The worse customer service I have ever experienced...

The worse customer service I have ever experienced. They cut my service off for my bill running over by 10euro. I then paid a bill that wasnt even due and the surcharge. They said my service would restore in 15 minutes. It's now been a week and I can't get through to customer service no matter what I try. Absolutely terrible service for a business of this scale.

Probably the most appalling piece of customer service I ve experienced.

In summary received an e mail advising me of 7 increase.
The 1800 number quoted on email not in service went to website 1800 number on site not in service

Eventually, on 1905 self-service number got through to customer loyalty representative who went through all data verification procedures explained that I only use line in holiday home for broad band and increase not justified etc and needed to cancel line.

He put me through to another customer service representative who went through all data verification procedures again and I explained that I needed to cancel line. She put me on hold and came back to me a few minutes later with a revised offer of 42 per month.

I explained I wanted to cancel the line she strongly advised against same citing various reasons for doing so. I explained I wanted to cancel the line again, again she strongly advised against same etc.

While this was going on I could clearly hear a number of her work colleagues in the background laughing and shouting audible obscenities at each other including the F word. I asked the representative if she could advise her work colleagues that this was singularly inappropriate for which she apologised.

She then proceeded to read out what I assume was a prepared script advising me that in the event I didn t pay outstanding balances that legal action for debt recovery including publication of my name etc would ensue. I explained that this wasn t an issue, however she continued to read from the script.

All in all the whole process took circa 45 minutes.

I suppose that I shouldn't be surprised by the poor customer service of the telephone staff.

It's so easy to sign up to Eir, there's so many shops around but when you decide to leave, it's harder than winning the Rugby World Cup.

I've called Eir 5 times today; first call said that they wanted the business name, which was my name, which I have and they refused to pass the id test. 2nd call was they wanted the account number and as I couldn't give it, they finished the call. 3rd call, got through to cancellations and the man said 'oh my computer has just crashed' Can I call you back? Yeah sure, I say. I'm still waiting for the return call. 4th call, operator hung up. 5th call, advised to send an email to eir, which I have done.

Such a shame that the nation's provider treats you this way but it's a buyer's market so my advice, shop around.

Oh my god what a useless company. on phone, chat they are useless. Ending my contract and they cut my internet every 10 mins. AVOID THIS PROVIDER !!! They were good in the past but I don't know what happened to their CS.

Sham of a company and an absolute disgrace. As a business customer I have never experienced a company as bad as yours. Not sure how you guys are still operating but your days are numbered. A serious lesson in business basics is required for your so called management team. It's refreshing to get proper service from Vodafone now after getting rid of you guys... Good riddance!

Horrendous customer service and overall experience. Staff seem uninterested in helping and just want you to hang up. 100% the worst service provider I ve ever dealt with. Complaints dept is a black hole and pointless. Avoid at all costs.

This is an appalling company with even worse custo...

This is an appalling company with even worse customer service. In the capital city of Dublin we have been without TV, WiFi, and phone service since Saturday. It is impossible to speak to anyone in authority. We want to leave this company but have been told we will be penalised. We have told them that they have actually breached their contract with us due to lack of provision of service. We should never have moved to them. Third serious provision issue in 18 months.

Ordered broadband 3 weeks ago told engineer would contact me in 3 days never happened.
cannot cancel without talking to someone but no one answers phone
Sent a letter to cancellations never get a reply
Still taking money from my account
Looks like I am not the only one

One of the badest companies.
Need to wait for a connection more than 80 minutes till connection with customer service.
And definetly-they can't approve your safety for 100 % .
One of the worst companies in Ireland.
Sorry . Better use a Vodafone.
Much better vodafone. Even 3 x better than EIR

Worst service ever. Eir doesn't even deserve a 1 star rating.

This company tries to squeeze every penny out of you when you cancel the service with them. i used their broadband for 2 years and called to cancel at 12th June but only processed the cancellation at 2nd July. The reason I was told is because I never told them to cancel the landline together with the broadband?? I called and told them I'm moving home so I'm cancelling the service and my account. Just full of lies. When I asked to get out the records of my last call to eir, the customer service staff told me she can't see any evidence that I called eir at 12th June. OMG I have records on my phone ok?! This is just the worse company ever and always tries to squeeze a few extra euros out of the customers.

Client service equals to zero and eir made cancellation so so so difficult. You have to call them and wait nearly ONE HOUR on the line! And once you get connected, they say they process your cancellation but they never did. The next time you speak to a different staff, she won't acknowledge that you submitted queries last time because somehow that call I made just never happened according to her????
Such a disgrace company and I will let everyone I know to stay away from this company.

THIS IS JUST THE WORST EXPERIENCE YOU CAN EVER POSSIBLY GET, RUN AS FAR AWAY AS YOU COULD FROM THIS COMPANY

The way you treat your customers is disgusting. I had to spend and hour and a half on the phone to cancel the service and then got a bill like it was never canceled. I tried to get this sorted by chat, but they can't help and advise me to ring 1901.

Update: You tried a few other dirty tricks in the meanwhile to keep me as a customer, but it will not work. I will NEVER use your service and would recommend everybody reading this to skip eir and just try anybody else.

