I think Essent is a bad supplier and administration is 0 at their + expensive. By mistake account I am always behind calling and every time saying it is alright but apparently unfortunately not so I decided to change just go away from Essent and now I am resting.

Although the employees on the telephone remain friendly, the file management is at the lowest level. My roommate and I already planned a switch to another supplier after 3 months because of their horribly poor communication. Our EAN code turned out to be incorrect, then again but the meter numbers were not. After that, the combination was wrong, in total Fluvius visited more than 5 times for this. After a few months we received an invoice, 3 times as high as originally estimated, not knowing that we were still affiliated with Essent at all. And not even knowing what was our proper meter number. The invoice was canceled twice afterwards, as the employees themselves doubted whether this could be correct. Finally, a final invoice was made and we were told that it is binding. In short, we have paid our blue to electricity that we have not even used ourselves. I've never cheated and felt powerless. I will never recommend Essent to friends, family or acquaintances, this is really outrageous.

Never ever conclude a contract with Essent. Obligation practices that come to the Netherlands from Belgium. This supplier does not belong on the Belgian market. People are warned, once you have signed the contract you will pay your blue.

A telemarketer of arrogance and limit the aggressiveness ....
Contacting a possible "future" client saying "Will you send us walk like the others?"
This seller that allows tu me and call me by my first name input communication ...
Use a tone to the limit foutage of mouth ...
And best of all, hear me say "I have long studied your psychological profile" !!!!!! While there, hard to keep from laughing .......
Communication, or you feel perfectly that if you say no, the tone will be much more aggressive ....

1 star and again because we can not put less or I would not even put at all! First-time scammers, that's what they are. They walk you by lying to you and when you are well done, a penance to terminate your contract. 6 months later, they still send you bills and not small 195 for 1 month !!!!! During this time, the sales department continues to approach you by promising you mountains and wonders. You can ask them politely to stop, we continue to receive 4 to 5 calls a day from them. A tip: NEVER GO AT THEM !!!!

Slechte service, absurd hoge prijzen.
Sturen dubbele facturen op, je moet oppassen dat je niet dubbel betaald anders geld kwijt. Ze sturen hier zelf herinneringsbrieven voor op waar je dan voor moet betalen ondanks ik deze had betwist op dag van ontvangst.
Antwoorden niet op vragen per mail
Geven verkeerde info door via telefonisch contact.
Ik zoek wel een betrouwbare energieleverancier. Essent is gewoon een regelrechte schande.

One of their representative went home in late July, I refused to make a contract and a few days later, they send me one, I call to cancel it. I receive what it is canceled, in mid-August, I receive a letter from my current supplier who told me that the change will happen, I remind Essent who tells me no there is no contract. My mother calls she is told that there are two active contracts for the same address and in my name. Two hours later, my companion calls, from two contracts we went to three contracts always for the same house and active. The contracts have even been signed. Whose hand? I wonder because I never agreed to go home. Right now I'm at home since yesterday while so-called all contracts have been canceled. So I was reminded to learn what? That there were always three active contracts -_- the last asset is valid until 03/09/2022 when I did not sign anything, nothing accepted and of course they will not send us the so-called signed contract !

You need to avoid this company. Totally worthless. After 6 months I still didn't received the final bill. So they're avoiding to pay your money back. Only answer from them was that their system sucks and it has a problem and I should be patient. That's why next time they'll discuss with a lawyer

When renewing your contract, they don't give you the best deal. They just continue the type of contract you already have, which could be way more expensive than the new offers they have. I lost more than 500 because of this and they don't care at all. Loyalty clearly doesn't matter because now I have the feeling I have to switch companies every year. I am NOT returning to Essent, that's for sure.

Deplorable after-sales service. HUGE error in the billing service found in March, we are at the end of June and still no real solution. This strip of donkeys claims 1500 kWh, actually consumed 463 kWh and I was the one who had to take all the steps to make sure there was no problem. Credit note sent to claim the same amount in the same month. Today more than 2 hours spent on the phone, with 3 different operators. I ask to speak to a manager, who obviously spends her life in a meeting or sipping an alcohol-free mojito. I REALLY advise against taking out a contract with them.

