This place was amazing it was so fun to go on different pools.
FedEx was great. Great service. Getting off the prperty was a real drag... Was not told all exits from parking lot would be blocked for half hour to let president' motorcade drive by. Should have let patrons at hotel know possible delay/situation.
Very friendly staff. Delicious food. Outstanding service. The white sand pool is petty. Nothing negative to say. Beautiful garden and pond.
Christmas at the Princess is fantastic! Fabulous lights, rides and fun.
It was fun, though there were long lines and many things were overpriced.
Had a great stay! The room was clean and comfortable and the food tastes great!
Great place. Great staff. Personally, I'm not accustomed to that lifestyle. So, it takes some getting used to. However, the staff is at your beckon call. Ya just have to call. If you want a shuttle to any place on the property, just give 'em a call & they're there. Stuff for younger kids to do. Spa for the over 18 crowd, not much for teenagers though. But give 'em time. They'll think of something.
So far room was not ready even though I am part of a huge conference and they are expecting us. I won't get into my room now until midnight. Then when I asked for a private place to rearrange my bags for meetings, I was sent to a far spot on the property for supposed changing rooms which in fact we're just restrooms. Had to drag my bags up and down steps. So far experience is not good.
Luxury, great service, and the overall ambiance is just wonderful! Amazing spot for a staycation or vacation! They also have holiday themed events that are great for you and the family!
Christmas at the Princess event is worth checking out.
Excellent hotel. Starting from the entrance when they welcome their guests.,
Beautiful & impecable rooms ,delicious restaurants, lots of activities, beautiful places to walk. The spa is like a dream itself.
I think it's one of the best t hotels I have ever been to.
Second time and for sure we will come back.
Lovely property with friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Beautiful grounds. Some of the friendliest staff as well. Visit many hotels. Truly a great experience.
This is a great hotel. Great service and staff. We love coming here for our weekend getaways. Go to hotel when in Scottsdale
Was making a delivery there. They are under construction renovating. Place looks beautiful and staff is very friendly and helpful
Amazing! Nothing more I can say or need to say. Worth every penny.
Christmas at the Princess is a great time. Go ice skating so much fun.
Friendly / Attentive customer service. Room service also did a great job on my room each day.
Large hotel with nice kids club and lots of pools and restaurants. Nice spa and gym.
I was here for the NAIOP conference - NICE facilities and meeting space.
If I can find a room I always stay when in Scottsdale.
Pros: Adult pool was vey relaxing, great pillows, great room service, most of the staff was on point. Cons: Slow service for food at the poolside restuarant, a cockroach in the bathroom
We were pleased with the care by your staff, and loved the lobby dogs. The room was as expected, and the Ironwood food was better than anticipated.
Good resort but the biggest single improvement is offering more self purchase fresh food items. Provisions doesn't have near enough for families with children that are hungry at off meal hours. With a 5 member family, we need milk, some yogurt sticks and fruit to feed kids. Sitting for 3 restaurant meals (which commonly have less fresh food - e.g. fries, burgers, etc.) is not what younger people want, at least for part of their meals. Paying over $800 for a Casita suite (including taxes, resort fee), i was pretty surprised we didn't have a small fridge in the room which is needed by families. A phone in the bathroom is no longer relevant. I know the business rationale to maximize spend but you might add $100 to a bill but lose another $5,000 visit by not offering what is desired.
Hope this helps - loved the setting and pools but probably wouldn't return (at least with all 3 kids) due to the above.
Phenomenal experience all around would give six stars if possible. Staff knows everything about what they offer with food and drinks. You must ask to speak with their tequila queen, she's incredibly well versed and she'll set you up with what you don't even know you want to drink.
Christmas at the Princess is back and better than ever!
Excellent venue for a conference. Lack of signage for the conference made navigation a bit difficult.
Service only so so right now. Serving food in boxes at Fairmont prices
The Fairmont princess hotel is a beautiful location for the Christmas time with lots of entertainment for the kids. The rooms are very nice and excellent experience for the most part at the hotel. Had some very unhelpful and rude customer service at the hotel breakfast area but otherwise a very enjoyable experience. then we had to remove four people from a steakhouse reservation and they decided to charge us over $400 for the potential meals that they thought they could have had even though the restaurant was at not even half the capacity. if you're looking to get ripped off at a place that looks pretty this is the perfect place to come.
This hotel was one of the nicest I've ever been to. The amenities are top notch, the grounds beautiful and the staff very accommodating.
Was here for a conference. This was a great place for hosting your conference or banquet.
For a five star hotel, you have to pay for ever little thing.
