $85 for valet for what? Should be $5 the way they work.

Great event. Professiinal staff! Food was well prepared and presented. Catered to your every need.

Beatifull ambience on christmas, many lights and delicious meals.

Viewed the Christmas lights, the train and other rides were worth it.

The Fairmont is a huge well maintained property with lots to do...pools, shopping, gym, dining, bars, fabulous spa, etc. Hiking trails are close by for all ability levels. Outdoor sitting areas with fireplaces and heats lamps for the cool evenings. Service is excellent.

They soured everyone at the conference by clamping the room Wi-Fi to barely half a Meg unless you paid dozens of dollars for a "business connection". Miserable Wi-Fi in a several hundred dollar room. It's a nice place but a gouge

Beautiful resort with spacious rooms, beautiful grounds, comfortable beds, and friendly staff. This may seem petty to remove one star for this reason but the WiFi is terrible. I measured it at 0.6 mbps (to put this in perspective, the test I just did at home is over 500 times faster and I just have basic internet). In my world WiFi keeps me connected with work (I was on business and this was insufficient for even email) and home (far too slow to video call, even Facebook loaded VERY slowly). In their defense I did not check if they had a paid version that was faster but my personal standard in today's world is that basic wifi speeds should be sufficient for email and maybe even a Skype call. So much to love about this resort, so I apologize for spending too much time on the one negative.

With the exception of the TPC leaf blowers running at full blow prior to 7:00 am, we love the facilities and service. Our son had an especially fun time fishing.
One suggestion for hotels in general is that if they want to double the room rate on the same room within a year of staying previously, at least add a few amenities for better value.

We loved our stay here. We didn't have a great stay at our previous hotel while we were staying in Scottsdale and we decided to switch over to the Fairmont. We wished we came to the Fairmont off the bat! The property is beautiful and the staff are incredible. Can't wait to return

I am absolutely THRILLED with this wonderful establishment! This resort certainly met my own personal "gold standard", to wit: They took really good care of my wife and children during their stay! I originally sent my wife here for some much deserved and much needed rest and relaxation for the weekend, but being the amazing wife and mother that she is, she asked us to join her on the second night,and I was absolutely floored with every aspect of this establishment. Every detail, down to the finest and simplest, is, simply put, well tended to by the wonderful staff. The food is en Epicurean journey, the rooms are cozy, clean and well appointed, and the staff are second to none. We were so impressed that we decided to upgrade to one of the breath-taking cssitas for a third night. This is one of the best investments I've ever made in my family!

This review is solely on the Christmas at the Fairmont NOT the actual resort rooms/amenities.

Cost: what a joke. $55 a car? If we didn t have people in town i wouldn t have accepted such an outrageous sum where you ll go inside and pay another $25 for s mores and ice skating.....

Lights: I think Glendale Glitters has more and its free to go....the main tree is huge with maybe 10 songs that are on repeat.

Activities: for kids it s worth the experience . What a cop out thing to say and that s not pessimism it s honesty.

Phenomenal grounds, friendly staff and amazing food! I would recommend an extended stay to any friend or family member!

I came for the Christmas event. It was a great experience and I loved it. 5 stars.

Excellent service level. Rooms were well-appointed, and we were able to request other items (e.g. bottle warmer for baby) without issue. The on-site restaurants were of excellent quality, and warmly welcomed us with our children! Pools were lovely. Grounds beautifully maintained. Will definitely return.

Great service and facilities for all ages. Minus 1 star as I Tried buying merchandise with cash and they weren't accepting cash which I'm not sure is even legal.

This resort is amazingly large with so many activities and amenities. There's really no need to leave the resort once you're here. The rooms are incredibly spacious and extremely clean. The service is outstanding!

We went there to attend a professional meeting and walking through it kind of feels like a shopping mall up front has a couple of restaurants in several high-end shops and when you get back to the rooms it has a typical Resort for you the swimming area look nice that we didn't go in there but their meeting rooms are spacious and well setup and they accommodate quite a few people

Beautiful property. Rooms are very well equipped. Staff is great. If you need anything, they will go out of their way to get it. My only complaint is that the self parking lots are not close enough to be convenient. Other than that, I would stay here again.

Fabulous property "tucked away" on the edge of north Scottsdale. I say tucked away because you will not see it from the street, Scottsdale road. There is a light and the street is named Princess. Turn there. Great hotel and facilities. Outside theme will have you going in and out a lot, but that's the fun of a resort in Arizona! Clean and new, this property is a conference and wedding favorite in the area.

Beautiful place. Pricey on food and drinks cocktail run 15.00+ due to Covid in plastic small cups. Beer German delicious 8.00+ but during Oct great Pumpkin Nights. Stores, Smores, Rides, family events. Fireworks. Make reservations it sells out

We went for the Christmas Festival and it was wonderful. And the staff also great and amazing. But when entering the room it was great but when entering the bathroom the left sink had water trap with hair in it. Then the tube also had hair. The toilet was clean. We were staying 1 night so we continued our plan for that night. I question the shower but honestly I didn't want to. This was my first time there. I was so excited to be there. I don't know if I want to try it again. I'm used to go to Aviara in Carlsbad exspectionaI. .I was disappointed for what I experienced. I didn't want to spoil my partner time so I didn't say anything. LIFE CONTINUES !!!!!

Nice resort but nothing say's in-hospitality like the several nickle-dime charges they have .."portage " "maid service" and they even stock the room with bottled water..$4 for a little one. Couldn't give a guest at a 5 star hotel a first free one.
Charges for mini bars, tipping maids are to be expected., but as a frequent traveler I really hate these bogus add on fees, especially in a luxury hotel. Fairmont tell your MBA's they aren't all that smart and that they should find more constructive ways to increase revenues.I wouldn't mind paying an extra $20 a day for true hospitality and transparent pricing.

This was absolutely amazing I've never seen anything more beautiful and the people that work at the Fairmont are absolutely amazing polite accommodating I'm just simply nice their company should be very proud of all of them the decorations were by far so incredible I've never seen anything like it anywhere

Rooms get a 2 star rating. The room unfortunately was very out dated. I was also disappointed that they don t allow adults to take small children down the slides. My three year old was devasted that her sister could go but she could not .

The perfect place to play hookie for the day. I usually go on weekdays so it isn't crowded. Take advantage of the amenities before and after your services. I always leave feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.

We had drinks and some food on the outside bar/patio. A little expensive for me ($8 for a beer) but I expected it for a fancy resort. The service was a little slow, I had to get up and find her to take our food order.

Very nice resort hotel with lots of amenities. The Casitas were nicely furnished and the bathroom was amazing. There are 5 pools, some family friendly and some adults only.