Nooit meer! facturen zijn zeer onduidelijk. als je om duidelijkheid vraagt dan krijg je ineens een andere afrekening als initieel. dan ineens een openstaand saldo met kosten. weer een ander bedrag. weer uitleg en juiste afrekening gevraagd. niets meer van gehoord en dan een aangetekende met opnieuw kosten en een te betalen saldo. ik begrijp niet meer wat ik nu precies betaald heb en of ik nu alles betaald heb of dat ik nog eens een 'afrekening' ga krijgen.
ik betaal graag de 55 euro nu en hoop dat dit dan effectief het te betalen bedrag was.
In iedere geval; wij zijn geen klant meer bij essent en zullen essent niet meer aanraden aan derden en dit op basis van hun slechte communicatie in het kader van facturen en afrekeningen. Vooral spijtig als je klant gewoon wil betalen en enkel het juiste saldo wenst te kennen en niets anders....

Ik ben bij Essent terecht gekomen via Mijn Energie.
Ik ben er klant sinds 1 april 2019, dus moest ik na +/- 2 maanden mijn
meterstanden doorgeven via Fluvius. Nu zijn we half augustus en heb nog steeds geen afrekening gekregen. Na 2 x telefonisch contact te hebben opgenomen en 1 x via mail blijft het bij Essent doodstil. Dus administratie en klantendienst 1 groooote nul. Bij mijn mail kreeg ik een mailtje terug dat ik binnen de vijf dagen een antwoord zou krijgen, dat zullen er nu ongeveer 10 (dagen) zijn en nog niets. 1ste telefoon heel vriendelijk maar snel afgewimpeld, een beetje geduld hebben was het antwoord. 2de telefoontje, een hollandse schone, tussen veel gekuchel met moeite een ja, nee of ik weet het niet. Triestige zaak Essent. Ik hoop maar een ding dat de afrekening zal kloppen want bij de klantendienst zat veel volk te wachten en daar ging het ook niet vooruit.

Bad service. 14 days after our connection with Essent as new customer, the dossier is still not passed on to Eandis and we are without Gas. Have already called 10 times to the customer service but it will not be resolved. The customer endeavor also does not work on Saturdays, Sundays and Tuesday afternoons!

The customers are very unfriendly and simply submit questions, refund of a final bill, I and my family have been waiting for 3 weeks. The customer service claims that it pays and does not know what happened to the invoice and payments for the rest. My essent.be account was also suddenly deleted. When transferring to another energy supplier, essent express did not respond to the transition to still be able to continue to invoice. After all that misery I have to go to the office to put everything right. We have been a customer for 2 years and these were the 2 worst years for energy and is a very heavy traitor. With essent you have nothing like problems. They promise you an advance and this is suddenly 4x more expensive without any warning. And you guessed it as mentioned before, essent knows nothing.

Die het mooi speelt.
Ze versturen een mail die je dan live moet openen.
Om zo je te leiden naar de knop om je klant te maken.

Normaal zou er nog een mail volgen om het te annuleren.
Dus nooit nog Essent. Al zijn ze zoveel keer goedkoper.
Ik zal wel de vreg controleren en daar een keus uit maken.

Of all the energy providers I've had is the most mediocre and the most void of all! Indeed they took me a bill for an address to which I do not live because I had forgotten to delete the domiciliation. . So to use the account we do not hesitate but to repay since April 2018 I still waiting for my money. They constantly ask me for my EAN code while they have it and each time I call them on the phone everything is in order and they will refund me and send me an email to my new address. But I'm still waiting. So if you want to have trouble in your energy bills go to essent, the most mediocre supplier. I pass all this to test purchases. Especially Lampiris is cheaper than them and much more serious!

I pay by direct debit, suddenly 2000 euros from my account over 5 different transactions by Essent. Two weeks on the phone with 6 different employees, all with a different story, from "no mistake but I can't explain it" to "I've never experienced this sir".
Transfers can be recalled through the bank, but no clear explanation after 3 weeks.
Asked for two simple invoices with a detailed description of what is being charged, but apparently that is not possible within this period.