Worst customer service ever. Sales team lie about deals and bundles, then do not honour said deals. Waited an hour on the phone to be told nothing can be done, and by someone who has no idea what they're talking about, this is after spending the best part of 2 hours a day last week waiting to get through with no answer. Do not go with Eir by any means.

I have just waited 46 minutes on a call to this joke of a company , for someone to come on and tell me that they can t deal with my query at this time, and they d put me down for a call back , he didn t even ask about my query just told me he d put me down for a call back , stay well clear of this sham of a company , never seem to stick to the agreement signed up to .

Could not check "0 star".
I subscribed to a bundle with a free tablet that I never received.
They increase the price of the bundle of 5 euros so I wanted to cancel.
I call to cancel, everything is ok. Then I recontact them and they have no trace of my cancellation request.

Shocking service, their main care number 1901 goes unanswered, new account and using the new account number you can't contact tech support as account not recognised (yet can log into web portal) - tried ringing 4 of their retail stores in all cases unanswered no voicemail. Rang their sales line and was told 1901 (above) or Tech support (above) - avoid like the plague

Worst company in Ireland. They have no customer service. I'm out of contract and changed provider. But I can't cancel my broadband. The first time I called I was told it was the wrong number and I had to ring their cancellation number, so that was a waste of 40 minutes. I asked for a call back but I never got it. The second time I rang and finally got through to cancellation after another 40 minutes. The agent on the phone hung up on me. So I submitted a complaint which has also been ignored.
I wouldn't recommend anyone to sign a contract with Eir.

Awful service. Customer service does not exist within the organisation. They messed up yet I had to keep calling them. Cannot escalate calls to speak to a supervisor and when I asked to speak to complaints dept I was cut off. How can a company like that be allowed to continue. I have now received my bill for a service I never got.

Terrible service - should be avoided like the plague, at all costs to call it the absolute worst company ever in Ireland is a serious understatement - not only is the customer service totally clueless, but the mobile data and other services rarely works like it should and when it does it s absolutely sub par - if only I could cancel I would.

It makes a mockery of business!
Words can t describe my dislike for them!
Still billing me 4 months after cancelling subscriptions and overcharging me for more than 18 months!
Can t get through to anyone on call line I will be paying a visit to the office in person!

Very very bad service never see like this before if I call them I need to hold line more then 30-40 minutes sometimes more but then they can t able to help you just wasting your time

I always see this building on the train into the station. The annoying ads on the windows, the horrid company they became and destroyed the reputation of the name eircom so badly they had to rebrand completely. It's laughable. I always get an unpleasant feeling looking at the building even though it's a nice bit of modern architecture. What that means is plain old glass with steel. Too easy. Do something more interesting than just big glass windows with steel around the glass. It's boring to look at now. The name on the building destroys even that slight interesting note on the buildings architecture.
They don't even own it. Built it, sold it and now renting it back to raise money.

Never have I ever dealt with such a company as Eir, I cancelled installation one week after installation after no tv viewing due to a box in centre of screen saying 'connection error', loss of phone and broadband for the first 2 days. I phoned and phoned and problems were not resolved so due to all this had no choice but to cancel. Now they have the cheek to charge me for late cancellation with a huge 303 bill. Not a chance of that happening

GOMO has ported my ph number to someone else s SIM card, so now I ve lost my ph number (that I ve had for over 18 years!). Sent incorrect SIM/pin, which I paid for and now no GOMO customer service to sort it out.
Terrible service. If you re happy with you re current provider at competitive rate...don t move to GOMO

Most disastrous company I have ever dealt with. Have been trying to talk to a human being there since last June - IMPOSSIBLE. No email system working. Have tried web chat and all you get is moved from billy to jack . Sent letter but no reply. Logged a complaint on line with 48 hour response time promised, have not heard anything back. Sent notification to cancel contact but no acknowledgment of this.
Strongly recommend that nobody should do business with what must be the worst company for customer service ever.

Probably the worst customer service experience I have ever had. Reasons outlined below; - Take it as a given that you will have a problem.
1. Making a call means being prepared to be on hold for a long time and often numerous time throughout that call.
2. The problem is never resolved the first time so you will have to call back.
3. You will not get to speak to the same person again, even if you try. This means you will have to explain your problem numerous times.
4. Whoever you do speak to they will automatically try and transfer you to someone else.
5. The line drops all the time and you have to go through the process all over again.
6. When you do get transferred you will have to explain everything again and inevitably you will have been transferred to the wrong area.
7. You will hang up with nothing resolved after losing a significant amount of time and energy.
8. They will not call you back.
9. They often just say there is nothing they can do, without offering any further help or assistance. Although it has been agrred the problem is with their systems and processes
10. They are such a large organisation that it doesn't matter if they lose your custom and this is evident in the way they conduct their dealings with you.

Such terrible company! I only asked to move home, then they sent me 4 different bills by email with different amount to be paid. Also the worse thing happened. They charged Me 850 fees for moving home! Without notice or advise me ...! This company is insane I do not recommend it to my enemies!
