Absolutely stunning, we had a great staycation. Service was excellent everywhere in the resort. La Hacienda was delicious. Our room was fantastic. We will definitely be back soon.

Worth every penny

Everything was great, except the valet. Very very rude.

It was very relaxing to be able to lay by the pool and not have to ask for anything. All staff was very attentive and our experience was fabulous! Next time we will stay onsite the entire time instead of venturing out for business. Everything you need is there!

We wanted to support local by attending the drive -in on May 2nd. We felt comfortable attending considering the rules stated everyone must stay inside their vehicles.

Unfortunately, a good 60% did not comply. Folding chairs outside of vehicles were not permitted, yet over a dozen people used them. Open trunks with people hanging out of them.

We alerted security, but unfortunately they didn't make anyone comply either. We put ourselves at risk to help others for a good cause and expected people to follow the rules.

Lots of mosquitos, way overpriced room service and mini bar. Nice enough room I guess but this is not a 5 star property in my opinion

It was a Christmas event that was just amazing. Lights galore.

A festive and colorful display of Christmas cheer between Thanksgiving and New Year's.

The rooms are modern and clean. Staff is wonderful, and the grounds are beautiful. Perfect venue for a business conference, or a romantic getaway.

Went for an overnight staycation. Staff and property was great, but there was a very noisy cricket outside our room that robbed us of our sleep.

We asked to simply be in the back of the Christmas lights train and the conductor refused to put us in the very back of the train like we asked to. Disgraceful. Ask for a simple request and we are denied. I don t care go to Weston Kierland or something but do not come to Princess. I am being dead serious do NOT come here.

The reason why I'm giving this a 4 star is because it gets super noisy near the bar if you have a room near it. Ask for a quiet area if you're that kind of person that wants to sleep a little earlier than 12 AM. However, the ballroom was great, the food they provided for the conference held there was delicious, and most of all, there's a bird watch person that comes by every morning and works there. You're able to pet the owl if you ask! He's so calm and cute. Overall, I had a wonderful time at the hotel. Just warn people like me that the room Im going to might be noisy!

I have not even arrived, and I am disappointed in Fairmont Scottsdale Princess & Well Being Spa. Everything from waiting on hold, to countless times of calling to talk to the spa manger. Then to find out that they have no opening 6 days way from arrival! Can you believe it!!! I received a gift card for the Spa for a staycation, and wanted to enjoy the spa this weekend!! It has been ruined because they have no opening for anything!!! We ended up canceling our room reservations and I am so disappointed in the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess & Well Being Spa. I would do better at Message Eveny!!

So many positive things to say about this place! Was impressed with the high level of customer service from check in to check out and everything in between. Was especially pleased with the professionalism & first class service displayed by Andrew McLaughlin, the general manager at Bourbon Steak. He turned our dining experience into a delightful & memorable one. Nicely run business overall- would highly recommend this resort and restaurant!

Great stay. Rooms were clean and ready as soon as we checked in. Lots of activities for the kids. First day was a little busy but as expected for a holiday weekend. Staff was great.

We were guided to the condos at the back of the property...which turned out to be a real disappointment for our one day get away. It had a lovely view of the parking lot, and was not a good choice for us. A little conversation would have provided us with a more appropriate accommodation for sure. It was depressing to stay there. For the price, it had no makeup mirror and poor bathroom lighting overall. Sorry.

We had an outstanding visit to the Fairmont Princess. We found the hotel to be very family friendly, with lots of options for children's activities. The pools were beautiful and clean, with lots of available lounge chairs. The food was outstanding. Will definitely be back

What a wonderful experience. My one year old had such a blast at Christmas at the princess. She was dancing clapping and loving the lights. I will have to say ... $$$ for the prices of things. Be prepared to spend the experience is too good not to shop and eat well. Everything we had was delicious!!

From the hotel valet person to the bellcap ... This was by far the best resort I stayed at this summer. Thumbs up for all the training and extra mile the hotel is willing to accommodate their guests. Great place to stay.

First class the entire way! This place is true oasis in the desert.

Edited... after night two the flaws came out and its bad.... I was hung up on three times trying to just reach the front desk. , and was put on hold for 30 minutes trying to book a reservation for dinner... very disappointing. In person this place is heavenly but you call anyone and you will be disappointed. I'm tired of being hung up on!