I had a mixed experience. Everything at the Scottsdale Princess was beautiful and the people really try to take great care of you. But they over promised and under delivered. When we first showed up they told us they had an app we could use to guide is around the property. After downloading the app all it did was load. My only thought was that there were too many people trying to use it and it couldn't handle the traffic. We have 2 small children who of course are up early in the morning so when we called to see what time the pools opened up we were thrilled to hear they were already open. They were open in the sense that our room keys opened the gate, but there was no one there when we got there so there was no one to tell other people's kids not to play on the water slide that hadn't been turned on yet. Plus it didn't look like the pool had been cleaned from the night before. All in all, it's a really nice hotel and to have all the pool and dining options they have are great, but it's not as family friendly as we were hoping.
We live in town so we like to do the seasonal events they offer. They offer great activities for the kids. We stayed on the 14th this year for their best summer ever event. The room was great, it overlooked sunset beach which the kids loved. The service was great all around. The only issue I have is with the food. The prices are so reciculously high for the food and it is average at best. We had to send one thing back during lunch and one meal at dinner. Very disappointing. Either have the quality of the food match the price of it or reduce the price greatly for what is served.
We absolutely love this Resort. If we could live there we'd probably move into it. Everything is wonderful about it. Definitely go and eat at the bourbon Steakhouse Grill in the front. The bar menu is fantastic. And the service is absolutely wonderful. The bar at the pool is great we didn't get to eat at their restaurant at the golf course. But we eating it all of the other restaurants on campus.
Loved loved it. I enjoyed the massage and drinks and lunch at the pool. Great service.
Wonderful establishment minutes away from high end shopping in Scottsdale.
Great facility and resort but that s the negative. It s encouraging you to not leave and explore the beautiful surroundings
Great staff and lovely property. On property restaurants have variety and high quality. It's a little far north for access to Old Town Scottsdale and such, but worth it.
I have been many times at Princess Spa ,but this time my friend and I noticed that the pool on the 3 rd floor was not cleaned, some dirty pillows were thrown inside the pool ,and we had to pull them out of our way all the time. My friend visited the spa for the first time and she expected something very different for the price of the service we paid.
This is such tremendous experience... Great Resort , Great amenities & food.. the pools..... are amazing
Very beautiful place. Personnel go out of their way to be accomodating. Highly recommend this place to anyone with higher expectations.
Great place! If you are planning a get away in Scottsdale, AZ this is the place to stay! - all 60+ acres of the property is amazing (Rose garden in pic) - check-in - room amenities - all staff I encountered was 5 star...hoping to come back soon!
Great hotel, lots of things to see and do. Just be aware they do charge for parking.
What a fantastic place. Right next to the greatest show on grass
Had an office Christmas party here. Everything was fantastic! Only complaint was that they did not clearly show us how to get to the train and the s'mores area afterward.
This place was absolutely magical at Christmas and worth every penny . (And very affordable!) Not only were the grounds beautiful, the customer service was impeccable. They have a beach and heated pools, "snow" tubing, campfire smores, tons of lights, ice skating, you name it, it's there. This was a staycation to remember for myself and three daughters will definitely be making this a yearly tradition!
Incredible stay here at the beginning of April. This will become an annual place to visit for me and my family.
Rude front desk. Resort feels old / dirty. You're better off at a motel.
Nothing about it felt luxury. Overpriced. No restaurants near by, you have to drive.
This place is amazing! Lots of pools for kids and family. Food is a little $$$, so consider bringing your own or going out locally.
Great place and family friendly. They really make you feel welcome
Definitely NOT a 5 star hotel experience. I brought my sister from Atlanta to spoil her. Nothing seems to be a five star experience (except one fabulous bartender). Can t watch a pay per view movie- no one can figure out why after 3 calls. 2 calls into room service (always put on hold for a while). Finally got my pint of ice cream and four cookies ($45) after an hour and a half. Excuse- it s Labor Day weekend , we don t have enough people. Coming from the industry, that is Not a good time excuse. You bring in more people. #whypairforfivestar . Plenty of other hotels with fantastic service.
Absolutely beautiful place to vacation. The staff is very attentive to all of your needs. Pool staff keep you hydrated and offer sun screen and aloe while making sure you enjoy yourself. The housekeeping staff maintained the cleanliness of our room and supplied a fridge upon request. Multiple restaurants and pools for everyone. The views of the mountains were great. Will definitely return and highly recommended.
Great resort, really good restaurants. Stayed here for four nights in October. Great for family or couples. Middle pool was my fav.
This was a great stay. All around service, quality was perfect. Pricelime had a great deal, and remember there is a 32 resort fee a day. But well worth it.
