If possible, this should be a minus 5 star review. I enquired by email about buying the back porthole rim for my washing machine on 19 May 2020 and was informed that I need to place an order. ETA is 4 to 6 weeks upon confirmation. I confirmed my order and paid the required 50%deposit ( My Order No. 20102614UJ ). After 6 weeks, on 13 July, I enquired about the status of my order. There was no reply. On 16 August, I follow up with another email enquiry on my order. The reply came on 21 August and I was told my order is estimated to arrive either late December or may change. On 29 August, I requested a cancellation of my order and a return of my deposit since M/s Electrolux was not able to fulfil my order as initially stated. The reply I received on 9 September from Ms Nur Ashida was that approval from the manager is required and she will get back to me. But up to now, there is no reply. On 7 December, I emailed to enquire about the status of my order cancellation. No reply again.
If I had been told on the onset that there would likely be a long delay, I would not have gone ahead with the order. I would have just replace the washing machine. Now end of December is here and I wonder will there be a conclusion.
This is worse than poor customer service. I will not have my other Electrolux appliances repaired if they break down. No more Electrolux for me. Or maybe perhaps I have been scammed?