Excellence in service and amenities..... The grounds are impeccably kept.... Close to casinos, shopping, fine dining and more def. recommend..

Wow! The holiday season here was spectacular- would be a great vacay with your family, with lots to do right on the premises, and hundreds of light displays everywhere.

Lovely Resort property, rooms have great balconies, bathrooms are great! Near the TPC Scottsdale Golf course. this hotel has Spectacular views, service, and facilities. What's not to love Gourmet, fresh buffet-style breakfast every morning, beautiful grounds, The rooms are beautiful and comfortable, the service helpful and accommodating. I stay here every chance I get.

Absolutely amazing. I was treated to The wellbeing spa and salon. My hair came out amazing. There is a hawk on The premises her name is Bella and she's beautiful. The sand beach pool was the best. Our villa suite Was breathtaking. If you have a chance to stay here it's a must.

Lovely place with vast grounds. The bar in the center courtyard has great snacks for watching the sunset in total peace!

We went to the Christmas festival. It was great. The s'mores package was expensive though. Lights were plentiful and music good. Outdoor skating rink was full of happy people.

I had stayed at the Fairmont for an evening back in November. Unfortunately, I was only in the area for an interview the next morning so I can t say I was able to enjoy all of the amenities.

Arizona was going through an unseasonably cold spell and I remember the room being really chilly. When I called customer service, they had someone out to my room immediately to get the heating up and running.

The room itself was fantastic, great bed...great bathroom, great layout. I didn t have an opportunity to venture out but I enjoyed the stay, and the service at the resort was top notch.

Beautiful place. The pool is awesome. Lots of waking. Lots of parking, did I mention lots of walking? Handicap accessible, valet parking and again lots of walking.

Very nice resort. Wish they would have had better hours for the dining and poolside bars though.

We had an extremely nice time, outside of our last night. We ate at Bourbon Steakhouse and my husband and another friend that ate dinner with us ended up having food poisoning. They were the only ones that ate soup that night and both became violently ill later that evening. I understand that the staff can not monitor or anticipate this to happen, the disappointing part was we had to cut our staycation short (leaving at 8:30AM on our last and not even enjoying the remainder of the day) and no one from management of the resort contacted me until almost more than 24 hours after we left. All in all, the resort was great, amenities were great, staff was extremely accomodating.outisde of the incident.

Great staff. Super friendly and knowledgeable. Ate at LA Hacienda and the steak place. I would recommend La Haciendo if you're deciding between the two. Great pools, drinks were delicious. Cocojito mmm!

They wring you dry and God forbid they give you good pool food for the amount of money they charge you - but it s a fun place and best place to be at Xmas!

Great lights and polar sledding was fun for my youngest he really enjoyed it. Room was awesome

I attended for a work luncheon and overall it was a great experience. The area was clean and decorated to fit the season. The people were very nice and ready to serve. The food was very good. The only thing I would recommend is better signage. As we were pulling in, we had difficulty knowing which was the correct Saloon. Other than that, it was a great experience.

We were left to find our room on our own and the bell boy was no help and only gave a direction to head.When we entered the room we found multiple moths and other types of flying bugs.Also I was upset to find dirty towels left in the bathroom.But I really enjoyed the bath tub.

Had our office party there. The staff there made our party perfect. The grounds were brightly lit up screaming holiday, everyone wore masks, were attentive and professional. There was ice skating, a ferris wheel and lot of family/kid activities. I loved it.

Many LARGE luxury resorts are overwhelming in focus, size, scope and approaches to their customers, sorta like some of the mega cruise ships sailing today. The Fairmont Princess is NOT one of those. Rather it maintains a certain level of intimacy in it's sprawling grounds, a certain level of customer service that is based in 'what ya Mama taught you', rather than from pernicious snobbery, and recreation options focused on delighting the visitor, rather than providing them with a 'shock and awe experience. The only reason this is not a 5 star review is that we did not stay overnight at the resort, so reviewing rooms etc. is not part of the review.

Went for the Christmas festivities and was moderately pleased. The fee gets you close parking and into a small area, otherwise there's not much benefit.

