Shame on you Sirius Xm you-call me 10 times a day ...

Shame on you Sirius Xm you-call me 10 times a day asking me about having your services in car. I m not interested-at all in your services at all. You have been calling me non stop for months and months now. I get calls from you every day at 5 o clock in the morning sometimes and just wish you would stop calling me. I hope that this review will make you change your behaviour. I m not happy at all.

Customer service called me to extend my service and after several phone calls and speaking with my wife I declined and declined and declined. When he finally got the picture he hung up on me worst service.

The initial problem started when they debited the monthly service from my acct without my authorization. Upon calling to complain and cancel my service the Listener Care rep transferred me to Spanish speaking Cancellation. the woman was also bi-lingual and able to talk to me anyway where she stated she needed to transfer me again to English Cancellation dept. From beginning to the time I hung up was 50 minutes, Less than 2 minutes to get through the automated system to Listener Care, another 38 minutes to get to Spanish Cancellation and another 10 on hold waiting for English Cancellation.
So I called back, this time using the automated system to get to the Cancellation Dept. Took 10 minutes on hold, when the call was answered I requested that she cancel my service, she inquired why and I told her that I am upset with the billing practices of their company. This is when I really got a surprise, she proceeds to tell me that the entire problem is my fault because I didn't cancel my service a week and a half earlier. I replied that a week and a half ago I didn't want to cancel, but after seeing that they take money from peoples bank accts without their authorization I now do want to cancel. I continued with saying that I do not want to hear anything else from her except a cancellation number...she hung up on me.

My dear Friend Patricia Reinhardt is looking for her DAD his name is Tesfaye Araya. She is born in 1977 in Germany, and her Dad had to leave the country short after that. We know that he used to live in Connecticut and after that in New York City. He has an uncle in Boston, but we also know that he has cousins in New York City lower Manhattan area somehow connectet to a bar that caters to African and Ethiopians. She misses him badly and would love to meet him!!! We appreciate any help and hint. To all my American Friends and Family please share this and ask your friends to share it too.
The picture is the only one we have, it is a little older. So he probably looks a little different now :)

Why would you have customer service representative...

Why would you have customer service representatives read from scripted responses, while saying they understand. I spent 2hrs yesterday dealing with multiple people with obvious language barriers. I spoke with a supervisor that did not call me back after the call was dropped knowing I was upset with the poor service at that point. When I eventually was able to communicate with someone that "due to negligence and complete disregard for customer satisfaction" I no longer wanted any service from Sirius XM-- was I able to cancel all my services. Your billing system is horrible. Anyone with multiple devices experiences a nightmare every month and or billing cycle trying to time cancelations and renewals to prevent paying 4x or more for a service. It's not worth it, there are too many alternatives that value customer interaction and satisfaction. All I want is an apology for having to say dozens of times "I do not want to hear any other offers" repeatedly I was subjected to this weird marketing style that all roads lead to another sell. It felt like a time share primer. You can change how you do things, but you choose not to. Multiple representatives conducted themselves in the same way--reassuring me this was how business is done. For that reason and that reason alone, my business is going elsewhere and I will not return.

"Free" trials never turn out to be truly free. Signals get lost just going through a McDonald's drive-thru. Predatory billing practices - they agreed to give us a monthly billing cycle vs. a 6 month billing cycle in order to keep us from cancelling, and then proceeded to bill us for the 6 months anyway!

Trying to cancel is worse than the days of trying to cancel AOL. It's painfully obvious they work from a script and aren't even listening to the reasons why you want to cancel.

Unfortunately, the merger between Sirius and XM has left a very wanting, and weak product. Double e sadly, it is also being unfairly marketed as it is a lie. their programming is not commercial-free, as beginning on Channel 2, our talk shows and commercials. If you listen to the comedy shows, the commercials are even more rampant. I had the subscription for a while, I renewed it, and I am very displeased. I have cancelled it and I'm currently suing them for false advertising. I cannot recommend the service at all

Sirius contracts are dishonest. Read the small print because they'll throw it in your face when you need them. I purchased a lifetime because I was told by the salesperson that it would transfer. I sold the car and the company told me I should have completely read the contract. My subscription was sold over the phone. My credit card was charged over the phone. These guys intentionally and knowingly provided misleading information.

Update Jan 2015: Got an interesting call from Sirius Management. They corrected the problem and sent me on my way. I guess you have to be a royal pain in the butt before you get resolution. Not cool.

I would give them negative stars if I could. You have to give them at least one to post.
I agree with the person that posted the worst customer service on the planet. I tried their introductory offer after they sent it about 6 times. I thought we are going on vacation in my car so maybe we would use it and I would see if I liked it.
We didn't use it even once and when I got back, I never used it because I didn't even think about it. I just don't listen to things while I drive.
So I called in plenty of time to cancel. The lady told me they were sending me a free radio to listen wherever I wanted until the day my service ran out. I didn't want a free radio. I asked why would they do that? Her response was to make me happy. So she sent the radio.
She said call when you get it we will activate it.
I called to activate it and was told that there would be a charge for the service and that if I didn't activate it there would be a charge.
I explained I didn't want the radio in the first place and I was not paying for it. I would ship it back if they would send pre paid postage.
They said I could keep it no charge.
Today I got a bill for service starting the first of the month. I called to say I had cancelled. SO for 22 minutes i was on the phone to cancel the service I had already called twice to cancel. And they wanted me to pay $6.41 for the invoice and the 7 days of service for this month.
I't took ten minutes just to get that bill canceled. I hope this is the end of it.

It's unavoidable. I canceled in good standing after 5 years. I thought I was going to learn from everyone elses' complaints on the Web. Not so, 4 months after I THOUGHT I cancelled I received a call from collections.

If you were considering patronizing them, DON'T.

You'll save yourself a hell of a headache.
