Engie, a long history ... customer with them for more than 20 years, every year they get worse. Their latest find, Cozie, a maintenance and repair service for your boiler, that's what they say. Actually it's just a spin-off I guess to pay less tax.
A company that gives you an appointment, which canceled the same day, then sent technicians the wrong time, who are always right but who make mistakes, one told me the error is human, but to because of him, my boiler has not worked for a month. They came 3 times and each time a different diagnosis. Parts to replace, and then in fact no, that's something else. Gas evacuation pipe to be replaced, ordered, received, they send a technician, but impossible to do the intervention because you have to go up to the roof and he did not know ... in short, champions. I call them every day, twice a day so that they can come for the procedure, they have to call me back but never do. I am waiting for this Friday, the last date, to go and look elsewhere.
To flee ! Engie, Cozie, Covid, same fight. Bad luck.

They came to install their famous boxx tablet which acts as a thermostat when it was 27 degrees. Result, from the first cold days, nothing works, no heating, we may have called, they do not send anyone to repair.

I have been a customer at Engie for 5 years. Monthly bill started at 66 / month, I now pay 156 / month. Forget about the annual accounts payable (between 600 and 800 per year). Today I received a nice surprise. A nice letter from a bailiff, summons to appear in court within 30 days. Good Christmas !

The reason ? An invoice of 107 which dates from 3 years ago. After calling customer service, I apparently received 2 reminders per letter (The first in June 2017 / And a formal notice in June 2020). Being up to date in all my invoices, and having paid Engie more than 6000 during the last 5 years, I am greatly surprised to never have received these letters. In addition, I ask Engie to communicate with me by email to avoid any breach. Never received ANY reminder by email.

Obviously, once in the hands of a bailiff, there is much more to do. We therefore go from an invoice of 107 to an invoice of 430 .

My balance in my customer area that I consult quite often? NO trace of this famous invoice.

I'm leaving you, it was definitely not a pleasure.

If someone has another supplier, I am taker.

A guy came to the appartment that I just rented saying that my appartments was run by Engie (back then I didn't know it was an ABSOLUTE LIE) and they were updating information on current tenants, he asked me to gave him my information and signed a paper AND A COUPLE MONTHS LATER I FIND OUT THAT THEY CONSIDER SUCH PAPER "A CONTRACT" AND THAT I HAVE TO PAY 200 EUROS, EVEN THOUGH I ALREADY PAY FOR ELECTRICITY AND GAS FOR ANOTHER COMPANY, WHICH IS INCLUDED IN MY RENT AND MY LANDLORD MANAGES IT!

No solution was offered, no phone call, I only received a postal letter and yet I signed and approved nothing but ENGIE made me a forced contract at a shameful rate without ever sending them to me. I had to call several times without having any explanation. So I take a contract with another supplier to counter their mafia way (although even the mafia offers better contact).
The response given by ENGIE below is lamentable, you suggest that I contact a service that I have already contacted and with which I am not satisfied. I just had ORES and ENECO who confirmed to me that I did not have a contract with you and you continue to send me invoices ... I will immediately call Electrabel to find out why my contract has not yet been canceled. I talk to a woman first. She tries to convince me to stay with electrabel and then she says that my cancellation was late because I signed my contract more than a month ago. I answer that according to my contract (it is written on it) I had to send the revocation within 2 weeks after receiving the confirmation of the contract. And I sent a registered letter 2 days after receipt. She says she can't help me because it isn't and she connects me to someone else. The man is a bit more friendly and explains why my contract has not yet been canceled: "You sent the cancellation only for natural gas and not for electricity, so you are still registered." . Our gas contract was refused by the gas-network manager, and Engie failed to communicate this to us. When asking why we did not receive our gas invoices (we did receive our electricity invoices), we had no answer for over 10 days. One day, our gas was just cut off, and only after spending hours (and many euros, as they have no free tel number) on the phone did we learn about the error Engie made. They could not fix our gas connection immediately so in the middle of november we are in the cold for an entire week.

I've changed from energy supplier from Lampiris to Engie Electrabel because the have promised me it was cheaper. One year later still nothing has changed in my energy bill and when I call to the Engie Desk they can't give me any more info why nothing has changed in the bill. So I change back to Lampiris because in my opinion they are better because of the green energy. Now I've received an end bill with the amount of + 154 to pay.(PS: I'm living alone and need to pay this many for not using the electricity?!?) I directly called back to Engie Desk and said I couldn't pay that amount because I already payed them for the month who has passed and also the new energy supplier Lampiris. SO THIS MEANS I PAY 2 TIMES FOR ONE MONTH + an END BILL THAT IS MORE THEN THE NORMAL MONTHLY AMOUNT TO PAY

Never or ever take services from a company of the state. They will ruin you and you can't do anything against it!