My family went to brunch at the Fairmont on Easter sunday. The event was pretty disorganized, The check-in procedure was poor, there was nowhere to wait for your table except in the hot sun (it was in the 90's) and the little girls at the check-in area must have been temporary help. When we placed our reservation we were not advised that we may have to sit outside. We ended up outside with our elderly mothers and a toddler. In the conference center, where we found some A/C while waiting for our table, the restrooms did not have a changing station. My wife reported that the faucets in the women's room were not working and there was a pitcher or water there so that you could wash your hands. Unbelievable! The only saving grace was the food, which was very good. The layout for the stations was too far away from the tables. Topping off the experience was an automatic tip added onto the bill. As we walked out past the girls at the check-in area, we did not even get a "thank you" from them.

Best accommodation in the area with all facilities. Beautiful location to relax with family.

My family went to winter wonder again this year. The facilities and attractions are very good. Our kids had such a good time and it has become a Christmas Tradition. However, the constantly rising prices are outrageous. $35 to park is very steep.

I've only been there for brief events, but everything always goes smoothly and staff is always eager to help.

Fairmont Scottsdale Princess offers very nice accommodations. The rooms are beyond comfortable. The rooms in the conference center (my reason for being here) are kept cold but then again when are conference rooms ever comfortable?
The staff here are stellar, everyone from the front desk to the doormen to the restaurant staff have been so polite and helpful. The only issue I have is the cost of the food and drinks here. Again, totally expected I just don't have to like it.
If I have to come back to Scottsdale I will definitely return here.

I was there for the Christmas event, I got in free because a friend's company paid for them and a few guests to attend. It was very beautiful, though every activity there was ungodly expensive. Im not the usual type who would attend these events, they would probably appeal to people who actually had money. It was free for me so I cant complain much, I enjoyed walking through the light path with my SO. very pretty

I went there for the pools but the water felt heated not a fan of the heated watet

Went to attend the "Lights at the Princess" but it took 10 minutes to get up to the parking area only to be turned away due to capacity issues. Very poor public crowd control, poor use of the facilities when they could have used the electronic sign out front to say they were full instead of wasting the time of I don't know how many families with little children,

THE 5 diamond resort in Scottsdale, amazing restaurants and great staff.

We stayed here last weekend for a "staycation" using a locals discount. Spa, gym and all restaurants except one was closed.
Customer service and management at this property appears to be non-existent.

We spent our first day at the Sonoran Splash pool which is intended for children. While walking to get chairs set up, my sister stepped on a rusty screw that went right through her sandal and into her foot. About an hour after that, our one year old was sitting at the beach entry edge of the pool when we noticed something in her hand...Another screw! Thank god we caught it before she put it in her mouth (standard one year old behavior). Our boys continued to find more screws that morning on the stairs to the waterslide and around the pool area. Out of concern that one of them would get hurt, we unfortunately had to take the kids to a different pool. This ruined the day as the water slides were the main reason we wanted to stay here.

Management was neither sympathetic nor concerned about this entire situation. They had an injured guest, obviously due to their own neglect, and their biggest concern was to fill out an security report for liability purposes. They weren't interested in hearing about where we found these screws nor any follow-up was done. When we came to check out on Monday morning, we intended on brining this up but there was no one at the front desk. We waited almost 10 minutes before we finally left and checked out online. We will not be returning to the Fairmont Scottsdale and beware to other guests that this hotel does not take their guests safety seriously.

The grounds are absolutely brilliant, however the staff very rude. Scottsdale is our place of residence, we thought it would be a nice weekend holiday event for our grandchild however, when we request to make reservations the lady at the front desk was had poor eye contact and didn t want to be bothered she made the comment several times she dosent have time nor is it her job to make a hotel reservation to call the number on this card , then walked away . I am giving a 2 star for the cleanliness and beauty of the grounds and absolute 0 for poor customer service

The resort itself is great! However!! The tile in the bathroom was outdated, the furniture in my room (B3102) had too many scratches and chips in it. And for $250 a night, I shouldn't have to pay for a microwave or fridge!!!! My dinner from the previous night had to be thrown away because it sat out. Hell, even the Motel 6 GIVES you a free microwave and fridge.Also, the "Complimentary" internet was $14.99. You had to pay to use the "Complimentary" sauna. They OBVIOUSLY do not understand the term complimentary. I felt like we were being nickeled and dimed out of everything. Nice resort, but won't be returning anytime soon.

Loud, the walls are very thin. tried to change dinner reservation the concierge made and concierge told me to call myself because he was too busy. Water does not get hot even after complaining. Radio & light fixtures in the room did not work.