I still look forward to a response. In the meantime, the following invoices arrive on time, which I refuse to pay before an explanation is given of what just happened here.

According to several employees, there is a new program for automation of invoices, if you have this with different customers, that is a nice amount!

As long as everything goes well, they do what they have to do. Offer invoices online. But it soon becomes cloudy as soon as you request exact hourly rates with regard to. your contract and if you want to compare with fixed / variable day / night etc ... The threshold becomes very high when things like payments etc. go wrong. Caught them for not granting free energy package provided by the government and several times for unilaterally increasing the monthly advance. Each time it takes an unacceptable amount of time and energy to resolve this via email and telephone.

personally i have been a customer at essent for several years without having ever met the slightest problem; Essent is even the cheapest energy (electricity) provider in my area. It is true that we manifest ourselves willingly when we are not satisfied and do not bother to do it when all is well. Here, I try to compensate by bringing my stone to the building.

We found out in April that our natural gas consumption was charged incorrectly (wrong meter with a much higher consumption than ours) so we have paid far too much ... Despite a complaint with the Energy Ombudsman (I just got no answers from the customer service at Essent) has been dragging this on for 7 months now ... They are blaming Fluvius, while Fluvius has already provided all meter readings to them to make a correct settlement, but they refuse to cross the bridge ...

Absolutely to be avoided! Very customer-friendly company!

april krijg ik een corretie rekening van 850.30
nu in oktober krijg ik terug eentje en dat is de twee bedragen van hier boven

An unpaid interim invoice was deducted from my final invoice. This TTF was about the period after my move, so like other companies, it is credited so that you receive a correct final invoice.

Wij zijn helemaal niet te spreken over "Essent", en geven dan ook helemaal geen enkele review-ster aan "Essent" ( 1 moet helaas, anders krijgt men de review niet ge-post). Hun werk- en communicatiemethode is hallucinant, men wordt bewust bedrogen en men staat daarenboven machteloos. Mensen, maak niet dezelfde fout zoals wij die maakten, stap dus NOOIT over naar "Essent"! Wij zijn nog maar recent klant bij Essent, sinds december 2016, hun slogan 'Onze energie, daar geniet je van', die is ver te zoeken. Wij hebben ons nog nooit zo bedrogen en belogen gevoeld zoals nu bij "Essent". Begin december 2017 betaalden wij, voor de periode 01/01/2018-31/12/2018, een Voorafbedrag van 2181,54 . Eind december 2017 werd dit Voorafbedrag, omwille van o.a. de plaatsing van zonnepanelen en op onze vraag, verrekend naar 921,92 . Dan bleef het enkele maanden stil, tot we de meterstand doorgegeven hadden en het eerste afrekeningsfactuur kregen voor de periode 01/01/2017-30/03/2018. Ter info, vanaf dit moment kregen we voor 't eerst te maken met het vreselijke 'online-contactformulieren-systeem' van "Essent". Immers, enkel via dit systeem kan men "Essent" contacteren, en de antwoorden die men daarop mag ontvangen, die zijn vaak standaard, steeds doordacht en in het voordeel van "Essent".

Datum 19/02/'19, al 14 maanden miserie ondertussen, geen terugbetaling en nieuw te betalen factuur van 2854 !
Datum 12/04/'19, 't blijft duren, dubbele facturatie, aanmaningskosten...:-( Datum 30/04/'19, nu slaat echt alles; afrekeningsfactuur gekregen, en ons Vooraf betaald bedrag van 2181,54 , dat wordt zelfs helemaal niet mee in rekening gebracht!!! Datum 03/02/'20, al 26 maanden miserie ondertssen.11/06/20,Val dood!

A door-to-door salesman from Essent tricked my 88-year-old mother into signing a subscription. They have not yet supplied Kw electricity and not even m3 of gas, but they still receive invoices and now also recently sent reminders. Called them several times and they went to rectify everything. So no ! Today a registered letter will be sent to them to stop their harassment. The Consumer Affairs Department will also be informed. If I could, I would give a 0 (zero) here. Just outrageous way of doing it.
